Now how did you came to that conclusion?

...Precognition perhaps...

Kais can keep no secrets, before the all knowing Fitzz..

... And for my next trick...I'll tell you what Natasha and the twins will be doing later tonight...

That's not a trick. That's called guess and check.

Will they be playing Parcheesi? No, how about watching the Sopranos? What about having furious lesbian sex like they always do?

@ Kais...pffft...if you expect me to believe for one second that Dez still isn't out for revenge for his Father...then perhaps you should try to sell me the Brooklyn Bridge next.

I am so sorry dear Lord Fitzz for I have sinned!!!

Anyway, but yeah, Atlas is not trying to get vengeance, why would he need vengeance anyway? What for?

Clues are in my last post...

EDIT: @Fitzz, you do know I am not playing as Dez, right?

@ Chowder...well, actually Natasha quite likes the Sapranos...though she was very annoyed by the ending.

Again?

You never did have your character kill Atlas, because he was an NPC at the time...

... just checking Fitzz, because I'm not gonna pull any "Dez" stunts again...

If Dez even shows his face near Natasha, I can bet the next place it will be seen is sewn onto Natasha's banner.

Atlas was a PC, a player created character.

just a status update: Fitzz, I'm about to toss up an RP that puts Harlow back at the Den and focuses on the "mysterious briefcase" he's brought with him...

EDIT: Also Ineptus...do realize that when you get there you will not only have to worry about the Fortress' guards, you will also have to deal with me...

be on your best behavior if you value your head...

The bell tower sounded the eleventh hour of the night. Under the eerie light of the moon, two mysterious strangers met at the foot of the ancient Tower. The taller one opened his briefcase, pulling a tattered parchment out. The Language, one forgotten by time long ago scribbled onto it, next to strange symbols. The smaller person, pulled out a blade. He made a small cut in his finger, signing the parchment in with his own blood. The bell tower sounded once more. A deal had been struck, payment was given. A new powerful alliance watched the world, reveling in what the future would bring.

And somewhere a woman laughed, knowing that her moment had begun…

Oh snap, I can see it all now. The Network is going to force the mages under Beserk's control to open a hole in the veil, but Pontius already made a small wound and after the one in Oregon is opened, the stress on the veil will cause the wounded portion to tear open. Bjorn, Illuminatus, and Sophie will realize that they made a mistake and battle fervently to close the Oregon portal, but by then it will be too late, the rift in Nevada will open wider because the rift in Oregon closed and more of the Crooked World will pour into the real world where Natasha and the other wolves will fight the Julii coming in. The Iscariots will see them as a good distraction and strike at Cain while he is busy fighting the wolves of the normal world. A massive fight will break out as the Iscariots fight loyal Julii to get to Cain, but during this fight Scarlet and Nero will show up and spread their own blood to the unaware kindred, taking out both Cain and the Iscariots in one fell swoop. This will leave the kindred scattered and the wolves weakened as the blood coursing through Scarlet becomes powerful and infects more of the kindred. She will then order her army of ubervampires into the Crooked world and take over that as well.

Either that will happen, or something totally not like that will happen.

Oh, so somehow Pontius doing the macarena while counting to 42 with a mouth full pop rocks will bring about the epic showdown between Natasha and Cain that will lead to Andy killing Natasha and half of Ryan. Which in turn will cause every human on Earth to become a peep which will ruin Cain's plans to turn Earth into a feeding ground, but make execution by microwave incredibly valid.

Again?

You never did have your character kill Atlas, because he was an NPC at the time...

... just checking Fitzz, because I'm not gonna pull any "Dez" stunts again...

Atlas was a PC, a player created character.

But you never killed him, as you weren't controlling Musatie...

Probably won't be Vegas running; Normal Vegas is dead, little Vegas is well, little, and Crooked Vegas is in the Crooked World.

It will however get the attention of every single other vamp, hunter, and wolf in Las Vegas. Pontius may be looking for your guy soon seeing as though he killed the last vampire who brought too much attention the the existence of vampires.

Man, that was fun to read... poor Longinius.

Well somewhere in the same state as Las Vegas.

You two should have your characters meet up, but you have to make an appointment or Pontius will get upset. The guy loves scheduling and secrecy so you'll probably have to write some sort of brainteaser in order for him to even accept your appointment.

