After a good 4 months of development I'm pleased to announce the arrival of the Daemon Adoptables site.

It has 10 adoptable Daemons with plans for expansion already under way.

Daemons begin their life in the Warp Rift stage and grow from insignificance up to Greater Daemons as they're clicked and levelled.

Head over to the Daemon Adoptables site or click on one of these beauties to get your own!

I don't see why not. The plan is to add as many different sets as possible. As long as you can suggest a feasible "egg" stage it can be done.

There's *something* weird about the site.

last night, after clicking on one, I received numerous messages that I'd already helped "this demon" when trying to click on other people's Demons... not EVERY demon, though. Some I could click on & some I couldn't.

I am having the same issues today, from work.

Not really, as a guide I think 100 x 100 (ish) pixels is best. A little more is ok really. The thing to consider is limitations in the height of signatures.

Lots of them are cut off.

As you can see from this one its slightly bigger.

I've NEVER clicked that Demon before, but I tried to click on him and encountered a problem that I encounter regularly from both work and home:

It seems theres a nagging issue with the script and Internet Explorer. Everyone that experienced the problem with IE has been able to get around it for the time being with chrome or firefox.

I'm onto CueScripts to find out what the problem is.

This is an unusual error.

I can't seem to reproduce the problem at all with any browser.

As you click is it giving a time frame to suggest when the last time you attempted to level a Daemon occurred?

yes, its usually around 20 hours or so before i can vote again, yet i leave it until that night and it has dropped to 12 hours, it then climbs back up to around 20 before i get the chance to vote again.
ive only managed to level up a few daemons so far due to this

I heard they grow best on a steady diet of pubes found in freshly opened GW product boxes.

So I got the one of the two I wanted on the second try.

Well, I got mine started!

I traded for the one that I wanted and he was higher level as well. Now the guy got mine but I never received his. It is strange. Anyone else had a problem with this?

Now I contacted the people who run the site and they fixed everything!!! They were polite and very quick. I have to say the customer service is amazing!! Not only do they have a fun product but are actually listing and helping those who use it.

Ya and a Tyranid one, ooh or mabey you can have a normal guys
like Imperial guard or SM and have them rise through the ranks to who knows what.

Yeah there's currently a limit of 20 but it's subject to change depending on how many different sets there are.

Dezartfox is currently drawing the concept images for the next batch.

I'd love to see Orks, but I'm thinking it would be difficult to have as much variation, unless you divided them by clan.

After days of trying I finally got a Demoness. Now spud has a little sister.

Just wanted to keep you updated on the progress of our first planned update,

Here are the improvements we're going to make.

* Featured adoptable box for main forum.
* A way to select from different sets on adoption.
* Sort Top Daemons page by sets.
* Feature to search a users Daemons.
* Remove name/level bars if desired.
* Click to level as opposed to click then click again to level.
* Redirect back to trade main page after trade action.
* Show previous evolutions on the profile page.

I'm also testing different artists to work on future sets.


The main change is the one click to level one. This'll mean you simply click on the image to level, it'll make speed levelling a lot quicker.

Just to recap they are.

As always there may be an error or two so let me know as soon as you find a problem.

The majority of the changes aren't going to be apparent until the new races are added to the site.

The biggest alteration is in the way they level, you no longer have to click on the level up button after clicking on the daemon image from another site. From now on simply clicking the image on a page will level the creature. For this to occur though you will have to update the bbcode within your signature as its been updated.

The other main change is the ability to toggle the level and name bars on or off via a switch on your manage daemons page.

No really, I think they're kewl. You should add extra stages to them, though.

For additions, it has to be Tyranids, since nothing else lends itself to the "evolution" angle as easily.
