Just getting into Warmachine and Hordes. Got a box of stuff in the mail. This P&M Log is my way to kick my but in gear and make sure these guys don't go the way of the Tyrandis... Bretonnians... British FOW... 'Nid BFG Fleet... Mighty Empires set... Planetary Empires set... THIS ONE I'll finish.
So first post. first P&M log, first Warmachine and Hordes stuff... kinda scared/excited. Feedback, encouragement and motivation (polite or otherwise) all welcome and keep it coming.
So I got a box of stuff last week when the Canadian dollar was doing good and it arrived today. Picked it up, sliced it open and tada!
(Woot! Images work!)
So I decided to start with the Trollbloods starter box and build them up. This was all done tonight and I was amazed at how easy it was to build a playable force. The models were all impressive, and had virtually no mold lines or flash so I was kinda taken aback (although pleasantly) and I'm looking forward to taking them out later this week to get stomped on.
First up was Impaler #1
Straight forward and easy, went together easily, pinned his one arm outta fear but I didn't for the 2nd guy and he's doing well. Over all the parts fit together really nice and the model is pretty awesome. Also, I love Dakka autocorrect, I didn't colour balance them and Dakka was all like, "hey, look at this" and so now these pics look like I know what I'm doing with the camera my mom got me for Christmas. (Thanks Mom *Thumbs up*)
Chief Madrak Ironhide
He's not actually the guy I wanna end up using, but he was in the box so here he is. Pinned his axe and I didn't line it up perfectly but it mostly works, may need to bulk up the gauntlet so that it looks more natural (can't see in the photo)
Troll Axer
This guy probably was the most problematic of the box set.
So his feet were larger then the inset of the base and therefore he would float 3" off the ground. Didn't want to build base up to him, so filed down the edges so that his toes hang over that inner circle. Also tried punching holes for his peg feet and in the end just widen the slot at each end and used that.
His right arm is connected to the torso, his left arm is separate and his hands are on his axe. This was a little annoying to line up and I didn't even try to pin it as I'd decided at this point that so far everything was sticking together pretty well. In the end I got it all together and wrist meet up with wrists so I'm happy.
Impaler #2
Easy peasy. No pinning, slight tilt on head, slightly different angle to spear, flipped quiver. All done.
So 1 night, not much really hard work and now I got the problem of no black primer handy so tomorrow will probably be either Grim Angus and Whelps or Cryx.
Opps, Almost forgot the staple "group shot"
Closing notes.
Paint schemes:
-I'm really torn on this as I've been playing around with lava painting with my mighty/planetary empires tiles and I'm tempted to try Lava trolls. Black bases with deep red mid tones and up to a brighter red for highlights. Then any spiky bits (dires) would start red and go through orange to yellow/white. Could make for a neat look. If I do that I'm not sure what I'd use for metals and clothing and such... and I'm not that great a painter so on the large skin areas it may just come out too stark contrasts (no experience with blending or even much with layers). Ideas/Advice?
-Cryx I was toying with the lava idea but decided no, if I do it, it'll be on the trolls. The Cryx I'm thinking a deep blue ( GW midnight blue is one of my favourite colours) with red instead of green in the glowing bits. This would be fun to try my hand at source lighting, Again I'm not sure what I'd do for the metals. The Cryx force is gunna be 'Jack heavy and I'm avoiding the plaguey looking troops. (Gorgers, Raiders and stuff like that look good though)
Bases.
-Cryx will either be lava or putrid water (like glowing green ooze flowing on black ground) and the trolls will probably be lava rock (basalt?) done with modelling sand done in deep red and wet brushed black.
-If anyone has a good product for putting bases and where to get it, Please SHARE!!!
Log. I'll snap photos as I work, not gunna take a whole lot of time out of doing the minis to photo it, but if you want more photos, or I'm doing too many, or wanna see something in detail, just ask. The worst I can do is tell you to go yourself.

Nice start on the Trolls!
I have similar experiences as you with the PP's quality of the sculpts, there is very little to no flash on the minis in general.
When painting the large skin areas I start with the shadow color which includes the a bit of the base color to ease the blending of layers. From there I just add the thinned layers to muscles and other raised areas with more of the base color added to shadow color. I often go with 3 mixes to next color, so color1 to color2 ratios 2:1 => 1:1 => 1:2 => 0:1. I bit of practice and the results are fine.
Looking forward in seeing these guys painted.

Firstly welcome to Dakka!
Even though this is in the really early stages I can't wait to see how this develops. As for painting ideas/techniques check out brush thralls:
http://blog.brushthralls.com/
They have a pretty good tutorial on how to paint a pyre troll. I am not sure if it is the exact scheme you are looking for but perhaps it could give you ideas, the tutorial is called,"Playing with fire." Hope it helps a bit and keep up the good work!

Fun day today. Braved downtown rush hour to get black primer, came back, sprayed trolls, quiver falls off impaler...
Then put together 1 deathripper, and then found out I ran out of glue... so back out there, get some glue (2 bottles, won't run out now)
More of the same. Cryx put together here.
Deathripper #1
Toe is kinda bent up, I'll fix that later.
Bone 'Jacks
I didn't bother showing as many photos this time, so here's the 2 deathrippers and the defiler.
They were kinda more annoying to build 'cause I had to bend the legs to get the vertical axis of the torso to be vertical.
And there was a little bit more flash than the trolls.
Deneghra
Don't really like the pose with her looking at the spear, but now I'm not sure how much I like this.
Slayer
One of the models that really made me wanna get Cryx (this and the Cankerworm)
Was going to put both arms up for a "combo strike" pose but the shoulders and fist looked kinda goofy in hand held trials.
So he's about to smack something down instead.
And group shot
Not bad, I can run through a game with both now!
(Here's my primed trolls) -pic taken in the dark with the flash
So tomorrow will probably be filling in a couple gaps (especially in the Slayer's shoulder spikes) and then going to play my first game (woot!) and unfortunately I won't be doing any work this weekend as I'm visiting an old school buddy outta town.
Ha ha ha, just noticed the planetary empire tiles in the back. They'll get done when I get stuck/have to wait for stuff with the new guys.

