Hello!
A few of the master parts for the upcoming knight titan kits as well as some WIP shots. Expect pictures of the completed resin kits anyday.
Posed but still not detailed, note it has only 1 shoulder and 1 leg. Thats because the kit is modular and the parts fit on both sides:
Also note the parts here are simply tacked to show the shape.
Master Parts: (detailed and sent for casting)
Torso:
Head: (gaps were filled before being sent)
Weapon Arms:
Shield for the gun arm:
Shoulder/Upper Arm:
Waist:
Upper Leg:
Knee Pad:
Lower Leg:
Shin Armor:
Toe:
---------------
In the end the kit is 18 parts and stands right at 8 inchs tall. All the ball and socket joints mean the posing is pretty much limitless. Its made to fit on a cd sized base.
Pics of the cast version and posed ones very soon.

Yep, its a kit I do plan to sell on a limited run basis. Ill put you down on the possible "pre-orders", basically people that have expressed interest on wanting one before supplies are gone.

Yep it will be for sale on a limited run basis. Once they are sold out, they are sold out.
On a side note, basic "traitor" knights will be coming out around october. Basically upgrade parts to the bulk of the kit.

A note from my caster:
But here's another pic to tease you with... due to the potential demand, I'm making these molds as massive as possible. The sheer mass of material that will be cast creates thermolytic stress on the molds, and making them larger will help buffer against that heat. (i.e. The molds will last longer.)
Each piece gets it's own mold:[i]

Ok- at first I was worried when I saaw all the molds laid out- but seeing that last one with the mold box in the pressure pot I feel alot better.
Air bubbles are the bane of complex casting of this sort- so Im glad to see it shouldnt be an issue.
Also- if the thermo stresses on the mold are too much, try a resin with a longer cure time- they dont get as hot, and have the added benefit of giving more time to de-air the cast.

Howdy!
I preassure pot my silicon till it gells, then let it sit level overnight. It takes a full day to cure, then a second day to de-gas after I've pulled the masters out.
Air bubbles aren't too much of a problem as my techniques get the air bubbles to lift off the surface. Rather I get what I call casting "pimples". Those are created by air bubbles that are near the surface, but not on. These pick off with a fingernail, or a light hit with a file. I clean most of those up before I send anything out.
The torso of the Titan is the first time I've really noticed the mold get warm, and with propper release, 100% details every time. I use a Urethane Plastic, not the more common polyester resin. The plastic I use is inert after it cures. You should have NO reaction to it's touch or breathing. No chemical smell. As with anything, just wear a dust mask for particles when filing or sanding, but you should have no reaction to what little smell there might be. It has no odor after cure, so it won't smack you in the face when you open your package.
I'm here for technical questions if you have them... I also send a "wash-and-care" sheet with my products, that I'll post here when I can. Thanks again to everyone for your interest.

Primer the entire model with a metallic spray, and then wash it completely with Vallejo smoke. This will give it a good rutsy base to add detailing and the pilot's heraldry over.
How about a quartered livery of green and white?

Hello.
As with any “garage” project, there will be the occasional air bubble or casting pimple. These are unavoidable. I hand inspect every piece for quality, and do not ship any irregularities that I deem too difficult for the average modeler to deal with. Air bubble “foam” will be found where micro-bubbles did not coalesce to form a bubble large enough to travel out of the mold. Due to the massive nature of these parts, it was expected. These areas have been contained to the bottom-facing surfaces (e.g. sole of foot, armpit, chin, etc.). These will not be visible after priming and painting, but you can wipe a thin layer of glue over the surface to be sure. Matt put in an ambitious amount of detail on the piece. You will find the occasional micro air bubble at one point in the bottom facing edge of the “Heresy” Pattern shoulder and shin bumps, as well as one point on the hex-rivets. Just put a little CA on a pin, and apply. Casting “pimples” are points where an air bubble lifted off the surface (during the molding process) but is still close to the surface, created when cast under pressure. These are easily cleaned up with a quick scrape with a No.10 Xacto (always use caution when working with a knife), or a gentile hit with a file.
Notes:
- With any cast, please wash thoroughly in warm (not hot) soapy water to remove any molding chemicals. These may hinder assembly and/or paint adhesion.
- This is a Urethane Plastic, and by nature, will repel some paints and adhesives. The recommended adhesive is CA (cyanoacrylate) in conjunction with an accelerant (zip-kicker). This will create a near permanent bond.
- Use coarse sandpaper to scuff up the ball and socket of each joint for better CA penetration.
- Prime your work. I personally like the house-brand version of Rust-Oleum: American Accents or Painter’s Touch primer.
Please feel free to contact me directly with any technical questions, or Matt to place another order! Thank you for your interest in this project. Enjoy!
Yours,
Citizen Dave

