Why I Started This Army

This is my story and reason for making my army.

I started my army late last year(08)i think it was around November.My brother brought some ork models home and started doing some converting of stuff and building of a battle wagon from scrap.I recognized the models from the game i was playing on the computer and i was shocked i didn't know they had models and a table top game to go with it so i started looking at space marine stuff cause i playing with them in the game and stumbled on chaos space marines they looked really cool , I started saving money and buying everything i could i didn't understand what i needed so i ended up just buying a bunch of older models that aren't made anymore and some that aren't even legal :P,Then i read my codex and the rule book and soon found out later what i needed so i started building what i have today .

I started painting and soon after making terrain then I thought why not make my own weapons and machines so i started converting and creating things myself ,I'm still working on the land raider i started making it from scratch about a month ago, looking pretty nice if i say so myself .I'v made a few arms for my dreadnought who i don't use often just nice to have i guess.:P

But i,d have to say what started me on this hobby and the building of my army is that i can use my creative side to make something i enjoying doing hanging with freinds and playing warhammer is one of the greatest things in my life at the moment.
