I'm torn between the following:
- MUMAK! so awesome it deserves capital letters.
- Lizardman Engine of the Gods. Dinosaur + Rocks + Priest = woooo
- Grey Knight Terminators. The re-sculpt of these models was just the thing to get me back into the hobby years ago.
- Warwalkers. Fantastic plastic kit. Easy to assemble and looks great, too.
- Wood Elf Lords and Wizards. I love them all

@Boss 'eadbreaka:
Putting a terminator on a wolf just looks silly, he looks like he is going to crush it. Might as well put him on a unicycle.
Also, his fat hands means he looks like he will have trouble gripping the reigns, and when he does he would likely decapitate the wolf with his claws.

The direct Order Eldar Ranger, the one kneeling, I think is freaking awesome, and great fun to paint.
GK termies, as have been said.

I really liked the model for Interrogator-Chaplain Asmodai for Dark Angels too, shame he got removed from the latest Codex (?) I don't collect Dark Angels, but the model was pretty nice. I doubt he's in production now :(

It's a hard choice for me, as I think most of the un-converted models look great, as do many of the conversions that people on this fine website have done. I'll stick to space marines as that is what I have the most experience with.
Personally, I think that Chaplain Grimaldus for the Black Templars is the best looking Space Marine model of any type.
My honorable mention would be the current Chaplain in Terminator Armor. 100% righteous, hardcore, bad-ass, smite-you-in-the-face right there.

It's a toughy, but I'll have to go with the forthcoming Screaming Bell.
An impressive centrepiece for your army, and the sort of model which (combined with the rest of the new Skaven) suggests that the sculptors have finally realised a model can be a work of art as well. Pushes way beyond any other plastic kit in terms of it's animated look. The smoke billowing from the brazier, the demented Grey Seer riding it. To my knowledge, never before have GW managed such a sense 'it's real' with a plastic kit before, and possibly even with their metal.

I think these threads should have categories.
Its very difficult compare a Chaos Lord of Awesome on an Juggernaut vs some plastic Cold One Knights, but they are both amazing models.
So... what categories?
40k Single Man-sized
--Tough one... If i'm not allowed to vote for FW DKOK Commissar... Emperor's Champion?
40k Single Large (termy or bigger)
--Terminator Chaplain
40k Plastic/troops unit
-- Cadians box. Whilst they're mabye not brilliantly original or heavy with detail, IMO they add an unprecedented level of bits-compatability
40k Metal / Elites unit
-- Grey Knight Terminators
40k Vehicle/Monster
-- tough one...
Fantasy Single Man-sized
-- One of the many Elf lords (Snobby or emo varieties)
Fantasy single large (ogre or bigger)
-- Lord on Juggernaut
Fantasy plastic/troops unit
-- Chaos Warriors?
Fantasy metal/elites unit
-- 6th ed daemonettes, Cold one Knights, Pegasus Knights
Fantasy monster/Chariot/Warmachine
Lord of Change

Its very difficult compare a Chaos Lord of Awesome on an Juggernaut vs some plastic Cold One Knights, but they are both amazing models.
So... what categories?
40k Single Man-sized
--Tough one... If i'm not allowed to vote for FW DKOK Commissar... Emperor's Champion?
40k Single Large (termy or bigger)
--Terminator Chaplain
40k Plastic/troops unit
-- Cadians box. Whilst they're mabye not brilliantly original or heavy with detail, IMO they add an unprecedented level of bits-compatability
40k Metal / Elites unit
-- Grey Knight Terminators
40k Vehicle/Monster
-- tough one...
Fantasy Single Man-sized
-- One of the many Elf lords (Snobby or emo varieties)
Fantasy single large (ogre or bigger)
-- Lord on Juggernaut
Fantasy plastic/troops unit
-- Chaos Warriors?
Fantasy metal/elites unit
-- 6th ed daemonettes, Cold one Knights, Pegasus Knights

Nah, not really, if you've got several favourites put 'em all down! Oh, Forge World models are allowed.

Why must people keep bringing this thread back from almost certain lock-down? It was fun while it lasted, but Gezz.

Space Chicken of DOOOOOOOOOM!
Seriously, I love these things. I know they are silly but I still love them. Perhaps that's why I love them?

Belacor from Fantasy
SM Chaplain in Terminator Armour
Also there is an old Tz Sorceror from 40k which came with a familiar, very ornate robes with eagle head - he is excellent also. Automatically Appended Next Post: Edit - Sorceror from fantasy not 40k

My personal favorites, in no special order:
1.) Grey Knight Terminators
2.) Black Orcs - definitely my favorite looking troop.
3.) Ork Kommando Nob
4.) SM Chaplain in Terminator Armor
5.) Thunderfire Cannon. Annoying to build but I like it a lot.
6.) Necron Wraiths
7.) Tie between those two new Skaven bosses
8.) Orc Raider with Pig
9.) FW Ork Mega Dread
10.) Chaos Space Marine Lord 2

Surprised to see so many Grey Knights
I think they look too blocky

I thought they were awful when first released. I much preferred the older style with rune covered armour. But they've grown on me a lot since so that I'd happily get a set if I saw them at a sufficiently reduced price.

The best model is Forgeworld Orc Warboss on warbike.

XV9 HAZARD CLOSE SUPPORT ARMOUR
This my friends is the sole reason i've returned to serve the tau empire!
+1 For Grey Knight terminators and the grand master. They are awesome models and my GM has always made it's first bionic saves in each game, he's a trustworthy bloke to get the job done.
+1 For IG Valkyries. Very clean cut and made of awesomeness.
