What has one of your models done that makes you want to post it on here (and a pic of the model if you want)

My aspiring sorcorer on my thousand sons, survived a charge of genestealers, killed the broodlord and fried 4 genestealers
killed of 8 raveners over 3 turns and then survived a carnifex charge, But was killed shortly after by a stray basalisk shot =(
(the carnifex lost a wound too though)

A space marine captin survived 3 turns of titan laser destructers, to melta bomb it and survive the explosion.

My Deathwing Cyclone/TH/SS termy survived 2 rounds of combat with a warrior brood, warrior alpha, and carnifex. The game ended and he was still alive. I put a 'nid head on his cyclone as a trophy.

One of my gun drones single-handedly (without even having hands) killed a carnifex. Yes there was bad rolling on my opponents part but it doesn't take away from my uber gun drone.

My Shas'o with Fireknife load out with 2 drones, 1 gun 1 shield stimulant injector and shield generator has had some good days.

One day, shot, assaulted, and swept 20 Gargoyles in a single turn. Same game took 2 rounds of Dakkafex and dakka tyrant fire, with 0 wounds taken.

Another game, over the course of 4 turns. took out a vendetta, 2 chimeras and a LR Executioner(plasma spam one) But the LRBT got black knighted in close combat. (Was immobilized before assaulting.) Then Col Straken came and whipped him a good one.

Heres another Carnifex tale: My opponents Carnifex being solo'd by my Ork Warboss Skarshak (Zanzag from the Black Reach set)! Another instance of dice being on the side of the Orkz!
I was surprised at this, seeing that the Carnifex tore the nobz around my warboss to little tiny green shreds!

Not sure if this is abusing the rules...

You nominate a target, and roll a D6. That is the number of shots fired, now you can choose to roll more and more dice BUT once you get doubles, there is a malfunction (big surprise!).

My plague marine champion, sole surviving member of his squad, survived shooting from 11 lootas, a leman russ executioner with plasma sonsons, a demolisher with melta sponsons and a HW team of three lascannons, before shooting at, charging and breaking a full infantry squad of IG conesting my objective and then finally survivng another round of shooting to win me the game.

One of my nobs:



He was the lone survivor (of eleven or so) of a four crisis suits opening up with flamers. He then proceeded to multi-assault and kill all four of them. That combat included me rolling an inordinate amount of sixes on his armor saves.

Mine would have to be my Dreadnought's inability to die. He has no extra armour, and whenever he gets penetrated, he never gets above a 2 on the vehicle damage chart. He deserves a medal. My rhino has survived being immobilised, and has even KILLED a warboss, since he failed to stop it. 55 points killing 105 ftw.

My GK Grand Master being assaulted by a Deff Dread and 30 Ork Boys. By using Hammerhand, he caused the Dread to explode and kill every single Ork Boy in the combat!

I've also had a GK Land Raider fail to destroy a Monolith with it's Godhammers, so in frustration I fired the HK missile...and rolled 3 6's, resulting in a smouldering wreck. (This was back in 4th where Glancing Hits could destroy the vehicle.)

My BA Librarian in one game killed a Chaos LR and Rhino in one shot got out and fought 3 Beserkers 1 with a fist and abbadon for 3 turns with no invuln save winning combat once and tieing twice.

Had an imperial guard veteran sergeant last three rounds of combat with a hive tyrant (which had 1 wound left), he then fled, escaped and ran into a glass forest (some of our homebrew terrain). The Hive tyrant gave chase and failed its difficult terrain test and its save and dropped dead. After the battle, I promoted him to company commander.

I've had an entire Infantry Squad get wiped out except for the one guy with a flamer.

Seeking revenge for his fallen brothers, he flamed the marine tac squad that shot them, killing four of them. He assualted them, killed one and managed to pass the 1 armor save he had to take. He then sweeping advanced the surviving marines before facing a grizly fate beneath a demolisher shell.

I'm pretty sure the space marines dug up his body after the battle and put him in a dreadnought.

First game playing Orks. My brother was SM and had a pretty sweet Force Commander with relic blade kicking the living pooh out of my boyz in CC. So my warboss was moving in to get into CC and hopfully save something! Well the time he got there, the Commander had already defeated the boyz squad and was able to assault my warboss. Not only did the warboss make all his invulnerable saves, but then killed the Commander in one round of CC.

And to make matters better for me, he then went on to assault a razorback, blow it up, and kill the occupants.

In 1 game my thousand sons killed 3 carnifaxes in CC.