Here are some more pics of the Knight Paladin. This is one of the test pulls I threw together. About one hour was spent cleaning up the casting "pimples", and another hour using a pin to CA fill some of the air bubbles. I left a few of the pits and gack as-is, to become battle damage, wear and tear, etc. ...I really hate to see showroom-new looking mecha that's supposed to be 3,000 years old. Sanded the joints, and in just two hours, I was putting her together. This is the raw material, un-primed, with a few lads from the 603rd C.O.D, 2nd P.D.F.:
And here are some pics of it with a coat of primer:
I was going for as dynamic a pose as I could. With the hip turned, the right foot planted and CCW on-guard, perhaps to receive another charging Knight. The head slightly tilted, trained on the opponent. The left toe appears to be lifting up, suggesting movement in the leg, lifting to take a step forward... (Sorry, I just think of these things when I build something. I love narrative… the subtleties have to tell a story.)

That's kinda what I'm thinking. The head for one is god awful, and the style around the whole thing is inconsistent. The blocky/boxy riveted torso doesn't seem to mesh well with the rounded studded shoulder pads and rounded legs.
The excellent detail all around the arms is great but the chainsaw blades on the CCW are just triangular blocks. It looks half finished on the chainsaw. The poseability is nice though, but it's not really the way I imagined it was going to turn out.
Not my cup of tea.

For those that don't like the head, to what I'm doing:
Magnetize the head area(I hate converting models I have only 1 copy of and can't really get anymore) so that you can swap them, then grab one of these and make a head more like the Epic version.

Good news is kits have been doing well.
Bad news is, this particular variant is going to be sold out soon.
Pics shortly of a nurgle one.
*edit* Oh, there is always the option to buy a paladin kit and simply request a head from one of the future variants, or simply, make your own to go with it. ;p

I had some new information to share...
- We will offer the kit as long as we can, until the molds burn out. If you need to make payments over time, that would be fine with me. That way we can lock you into an order for one or two! I would pull them with the other orders and set them aside for you.
- There has been some interest in putting together a Knight Household, so we’re going to give a $25 discount when you buy a second Knight. And a $50 discount on a third Knight. This would also be a good opportunity for groups/clubs to pool together. Get three Paladins, or one of each class!
- Someone had a request to take the bumps off the shins and right shoulder. They wanted it to look like the old-school Beakie Marines! Cool, huh? I can prep them for you if you need. Here is a pic of the modified parts:
- My Knight, with it’s dynamic pose, fits right on a 160mm oval base.
The one’s over at IronHalo.net ( http://www.ironhalo.net/store/catalog/) are really cool, but were not wide enough for me. If you had him standing fairly square, then 120mm might be enough for you. Just a heads up.
And personally, I really like the head. It has a cool Miyazaki-feel to it.

Since the head was a point of hesitation for some, yes, more heads.
Next would be arm/weapon options. What else can we put on the Paladin chassis? Did I see it have a Powerfist? Was the other an Inferno Cannon? You mentioned to me these were for the "Barron" class of Knight, but I think options to really gear out this first Knight would be cool, and allow people to personalize it more. Especially if the body is the same and you have new shoulders and shins to swap out, they'll have the same visual "feel" to them, but with different bling.
Keep the momentum going... rock it out!
P.s. Oh... I thought Nurgly things were Chaos!? I'm not familiar with all the Chaos/Daemons stuff, other than when they make my Tau go away... Can't keep it all straight.