So for some more interesting stuff.
Didn't get out to play, weather did not agree. And only did a little bit of painting, experimenting with layering stuff (never really done it before) Turned out alright except for the last colour I did. I think I needed one more step in there. So I tried washing the really harsh edges with the last colour washified. The back turned out pretty good and I'm happy with that, so the belly might've been just to thick a layer. Next I'll do the hair up as flamey colours then work on the metal. I'm not sure what I want to do with the metal though: maybe black with only a little bit of metal highlights to look like blackened iron, maybe copper to have a brighter red... ideas anyone?
You can really see how bad it is on his leg. His chest looks a lot better and his belly is in between. Oh, and his quiver fell off when I went to start... And I knocked off the other guys spear when I sent to grab something... So that is fun. And the primer didn't stick to well (probably 'cause I did it at night, outside, left it out there and it rained. Totally optimal conditions)
his back turned out pretty good (though the picture didn't) I gotta say I think I can do this layering thing! I look forward to more trollish fun.
ps. Anyone have tips for how to fix those legs, maybe a black ink or wash? or will I be stuck with blotchy legs or repainting?

Great start. looking forward to seeing your stuff when its finished. I like the red skin for the trolls.

The legs are a bit hard to make out on the pics, but a wash of the shadow color might do the trick. Just apply it sparingly and don't let it pool, just a thin layer allover.
You could try to paint the metals by basing them on boltgun and then washing with devlan mud and another wash from the citadel set. That creates a nice dark metal with tin of the other color. My basic recipe for dark iron is devlan and ogre flesh wash over bolt gun. Just some highlights needed to make it shine. You can see example of it here in my squire's boiler.

So nice weekend, long drives, all done and good. Tonight was a little painting, did the hair in the middle of playing with the big leather areas. I was looking to have a more off white finish, but started too dark I guess. The highlights are too harsh too... I guess that's why it's still learning. Pics
So I read the tutorial for photos and they came out a little better. Dunno what else to write. I like the hair, not sure about the gray area. Soften the blotchy bits on the legs with a black ink, worked well to redeem 'em. I think the next time instead of starting gray, I'll start brown, go bone, than white. Tomorrow... hmmm... maybe some more cloth or maybe the barrel.

Well, that's a longer break than I wanted. Still learning how to take photos, so if someone can explain how to fix white balance post photo that would help alot (due to lighting and long exposure I get a yellowish tinge, don't know how to fix and auto fix is doing alright but not great)
As for what progress got made this time: Fix the highlighting of the large gray areas and painted some other areas that are gunna be gray including hand wraps and some cloth below the bracers. The straps are gunna be leathery coloured and that'll probably be the next bit. Anyway, below are PICS!
BEFORE
BEFORE
AFTER
AFTER
Angle changed but I think you get the idea that the highlights are a lot subtler and white as opposed to an off white.
I like it a lot better and I guess I gotta remember that less is more, especially for the final highlight. (I did the last colour to heavy for the red, then for the grey, so I hope I've learned now!)
I like how his turned out, but the photo over emphasizes the highlights. Anyway, there is a lot of smooth texture in the wraps and I like how it looks.
The neck highlights are better and you can see the hand bindings and the feet bindings.
Coolest shot but doesn't show much of todays work. The underside of the left arm, the left hand wraps, the redo of the back highlights and the skirt (?)
So, like I said, leather straps tomorrow (after Glow in the dark minigolf!) and then maybe I'll do something about the nails (toe and finger) I started doing a grey to black (I was thinking ash) starting gray at cuticle but I don't know. Opinions? we got black, red (dark or light), orange, something radical like blue? I guess ours are just a little lighter and shinier than skin tone... so would a red with an ink work?
Also, HURRAY for plastic heavies in warmachine!!!!!! I love helljacks and I'll probably get a reaper now and maybe magnet up so it can be a 2nd slayer. (or corrupter depending on rules)
um... so I'm still hoping that people are reading this and can give advice/direction, but even if no one is, at least now I have something that will keep reminding me to GET STUFF DONE! (This weekend is a painting weekend.)
Also, I am really starting to hate the crappy job I did of priming and the amount of metal showing just from me handling it when painting it. gunna really havta seal it... and not screw that pu and ruin all my hard work!

Good to see that you made some progress with the impaler.
One thing that might help with the white balance is to change the background to some slightly darker color than white. Your camera is now confused as the light reflecting back from the white back ground is really bright and the fig is dark and it cannot find good balance. This is why I take pics with light grey back ground.
You could do the nails as a variation on the skin color to keep the troll in warm colors and the clothes and other equipment cool colors. It would create nice contrast. Skin color highlighted with bone or some other warm off white?
Just keep the pics coming, some of us are following you. I haven't had any comments to my skorne plog after the last 3(?) posts but the some people check it. It just takes time and energy to give feedback and I for one just don't like to add posts without giving some meaningfull or opinionated comments.

Leather work. Turned out alright. Really liked the bracers and chest straps. The bags were good except that I, again, put the layers on too heavy so I had to wash (ink in this case) to recover the bags from garish highlighting.
Enjoy. Looking forward to a lot of painting tomorrow. I'm getting pissed off at that primer 'cause I've been putting black on those shiny spots everytime I have it out and, well, you can see how that is going for me. Anyway, next will be the stitching on the kilt, maybe leather on spear and the spear head metal as a test for what I want for the rest of the metal.
Also looking for profile pic... hmm....
He he he, what the soviets should have used as propaganda

The leather parts look good. Some pros use the highlight and then wash to get nice results so it is not unheard of.
You could try to attach the fig to a empty can or something to avoid touching the fig while you are painting it. This would preserve the base coat. I have an empty pill bottle for the 40mm based figs and the small bases fit on top on used citadel paint bottles.

I've seen some pro painters do something similar with poster tack and
whatever cylindrical object would fit under a model. I suppose I should
switch to that some day, but I need to have a bunch of them to facilitate
assembly line painting.