2 died from the warptime aspiring sorcerer scoring a single wound and force weaponing them. The 3rd was already down to it's last wound and was killed from a rubric marine's pimp slap. Never underestimate a rubric marine's pimp hand.

My Terminator squad took three wounds from the plasma fire and subsequently, I rolled three sixes for my invul. saves.

My opponent then quit the game and packed up.

DE Archon on bike over the course of 1 game, single handidly killed 3 squads of marines, captain, librarian, devestator squad, and a dreadnought (4th ed). Made ALOT of 2+ invuls....

My 5 man GK squad. Got into CC with berserker squad with chaos general, after loosing 2 GK to the general the justicar hits back and kills him and one berserker in one turn. Then the GK kill the berserkers, clime up a bunker killing another squad CSM and claiming an objective winning the game.

Inquisitor Lord with Eviscerator, Artificer Armour, and Icon of the Just (4++) ends up killing two dreads, their two drop pods, and a Space Marine Captain, all in single combat. It's worth noting that the Captain had a relic blade, meaning that a single would was all it would take to kill him.

In addition, the Inquisitor Lord survived several turns of having my opponents entire army fire at him (including 2 lascannons and several missiles). He went down on the last turn to the last lascannon.

(not as Awesome as some of these but it makes me smile to this day)

My Death Korps squad sergeant and his squad was assaulted by some Th/Ss and LC terminators, killed 3 of the 4, the other one survived... just ! the next turn the sergeant picked off the terminator with his las pistol... epic.

One of the most memorable was about 6 years ago. Me and my buddy were just starting to play battletech and he knew the rules and I didn't so he waws teaching me. As soon as his mech gets into range for my mech I shoot everything I got, scoring 3 missiles and an Medium Laser on his face. It crit and he died.

Playing a scenario with recycling units my Warboss and the Nob from the mob he was with sat on the enemy's board edge for 4 turns, soaking up 4 rounds of shooting and destroying 5 charging units of Death Guard CSM.

Those two models accounted for as many kill points as either of my two allies in that game.

I have 3 that are just amazing beyond belief. BTW, I saved the best for last.

1. My lone Scout Sergeant with Pfist got assaulted by 10 Chaos Marines after I turn 1 Storms assaulted his Havocs and wiped them. He takes 25 wounds and passes all 25 4+ armor saves. I have that pic somewhere. Grumble Grumble. Then kills one with his Pfist and I win combat. Opponent rolls double 6's twice in a row and they run off the board.

2. My Captain with combi-melta lighting claw and artificer armor (When I was a nooby) was leading my force against Plague Marines in a tournament. BTW, this was my favorite game ever, Lead changed 7 times in the last two turns and came down to a 16th of an inch and it was a draw. I'll post a Bat Rep later because i can still remember it Crystal Clear from 1 and a half years ago. Anyway, My captain Rampaged his army, exploding a Land Raider, killing like 15 Plague marines and contesting an objective while passing about 24/25 Iron halo saves. Not to mention pimp slapping a terminator.

3. Best moment ever. Same Captain as above scores this moment. Next day in an Apocalypse battle (This is at GenghisCon in Denver Colorado for those of you wondering. Great tournament, Golden demon winners giving paint lessons and such. AND, if your unlucky you can face a member of the 40kWreckingCrew) the Captain rose to the occasion. It was a one objective game with that objective being a Radio tower in the middle. Any unit, including vehicles within 12" of it counted as holding it. Whoever had the most units holding it at games end won. This was the bottom of the last turn and we had 3 units around the objective and they had about 8. Captain runs up, is within 12" (barely albeit) of both the Eldar Titan with one structure point remaining and the objective. Not within melta range (which didn't apply anyway) and he shot the combi-melta. I rolled a very lucky strand of dice and apocalyptically exploded it! It hits the Captain and he passes his instant death save and it hits two stormtroopers and the guy rolls Snake eyes to wound them. It then annihilates about 50 Khorne Berzerkers around the objective and all their Rhino's and Abbaddon and 20 Plague Marines. The guy didn't roll a single one to wound his own teams models. WE won, 4 to 0. Epic combi-melta shot killed a titan, 50 Berzerkers, 20 plague marines and like 2 Rhino's. Well worth the points! Anyway, the Khorne Berzerker player was taking a nap (he is my best friend) because he thought they had totally annihilated us. He woke up and asked, "How bad was it?" I responded. "Well, It was utter annihilation." He said, "Great, we won. Wait, where the *naughty* are all my guys?" I said, "I destroyed them." He was too tired and just shrugged it off. I caught the dice roll on video and showed him on the car ride home. He thought I was joking originally and was in disbelief when he realized, it was true.