Ok new options going to be released this month.
2 new heads. One more dark ages knight helmet and one more "cyber skull" like.
2 new armor options. When I say armor I mean the shoulders and shin armor. The new options will be smooth and trimed and then a layered plate armor like a tech marine.
3 new ranged weapon options including a projectile cannon, twin mini cannons and a heat cannon.
3 new CC weapon options including a power maul, energy lance, and buzz saw.
All in all there will be a ton of options. But like before, they will all be limited runs.

From someone who has purchased one of your first run models and is fairly excited to purchase future versions:
1) heads, definitely do some different heads, but I think you've got a handle on that.
2) Firearms: something that looks akin to a larger assault cannon would be cool. Old knight weaponry, from memory, were: a projectile cannon akin to a large battle cannon, a sort of larger multi-melta, the lancer had the energy lance, one of them had a missile launcher mounted on its back. Personally, I think the rotating multi-barreled cannon would just look cool.
3) CCWs: definitely do some sort of "power fist" style weapon. Perhaps, for originality some sort of "piston" style ramming weapon?
Also, a question: Will Trooper be willing to cast just specific parts? For instance, if I buy a second Knight kit when your next release comes out, could I purchase some of these new weapon/head options separately?

Yes, absolutely! All of these mentioned options will be available separately. Either pick what you want with your next Paladin, or add a part to the one you already have. That’s why I recommend pinning or magnetizing at least the (fore) arms, so you can swap them out as your Datasheet needs. Then again, you can buy several and mod them up permanently!
We’ve discounted the kit by $20 for those who didn’t want to get the original head, so most likely, that will be the price for the heads. The weapons will be sold individually, but can’t price those till I get a test pull done.

That's a great idea. Consider it stolen...
I'm scratching up two Vultures to go with my kit-bash Thunderhawk for that very reason. It would just look killer-cool to have the T-Hawk flying in flanked by escorts.
Having a pair of Knights would provide a good buffer in an Apoc game, spreading out the killy-fun.

I'll take and post pics when I get them...
Automatically Appended Next Post: Here's my Knight Paladin #2... Just bashed together, no details added.
My Space Marine chapter, the "Toxic Angels" are based on the old-school beakies. My kit-bashed Warhound is a Zaku II with a spikey right shoulder... so I wanted to make a Knight in that style. I cleaned the knubbs off the shins and left shoulder. Then, to match my kit-bashed Reaver, I added the AdMech icon to the right shoulder. (This is from the COD box, cut, trimmed and sanded till just the gears were left. Then plopped in hot water till it was taffy soft and drapped in place. Carefully work all of the edges down, without distorting any of the details or leaving a fingerprints in there.)
I took the blades from two CCWs and made one uber version. I just need to add one "tooth" to the very front to make it look like a viable U-turn around the front tip. Toxic Angels all have chain weapons, period. EVERYONE has a chain weapon, so my Knight needs to have an equally killy (nom nom nom) weapon. Would this be of interest as another option?
Here is the Sigma-6 buzz saw stuck onto the left over stump from the scavanged CCW.
Here is the Sigma-6 flame/torch. I pinned the buzz saw so the end can be swapped out.
Oh, the head for this guy is an old windup toy robot. It needs a bunch of work, but I was inspired by a "put a Bionicle head on there" comment, so figured I'd throw something out there for $#!t$ and grinns.
For a size comparrisson, here's a Stompa with Knight Paladin #2.