Thanks for comments, I am seeing a HUGE improvement in my painting and photos 'cause of 'em and thanks again!
Today I didn't do a lot of painting but still more than a weeknight. The impaler is pretty much done minus letting the glue on the base dry and then dry brushing it with black. For the metal I decided to keep it simple stupid and just metal with ink. Maybe later I'll get ambitious and try learning NMM. but for now, it works.
so 2 batches of photos, first was during the day so I had to try and play with settings and they ended up too red after Dakka auto correct. (Didn't process them as they were just a little overexposed and I thought that Dakka would take care of it.) The second batch was later at night and they are fine.
[Hey, the first ones don't have the quiver, just noticed that too]
Without further ado

Leather you saw before (snakebite + chestnut ink, shakebite again), barrel is just a dark brown with chestnut ink, wood on spears is a dark brown with chestnut ink. (Love that chestnut ink, sad if they don't make it anymore, hafta learn the equivalent wash I guess. Went with black + red with bone feathering for the fingernails. Still kinda just looks like the metals showing though. :(

Dead sexy! The base needs a dry brush (heavy) of black to make it look more like volcano rock but besides that! The front arc is marked between red and redder.
Besides that, once the base is done, some more sealer (it's already got a coat) and than 1/4 trolls done.
Next will be... Dunno, axer, chief or other impaler? votes?
Also, civ 4 is the bane of my painting.
Holy crap, I just made the connection between Malfred the guy giving pointers and comments with the whole pokeminis PLOG that I've been following like 3 times a day (well, there's not much to do at work, that's why its like 3xa day).

Um, no need to follow it 3x a day, I only update on days when I get around to painting.
And the stuff isn't nearly as nice as your trollies.

Looks good. The metal areas are fine, except I would fix the pooled ink from the spear tip, it is visible in the pics taken from the right.
I don't see the need to try NMM, you can have similar or better results with the metallic paints by using inks and thinned paint washes to control the brightness of metal. This way you get much nicer finish IMO.
Paint the axer next, it is one of the best sculpts of the Troll line, I have pondered on getting it just for painting as I have no time to paint another faction of Hordes to army level, but the fig is so nice I really want to paint it.

Yo, so Sunday I went to FLGS to get a first game/demo in Hordes and Warmachine, and I showed up a little early to look around. However I forgot to change my clock so I had a lot more time than I thought and someone wanted a game of Warhammer so my bloody peasants went stomping on some elves before I got to play my first games of Hordes and Warmachine. I love my peasants. Anyway, for the Hordes and Warmachine, I got to play against the Khador starter box. The trolls did good and got a lucky crit slam with an impaler into the warcaster and follow up with axe and spear left Scorcha on the edge to be finished off. So the trolls are pretty straight forward and I lood forward to getting some more games in with them. The cryx is a little harder to handle and the Khador player remember some more and I got trounced in the second game. Denegra's a little more tricky and I really didn't understand how tough Khador is and how fragile Cryx are. Also Scorcha's feat is nasty. That's that for now. Progress in painting has been made today!
The axer is awesome so I went with the suggestion and he is next. Got flesh done, hair, and the base colours of the axe. The axe to be washed a few times to cover up the boundary between layers. I decided to try a red blade, don't really know why, but its along the same colouring as the skin. don't know if I 'll keep it. what do you think?
Pics

So final points for this...
I would like feedback on:
- the axe (keep it, lose it, try this...)
-Cloth colours. The impaler was really hueless with just greys and browns. I was thinking maybe a olive green this time but that would seem weird with the base and skin I think, I'm really partial to dark blues with dark reds, but that might be too much colour compared the impaler... I don't wanna do black as I have NO CLUE on shading/highlighting it...
-Armour. There is a lot more than on the impaler, any ideas or improvements for it this time.
This went a lot faster and smoother than the impaler and I didn't have to try and recover my painting. woot for improving! thanks for the help!
ps. Prince of Persia is distracting, Kiss Kiss Bang Bang is awesome and don't forget to spay and neuter your pets.
pps.Oh yeah, taking time off and visiting back home this weekend, so not much will get done, and I'm hoping to get a game or 2 in tomorrow...

The red blade in the axe looks ok, it gives nice effect together with the skin. It's not something I would do, as I like my figs to be more on the grim dark side of things.
I would also keep the cloth similar to the impaler. It would help to make the trolls to look coherent and part of the same group on the table. The are so diverse looking force when all of the line is considered I would keep the cloth color similar to hold em together.
For the armor you could try to paint some of the plates with copper or brass color. This can be done with washes (brown/ flesh instead of black) or with brass base coat and then same washes as with regular steel armor. That way you would get some more variation to the metals.

So a week of nothing. Played a game last Thursday and got another lucky win against a Skorne starter box. The caster (freddy kreuger) came out to try and get Madrak down but couldn't quite do it. Then the only beast I had left (a impaler) came stomping in and got really lucky. Needing 12 to hit and a 16 or more to kill and managing both to 1 shot him before he danced away.
So I got a lot done today on the axer. the only thing left is playing with the metal, highlighting the spots on the shoulder, the top and bottom of axe and painting the little whelp in the bag.

(I took the drip off while taking the pictures)
I was having a bad time with my hand and shaking a little and it was annoying but it wasn't too bad. Some parts I wish I did better. (especially the leather bits) but all in all not bad.
So for the metal I plan on going over it with a light metal for the large flat areas (like the back) to smooth the colour, and to highlight the edges and the rivits. The axe I think I'll highlight the edge of the blade than wash again. The gold I think needs to be darker and maybe a bit reddish. (Anyone have a suggestion for that part?)
So what to do for the whelp? I was thinking a red - orange skinned whelp.
So as you can see I agreed about the cloth and I tried the different washes for the metal on the bracers and axe.
I had screwed up the axe trying to do a red metal wash that came out barbie pink, so I had to start over with it.
Ahhh, I'm no longer a 'bloody peasant'

Quick little update. Put some colour on top and bottom of axe, did a little more to the metal. Still need whelp and base.

And I just saw that I got metal all over his one hand... oh well.

Post by: Metsuri
He is starting to look nice, the metals need still some tidying around the waist.
The ax could also use some kind of lining on the border between the gold and blade. The different parts are at the moment too close to each other.
Hope to see him finished soon.

More impaler goodness. hair and 1/2 leather (plus chickens!)
That's right, chickens! I realized the "sacks" tied on its waist are actually plucked and cleaned CHICKENS!!!! wow, I feel like a fool. Oh well, the other impaler wrapped his chickens in leather (he's into that kinda stuff) while this dude doesn't mind a little dirt and blood getting on his snack food and prefers it ready to gobble up (down?) whenever he's peckish!
Fire hair, standard at this point. leather - based, inked, bring back almost to base. (chickens were started the same but flesh tone and flesh ink after leather base and ink)
wood base darker brown + chestnut ink.
Spear has green tassles (base coat only) and will be there to show previous kriel/break up colour scheme so I can tell the 2 impalers apart.