I had ten genestealers,around me was 5 sanguinary gaurd and 10 death company(all in jet packs)So,my opponet thought it was smart to assualy me with sanguineary guard,i wiped the floor with them,as he thought he assualted first,then,then, wiped the floor with 10 death company.Then they died to a squad with 4 heavy bolters.

Marbo appearing behind 3 crisis suits, nuking them, they shot at him, he assaulted and tore them to shreds. He ran towards a 6-man stealth suit team and annihilated them, then killed off 3 kroot, finishing the squad.

Single-handedly took out all my opponent's models on one side of the field. Only 65 points!

I have one more from yesterday I'd like to share

my oponent had the first turn of a 750p game, my ba army vs his salamanders army,

on the first turn a drop pod slammed right betwine my front combat sq's and my rocket combat squads and a far too anoying ironclad dreadnought got out ready to multicombat my two heavy wep cb sq's,

So my sgt with a plasma pistol turned round and shot it in the a** and wrecked it, that wreck then provided the needed cover to stop a Vulcan hestan assult

who was then iradacated by the same plasma pistol, the sgt's squad then charged hestams guard and killed off 4/5 termies

my oponent through a stop grabbed his stuff and left the shop, which was the amusing part because he had 2/3 objectives..

I have a space marine teminator, armed with a storm bolter and power fist, in one epic game, his entire squad was killed by a shadowsword domination force (a shadowsword, 3 leman russes and a sentinel) and then destroyed the whole lot after taking the 'russes on over 3 turns, the sentinel in another, and got 4 chain reactions on the shadowsword (although only needing 3) and survived the explosion. My opponent, then pretty peed off with his prize unit being blown up by just a humble terminator, sent one of his land raiders to deal with him. The flukey termie then glanced it to death in 4 turns, before wiping out the tactical squad within. he then spent the rest of the game in combat with abbadon the despoiler.
Over the course of the game he survived 19 armour saves and 11 invulnerable saves.
I then gave him about seven purity seals and named him Orcus, after the greek god, who was pretty much the grim reaper- he dragged you kicking and screaming into hades (the greek equivalent to hell) whenever he felt like it.

Oh yeah, and I was playing a game with a long-time tyranid player. he ahd about 60 gaunts with him, and my main choice was a land raider redeemer carrying lysander and a 5-man termie squad with th/ss. He was so scared of this lot, he sent both his carnifexes after them, which obviously got munched, the for 3 turns they suffered 2 casualties to the wave of gaunts, and then wiped out 5 warriors led by a warrior prime. then a trygon surfaced, which got owned. These 6 guys took out the entire 1,500 point army! (apart from a few zoanthropes, who got owned by a scout squad and tactical squad shooting at them).

playing in a tournament, turn 7, i'm aware my opponent is likely to lash my plague beareres of my objective to win.

A lone horror, charges the DP in the hopes of tying him up, he hits first, 4 hits, 3 wounds - I save them all, the horror, hits twice, wounds once, and he fails the armour save, and then fails his save for bening fearless and losing - and dies!

My first round in a tournament ever my opponent sends a Mawloc (I think) at my deathwing squad. The squad opens up, 2 wounds from the Assault cannon and 1 from a Krak missile. Next turn squad fires again everything misses except 1 Storm Bolter, 6 to woun on both shots, guy passes one save. I have since promoted the Terminator to a squad leader, currently converting him.

Also when playing against the old 'Nid codex. A Fex is cutting a nice path of death through my squads. It shots, taking out my tac squad save sargent that has a Chainsword and Bolt pistol. After a shot and assault he kills the fex which only had two wounds left. He is now a Stern Guard.

I had a kasrkin sergeant with a power weapon shave three wounds off of a chaos lord in assault, killing him in the last combat phase of the game!

As of about 2 hours ago I own an Ork Warboss that took out a Warhound in single combat, who then survived the explosion (which took out about 300 points of my force and about 700 points of my opponents) and then survived three turns of heavy ordnance fire.

Now he has a hat

My ork warboss and his entire retinue, all armed with power klaws charged a valk and scored 0 hits! But my opponent made me roll for attak squig separate, 6 then 6 then 6! Blew the thing out of the sky by launching a squig into the turbine!

Not really my model, but played a doubles tourney this week, in our final game my team-mates lash prince survived about 3 turns of constant marine shooting with only 1 wound left, including a roll that needed at least 5 5's to survive! (luck was with us that time!)

I had a squad of 10 guardians with a warlock and charged them into a 5-Man Chaos terminator squad containg a full health Abbaddon....I won after 2 assault phases.