Excellent!
if you get it painted and posted with the month, you can enter it into the "painted knight" contest. The winner will get a set of weapon arms free
6 new weapon arms done.
Smoother armor with trim, done.
Cyber Skull Head, done.
Plated armor, started.
Knight helmet head, started. Automatically Appended Next Post: So, we are starting to take pre orders on the new and improved knight kit. After all the feedback, the thing the kit was lacking, was options.
Now, there will be ore options then you can shake a stick at.
You get to choose from the following:
3 different heads
8 weapon arms
3 different armor styles (the shoulders and shins)
Pics will start popping up this week before going out to the caster. Seeing as how the kit did when it had no options, I figure it will sell out rather fast, so pre orders are the way to go. No money is needed on pre order, and no pre order has to be made until you have seen the new options.
Just figured id let everyone know.

Mine arrived on Monday. It was shipped much earlier but USPS misrouted it to Ohio.
Anyhow, the kit arrived and I've managed to clean it up a little. Looks pretty good and as Trooper stated, most of the that youwould be used to seeing on a resin kit are actually small bumps on the surface of the parts. They're very easily cleaned off. There were some standard bubbles around what looks like may have been the pour points, but nothing beyond what I would expect from a "garage kit".
All in all I'm pleased with the kit and am looking forward to getting this assembled painted. Also looking forward to the new kit/parts, so I'll be watching this thread so that I can order another.

Yeah, my orginal plan was to scratchbuild a knight using the new sentinel crew compartment as the head since it includes a nice fully enclosed cockpit. Then I saw this kit. Comparing the sentinel body to the torso of this kit, it should fit just fine with the addition of a ball joint to the rear of the sentinel compartment.

Small update.
All the new weapon arms are done.
1 of the 2 new heads is done.
Bother new armor designs are done.
So, the new kit will have the choice of 3 heads, 8 different weapon arms (4 ranged and 4 CC) as well as 3 armor designs. *(studded, smooth with trim and layered plate)
Ive given all the parts to a friend to take pictures of today. (it sure is nice to work with someone at the 9-5 that doesnt care about actually working haha.

Ah yea, with the opinions on the head and armor style, the new options will be out within the week.
Each order will have the choice of 3 different heads, 3 different armor styles such as smooth and trimmed or layered plate like a tech marine. There will also be a total of 8 weapons, 4 CC and 4 ranged to choose from.
Due to the demand of the first kit, the new options are on a pre order basis. That way we (the caster and I) have an idea how much material we will need to keep up with demand.
We also do plan to start seling parts on their own. A good example is, say you bought the first kit but want 2 more new weapon arms, thats not a problem. Same goes for heads ad armor.
After this kit is fleshed out with all the options, the other knight variants will come out with justs as many of thier own options.
Oh and PM sent.

*edit* this is for the PMs and Emails ive recieved..
Ok people I need to be clear on a few things.
My kit has NO gw parts.
My kit is over 800 grams and is why its 150 dollars.
My kit now has 8 weapon options, 3 armor options, 3 head options and soon there will be more torso, waist and leg options.
In all there will be a total of 32 combos.
Again, I want to be clear, my model was scratch built with ONLY plastic card, rod and putty. I used NO gw parts.
Automatically Appended Next Post:
Also please note I do custom alterations now for peoples kits on demand. Check my site for pricing details and such but overall its generally not that much to alter a part or head to make it personal for the client wanting a kit.
I do sell worldwide with one of the lowest international shipping options around. And best of all, everyone that has ordered a kit so far has recieved it, even people across the world.
Question:
Do people want the option to magging the new weaopns?
It is very possible to go ahead and put the mag hole already in all the parts and provide the right size rare earth mags to be able to swap all the options. If people think its a good idea, ill start doig that now and including the mags with each sale.
16715
Post by: TrooperPX
At first I thought our kit was more expensive... But then I remembered our shipping rate. We charge only $5 for domestic shipping, but it costs us about $14 on average to ship, insure and track. That means our kits are really just four dollars different.
So it comes down to style. Do you want one that looks like an exact copy of the GW Epic one? Or do you want one that came from the creative vision of an artist? Personally, I'd like one that's never been seen before. What Matt came up with is just plain cool. I like it a lot.
We both offer to sell Internationally, so beyond our local core market, again it just comes down to style preference. Personally I think it’s great to have such a variety to choose from! My only concern is the waist weapons on the other seller's kit. They appear to be stock Heavy Bolters from a Razorback, with a Chimera wheel hub as the ammo drum. Cast-copying GW parts is a bit risky IMHO. That’s why everything as Matt said, in our kit, is scratch.

