So what's the most expensive thing you've ever ordered (and received) from Forge World? No hatin' on them for their warped/cracked pieces, just post some cool pics please, because I'd love to see some of this stuff outside of the FW light-tent. Doesn't actually have to be the most expensive, anything is welcome...

I have an Emperor's children dread, that was the most expensive. Pics I can give, but it is not painted and would not ad to my post IMHO :(

The rest of my FW collection is some rhino-doors, ork stikkbomba (the big statue like thing) and Ork-glyph plates. The Ork is a WIP in the painting department (have not touched it in a few months now and has been a few years since I bought it )

I still want some of the flyers and tanks they have, but I am on a tight budget and the wife will not allow me to spend € 50 on a box if she can help it, let alone €100 or more... Married the wrong one I guess

The most exspensive is my early model shadowsword, followed by a macharius, arkurion pattern shadowsword and stormblade, vulture, hydra, and destroyer tank hunter.

Never bought anything from them. Working with other company's kits got me hating resin so I sure won't pay a fortune for it.

But, I'm a bit excessive when it comes to cool looking models, so I have quite a bit of other foreworld stuff too.

I bought 2 of their hellhounds at the same time, that was the most expensive

I was going insane and considering getting a reaver titan, but I was able to resist. My bank account thanks me for that every day.

Titan techpriest... Thats the ONLY thing I have from forgeworld that I bought... Have a WE dread too, but I won that one in a local tourney (not by winning mind you, I'm magic in the raffles that they do at tourneys here...)

I have the Vindicator conversion for the rhino (from before GW released the same mini as a plastic kit).

I never got all that much from FW. I'd love to have one of their greater daemons.

Of all the stuff I have from them, my Trygon's the most expensive. I mostly buy their dreads and individual figures. And the books. and Land Raider variants.

lol- I think the most expensive thing I have are my chimera autocannon turrets, cause they're all I buy.

For little stuff I have the spined chaos beast, both chaos flyers, couple death guard squads and a lot of renegades.

My most significant Forgeworld thing is the older version Eldar Scorpion tank, a hefty chunk of resin that has taken quite some time to clean. It is still unpainted but I will be starting it during the next week or two

Mine's a Malcador Defender, a pretty hellacious kit to put together but much-loved by me.

These two sets of White Scars hatches. Needless to say, I won't be ordering from FW again.

THE most expensive piece I've bought was a Valkyrie flyer. It was a PITA to rebuild and put together and I got rid of it after priming the model as I didn't want it around reminding me of the "quality" of their pieces. I'm not a noob when it comes to resin, either, having cut my teeth on garage kits from Japan and the USA and even armorcast before trying FW.

I've not bought any FW since.

My only purchase was a Wave Serpent, back in 3rd edition when transports were king and Wave Serpents were not available to buy.

Not being ric, or a minimaxing cheesebucket I stuck with just the one.

I am in no hurry to go back to Forgeworld for anything else. Though I am off and on tempted to get a pair of Aurora Eldar light cruisers.

I am big into titans and such, but happier to get old Armorcast.

I have a bunch of FW things. Chaos troop and termie upgrades. Vehicle upgrades. Chaos Spawn and a Hell Blade. My FW stuff never really travels over the 100 dollar mark for one item.

The most expensive GW model I own is the Baneblade.

I don't own any FW stuff aside from their FREE Catalogs.

As I can do Imperial Armor conversions with plasticard, I refuse to pay FW prices for models that I think I can do better jobs on.

Door set to make an Inquisitorial Stoormtrooper Rhino. Got those 4 years ago and they're still in the bags. And the Rhino is still shrink-wrapped in the box as well as the Stormtroopers and a blister of Assualt Weapon Stormtroopers. I'll get to it someday.

Got only a small amount of FW stuff, some LR doors, SoB Rhino doors and Insignia...but the only costly value is the Word Bearer Dread w/ all assorted weaponry.

The Valkyrie I got would probably be the most significant purchase. No pic on hand, though.

I got a baneblade donkey's years ago for £150 - it's taken me so long to build it and paint it in between everything else, it still isn't finished and of course you can get plastic baneblades now!

I do like their stuff and have a Valkyrie, various replacement parts (I love their icon packs etc.) and had an Iron Warriors dreadnought (sold that on). The resin is OK once you learn to work with it.

I've got WAY too much FW stuff, but the big ticket items are my Gargantuan Squiggoth and Ork Bomma. The rest is LR sized and smaller.

The most expensive FW thing I have is a Warhound Titan, but I also have a couple of FW Leman Russes, a Vulture Gunship and a few small things like the Reaver Princeps, who will very soon be getting a Reaver Titan of his own!

I put in an order for several people and spent about $1100.

The most expensive thing was the Ork Battle Fortress.

I've only bought from FW twice (so far), and didn't spend much both times. That WILL change once I get my hands on the new 'Nids Codex and see what I still need to buy from there.

So far, I've only bought a Heavy Bolter Pillbox and a Black Legion CSM Dreadnought (with Dred CC Arm and TL-Autocannon arm).

hmmm the most expensive FW stuff i got was the tau manta. i had to shave off a few hundred dollars off the price when i told my wife what i bought and she still threw a fit " you bought what!!! for how much!!!"...mind you i slept in the sofa that night but it was worth it.

I have a FW Ad Mech Techpriest. I think he's more expensive than the Servo-Skulls.

I have three FW models, two of which are now available in plastic... The most expensive was a baneblade I purchased some years ago, it cost over 200 usd, and the newer plastic ones are way cooler. I also have a valkryie which I purchased at Atlanta gamesday, (when there was a gamesday in Atlanta) for more than a hundred usd, as I recall. Once again, the new plastic one is way cooler. In the future, I plan on makeing better decisions as far as what and when I buy from FW...

Chaos Warhound Titan. Didn't buy it new though, it was an Ebay special.

The guy who works in my local GW just got back from training or something like that.
He got a tour of the FW factory and they said that they sell about 1 manta per month.
Sound alot to me but they are out there!

3 Mega Dreads, Warboss Biker, Biker Nobs. I errr..kinda still need to get around to building them. Had them for a couple of weeks.

I guess the Mega Dreads are the most expensive models out of the lot.

I had a FW Bloodthirster converted and painted as a commission piece. It looked like the Mike Gibbons picture of the Bloodthirster from the last Realm Of Chaos book about ten years ago.

It was a wedding present to a good friend.

Vanheim Bassie Shield, General Graevus (?), and a Ryza LRBT turret.

Generally speaking, all well-cast and I'm happy with them all.

The most expensive FW thing I've had was a gen 1 resin valkyrie.

Damn thing was soo miscast, it was returned unsalvageable. To their credit, I was refunded the money AND they sent me a replacement gratis.

Unfortunately, it was also a miscast piece of crap (only not -quite- as bad as the first one) but this was salvageable. 6 weeks later, after I'd finished straightening the tail booms, wings, doors, and rebuilding the canopy (it was broken in transit) struts, it was assembled and primered and sold off to some other sod.

I've not touched FW since. I've been FW free for the last 5 years.

all this thread has done is make me figure out roughl how much i've spent on forge world in the past 5 or 6 years... was enough for a good down payment on a home....