You totally see chickens in that last one.
Crap, I totally forgot to give him eyes on his eyeballs ... fixed now.
Next - highlight leather, detail barrel, (oh look, forgot his stubble!), start metals.
Input desired - metals, what to do (besides standard metal + black ink) I kinda liked the ogryn flesh wash on the axers bracers but only after I inked it, still don't know for sure though. Also was pondering stone spear heads?
-Who next? There are whelps and madrak primed. As I don't know what to do for albino still, I'm leaning whelps (plus the awesome cuteness of whelps lol) and there's grim angus un-primed too. I might be getting a blitzer and/or a mauler this weekend too. This would be about the limit of my trollbloods for awhile (though I want to get a bunch more stuff, there are still Cryx waiting, MkII is coming and there may be Nomads from Infinity in the new year *raise eyebrow here)

The trolls have nice details on them don't they The fig looks good, I would go with similar metal style as with the previous two to avoid too much variation. It could break the cohesion of the army's paint job.
The whelps and Grim are nice models, I'm not a fan of pMadrak fig. By painting one of the warlocks you would have a fully painted battlegroup on the table.

Just a little more work, metal is bugging me. I think from now on its gunna be -base metal, black ink, a wash for colour. and apparently I was on drugs or something when I was doing the cloth 'cause I missed his arm bands on his left arm at the elbow... and the trim on his waste but that one is small. So metal, touchups and details. Almost done!
I only got a little done 'cause I ran out and got some stuff, like a new lamp, so I don't have to use my reading lamp to paint and stack boxes to get it at a good height. New bendy army lamp yeah!

Those whelps look like small imps next to the impaler in their bright red skin.
So which one is it next the Mauler or Blitzer?

does that answer your question?

Yes, it does.

Looking for some direction on how to paint a bottle like the one the whelp is holding.
Besides that, the whelps are moving along. 2 done, 2 more almost done, 1 primed. After that I think I'll tackle Madrak as an experiment in albino colouring. (I think I'll go gray for skin tone and keep in dark) As a reward for finishing my starter box and a complete warband, I'll do the Mauler
And a little fan service....
Ahhh... the whelps are so cute!

Check out this tutorial in CMON. It has some nice pointers how to paint these translucent items.
I like the whelps, they look cool and fit to the army. I was not a fan of painting them all in different skin tones, and your figs prove the point.
17720
Post by: Deminyn
Yup, the whelps are done except for 1 thing... the bottle. But that's for another day.
Poor boy in the back row, got blocked by my bane bottle.... I'll get him a shot just for himself to make up for it. I like him.

Work has been a bit frustrating lately, so I'm not getting that easy going feeling and the painting is suffering a little for it. I'm hoping tomorrow is calmer and I'll tackle that bottle properly.
edit: There he is!
I tell you, I get 1 day a week where the humidity is less than 90%. I forgot that I'm gunna try to play tomorrow, so maybe no painting tomorrow. And hopefully no loss of paint on the unsealed guys.

Post by: Deminyn
So I was delinquent for more than a week... kinda in the dumps with the start of winter I guess...
So I finished that bottle and the whelps are done!

None of those are great pictures but you can see I kinda pulled off the effect of light in the bottle. The tutorial in CMON that Metsuri suggested was great.
So I started Madrak. I decided for my albino lava trolls I'm going with grey skin tones. To help tie the albinos into the larger warband, I'll be painting the robes of Madrak in deep red tones. Basically the inverse of the previous trolls.
I'm going back to my roots on painting metal with a heavy and dirty drybrush. I'll try ink followed by washing and see how it turns out. The scrolls tubes will probably done in wood with metal end caps. All stones will be red/orange in colour (may try that object oriented lighting or whatever its called). I started off a little heavy on the layers, (I blame my week of not painting and skill fade) Anyway, I'm not dead, just a little sad.
oh, and my axer broke in half and I pined him back together. And I lost against some Khador... my mauler got trashed in his debut without doing anything. I need to get better on guessing distances to avoid being charged.

Nice choice on your albinos.
I went with olive for mine since everything else has dark skin.
4657
Post by: Metsuri
Madrak looks good! The red robes bring much needed warmth to the fig and the gold metal areas complement it nicely.
Are you going to keep the plates surrounding his head dark? Currently they frame his head nicely and make it the natural focal point of the mini.
The bottle on the whelp looks nice too, from what can be seen from the pics.
17720
Post by: Deminyn
Well, Dakka just deleted my previous reply... so I'll try again.
I like the idea of keeping those plates dark, but I need a little guidance on what to do. If I went for black base, what do you edge with? Gray or blue? harsher maybe with a really light white?
edit: Hey, my flag was Canada for once! Never remembered to say something to a mod about that... and it was just this post, and I've posted from this computer before too... weird.
Edit: Not a whole done. Leather and wood got base and ink, still need to re establish the base, than highlight (may just be a highlight as its really small areas.) When I was looking at the pictures, I kinda answered my own question when I noticed how the light was hitting them. I'm gunna do black, with the horizontal layers just a slight bit of grey, than some harsh edges. So here is the pics.

C&C welcome

Well, here's tonight's progress. I tried source lighting from his hand, but I don't think I really got the brightness of the source, so it just looks messy. Unless someone's got some great tips or tutorial, I'll probably just undo it and cover it all up. Leather done, gems done, plates done (black, than the flats done in dark gray, than black wash) started base.

rawr.
recently it's been a pet peeve of mine cruising the forums that, in Warhammer Fantasy, everyone seems to have forgotten Brets completely. I love my Brets and they are still playable, definately still mid tier and competitive. Why does everyone forget them?
edit: Things noticed from the pictures after posting them: Dust on robes and little bit stuck to them, cleaned off now, the hand did not do the lighting right at all. The neck plates are a lot darker than the pic let's on. You can't really tell but his arm veins are slightly red too.

Christmas Break was alright. Long break from painting but I'm back and restarted painting. I'm trying to finish off the Trolls I got (Mauler, Angus and Blitzer) before Febuary is out. So without further ado. Madrak done (minus sealant) and first layer of skin tone.
All I did was tone down the overdone pink from his hand thing with a couple black washes. Looks acceptable now.

All this needs to get done 'cause Infinity Nomads are coming in soon, and Malifaux Viktorias will be close behind... Not to mention the FOW British Motor Company after that... and the 40k Tyranids that are sitting in a box waiting to see if the new codex is going to be usuable. And the WM Cryx that I got with my Trolls (I'm still stumped on them, which doesn't encourage me to bump them up on the list.)
Also, I might be doing a black wash on it after my brother suggested keeping him black. I want him to still be read, but the wash might be cool.