....Um...the entire point of this RP is " Something deeper"...as I've stated in numerous post within this very thread, just " running around killing things" isn't what this RP is about...
Perhaps it could be called " quest"...or " focus on story", but the overall idea is to have characters who are more than one dimensional " video game avatars" , the idea is to build story...interact with other characters, further the narative and plotlines of the RP...to basically contribute to building this "world"...while partaking in various " action events" that will randomly occur.

Derrick and Ruiz are at the Fang's base (you will see why in the RP bit)

Dutch and Abdi are there too.

the Fang's base is in a cold war 'nuclear testing ground' that was never used, they live under the Nuketown. the nuke in question has had it's uranium become impotent long ago.

I asked Fitzz who all would be there and he said Jarin and Davin specifically, I didn't write anyone else because I didn't want to cause some sort of time paradox and didn't know if that would step on anyone's toes...I can change it if its a big deal but I really don't see why it can't be brought to her attention by Natasha/Jarin or possibly both, later.

I'd guess its to do with the Ezuli's 'number two' thing FITZZ had Natasha mention in BM2. My impression was they are the command, although I might be reading that wrong.

I understand the concern of putting someones PC in the mix, might have been worth PMing Aura first. Something for everyone to consider as BM3 goes on if you want to interact with other PC's.

True but ts not a big thing really.

@War... I was just asking, as Erzuli is 'second to Natasha'... it simply makes me have to think of a response to it thats all. Erzuli's ego being damaged might be funny tbh. ...I see that some f the new folks are starting to feel the " groove" of this story, and hope they continue to develope their characters...and bring them and their activities into the story arch...
I should note to Marmaduke that though it was a " flash back" sequence in some of your RP ( and done well) be aware that Ivan is dead...destroyed in the previous RP....perhaps that could serve as a gateway to suggest a " quest" for your character..
Overall great work guys...really loving what each of you are putting out...

Let's put it this way. Musater has a bullet with "Natasha" written on it. The Kindred have written "To whom it may concern" on theirs.

Who's the bigger threat? Four people, or an entire fething dimension?

@ Chowder...

Musater has been on the top of Natasha's " hit list" for a year now...and while it's true she would most likely not know all his aliases ...she would still have quite a few eyes and ears hunting him...of course that's not to imply Musater will be having his doors kicked in anytime soon...but...one never knows when a Black Patrol will leap out of the shadows...or a rogue wolf will spot Musater and contact Harlow...with times, locations and other info...

Harlow might, you think he's been sitting around doing nothing for a year? The lycans are about to be plunged into war, they'll probably want to know about their enemy's many faces and names...

Let's put it this way. Musater has a bullet with "Natasha" written on it. The Kindred have written "To whom it may concern" on theirs.

Who's the bigger threat? Four people, or an entire fething dimension?

Oh I definitely agree here...Natasha is much more focused on the war with Cain than on finding Musater...if Musater had been her only concern he'd have never lasted a year...poor Natasha has a lot distracting her and keeping her from committing her full resources to finding a few Nrahjah.

Jarin would enjoy it, make it last. Take revenge for what Musater did to his slaughterhouses during WWII.

Harlow would put the knife in the back. Jarin, however, would twist it.

Yeah I could see that...Harlow wouldn't much have anything personal in for Musater...but to be honest I'm less worried about Musater and more worried about his pal Leman Russ and the witch chick...

Would this be an okay sheet?

Player-Ogryn

Character-Astral De’von

Race-Oprikkini

Age-139 years

Physical Description-Tall, strong built, scarlet eyes.

Weapons-Small jeweled sword, sometimes carries guns

Backstory-Astral De’von is a vicious Oprikkini who often works for vampire lords. When he was but a small child, he witnessed his father being killed by a pair of Human hunters. From that day on, Astral swore to hunt, and destroy all humans. He claims his victims by usually luring them to an enclosed area, and tearing their stomach open.

Stats
WS-6 BS-2 S-8 T-7 W-3 I-5 A-4 SV-3+

Mount-Astral normally rides upon a large black steed, who has fiery dark eyes.

Temper-Astral has a very bad temper, and can get mad often. Astral will not only kill Humans, but other races that get in his way. He has been known to tear out a Human’s throat after getting annoyed.

