Floridian WC members held our first tourney yesterday. It was a big success and a special thanks to Coliseum of Comics in Kissimmee for all their support!

I have to agree with JohnHwangDD here.

Nah, I'm not tryin to pick at them. I have no problem with WC as I've never encountered any of them (that I know of). But I jus thought that it was funny when The one guy thew up sign in White Dwarf (jesus GOD how funny that sounds!!!), and now here again. I don't understand it.

But if it wets their whistles, then cool. Good for them, glad they have a group of like-minded folks to play against.

I find the sign amusing, but good on you for having a dedicated club/organization, means a guaranteed opponent, after all.

That is funny, I think the gang sign is a good laugh, but it might just be an American thing.

I find the lack of more awesome shades disturbing.

You see, they don't cheat, they've got god on their side. That's a part of it, I think another big part is that 40k attracts a lot of people that weren't sitting at the cool table in the lunch room. To find out, even in this geeky part of the world, that there is a group of people that's cooler than you is a psychic blow. Rather than simply accept that, there's a kneejerk reaction to either cut down that group, or try to invalidate it.

Edit: I'm not defending these guys, for all I know they really do all the horrible things of which they are accused, but I know nerd rage when I see it.

The point of the pic is that I really really love that G3. It cost a great deal of money and looks absolutely beautiful. I mean seriously you cant say that rifle isn't awe inspiring in the pic can you? That is the finest in German engineering. I mean its made by germans and you know they always make great stuff. If the pic somehow made you uncomfortable or what not I do apologize, I guess I didn't think me posting a pic of my rifle would offend anyone in a thread that already has a pic of another much larger and almost as awesome rifle.

I didn't like the pictures of either guns to be honest... They don't fit in with the discussion. It's not a big deal but I got the impression you might have been trying to make some kind of point with the picture. No harm done, apparently you just love your rifle.