The skin looks good, but the model lacks some contrast. It now seems a dark and the shapes are a bit lost.
I would do the rocks on the skin with some light color to get some needed contrast on the fig. That along with light colored nails would probably fix the lack of contrast.
Nice work so far on the mauler.

Nice work on the Mauler, the lava rocks on his back nicely light up the model.
Angus is suffering from the green pants and the bright red shirt. You don't have those colors in your army and they really don't fit there. If you replace the bright red with the same hue that is on Madrak's robes and give him similar painted pants or use a bit darker gray on the pants that would work.
You have a nice selection of colors on your trolls, now just stick with em to get nice and coherent force.

Got a good start on Grim Angus. Got leather, some cloth, skin done. Still need to do metal, some more cloth and that'll be about it.
Looking for ideas on how to do the entangling gun (the pistol) and shirt/pants/tabard... I was thinking red for the tabbard 'cause its pretty light on the red currently. Maybe keeping the shirt and pants black.
The difference between 1&2 is a sepia wash on the bedroll as it was looking too much like his skin tones.
I went with a kinda army green for the doo dads and holster. Thought it turned out alright.
And the main body of the Blitzer is primed.
And I'll have Infinity stuff by the end of the week. And Malifaux should come in this week too. New stuff overload, but it should last me pretty much the year.

I think it would look good with brass/ gold casing and rest in gun metal. That way you would have visually more interesting gun than going with all metal. The official mini is quite nice in this IMHO.
Nice start on the Grim, cant wait for your take on Malifaux. My resurrectionists arrived last Friday, but I'm not starting painting them until I have 35 points of Skorne painted. Still 9 figs to get to that goal.

So I started the blitzer, and its annoying, let me tell you. I like the model but it comes in so many odd pieces that I had no clue how it all went together. On top of that, there is no way I'm trying to paint it when its all together. So I'm stating on the Blitzer proper, without the Pyg ace or gun. Even then, he doesn't stick on the base well (the peg or with stick tac) so he fell twice while I was painting and broke his hand off... so I gave up and started holding him proper which is why there is paint missing. Besides all that, I look forward to finishing him! Then my Trolls are done (for now) and I'll be moving onto the Infinity stuff I built over the last couple days.

Ohyeah, I tried putting paper infront of the lamp and bringing it more to where the camera was to make sure the whole front of the model got light, but I think it was too harsh...
And in case anyone was burning for Infinity updates...

I'm waiting for some resin industrial style bases so everyone is stic tac'd in the mean time so I can play Friday (yeah!) I didn't get creative with anything except a couple zonds. The transductor zond (front right) is doing a hard right turn which required sawing his left leg and bringing the wheels closer to raise the left side of the body. The Reaktion zong (back left) I tried to get a dug in and braced to fire look. And the Salamader was a pain in the toosh trying to get the ammo feed hooked together. (If you ever have to build one, THINK AHEAD and don't bend it until you have a REALLY good idea of what you want to do. Otherwise your 2 belts will end up like my belts... The only thing I haven't built 100% was the spectre sniper, I left his gun off so that I can paint him easier.
PEACE!

Got a little more Blitzer done. 1 more session and the main body will be done and I can then worry about the rest of him. So the trolls are almost done! My Infinity and Malifaux got primed over the weekend (wow <80% humidity, had to use it while it was here) so once the Blitzer is done I'll be pounding onto the next project!
The rocks didn't turn out as well as the Mauler's so I had to give 'em an orange wash and now they are acceptable.
Got to play 2 games of Infinity and got beat both of them. We were playing the game pretty wrong on some shooting stuff really makes it hard to say how it would've gone if we were playing right. but I also need to rethink the list and how the game is played. Unfortunately my TAG exploded (literally) in my hand before the game and he didn't get to run rampant...
any way, get an eye out y'all. soon we'll see something besides trolls on here.

Got the bug for some reason to make a multi room, mutli level intact building. Using corrugated cardboard as I'm outta practise. I may get better material for the next one.
Concept. (Done in Google Sketchup)
First floor main walls done.
This isn't coming together well. Good enough so that I'll finish it, but cardboard is really a bad material to work with. Next time I'll either use some of the cardstock I got (worried about the strength) or splurge and get some foamcore, chipboard or something.
Blitzer will get done soon, I 'primed' all the extra bits today and started the base.

honestly, I haven't sprayed that much in a long long time and I thought my ventilation was adequate... *couch*hack* I don't think so anymore. Or maybe that pizza just isn't sitting well.
What a nomad will be looking at
What I'll be looking at
Roof removed
2nd floor modules removed
Currently there are some interior doors and that's it for detail. Not sure how I'm going to do this up but I think I'll be adding some windows and doors by paint or drawing. Anyway, I took a "look around" in the Sketchup model and its a really neat tool for checking LoS and stuff. That main pillar got token out for 2 reasons; 1 I didn't wanna bother, and 2 it blocked LoS from the left open area to the right stairs and balcony, which seemed kinda lame that someone could sneak in the building without the sniper position ('cause that's what I made it for) being able to do anything about it.

Don't know why I got obsessed with this, but I got Google Sketchup and Pepakura Designer both free online and started playing with designing and building my own paper terrain. The first piece, dubbed "Test Box" only took maybe 2 hours start to finish, 1/2 of which was learning the software and finding textures and editing them. I'm no photoshop master (in fact, I don't even have photoshop) and I'm no Sketchup pro (only got it yesterday) but it was pretty simple to make a box in Sketchup, then open it up in Pepakura. My only real grip about Pepakura is that it only deals with closed 3D shapes. So if you want a pattern, like I did, which includes interior walls, you have to build the 3D already partially unfolded. Which then means Pepakura doesn't recognize those already unfolded edges as closed edges which means you have to manually add tabs and you can recombine edges that were pre-unfolded to make them fit better on a piece of paper... anyway, here's my very first, design to build, paper building. Too many days without an update.
Made a couple small foam trays for Hordes stuff.
Clean up resin bases for infinity stuff.
Painting to commence soon.
Automatically Appended Next Post:
So I've started Infinity. I'm quite intimidated by these guys 'cause:
1. They are crazy detail and thin (as in, not heroic like GW or the Trolls I was doing from Hordes)
2. I'm using somewhat stock colours which includes blacks and whites. Neither of which I got a lot of experience with.
3. And I've never done black lining which I think will be huge for these.
Anyway, after touching brush to model on one of the Remotes, I had no idea of how to proceed. So I put him down and picked up the interventor. I've blocked off the colour, then I washed the white and brought it back with a near white gray. I'll highlight with full white soon (I hope my gray was gray enough that the white actually highlights it.) The hair was red, then orange, then red wash, then orange trying to highlight along the sculpted strands. That was fun. Anyway, I hope these help show off the model and how amazing it is. I'm really looking forward to playing with her.
I just held it up to my monitor and that's at like 200% zoom.
PS. First time painting breasts (he he, boobies) and they were actually kinda annoying.