I guess that would be why Musater would rather face Harlow than Jarin...if you recall from BMII...Jarin really " goes to work" on those unfortunate enough to find themselves under his claws...
Harlow just seems to be a much.." friendlier" way to die...

Jarin's been in a lot of situations where he needs someone to talk...Harlow...he's been wandering around by himself for most of his life so he hasn't had much of a need other than to kill those who get in his way...who knows...maybe I'll write up some more "unfriendly" kills of Harlow's and you'll rethink who you throw yourself on the mercy of...

Yes, but that also gives you access to 100 NPCs...if you see what I mean.

Well, Musater never gained any real allies, so I guess Carl and Mordo's wraith-thing.

It's not that I mind the idea that Ineprtus characters are part of a larger group...but it does conflict with some existing " BM Fluff" ( for lack of a better term), insomuch that as Natasha's " Kingdom ( Queendom?)"....is made up of most of the wolves in existance ( with a few exceptions)...and she has mercilessly kept it that way.
The existance of a large, organized paramilitary contingency of wolves that have not already sworn loyalty to her sort of goes against the past to BM's...
Add to that that there aren't thousands of wolves world wide...a force of 100 wolves would be far to large to escape her notice...hell the " Lunar Brotherhood" which had only a handfull of wolves , fell under her scrutiny.

... I guess basically I'm saying that a group as large as " The Fang" would constitute a signifigent concern to Natasha...and would have already been ...dealt with in some way.

Well...not necessarily ....Natasha could always decide that the Fang represents a far to "organized" and independent group to be permited to exist seperately...which could always spark a " Wolf war"...

Musater could find allies in the Fang then.

If Natasha knows of the Fang, then Musater does as well. If he does, and he hasn't joined in the year since he went rogue, he's probably not interested.

Yeah...that does make sense, Musater comes across as a bit to inteligent to paint a bullseye on himself and then walk around waving a " Here I am!!" flag.

uhm i kinda have a great idea for developing a backstory for my character the only problem is it would take like at least 2 weeks in in game time and would require a lot of skipping in time... for cinematic purposes

so any suggestions/ ideas/ is it okay if i do it/ is it even allowed/ how badly will this mess up everyone else?

Well, I'm certain you've noticed that most of the PCs involved in the story have done numerous " flashback" RP's to establish backstory...so clearly I've no problem with you doing the same.
Though I would hope you don't intend to spend 2 IRL weeks typing "backstory" while not progressing your character in the current timeline.

Aye, stuck in the same boat as Aura, had a migraine most of yesterday and this morning, and still running a fever.

Fact I've changed my mind on something and need to totally re-write four of the six remaining parts isn't helping, but will get stuff up in the coming week.

Expect all my pre story stuff to be done by next Saturday I'm reckoning, unless this 'whatever it is' persists more than tonight.

... I would say that so long as there is an reason behind the actions that is linked to the story and what is developing than there's no reason for me to be against it...
But...if it's just creating stuff to blow it up...then absolutely not.
As I stated several times throughout this thread...Blood Moon is not ..nor will it ever be a " Video Game" RP...where the only reason for the RP is to run around and kill/blow gak up...BM is story driven and things have to happen for a reason that pertains to forwarding the story...and expanding it.
If this plan of yours doesn't do that...then again..I'd rather you not do it.

it is to symbolically show the end of someones reign over Florence's conscience . personally i think it is quiet good just hope i can do it justice

and i will keep it in mind not to go overboard....though there might be a couple of conciseness that i would have to blame on luck, and the power of the script, but it is all to get him better fleshed out as a character

Nah, looking at sheer drops here. Nice gravel roads with a 30-50 foot drop on one side with trees and barbed wire keeping you from going over the edge, then there's one or two roads where you can't see what's on the other side until you crest the hill. Woods on both sides of the road and at night I wouldn't want to get out of the car.

@Fitzz, I don't think anybody with a hockey mask would dare venture out there. Just really creepy over all which is why I'm glad we only slept there for two nights and stayed out and about for most of the time we were there.

On a side note for those interested, that was mostly part 7 in my previous write ups and Scarlett didn't survive the encounter.

However after thinking about it, I felt bringing in a new character, and removing my first one via a story although a big shock, would have robbed the story of something in the long run.

The dragon is Vlad the impaler;...Who also is the Embracer of Flourence....who talks to him in his dreams to find something for him.