Also my friend had a lone CSM with a Lascannon that fired at my 3-Structure point Baneblade. I will forever regret mocking that marine....

Having my last Chaos knight take out four skaven slave formations and wounding a rat orge before getting munched by Storm Vermin and Plague bearers

back in, I don't know what edition, whenever the Necrons came out I guess, my Necron Lord took out Marneus Calgar, a Force Commander, a Dreadnaught and 4 Terminators, he just refused to stay down. this was back in the days when I ignored the time limits and played to the death

another game with an Inquisitorial Stormtrooper army my Inquisitor Lord gunned down some genestealers, a Zoanthrope (easily done with a psycannon I admit), a swathe of rippers, survived a shooting attack from the Hive Tyrant that wiped out his retinue and fought against the Parasite of Mortrex, eventually beating him to the ground with a Thunder Hammer and seeing off the swarms of Rippers with Holocaust, despite the Shadow in the Warp

Last year, I had a fresh 10 man terminator squad with a chaplain in terminator armor, completely decked out for CC. I assaulted a fresh unit of hormagaunts and wiped them, which sucked actually because I was very near the game board edge, and right behind that was a Hive Tyrant, 2 Carnifex's and a fresh squad of warriors. After his return assault next turn, every Terminator was wiped, except the chaplain, but he was in base to base with the tyrant, one of the warriors and the 2 fex's although we argued a little about how much could be in base to base with the chaplain. I ended up just giving in figuring the Chaplain wasn't gonna survive another round regardless.

Long story short, my Chaplain wiped the warriors, took down 1 of the carnifex's and had beat the hive tyrant down to 1 wound left, AND was still alive by the end of the game. I won handily because that one Chaplain kept nearly half of his army tied up for FIVE rounds of combat. I didn't fail any save the entire game with him, and then my opponent tried telling me that he now agreed with me that he couldn't have that much in base to base, but I wouldn't back down, considering I had gave into him and allowed it in the first place.

He even asked me to use his dice, as if I was cheating!

We haven't played together since. lol

I had a 750 game with my Guard versus some Word Bearer CSM once. I lost 3 Guardsmen, 1 to his gun overheating. The pivotal moment of the game came when some Chaos Terminators cornered my Platoon Command Squad, killed 2 through shooting, and then assaulted, whiffing their attacks. The Guardsmen struck back, killing one in CC, causing them to fail their Morale check, to get sweeping advance'd.

Another awesome moment saw my Vanilla Marine Captain with a Relic Blade carve through a 50 man Guard squad by himself. Killed 3 on the charge, the Guardsmen only made him take 1 wound. Guardsmen fail morale (even with a Commissar leading them), and then get sweeping advance'd.

I love how many of these stories involve sweeping advances.

My tau commander and his two bodyguards (and two shield drones) managed to beat 40+ some hormgaunts in melee, since they made all 15 armor saves. I proceeded to catch and kill the whole mess.

I was playing my deathguard against my friends tau. I charged with my summoned deamons into his broadside. after numerous melees I was down to one summoned deamon. At the end of the last combat my single demon did one more wound than he did and did a successful sweeping advance on three broadsides.

Well not sure if its a greatest feat since he costs 190pts but to deliver him with termies its upwards of 600 or so pts but i had vulkan get out of a landraider and split form the TH/SS termies (who went to fight genestealers) and charge 3 zonathropes. Termies die to fail save(many dice were fired that day) Vulkan kills all zonathropes gets charged next turn by stealers (from termie combat) wins combat and sweeps them. My turn fries some more stealers on an objective with heavy flamer and charges which killed the rest of the squad, then was charged by Giant worm thing (Malwoc maybe?) over the course of two more turns giant worm thing lays dead at his feet.

Im working on a base for him with lots of dead nid bits.

My grotz taking down the nightbringer.

I call BS on that! theres no way their puny S could hurt the nightbringers T6 or sumthin...

Single model wtfpwnage: Ghazghkull Thraka. Assaulted a land raider and exploded it, killing one assault terminator. The other four Assault Terminators with thunderhammers spill out and counter-charge Ghazghkull, who declares a Waaaugh! to take advantage of a 2+ invulnerable save. Three die and the fourth dies to no retreat wounds and he consolidates over to another land raider, and assaults it the following turn and wrecks it. Assault terminators spill out and assault Ghazghkull (no longer on the Waaaugh!) and he only takes two wounds! He attacks back and kills two and sits in combat until boyz come to help. I assault in and my opponent directs his attacks at Ghazghkull who LIVES STILL! The boyz finish off the terminators. Ghazghkull attaches to the unit and assaults a tactical marine squad, killing it (with the boyz).