Not much painting done over the weekend. Got some time in Saturday morning but most of the weekend was used gaming and then cleaning. I got in 3 games (A lot for me) including Grim Angus' first win.
For the Interventor, I did the white highlight and then some work that I should've done before painting but didn't. The face was a little miscast so I took the dremel to it to remove the excess and I cut the slotta and put pins in and drilled the resin base she'll go on. I also primed all the other bases.
Didn't really have time to set up camera so here's a hybrid pic of flash/no flash. hopefully it gets the idea across.

So, some more on the Clockmaker, the main armor is done, next will be his black suit then his pants probably. I'm really liking how he's turning out. Originally I was going to do the trim of the armour in orange like the standard paint scheme, but it looked to awesome like this. There's also something new in the background.
I took Mortenebra against Grim Angus for a little fun. The Reaper had some fun pulling the bodyguard out of the way for the Seether to charge in. Obviously playing against yerself is no fun, but I'm looking forward to getting Morty out for a rumble. Mind you, if the Impalers had managed a crit slam, the blitzer and grim probably would've pounded on Morty and it may have gone completely the other way.
Other stuff, went skiing for the first time in a decade or so... good times. And went skating on the canal too.

Yeah, got painting after a couple days of not painting.
First off, the face isn't even close to done. I was getting near time to finish painting, so I through flesh ink on it before stopping. So that is a messy inking just to lower the tone of the flesh. Tomorrow will be highlighting it back up into what should actually look like a face. If anyone has advice on how to do a guy's lips so it doesn't look like he's wearing lipstick, but still stands out (as in, not flesh coloured)
And apparently I took out of focus pictures on the last 2... today just isn't my day. I like how the pants turned out except for the right thigh (his left thigh) may need to wash that down a little.
C&C always appreciated, hope everyone is enjoying the Infinity stuff. I gotta say the models are amazing. The pants look good, all the folds look natural.
After I finish Mr. Clockmaker, next up will be the Sniper.

Post by: elfboy
For lips, try adding a tiny bit of orange, brown or red to the mid-tone of his flesh. Only apply to the lower lip and give it a highlight of paler flesh if you can. This is how I do it, but it's fiddly as all nuisance.
4657
Post by: Metsuri
One way of adding color to the lips would be adding a dark red diluted to wash like consistency. That will bring some color to the lips, but the original color shows through.

Post by: Deminyn
So I finished up the Clock maker (yeah me!) and blocked in colours for the Spektr Sniper.
So he turned out alright, I added a little gray when I was working on his flesh so he's kinda ashen (I was tested in preparation for my Malifaux stuff) Also, do to a comment elsewhere, I'd like some feedback on the white areas.
Spektr, Doing the gun seperate as it's kinda blocking his chest. Both are kinda annoying to paint as the one point of contact in the blue tac let's them wobble a bit when I'm painting. May buckled down and get some sort of clampy mc clamperson deal to hold them. Besides that, I love that in the future, camoflague is therm optic and you can run around in bright orange shirts!
Also, I love his skull mask deal.

To improve your white you need to focus on the transition between pure white and dark grey a little more. The colours you're using for the white are spot on, but your shading lines are very heavy and done blend smoothly into the bright white.
Try using some very pale grey to emphasise those areas that aren't as deeply cut, like the curve of his corset-like armour (which I think is pretty nifty). To get white to look good on miniatures it has to be a pale other colour, like grey, with larger areas of pure white highlight that you'd normally apply.
I haven't got any examples to demonstrate what I mean at the moment, unfortunately since I rarely work on white-heavy models.

So this came in the mail today!
To the left you can see the card for the substitute for my convict gunslinger for Malifaux (or to replace Hans)
Alright, so waaay too long without a post on here. I built that angel tonight but by the time that was done, it was too late to start painting too. So here is the last work I did 2 weekends ago before my hiatus started that I didn't post.

So Descent is a cool game. Warmachine is fun. Sushi is good. I'll be getting back to daily painting starting tomorrow (I swear) I'll point out that the reason my hiatus started was that I can't get in the mood to paint if I'm in the middle of arguing on the internet, and that's what I was doing last monday... and it just carried on from there. So I'll avoid rules arguments online until I finish up at least a couple guys.
On another note, starting with the next mini I do (Zondbots probably) I'll be trying to speed up the process at the cost of a little quality. I really wanna get this Infinity stuff done, then finish my Malifaux, 'cause then I have to do the new Trolls that are on the way and the Cryx that is slowly building up. Also, that angel will probably end up a birthday gift, so it will interrupt the painting plan some time in April.
And last bit of news, I'll most likely be heading over to England in the fall, so that'll probably interrupt my painting routine. It kinda puts me further in the mood to paint like a crazy man; the future is always a little uncertain and intimidating.
Peace y'all

Here's zondbot #1 block coloured. Took awhile to figure out how I wanted to do this, still not sure if I'm happy with where the colours are.
Opinions welcome and encouraged.
I forgot orange on the circle on the fin.
The orange on the knee I'm kinda thinking about beyond that, expect a lot of shading in joint areas with dark.
Zondbot #2 arm and face are a little different, but this is kinda the test colour scheme for him too.

On a side note, receive a stupid amount of stuff in the mail today. Prepare to see the numbers in my sig grow significantly in the next couple days.