So, tiny teaser pic to give people an idea of what the new armor styles are. PLEASE keep in mind these are super WIP pics take awhile back with a not so good camera..
The layered plate will have a solid part at the top. Both will have alot of rivets. The shoulders are also getting the same options.

Ive had some camera problems but should have it worked out this week. The parts will be sent to the caster so when pics do go up, it will be of the masters and of the cast parts.

Still waiting for the new heads from Matt...
So here is another stick-on that I really like. The close-up camera shot makes it look larger than it is in person, and with a primer coat on, looks pretty sharp. Why not make the head as intimidating as possible?? Hocky goalies paint their masks... Nacho-libre does. Feedback at our Apoc game was two-thumbs-up. 8) And the Emperor loves skulls.

Hey guys, sorry I've been gone. Just got back from Afghanistan. I'm currently working on a vulcan mega bolter for my knight titan. Once it's complete I'll build him and then post pics. I really hope this thread stays alive. Keep posting picks of your titans. Even if they're not knight titans. TrooperPX, I would love to see some more pics of the titans from your Apoc game. Some of them look really original.

Hey Everyone,
Here are some initial pics of the vulcan mega bolter I've been building for my knight. Since it's already so far along. I'll walk you through building it. So far I've taken the chainsword that came with the big guy and removed the blade. Then I took the vulcan mega bolter from the IG Stormlord kit, along with one of the grill vents and an access door and added them to the front. After that I used the side sponsons from two Leman Russ Battle Tanks along with some plasticard to build the ammo magazines. A little more plasticard and some green stuff and I hope to be finished. Please, suggestions and comments are definitely welcome. Thanks

I can't tell though, because of the gumdrop bolts on the helmet... no offense, but those are gumdrops.

I think the confusion is people think your posts are me, posting kits for sale.
People please note that the 2nd kit he posted is not mine nor is it for sale. Sorry for any confusion people are having.

Post by: ironfather83
Hey Everyone,
Sorry for the confusion. I'm simply posting my progress on constructing this titan for everyone to see. I am not producing or selling them. I apologize again for any problems this may have caused. On a different note, I have contacted the original maker of this knight titan via email to see if he's still making/ selling them. If so, and Redstone doesn't have an issue with it, as this is originally his post, I'll post the sellers contact info on here once I receive a response that he is. If he's not making them anymore I'll let everyone know as soon as possible.

Hey Guys,
Here are a couple more updates of my current knight titan project. Unfortunately I didn't get nearly as much done as I had hoped. Anyways, here are three pics of his base. I'm going to convert the Chimera to a traitor guard vehicle. My goal is to have it look like the knight destroyed the vehicle, and is standing on the front of it lining up his next shot. I'll add more pics in the coming days.

Post by: ironfather83
Hey guys new update,
I've made some progress on the Knight Titans' base. My goal was to make it look like th knight had just killed a traitor Chimera. I think I've done that pretty solidly. I've done my best to make it look like one round hit the front of the track assembly, effectively disabling the vehicle. My goal was for the second round to enter the top of the APC, near the troop compartment, and exit near the rear portion of the opposite track assembly. Nothing makes armor look melted better than fire so I took a lighter to all the impact damage. What do you think?
PS: If my Knight Titan princeps drank before a battle, he would totally drink Captain Morgans.