That's about the best he's done.

If we talk about units, I'll have to talk about my burna boyz.

Actually a few weeks ago something very amusing happened to a poor Ultramarines player I was having a friendly game with at my FLGS

Five Thousand Sons with their Sorceror dead get assaulted by 5 Assault Terminators with Thunder hammers and Storm Shields.

Being initiative 4, I get to go first.

Five attacks, 4's to hit. Five hits.

Five hits, 4's to wound. Five wounds.

Five wounds, 2's to save. Opponent rolls

RUBRIC MARINES, CLOSE COMBAT MONSTERS.

He was not pleased. Game ended in a draw though.

Haven't played enough games for anything truly epic...

Although I had a combat squad of space marines get attacked by a Calldidus. They proceeded to not only survive her Template-thing, but (this started at the top of turn 2) take the surviving 2 marines in close combat and have a whiff-fest until about turn 4, when she finally slices them both in half. Next turn, she runs over towards a rhino, which promptly pops open a top hatch. A marine pops out of the top, flips her off, and melts her face off with a meltagun.

Ah, my lascannon model. Who else could hold off a 120 points model for 3 turns? If he hadn't have died I'd have given him a medal. Alas, his actual SHOOTING has been quite under par...

The biggest standout I had will go in the negative direction.

A few years ago I was playing against a Sister army with my 13th company list, and I was foot-slogging to his front lines in true vehicle-less fashion.

I take out a few rhinos and his sisters take cover. A few rounds of fire later, one of my Packleaders lost his unit and arrived into charge range of about... 7 sisters? He assault, survives their feeble attacks and then rolls d3 for his mark of the wulfen upgrade. Of course he lands +3 attacks and that brings his (pre 5th edition) attack total to 8 powerfist swings.

He hits with 7, and rolls to wound. Pretty good shot at taking out the 7 chicks eh? He ends up with seven 1's.

Everyone spends the next 10 minutes apologizing to me, and I didn't really understand why. I live for this sort of futility. >;D

(He was later punched out by a sister, and not even the eviscerator in the unit, so at least the story has a happy ending.)

a libarian in my army once got assualted by a greentide in apoc. he survive 2 turns before help arrived and it was wiped out.
this demon prince is all thats left, it has one wound. my allies three basilks fire on it at once. it dies. Last blast template left instant deaths my libarian.

i once saw a single ratling win a combat agaisnt logan grimnar and 11 cc terms.

lol ok, so I had a thunderer unit get wiped out except for 1 guy by a bolt thrower and then my opponent (foolishly) disregards him and turns the bolt thrower's attemtion elsewhere. Then My lone thunderer shot at a unit of coldones for a couple turns, killing one and the surviving cc with them and having a slayer unit come over to kill all but 1 cold one. Then out of nowhere thunderer attacks and kills the last one!

First, it had the audacity to attract my attention, then when I slid it off the wall peg, it grabbed me by my collar, slapped me till I giggled then drug me to the register. Stern then pulled two twenty's from my pocket, told the cashier to keep the change and led me out the door.

True story....

Back when I played CSM, I once had a dred go into a fire frenzy and wipe out have a squad of CSM, later that game he went into a berserk rage and assaulted a havoc squad and tore them to shreds. After that went nuts again and popped a rhino.

Problem was it was all MINE! Damn those crazy dreds

This is just a couple weeks old for me here in Detroit just before round 1 of 'ArdBoyz. I had a pathfinder who was the only remaining member of the two squads I had placed in a game against IG. They were the only models on the board in turn one.

In round 1 of shooting he shot a valk full of vets glanced it, immobilized it moving fast, it failed its cover and died. 6 of the vets died and were pinned.

Turn 2 he was able to get a side shot on the chimera with a psyker squad inside, penned it, destroyed it.

Turn 3 Grey knight termies moved to about 3 inches away, shot at him and he survived all shots. They rolled a 1 and a 2 for difficult terrain test. I decided to assault and he was not wounded and killed 2 grey knights. My opponent then failed one of the fearless tests.

Turn 4 he was obliterated with 4 wounds but I was laughing my butt off.

Going back to Second Edition I had a Sentinel with an Assault Cannon unload on a Blood Thirster. It made all its saves but one and I rolled a 10 on a d10 for the wounds, killing it outright.

Last weekend, I had my veteran squad vox caster fire his rapid fireing lasgun and killed 2 CSM terminators, this guy ended up being my only model to survive the battle.

