Alright one thing everyone seems to agree on is that title Tabletop Battles is incredibly boring and generic. I just was looking at the thread and I had to go back and double check to make sure it was Tabletop Battles is so woefully boring. I think Dakka can do better. I think Dakka will do better. So what say you? What would be a better name?
I've been mulling around on it but haven't landed on anything yet. I thought maybe something with Rogue would be nice as a reference o Rogue Trader but with the Rogue Trooper movie, and IP in general, as well as so many other "Rogue" things I don't think it would work well with anything.

The Wargamer Times….maybe,I don’t think it’s taken. Honestly I got nothing good that would fit a wargaming website today.
It’s hard doing names that are both professional and good for something like this. I need a drink after that five minutes of brain power use.

Personally I'm always a fan of in-hobby references, like "2+rerollableinvulns", "Triple Snakeeyes", "Beardy Gamer", "Power Armoured Plastic Men", "The Charge Phase" or what have you.
I get that it's not as descriptive but I'm not sure that's necessary with how algorithms work today. Many times when searching for hobby stuff I get linked to old dakka threads, and "Dakkadakka" certainly is neither descriptive nor really understandable for new people in the hobby, but the interwebz/ Big Brother Google knows there's tabletop stuff going on.

Charge phase actually is good I think, taking on that. You could do The last Battle Round that follows a few references.

Any name avoiding tabletop, wargamer and the like would be good, as on point and descriptive as they are of the hobby, they are also, to me at least, so bland, soulless and forgettable. Bonus pretzel if it is paired with that generic, minimalist site design flooded in ads with clip art logo on top.
+1 for going with a name that is more of an in-hobby reference. People in the know will get it and to outsiders / new bloods the name may be silly at first, but it could be more memorable and stick out.

No, they mentioned it's entirely deliberate, referring both to the celestial body and the Dawi. It's indeed a very good name.