Do-it-yourself head options!
At the last Apoc game, my club-mate once again bashed the Knight head, saying it's perfect for Chaos, but not for Imperial. Said it needed the cheek bumps off and some kind of grill plate. So I snapped off the head right then and there and handed it to him. I said, Joe, go for it.
So this is what he came up with:
There you go! If anyone wants a head like this for their Knight Titan, just say the word! It's in the mold right now, and I'll get a pic of the test pull a little later.
As a side note, I found another head option for the Knight... and I think I really like this one. If you recall, I stuck a T-600 head on one back in the Fall. So now, here is what the EOD 1/6-scale helmet from HALO looks like:
I'm liking this one so much, I've gone ahead and snapped off the Terminator head and the original head off my two "advertising" Knights, ground the neck ring down flush and glued the display mount flush to the front. With the display mount, I can have him look right and left! I'll take another pic of those when they dry.

The new upgrades for the Knight kits are going out this week to Trooper.
2 new heads. Very different then the current one that people arent fond of.
2 new armor style sets. Shoulder and shins shaved down smooth with trim like standard Imperial stuff. The other set is shaved down but made with layered plate armor similiar to a techmarine.
3 ranged weapons. A melta style, a twin autocannon style and a large bore projectile cannon.
3 Close combat weapons. A buzz saw, a power lance and a hydrolic ram.
Final thing is a missle pack that can fit on its back to turn it into the knight class with long ranged attacks. I cant recall the name off hand.
-----------
Like before tropperpx will be casting and shipping. Unlike before he will also be taking payment for our kit. That way people need not worry about me.
There are also a few custom parts made fro other people such as a power fist and an alternate cannon. Those will be cast as well but the originals will go to the clients as they will pay for the design, not a cast part. That said those parts once cast will go for sale.
Trooper and I have discussed making the kit completely modular. As in each customer can pick and choose what armor, heads, and weapons they want.
This will all be back on track next week.
So for those wanting one but thought you missed your chance, nows the time.
We may also off the ability to mag out your kit to switch weapons and such for various battles.

Post by: TrooperPX
As soon as I have the new parts in-hand I will be posting pics. That will give you a quick first opportunity to see the new options.
Then as time permits, I'll moc-up a new Knight body and use blutac to show you all of the different ways the parts can be combined together... ...making an easy to follow chart for ordering exactly what you want. After initial relaunch sales, the arm options and new heads will be offered seperately.
I used a heavy-duty coat hangar to pin my left arm kit-bash weapons on. With just friction, it holds on just fine, and can rotate along that same axis to guard in or parry out. I send a length along upon request so any arm can be swapped out. I'll take a pic for reference.
Stay tuned!

Trooper is spot on.
just to clarify, first, a knight isnt a titan techincally but is commonly referred to as one. Go figure..
Second, Tim is getting 2 of the new arms when they are out. Hence why the stuff is going out this week.
Finally, the new upgrade pack is pretty expansive. Its all the parts that were to be released months and months ago but delayed on my side. Trooper has always shipped orders out amazingly fast.

Thanks! Yea, just saw it in the clearance area and knew I had found something viable. I'm sure most 1/6-scale helmets would fit in the space, but everything else in the HALO series was too rounded, and made him look like a football player! The ST helmets might work, but have never seen one parted out off a figure, and figures go for $19+... too much just to rip the head off of for.

I went over all my old photobucket pics and gathered up these very old WIP shots of the parts.
Better pics will come after trooper gets them and casts them.
Head B: (very early on but very cylon/cyber skull like.)
Head C: (my fav again early on and now has a dome on its head and grill holes made.)
A few weapons:
Very early start on armor styles. Goes for the shoulders as well. One is smooth with trim. The other is layered plate like a tech marine.
There is also a plain smooth style with no studs, trim or armor plates.

I am sorry that I had to post the negative post out. I am probably the exception to the rule on quality from these two guys. The model that I received from them was great. The two arms that I ordered were new ones that he was offering and Redstarone has been in contact with me about the parts and he has had some personal problems in his life that have delayed the arms I ordered and I can understand this to a degree. I do honestly hope that everyone else has had better luck then I did and will not use my one bad situation to hold off ordering from them. The model looks great and with how the joints are done you can pose it an unlimited number of poses.

Their to scale.
I cant find were Trooper or Red specifically stated their size but I seem to remember them saying they were between 8 and 9 Inches. A Warhound stands at 14in. tall.
once I receive mine sometime next week I will let you know for sure.