Now he is waiting for a new paint job to celebrate his kills.

Me and a few friends were playing a 1000 point teams game, where we shared one force orginization chart. My partner brought 500 points of IG, mostly heavy weapons teams and basic infantry. I brought 2 Ironclad Dreads and Vulcan hehehe. We were up against Tau and Orks.

Well come turn one, we go second in one round of shooting and assulting my team is down to some generic IG infantry an imoblisized Ironclad and an unharmed Ironclad. I then went on to table the other team with what ammounted to one functioning Ironclad.

My friend who plays orks has beat this hands down though. I once had 5 TH/SS terminators, they get shot by 6 of his grots, he hits with 5 of the shots. I then procedd to roll 5 1's. I almost cried.

My warp spider Exarch was a true hero during a game I had vs. Imp guard. He was the lone survivor of a large blast from I think a leman russ, all four of his squad-mates died in the same round, he passed his leaderships and then became a true hero.

He survived a full barrage of shoots from a squad of guardsmen and then took the full brunt of an Exterminator fire. He took 7 wounds and saved every shot.

He went on the destroy a basilisk and destroy the main weapon of the exterminator before the games end. I think he also killed some marines, he survived the entire battle.

I once had Kharn the Betrayer, single handedly kill a squad of assaut terminators and then explode their land raider without taking a wound. It was such a happy day

my Nightbringer survived a round of beating from a daemon prince and a bad round of blasting from a unit of 10 havocs, he was at his last wound but thank god for etheric tempest blew his havocs off the table and his prince 6 inches away . after that i rewarded the NB's base with a chaos ring.

My Hive tyrant sat at the back of my tyranid army for a whole game, waited until EVERY other tyranid had been killed, then waltzed in and destroyed about 1000pts worth of orks in various ways. (warp blasting, CC and hosing down tanks with twin linked devourers....good times) However, he then got squashed by a flipped tank, which curbed his success rate somewhat.

I palyed a game once with my orks. 1000 points against tyranids. my army was split up in various small groups. 3 carnifexes charged at my warboss "da mighty Zappa" and his retinue of 5 nobz with big choppas. after a 2 rounds of combat, all of the nobz were dead and my warboss had only 1 wound left, and i only inflicted 1 wound on a carnifex. but then luck came my way. Zappa bellowed his rage, swing his big choppa a few times, and at the end of the last turn of the game (turn 7) all carnifexes were dead and Zappa was was very happy! that day i converted all my bikers to have tyranid head trophies. waaaaaaagh!

He was so scared of this lot, he sent both his carnifexes after them, which obviously got munched, the for 3 turns they suffered 2 casualties to the wave of gaunts, and then wiped out 5 warriors led by a warrior prime. then a trygon surfaced, which got owned. These 6 guys took out the entire 1,500 point army! (apart from a few zoanthropes, who got owned by a scout squad and tactical squad shooting at them).

and last week, i was playing a regular at my flgs- 2000pts of my marines vs his chaos.
(he had a dp-that will come in later)
I sent my useless 5 scouts with combat blades into the middle of no-mans land to tie as much of his force up 'till my plasma devestators get some serious kill points. He sent his dp after the scouts, and the sergeant wounded him with his trusty bolt pistol. the sergeant's men proved quite survivable, and it took the dp 3 turns to kill his 4 men, during which time the sarge took 2 further wounds from the demon. he then failed morale, and fled 7". 5 termies deep-striked, thanx to the sarge's teleport homer. they did squat, and were wiped out over 2 turns. the sarge, after seeing 5 of the 1st company downed by this monster, took aim- AND GOT A HEADSHOT, TAKING IT'S FINAL WOUND! A 13 POINT SCOUT, KILLING A DEMON PRINCE SINGLE-HANDEDLY!!!

P.S: the deverstators then took out 4 squads of chaos, and the rest were owned by lysander and his assault termies. I won 7-2 on kill-points.

My warboss survived a huge amount of beatings from a BA army it was somewhat like this...
Turn 2: Warboss and nobz attack death company, being able to kill at least one guy. Death company put 1 wound iirc

Turn 3: Tactical squad and scouts join the fight. quite a few wounds on my guys. i kill some too. Warboss is left to one wound.

Turn 4: I kill the captain, a few death company , and some scouts ( i am ignoring the tacticals ) My warboss survives with his saves but a few nobz die (including the painboy :( )

Turn 5: warboss dies off ( by a damn scout!) although i take my revenge and kill his last two scouts!

so that was my models greatest feat, a warboss survivng three blood andgels squads for 3 turns only to get killed by a measly space marine in training >_>

also once on the first turn my killa kanz rokkit did nothing, yet a grotzooka managed to kill a baal predator (yes it was the same game )

My lone librarian w/power armor (2 wounds, no invuln save) charges 3 chaos terminators w/power weapons and a Terminator lord w/korne daemon weapon. My librarian manages to win combat and then sweeping advances them as they fail their moral.

