Why I Started This Army

I basically started a Black Templar army for two reasons. First and foremost, in the past I've chosen armies that require a lot of work to get them painted and have struggled to field armies of anything more than grey plastic as I paint slowly. With the Black Templar colour scheme it's much fast to get a "base coated" army on the table. Also I really liked some of the fluff and tactica inherent within the army. I love the idea of the lunatics with swords running around hacking at anything and everything. Incase no one has noticed I based the names of each squad / character simply on the names of military characters from films I like. Barnes and Elias probably being two of the most recognizable.