Not a real update, just a quick report.
The numbers in my sig just grew by a large factor. Currently the painting of the zondbots is on pause until I get some of my new stuff taken care of. I've built the Krielstone units and UA (at least, they are all together except the actual stone, none are glued to bases yet) and I've built the Runeshapers, and I'm doing their bases currently. There is now a lot of stuff for me to work on. Add on top of that, I have to start getting the paperwork done for going to England for the fall.
played a couple games with eDoome, the blitzer's back boxes fell off, gotta get him out and fix him.
So what did I get? (italics stuff is already stuck to a base and ready for rumbling.
10 whelps, 3 runeshapers, max Krielstone + elder, min longriders, horthol, eDoomie, Nyss minion sorceress, Nyss lesser warlock, coven, eSkarre, min satyxis raiders + witch, 2 necrotechs, 3 scrap thralls, 2 sirens, withershade, 3 ronin, a thing of dice and a set of bases (which I meant to get inserts, but I should be able to trim 25mm bases into inserts for 30mm base)

Longriders had pretty bad gaps/uneven joints on the mount, but the rider was good. Krielstone unit could use some more variety but not too bad I guess. I love the Lanyssa Ryssyl model, eDoomie is a monster and I might have to get another heavy for him! Fell caller I got in a trade and won't see too much use unless the Long Riders are out. The Runeshapers I love the minis, we'll see how they do on the field this week! Oh, and cosmetic repairs on the Blitzer.

Well, I got some games in with my new stuff. I'm definitely looking forward to getting out for nightfall and eating some squishies. Besides that, I'm on my Zondbots again. Trying to get them done then I'm supposed to do the Free booter angel that I built before. The black wash on the zondbots didn't work very well at all, so I may have to do again with ink this time... Everything is dark from the wash right now and I've got to build the colours back up.

ideas for colours for the angel?

You could try a classic golden take on the angel. Give touch of golden brown (like snakebite leather) to all of the colors and using it as basis for the skin.
This was best reference I could find, not a good one but hopefully my idea gets through

Strenghtening the black lining really makes a difference with these bots. They look more defined and have more presence now.

So while I was painting these guys, I found myself saying, "You are dead sexy" 'cause with the sharper contrast of the lighter grey (I'm not at white yet) they are just looking hot!
And here they are doing the "I'm too sexy for my shirt" dance
Add white highlights, maybe some spots of colour for eyes and such and done!

Hmm... does that angel have a codpiece? You're a good painter, by the looks of this thread; I've been following it for a little bit, after accidentally stumbling upon it, so as a matter of relevance, is the angel to keep the same scheme as the others or is it to be a more or less just angel hanging about with the... robotic 3 armed blokes and the Clockmaker?
17720
Post by: Deminyn
The angel is going to be a gift for someone, so it doesn't have anything to do with the other guys. As for the cod piece... kinda. His... robe is 'girded' around his loins... but yeah, pretty much.
Also, you mention the angel's codpiece, but not the huge cod piece on the little robot dudes? lol
Glad to hear from ya.

Being sick for the last couple days has put me out of it. But I got a little done on the base and hair today. Next I'll tackle the skin (scary) and keep pushing off doing the robes I'm starting to feel rushed and I just started! I only have 2 weeks left to finish it up! And the PPress league to keep up with too! Oh scary oh my oh me. Anyways, I've stalled long enough for my photos to upload, so without further ado...
Here's showing off the hair. I had a lot starker contrast from the darkest grey all the way to white at the top, but that got lost when I inked it to bring out the texture of the hair... le sigh
The base, I just brought out the bones and the stone... pretty straightforward
higher res wing pics... with the link to the gallery so that they can be zoomed in on.
edit: PS oh, I guess I didn't explain last post and it wasn't before. I highlighted the sword. You can see it in the wing pics too.

Post by: Metsuri
GW's khaki and earth work fine in shading bone. You have to be careful with them, they are quite strong color, that will make too stark transitions easily.
White works as highlight, just be careful not to add too much too soon as it too tends to overpower the base color.
22039
Post by: Rose_Mountainz
I would blend a colour on the shading and highlights. Khaki blended with bleached bone, graveyeard earth with bleched bone etc. Try what works best for you and I'm sure you will work it out

So, yeah... What happened? Kinda my life went into controlled chaos with doing all the paperwork necessary for a move with work and so I kinda just let everything go. I didn't email my friend weekly like I should of, didn't paint anything, just kinda cruised and did everything I needed to in order to get over here. Here being the UK. Now that I'm here and kinda settled, I've been reading a bunch of stuff and decided I would finally work on the Malifaux stuff that has been sitting around. So with out further ado, here is Viktoria, Bounty Huntress. (Pardon my photos, don't have a proper setup here yet, or even a lamp)
The hair was a huge pain, and I kinda just went with it at this point. The next one I think will be a lot easier, just do it in greys, and sepia wash for tone. The blade was fun, using blue, purple and green wash to try and get a kinda 'magical strike' look. Some of those pics are pretty bad but I hope you like it. I hope to have a lot more to follow.

First is yesterday's Vik with her base.
This is the other Vik WIP, I'm leaving the centre leotard black to kinda tie in the colours with the first one. Besides that, it's late and I don't have much to say. Didn't work on her all day, I would've loved to have done the two Viks in two days but oh well...

I'm running off to dinner, but I figured I'd post this before I did.
I'm really scared to finish this model. All that I have left to do is the coat. Which is like half the model. My original idea was to do it all white and write something down the back kinda like Aoi in Beelzebub. Anyways, currently I'm waffling just doing it like that and highlighting it, 'cause I don't wanna screw it all up. Anyway, dinner calls and I'll decide later what to do.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Automatically Appended Next Post:
So I decided to go with my original idea. Came out alright. Was a little to high contrast to start, and had to white wash the coat to tone it down. After playing with Photochopping I decided to go with the whole 5 Kanji on the coat after doing a little practice on paper to see if I could do it that small. The photochopping let me see what Kanji would be hidden by the swords. 1 Free Internets to someone who can guess what's written, and a bonus Internet (with extra tubes) for where the phrase comes from... Any takers?
What to say about her? The dreads were quite fun/painful to paint up, and to highlight the texture of the hair. The coat came out alright. The base is a different set then Malifaux's metal inserts. Not as characterful as the Malifaux one, but I had it around... The glasses in her hair were a last minute idea and I loved the idea of the die hard wandering killer type having bright sun glasses. I tried to tie in the colours again to the other Malifaux mercs so far. Oh, and girly flowers on the lapels: I wanted something to have them stand out, like the pink lapels for the Bounty Huntress Vik, so little flowers. The left one was good, the right wasn't so good. I was in such a rush to finish up and post and get to sleep, the base isn't even dry yet. Oh yeah, I got really lucky with highlighting the black pants. Used deep deep blue to shade the black, and a really dark gray for highlighting. Came out perfect if a little subtle from the tabletop distance. Overall, I'm ecstatic!
'Till next time,
D

Another quick one before dinner. Same idea as the last Ronin. I really like Malifaux's models so far. A joy to paint. I'll be doing the coat similar to the last ronin (ie white with kanji done the back). As far as I understand, the coat with kanji is a boast/open challenge from strong fighters, so I don't know if I want to keep the same kanji on the back or do a twist of the same theme for all of them... I'll decide later. Anyway, here's a quick shot of everything done but the coat.
bah, waiting for them to upload...