Game swings from a loss to a victory for me.

I had Skulltaker survive a charge from a 10 man unit of genestealers with a broodlord (took no wounds), chop half of them down and send them running. Immediately after this he charged a hive tyrant, killed it, consolidated towards the carnifexes, on my next turn charged the squad and killed all of them himself (thank God for 4+ instant death) then he charged a unit of zoanthropes. He cut through 70% of the army by himself (just a bit of help from the Masque using her pavane to pull/push enemies around for him). The daemon princes running next to him never got a chance to even attack after he had his way with everybody

My carnifex was serving as a hive tyrant for a while, and he managed to kill an entire unit of Terminators and marneus calgar in CC without taking a wound.

Also, My defiler managed to squash an entire unit of marines with a single battlecannon shot.

Today I had a sanguinary priest survive for a billion assault phases against an endless wave of gaunts.

Although it would have helped me more if the priest died first, his unit fell back, and regrouped next turn to melta something... *grumble grumble*

Recently in a 2v2 game of IG vs orks,my lone armored sentinel immobilized a battlewagon with a well placed lascannon shot, lost it's weapon to return fire, then next turn slipped around to the tank's rear and proceeded to kick it to death

Battle Missions book, suprise attack against CSM. Brand new vindicator rolls onto the field first turn, levels a squad of three obliterators. Second turn, he rolls up to a squad of zerkers who had just wiped out my bikers (they lost and fell back of the table in the first turn). From point blank(4 inches) he scores a hit and removes 5/7 of them. It then spends the rest of game doing nothing since he never has targets not in CC.

As a guard player, I tend to have lots of puny units that don't distinguish themselves all that often. That said, I did have one rather epic experience with a priest:



The priest was the last model on the board. He charged in after a hammerhead which had moved 12" the previous turn. The priest charges in and exactly gets 6" for the charge. Given that I had 3 rerollable chainfist attacks, the fact that I took down the hammerhead wasn't actually that surprising, but it was still epic. This same priest took down 4 ork vehicles in a speed freaks list a few games later.

Not particularly out of the ordinary, as far as what statistics would predict, but it was these kinds of antics that kept the priest in my list, and which is why I now never hit the tabletop without at least 2 of them in my list.

Otherwise, the next most epic moment for a single model was the very first time I ever used a commissar. It was a 20-man guard squad with a commissar and a priest. The space marine player I was off against did a boatload of damage to the squad and then charged in with a combat squad, killing my squad down to just the commissar and the priest.



I roll my stubborn leadership test, and I fail. With no other targets, the commissar guns down the priest. I reroll the leadership test and fail AGAIN. The commissar evades the sweeping advance so that he can "stubbornly" retreat off the table edge unharmed.

As for the most epic against me, it was once when my opponent charged forward toward my basilisk and shot a single plasma pistol shot at the front armor.



And that single S7 shot blew up the basilisk...

Just last week I had a Wolfguard with combi-melta & powerfist melta a Soul Grinder, get charged by a second Soul Grinder which wiffs for two rounds of CC, then the WG kills the second Soul Grinder by punching him in the balls & wins the game by 1 KP.

Back in 4th ed. My 3.5 Chaos Slannesh DP was renoun for killing stuff. Demonic stature combined with a dread axe meant everything dies, no saves of any kind allowed.

In one game of chaos vs chaos, he took down a fully tricked out Khornate DP, and a unit of bloodletters before any could swing.

In another game he removed 3 units of termies in a Lysander wing style army.

On the flip side my Chaos lieutenant on bike with 2+ save died by running into more trees and/or plasma overheat than he killed in the armies lifetime.

I had a unit of Fire Warriors that was wiped out by a Defilers battle cannon. Only the Shas'ui survived, originally he failed his following leadership test but I had an Ethereal in his LoS so I re-rolled and passed so I had a one man unit.

I figured what the heck so my next turn I charged the Shas'ui into the Defiler and used an EMP grenade. When I rolled the D6 I got
a penetrating hit which was then rolled as wrecked.

Needless to say that Shas'ui recieved a promotion as well as the name Spider Killer (I forgot what it is in Tau) and eventually he worked his way up to becoming my Shas'o.

