I would personally use master crafted chainsword integrating power field for CC and combimelta boltgun.

Auxillary

- [custom] armored bodysuit similar to Exarch armor, with a Ranger travel cloak above it

Railgun; I shoot it, it dies.

I'd have a force weapon (like a fencing foil), a tau stealth suit with integrated storm shield, and a shoulder-mounted rail rifle.

EDIT: Also, a lasgun and laspistol, for when I'm outside the armor.

Terminator armor and either storm shield thunder hammer or dual lightning claws.

The shoota! Not only is it a powerful gun, but also a very heavy CCW!

Failing that, maybe a sternguard bolter complete with special amo. For close range I like the regular power sword.

This, also, most 9mm pistols aren't very accurate at range, while a .45 can reach out and someone. Both of these would be beaten by the boltgun (were it an actual weapon), which fires a miniature rocket.

AK-47 is a pretty solid weapon introduced in 1946 and used today you can throw it and do what ever it will fire.It's the same thing for lasgun only the difference is that he lasgun is used 8k years since it was recovered from STC in m32.

Precisely, although I'm sad I wasn't the first to think of it. I forgot a gun, I'd go with either a good old shotgun or a smaller multilaser for spraying wildly and ineffectually, like I'm in the A team.

So many variables here. I assume we are talking here about personal weapons and not the squad/tank/warship/planetkiller variety.

Option A ( cheap & available ). Lasgun with Auxiliary Grenade Launcher. The AK-47 analog is excellent. A rifle that is available, utterly reliable and easy to use. ( As a sidenote , the Finnish Army RK62 is a derivative of the AK47. I learned to love the gun. Even when you crawled through mud, snow and reindeer s#€t, it still worked .)

Option B ( expensive & deadly ). Combimelta w Targeter and special ammo. Power weapon for close combat.

Karskin Armour, Arbitis shotgun, and a power sword.

I will look, feel, and be a badass.

If we can go for stuff like battle cannons, why not a captured Tau stealthsuit that has heavy bolters grafted, Force fields attached and a pair of claws attached undcer the bolters in the same way the necrons have their axe... It'll be effective at long range (mega cool rail cannons or ultra precise missiles), medium range (twin-linked heavy bolters ) and CC (force field, lightning claws). Ain't that SuperDuper for something that you can actually use?!

A bolt pistol with deamon (or vortex) bolts, because there is just something incredibly awesome in a handgun that can KO a titan.

Armor-wise, power armor would be good, but I don't think I would live long wearing power armor and carrying Ork weaponry. One execution for heresy coming up! So I'll have to go with 'eavy armor (just as good as the stuff stormtroopers wear!) and a cybork body.

I never really understood how the pistol/sword thing worked....wouldn't a lasgun on full auto be more effective in close combat than a pointy knife?

Edorian, lasguns rock for ease of use (40k version of AK-47 in mind) but suck at penetration or rate of fire. Bolters are like one grade higher, despite (quoting) "entire stockpiles of ammunition used up in a single battle" because of them. I like both however.

Lightning claws rock at CC. They make Wolverine look like a sissy with sharp nails.

I will recommend the cheapest weapon in 40k the guardsmen just throw enough of them on your enemies and they will destroy them.

I want my own tiny version of Power Armor that fits my Skinny Ars and a pair of special Lightning Claws Fit for someone of my size. Power is Reduced and size is for much smaller and light weight claws but to make up for it they would be specially built to have a Much more incredible "Piercing" power then the other claws. Little Pressure applied to poke or Pierce the tips of my claws into just about anything. Also they would have a long lasting power source!

I would pick a master-crafted bolter combi-melta with hellfire rounds and if they get to close I would have a nice relic blade for them and just to top that off if i'm about to die psychic ability Holocaust.

Be encased in a Dreadnaught with 2 Big ass seismic hammers and underslung flamers.

Or if you want more just become a princeps and control a Emperor class titan.

After reading Codex:Space Marine 5th edition I would choose conversion beamer(incredibly rare pre-heresy artifacts)they convert matter into energy and the longer you are from the target the more powerful is the attack or the powerfist integrating conversion beamer.

Reaper melta guns have some drawbacks like slow to fire,short ranged and hard to reload.That combination effective while fighting foes like CSM,necrons,but not against genestealers.

Actually flak armor is easily penetrated after 3 or more hits from that kind of weapons and helmet is more durable than armor(From Uplifting Primer).

for marines- jump pack- 12" movement
storm shield- 3+ invulnerable save
thunder hammer- S8 , models in contact Initiative 1, shakes tanks on top of additional damage
meltabombs- 2D6 armour penetration S8
artificier armour- 2+ save

I've always invisioned myself as a firewarrior so Pulse Rifle & Maybe a markerlight.

I think... a plasma gun with a power bayonet, carapace armour, digital weapon, camo cloak, night vision goggles, grenades.

Does anyone know the 40k equivalent of a silenced pistol or some sort of rifle that can be silenced? Because I know that bolters explode upon penetration, and lasguns, plasma, etc would all make a massive flash, not to mention being a bolt of light.

Weapon: My lasgun

Armor: Faith

Terminator armor with teleporter and cyclone launcher
Assault cannon + chainfist
Orange Land Raider with black racing stripes

For the parade-ground: standard IG flak armour and lasgun/long-las

For the fighting: Nothin but my undies and a Phillips screwdriver

That's right.... I went there.....

I already have flashlights at home, so not a lasgun,... I guess a splinter cannon and a poinoned blade.
