I have recently started a webcomic about the 40k universe, centered on the TTau race (yup, ttau, not tau)

i´d like to receive some reviews, maybe some ideas, jokes, oppinions (please, dont be mean) to improve it. For now there is only a "characters" section besides the webcomic itself, but i hope i will be filling it as soon as i finish the introduction of the main characters ^^

It's good dood, but the colours are reeeeeeally dark, made it quite hard to follow what was going on. Liked the JJ comic thouigh, made me titter!

Sorry don't know a lot about the Tau so can't really help on the idea's front.

"Archie" is an american comic, i'd take it as a compliment.

Keep up the good work! I don't look too hard, but I've only ever seen two other 40k comics out there (Gone to Ground and Turn Signals on a Land Raider) and neither of them are about my personal favorite race, the Tau. (Sorry...the TTau)

Oh, and how often do you update it? Are you on a set schedule yet, or is it more of a "when I have time, when I feel like it" type of thing?

Your English isn't perfect but it's good enough. As a not Spanish speaker I am lucky to be able to read the comic in English.


Criticisms
The artwork does seem quite dark. also the layout panels are very regular. In combination, it does not help my eye to flow easily down the page. You should try the use of irregular panels and SFX to help lead the eye through the correct sequence of the story.

Maybe you should put some small difference in the armour of each characters.

how would you do the differences in the armours? maybe some tokens or symbols? trophies?

How about different colour tabs on the shoulder plates?

those change by the military rank, i was thinking in some kind of personal stuff...

I like webcomic. I think the dark art is better, and I like the armor, I don't like how the voice bubbles are hard to follow. It might just be me, the art is a little manga-like, causeing me to read it backwards.

dude just finished reading the last page and what i have seen... it look awesome! i have finally see the funny side of ttau i salute you for taking the initiative to make it and i hope it runs for a lone time. but i suppose you have see for every one that it is a bit dark and i feel that you characters need more characteristics other than different heir color. i know English is a hard laugue ( believe me in dyslexic) but spell check does help. but over all it look awesome and im defiantly watching this comic

Whenever I see someone making a fan comic, I prepare to cringe as they try too hard.

But, this is actually really good; I think I'll bookmark it. "Greater wood" is amazing, I actually have a game with my Tau friend coming up Saturday so I'll try to include that somehow.

This is really good stuff. It actually is funny unlike quite a lot of fan comics out there. So glad you decided to post a thread about it so I could find it.

One minor comment. Some of the un-speech-bubbled (is it a word? It is now) text can be a little hard to read as some of the background is quite dark. Apart from that keep up the great work

I read it in English and Spanish. In some cases your comedy is sharper in your native language, but the English version still made me laugh out loud.

Really nicely done. Terrific artwork and a nice blend of comedy and action. I have to say that I never thought I'd find myself enjoying the (T)Tau. Keep the good stuff coming.

Looks like the last strip was a little... well, you didnt like it at all.. me neither :
so we come back to the main story ^^

i thought the last one was seriously funny as heck. cant make everyone happy. especially the nerdy inquisitor was funny. very clichè as being a poor virgin and only able to get near women when the are fastend to a bench...
guess that was for some critics to lifelike for their one selfs.

the freezer joke at the end was a good reminder for the last pic of the last strip of the storyline.

Fail is how I would describe this one. I cant understand how you went from golden to gak in the last few strips. Really cut out the mini characters and such

if someone is not on the same level with taste and humor it is often for the best to leave things as they are and try to concentrate on other things like how many rolls of toilet paper one has, when the need arises...

i have to say, i am a fan of your sense of humor and the only downfall in the matter of your comic strip is that your production is way to slow, as i am in constant neeeeeeed for more laughs of your creativity

i recomend you smackjeeves. Trully is one helluva halp when you have drawing skills but no computer skills.

and the most important advise i can give you is, persevere. Dont forget it. You will think for a long long time that nobody is reading you, but they will. you need time, and effort. ^^