The Knight Paladin kit that we offer comes in at approximately 8.5" (21.5cm) in height when assembled.
The FW Warhound is 10.5" (26.5cm) in height. Note: The paper-hammer template that you can find on the web is scaled wierd and is taller than it should be... coming in at 13+" tall.
The FW Reaver Titan is 18.5" (46.5cm) in height.
According to tracking, yours is already in Phoenix... so you may have it as early as Tursday!

Someone asked if a Dreadnaught torso would fit in the head space.
Here is a pic, and you can see, with the arm pins still there, it snuggs right in:
Here is a pic with the head extended on a neck "ring" so he can look a little to the side:
I just finished up another Knight core, so I can swap out (with Blu-Tack) and demonstrate the new head, shoulders, shins and weapon arms Matt was making. But as they have yet to arrive, I started monkeying around with another idea I had.
What if the Houses made "contruction" variants of the Kinght chasis? What about a super load-lifter?! Used to help move building supplies... or whole buildings; steady supports as they were secured; empty a hauler... etc. Then I remembered finding a Kenner Aliens Ripley Power Loader at a yard sale last year, and this is what I came up with:

Hi Guys does anyone wanna split a "Knight Household" Thats a SET of 3 Knight Titans.
Thats a big discount for each of us to get 1 Knight Titan.
It might be easier for each of us to pay seperately to the seller .
Dont know if he would ship them to different addresses if we paid the according shipping.. or if it would need to go to one house then pay addtional shipping to get it to each of our houses..
I am sure those details could be worked out..
Well anyway if someone is interested let me know..

Back on 5/22 (also when the first post's subject line was last edited), Matt claims to have put in the mail to me, all of the new head and weapon-arm options he had been working on. Sadly I have yet to receive anything from him. Without them in-hand, and without a tracking number to see where they are enroute, I cannot state with any confidence they will ever become available.
So I can only offer the "original" kit.

Yes, 5-22 was indeed a bad day for shipping. apparently a Black hole open somewhere over the state of Texas.

So here is my Knight in the Taros colors. This is the primary color palate dropped on, with nit-picky details and desert wearthing to come later. When fielded as a "Knight Paladin" he will have the Knight weapons and stand outside the Govenor's palace.
With modified kit CCW...
Kitbash CCW from GI Joe Sigma 6 Strike Duke set.
To maximize play value, I've begun to kit-bash WYSIWYG weapons to proxy this guy as a Warhound. The kit comes in at 8.5" tall, and the Armorcast Warhound is about 9.25" tall (with it's spikey back). A visually acceptable proxy that I can field in all my future Apoc games. Once you can't hide behind a building... it's a Titan.
Warhound option - kitbash Plasma Blastgun from FW piece scorred on eBay.
Warhound option - kitbash Infreno Cannon from GI Joe Sigma 6 Strike Duke set.
Warhound option - kitbash Vulcan Megabolter from GW Stormlord kit.
And then a few shots of my "construction" variant, with arms from the Kenner Ripley Powerloader. The Govenor's mansion is built into the side of a mountain, so I figure he'd need Tonka-Knight just for fun-fun-fun!
So, anyone elase get their's assembled and/or painted?? :?:

They're coming together well with paint... although I'm not a fan of the Halo heads. They're just that little bit too large.

On a side note, I've just scorred some OOP Sigma-6 Duke sets, so I can help people scratch some Inferno Cannons or Buzz-saws if they want to expand their weapon options. A third one looks honkin' enough to be an alternate Plasma Blast Cannon! Not the FW looking one, but evil-looking enough to proxy. These seem to be well received as a Warhound once you get the right weapons on them. I took them in to game Sunday and got lots of "oooos" and "ahhhhs" now that they have some paint on them.

I ordered mine on the 15th, so I'll post pics etc when she arrives and gets assembled! I'm probably going with Legio Victorum colors to match my 2nd warlord.