I'm guessing MDS and Marmaduke have a agreement on this....Cause i smell ....inconsistiesies...incosistie...(I have no idea how to write this word. )

Edit; also this text, say Vlad should be dead according to Marmaduke

I didn't even pick up on that in his post tbh.. so sadly no mention to me at all.

As far as I was concerned apart from Chowder/Musater issue (which I've sorted, will come up in a set up post soon) Dracula is alive and well in NY.

My bad really, I assumed being all/mostly Vampire fans in a Horror game, folks would have realised who the 'Dragon' is in my BM2 post. Of course for me thats because I am a massive Dracs fan, so should have been thinking more on that.

If his intention is to be connected to Dracs as I'm writing him, thats cool, and tbh someone either claiming to be Vlad, or literally is Vlad whispering in his dreams sounds like damn fine DM ammo to me FITZZ.

MDS-= Morathi'sDarkest Sin, one of the vet players in this RP.

Not saying that you meant to cause any problems man, and there's no major damage done...
You'll just need to ( In future RPs) insure that Florence isn't " talking" to / or immplying the deaths of NPCs that other characters are using...
Actually having Florence hearing the voice of Ivan ( or at least thinking it's Ivan) makes some sense...as Florence is Opriknikki...

Ok folks, as I've stated several times...please pay attention to what the other PCs are RPing...so we can avoid slips like this...
Nice catch Silly BTW.

That's what I'm hoping for Warork...we've got a great bunch of vets here...and the new folks, for the most part will catch on...I know that we'll all be able to make this chapter of Blood Moon just as good or better than the previous ones....we're just in a bit of a rough patch right now.

Okay, I'm back.

A bit of mixed news here, due to IRL issues I won't really be able to be on the internet for much time for an indefinite amount of time, I will be able to check the internet around (daytime for you) nighttime for me.

On a side not, I still can't think of anything to post, whenever the image of the 'ambassadorial meeting' comes u. I just imagine all the Characters in suits and ties with cocktials and those miniature sandwiches 'mingling'

At least you guys liked it, and its funny that you mention Rocky.

I watched some Rocky fights in order to get a reference for how to start a match and different fighting styles. I did watch a bit of Raging Bull as well, but we studied it for Art History so I see it for overcranking and other special effect techniques now.

I also was thinking about the Godfather, but that's another movie I can't watch because I'll be looking at the lighting effects now.

@ineptus, sorry to hear about that, hopefully the internet gods will smile upon thee.

You know, silly. One good thing from my grandparents moving is that I won't have to stay in my mom's old room, a room filled with dolls. Dolls that look just like sophia's profile pic sans the blood.

Hmmm I have to think you've not read BM 1 or BM 2 then, I can think of many more things more worrying that what just happened there.

Will hopefully get my next post up today, annoying me that I can't put up my new character sheet until all these are done.

2nd most worrying thing; Being on Pontius's list.
3rd most worrying thing; Being interrogated by Andy
4th most worrying thing; Pissing off Natasha
5th most worrying thing; Being a hunter
6th most worrying thing; having a conscience

The most worrying thing; Being an Empire City Police Officer.

Well I think this RP deserves some quality writing and for me that means its probably going to be substantial in length so...

And sorry halo but Smokey is a brown bear...ironic given that the original Smokey mascot was a black bear...so Grizzlies are open game...

I hate going to church on Sunday too Fitzz.

@Warork, yeah it was a nice RP and I did enjoy reading it despite the fact that you cut the head off of a gentle and loving grizzly bear, but it was long. I would say that it had quality and quantity which makes reading the RP difficult because I like to skim and if everything in it is interesting or important then I can't fething skip over it now can I?

But just make sure you wear padding when your at mini-golf and make sure to wear oven mitts when handling the trays at the bake sale... and make sure the cookies are cool before you start to eat them or else you'll burn your tongue.

Okay, Andy had to think about how to remove a tongue with just one hand and that seemed like the best way to do it. Harlow just cut a bear's head off, there is a difference there Mr. Killthegrizzlies. I mean that probably made some other grizzly bear really sad.

Just look at the sad grizzly bear, look at it! Harlow made him sad, he could've at least left a picnic basket for the next of kin but no, he had to rip its head off with a knife.

Also, when you read my posts I want you to record it, read out loud, and post it on youtube.
