I just realized here on Dakka- we talk about little plastic men and argue about abstract rules- and even about the best way to kill zombies and legal issues( probly the same thing there!)
But we never talk about food!!! Foods a human constant, we all eat.
So what are you eating now- or wish you were eating?
Me, Im making steak fingers and have the flour finger prints on my key board to prove it!

Maybe the FDA was afraid of a sudden Ricketts outbreak amongst the population that lives on beer and corn chips!!

Theyve been out for years actually(at leasst here in Az- maybe they get marketed around more during Cinco de mayo)- and Cinco De Mayo isn't really celebrated in Mexico(its an Americanized drinking holiday ).
But, in honor of the liminess! I threw the rest of my beef into the crock pot with a couple diced up lime and some spices- its like a roast beef air freshener!

Our Canadian version of the FDA (Which isn't called the FDA but I can't bloody remember the actual name of it) is far more relaxed in terms of marketing regs though. It's part of the reason that we can buy Prep-H in the original shark-oil formula as a cosmetic item, for example. It cures dark, baggy eyes. Comes in handy when you don't what to go to work looking like you stayed up drinking all night at the pub

Well, anyone with a basic medical understanding of how a Hemmorrhoid works could make the connection between Butt-cream that reduces swelling and increases bloodflow, and the fact that if you put it on the dark bags under your eyes, they'll fade away.

The funny thing is I've talked this idea over with both my Brother & my Girlfriend, both are cautiously supportive, biggest concern being the current economic climate in GA.
I would honestly love to own my own restaurant,as cooking is some what of a "tradition" in my family (my Moms side owned a bakery from the 30s up until the mid 80's),and most of the men in my family consider themselves the next Justin Willison (delusional lot we are).
On a side note,I rarely see Moon Pies here in GA. (wich is odd),except for at the occasional stop and shop & at Dave Poes ( a fantastic little BBQ place in Marietta GA. that I highly recomend). ... Hey,I just did a comercial.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Instant_noodles
According to a Japanese poll in the year 2000, instant noodles were the most important Japanese invention of the century. Karaoke came second, with the Compact Disc only coming in fifth. As of 2008, approximately 94 billion servings of instant noodles are eaten worldwide every year. China consumes 45 billion packages of instant noodles per year, or 48% of the world, Indonesia consumes 14 billion, Japan 5.1 billion. Per capita, South Korean people eat the highest number of instant noodles, 69 packages per year.
Goddamit, Japan...
Note: Oriental flavor scares me... What the hell is it? Cajun/creamy chicken is a bit ambiguous... but it still says chicken. Same with picante beef, which I have never actually seen before.

Hehe- if I have beef fat around it means I jsut made some beef- and hence the tofu would get to hang out in the fridge I also have the tendency to buy the leaner meats so theres not much fat left over. Sounds tasty though, maybe I'll go lipo a nearby cow

15894
Post by: Mistress of minis
Hehehe- you dont even have to bake them! But depending on the chocolate you use- you might have to refridgerate them.
Mint choclate chips(usually next to the regular choc chips in a decent grocery store)
Ritz crackers.
Melt the chips(look up how to do a double boiler so you dont scorch it).
Dip a Ritz in to it, place on wax paper(or other flexible non stick surface). Repeat, and then chill/refridgerate.
If you want to get fancier(and have less melty chocolate) you can find some confectioners chocolate, and add mint extract to it. It has a higher melting point, but isnt likely to be at your grocery store. And mint extract can be a pain in the butt to find. At least around here
It sounds odd with the ritz crackers, but theyre like a 90% match- theyre cheaper and you can make them year round

Mmm snack to keep me going till I get home and have dinner in about 4hrs.
Rustler Burger deluxe, microwaved for an extra 20secs. Bring out, try to avoid burning fingers, one slice of dairylea cheese between bacon/burger and top of bun. Cheap yellow cheese slice that comes with it between bottom of burger and bun base.
Leave to cool for 2mins, come back, cheese now melted fully either side, open up between burger and bacon, add a dollop of Tom K and yummy.

It's a really great comic that gave us this memorable image: It's set in a dystopian future where one of the religions is called 'Breatharianism', implying that it's followers only need air to survive because god gives them the rest of the things they need. It also introduces the notion of dolphin curry, koala cereal and powdered children. It is fun

This wouldn't qualify, my one roomie cannot cook rice... soaked and seasoned, recooked and all and its still crunchy. Other roomies want me to do all the cooking, still negotiating my pay.

Corn-on-the-cob slathered in butter and spices (I use a Cajun spice mix), roasted on the bbq without the husks. Usually called Mexican Street Corn.
