I would choose Undivided, but since that isn't an option I don't know which god. Each of them has something to offer, and its that what makes it hard to choose. I'd like what all of them have to offer.

I would have said Nurgle but . . . well, it's just gross. Same goes for Slaanesh. And Khorne seems rather stupid. Plus I like voting for change I can believe in.

It has to be khorne! (besides the fact my chaos lord is dedicated to them). Reasons for being so, it makes a battle a true fight. Its not very interesting just worshipping a god who will give you the power to stand back, shoot and be done with it... where is the passion for death, blood, and war.

Also, my Chaos Lord, without khorne, was killed by a volley of pistols....yes...embarrasing. When i upgraded him to khorne and gave him:
- A bloodfeeder demon weapon
- A squad of 5 khornate terminators
- The mark of khorne...obviously
- and a few more squads of my army also dedicated (everything else is undivided)...(apart from my tzeentch sorceror)

Anyway...with all this added, he survived a volley of bolters, killed over half of that 20 man squad, a librarian(who failed a psychic test for his force weapon) and a razorback, with his combi melta. All with just 2 wounds lost, yet still standing.(the terminators were not so lucky...) KHORNE RULES...........MORE SKULLS FOR THE SKULL THRONE >: )

Choosing a single patron is a shortcut to disaster, at least when Undivided you can hold off fate a while longer.

Ah, but Undivided also means that it is less likely you will get any favor at all! The gods do seem to like dedication and it's a treacherous path to try to please four such masters.

To that end, Nurgle is out. Immortality as a fat putrid stinking rothole? No thanks. Khorne is out. Mindless rage is far too easy to manipulate and short lived. Tzeentch would be neat, except that you would be riddled with paranoia and never know when your capricious master decides to "gift" you with an extra tentacle, head, melting face, etc. But in the meantime throwing warpfire is fun, I guess.

Slaanesh seems the one most would turn to. The initial lure is easy pleasure. But as it draws on, it is revelling in all sensation- ultimate hedonism. Not too shabby. They all lead down a destructive path to oblivion, at least that one is fun for part of it! And don't forget pleasure slaves.

I have a genuine love for all chaos gods. I would definitely be undivided, worshiping all the chaos gods equally, spilling blood for khorne, and using the scheming and lies of tzeentch to do it. Using those corpses to spread Nurgle's Rot. Growing 'shrooms out of cow poo to slip into water supplies. I would either ascend to a Daemon Princess, or be purged by cleansing fire and live my last moments in ecstasy as I was devoured by daemons.

It's because Tzeentch is all cool and that, but the fact is a 6+ ward save for fantasy mortals, a 5+ Inv save for 40k marines and a 4+ ward/inv save for daemons just isn't that great. In the old rules there were proper Tzeentch armies, now the closest you can get is the brokeness of daemons.

It annoys me when people call Daemons broken. They are in no way broken, you just need to know how to defeat them. I managed to defeat them twice in a row with my Dark Eldar in 1500pt battles. No army is unbeatable. Even when in control of my FLGS manager . . . an ex-manager of GW . . . and the usual victor in battles with me. Just goes to show that A- Dark Eldar are awesome . . . and B- even seemingly broken armies are beatable =]

I believe he is referring to the Daemons of Warhammer Fantasy.

In which case they are much more broken . . . sadly . . . and even harder to beat . . . but still doable. I've beaten Daemons once in about 3 or 4 games of Fantasy. Not particularly good, but better than not at all =p

But that's the beauty of that particular god. It's an aspect of the human psyché that the other gods can't quite encompass; self-loathing. And yeah, he wants his followers dead but the tip is not to tell them.

Slaanesh is the one I would most likely pick. Nurgle...disgusts me. Even though Plague Marines are powerful due to extra toughness...They are horrible looking monstrosities that I would not want to become. Khorne just seems...to evil IMO. He is too blood thirsty but reading about him is fun!

Tzeentch...have no clue how to say his name...I dunno...he does not interest me.

Slaanesh just seems like the way too go. Plus noise marines are very powerful...especially with Noise weapons!