Lovin' it so far! Keep up the good work!
Also, I've no idea what the first two kanji might be, but the ending is "no tenchi." Meaning something along the lines of "angel of" or "from heaven." Right?

I like your shadowing of this latest guy- added to the already muscle-y sculpt of the model, it really gives him a renaissance muscle-bound man look- as though he were some sort of Renaissance style Adonis or David, with all the roughness of his arms and anatomical detail exaggerated.
In other words, keep it up, stuff's awesome.

Wow, a month and a half! It almost looks like school was a little hard than I thought it would be. Either that or Civ 4 dug its dirty claws back into me and dragged me through the mud... one of the other.
So I had her almost done at the start of Sept and she sat around waiting for the last touch to face and flesh and I finally finished it tonight after my neighbour threatened to cut off her head if I didn't finish her.
Model is PP IK RP model Ordic Pistoleer, Valeria Alvaro. (Apparently I forgot how to take nice pics in the last month and a half too)

So that's the end of my Viktorias' Vicous Vixens crew, I had a lot of fun painting them and I hope to have a lot more fun stomping some other crews. In the mean time, here's what is next on the table. My Vik's need someone to fight against.

Just a quick update. bought my second ever flesh tone ( GW dark flesh) considering the convict has such large skin areas. I usually just use the old flesh wash/ink to get my dark tones, but decided to expand a bit. Plus it seemed like a pretty solid base colour for a bunch of different stuff. I was just painting 'cause didn't feel like sleeping, so the pics are 'happy pic' quality as in just put it on auto and click. Enjoy.
had fun, I might do a highlight on the scars. screwed up the thiness of the paints at one point so I needed to wash the thing to soften the changes. I'm gunna try for blue jeans on him, and the flash makes them really bright right now.

She's being quite frustrating to paint. I've had to switch over to a slower style of paint each section/detail in totallity rather than working by colour like I usually do. I still have to do the hair, the boots, and finish the guns, but she's getting there. I still haven't played any Malifaux, but I'm hoping to wrangle a bud into a game once Lady J is done as I'll be able to put up 25ss crews with both the Viks and Lady J. And I may have ordered in Lucius and some more Guardsmen models to make an alternate Guild list. And of course, since I was ordering stuff, I ended up kinda going over board and getting some Firestorm Armada and a little Hordes and Infinity stuff too. Including a replacement Interventor 'cause mine lost her arm. :( Very sad about that, I really liked how she had turned out.

Just a progress post. I've been working on my Firestorm Armada Sorylians, finishing up the frigates from before and starting the escorts. The frigates I painted with my normal care and played with lighting on 3 of them, but for the escorts I decided that mass production may be the way to go. So far they had metals painted and in the pic the wash is still fresh. I plan on blocking the red and blue next, and maybe washing them in their respective washes, then edge highlight. (I didn't take a pic, but the other 3 frigates I tried actual source lighting, but the edge highlight looks a lot cleaner. The source lighting was too garish, maybe if I had a better blending or layering technique...)
Better looking Frigates
These be escorts.
Also, I've sprayed the bases I'm going to use for the guild guys I've just finsihed up, so they'll all be done soon!
On a random note, anyone in the Newbury, berkshire area play Malifaux or Firestorm?

Opps, 2 week gap...
I was busy, seriously.
School has been... hectic. I'm taking a break from studying for exams so here are some quick happy pics.
1) I got an awesome random gift from back home, in the style of the interwebs, "We heard you like dice, so we put dice in yo' dice"
2) Escorts done, 2 quick happy pics, flash and no flash
I'll probably do the bases for Lady J, The Judge, The Scales and the convict since that's all they need to be done, then I'll tackle my cruisers!
ps. Exams are annoying and school gets in the way of important things like painting.

So I used to be really good at daily updates... like a year and a half ago...
What have I done in the last 3 weeks you ask?
Went to France for the first time, visited Juno Beach and Vimmy Ridge. Finished another chunk of school, the last lectures. Tomorrow starts group projects, then research skills and the Thesis... well, anyway, that's not what you all care about...
What have I done gaming-wise in the last 3 weeks you ask?
I've painted some stuff. Bases for all the guild stuff that was waiting for bases. A halberd heavy cruiser for sorylians in Firestorm Armada. Started the skyhammer cruisers today. Sealed the guild guys and the sorylian stuff I had done. Did a practise game of 1000pts sorylians vs relthoza. 1000pts looks cool on the table and that's kinda the drive on painting right now. Tried to 'prime' some relthoza white, and got really frustrated 'cause my primer was all messed up and only spraying propellant... until I realized I was trying to 'prime' with my sealer... Looked into
Sorylians so far.

A few months and what do I have to show for it?
First I got some laser cut MDF terrain from three stores, I have finished my first one and I'll show it off and give a little bit of my impressions. Demo Laser-Cut Designs 28mm Modular Factory.
Overall... not bad. $50 and you get a half decent piece of terrain. My overall tone though is that it just isn't that great. I had some warping problems after using some watery glue to flock the rough which really surprised me. The joints aren't subtle and are quite lose allowing problems of squaring corners to be made. I've played with another companies work and the difference of detail and fit is very apparent. The design is very basic and doesn't have any surface detail. The joints are fairly obvious and, though I tried to hide it with the paint job, I realized later that a strip of card or plasticard would've done a better job and quite easily. I also found out that DLCD sells sets that cover the edge joints with a laser cut stone facade. They really should've included another sheet of card for this in the factory, especially at this price. Overall though, it works, looks pretty good and I look forward to playing on it.
What else you ask? You don't think that was enough to keep me busy? Well, it pretty much was... however, since yer so persistent, here's what's currently on the table.

Very angry and gritty von schill

A poorly shaded Misaki/Kujakihime
That's it for now. Hopefully it keeps coming. I'll be out of town in March but I plan on taking my stuff with me to work on.