Ok, so after the Land Raider had popped the trukk that had my 'Ard Boyz Ork Squad within (taking most of the boyz with it) and then having all but the Nob of the squad blasted to bits by the remaining fire, The lone Nob sucked it up (by rolling double one's for morale) and picked a fight with said Land Raider.... enraged, he charged in with his power klaw and (rolling the 6 needed to assault it due to the land raider having moved, then roling another 6 for the penetrating hit with the PK.... thats Str 15 folks) tore out the main power reactor of the Land Raider (by rolling the wrecked condition on the Vehicle damage chart) and let loose a howl to his fellow remaining Orkz that even made the Dark Angel's shudder!

Safe to say... the orkz won that fight!
Plus it was my first Land Raider Kill with my Orkz

I had finished a small game against my friends black templars and when the game ended I had a single pink horror locked with one of his normal marines. we decided to just for the fun of it finish that combat and see how long it takes. The combat went on for 7 more rounds of combat with that marine before I finally failed my save by 1. That horror made me so proud.

I rolled my truck on the PA turnpike on the way to Historicon on July 10th this year.
Hydroplaned in the heavy rain. Truck a total loss.
I was carrying a load of terrain that I was going to sell in the Flea market there.
When I left the ER, (just a few cuts and bruises, nothing serious), we went to the
place where my truck had been towed to and unloaded the boxes into my wife's brother's truck
and took them home.
The next day I opened the boxes fearing the worst.

SUPRISE!
no damage except some of the boxes were slightly crushed.

It's like it took a strength 10 hit and failed to be wounded. Me too for that matter.

I had one Dark eldar Wytch with an agonisers hold of an entire nid army?
She stood on their objective for the last three turns in a game. Made every save she needed (something like 15-20 per round) God the guy i was playing lost it! (he's actually a good guy and i like to play him, and i really can't blame him!)

To make things worse she was killing everything that came near her! (including Hive tyrants and Carnifexes)

Last week, I was touching up the paint on my Mephiston model and accidently dropped him on the floor. I had modelled him with the fragile backpack banner pole and was sure it snapped. When I picked up the model off the floor, it was unscathed, Mephiston's banner was still good to go. It was a great feat.

Also, he's killed lots of stuff in games )

Lol there are loads of posts here, I'm still Reading them but I've noticed there are lots of titans going nuclear, I haven't had that many games recently.

But the greatest feat that one of my friends did (or one of the funnyest) was to get a big mek stompa to pick up a chimera and smack a warhound titan with it (which did cause it to go nuclear) I would not like to be straken inside that chimera

I remember a fantasy game with my Vampire Counts against Chaos Daemons back in 7th Ed.
The champ of my mob of Skeletons was challenged by a Greater Demon of Khorne, which had 2 wounds left.
So I expected to see the mob to be completely destroyed, my opponent then rolled for the number of attacks and got pretty high, but he did not manage to wound anything.
So the champion of my skeletons was lucky and dared to touch him twice with his weapon, and then provided a great laugh as he even managed to wound the thing twice.
Then the dice for his save came to a halt - and it was suddenly quiet in the room. This one lame skeleton champ has bested the Greater Demon!

I recently added a Broadside suit to my Tau force. I had not been having to much luck with the Hammerhead doing its job. I went out to a battle against an Ork horde. My opponent had two trukks and a battle wagon. I fired at one of the trukks with the HH and failed to hit. Fired at it with the BS and blew it up with a couple of the orks inside. Next turn the BS took out the other trukk though the passengers all survived. Got a chance at the Battle wagon with the Hammerhead and again failed to hit, but the BS took it out. I think the Broadside earned its points and those of the hammerhead that game.

Bounced through a lord on dragon (killing them both), into the unit behind it, putting the small template almost dead center, and killing 2/3 of that unit...

90 point model takes out around 800 points!

My Dark Lord / Archon for my Dark Eldar Force has done two things that struck fear in my former Gaming Store.

#1. After his Incubi escort was wiped out, the Dark Lord stood alone against roughly 1200pts of Orcs remaining. (was a three way fight between Dark Eldar, Orcs, and Thousand Sons.) In the end, the Dark Lord soloed the entire Orc Force due to his Shadowfield. By the end of it, the Orc Player was cussing and tossing dice. It was awesome, but by the end of it I did feel kind of bad. Many Prisoners were taken! (this was under 3rd Edition rules mind you)


#2 Dark Lord destroyed a Warhound Imperial Titan with an Agoniser & Grenades. (again, 3rd Edition). Glanced it, immoblized it, and then detonated it with the Grenade the following Combat.

Powerfist Veteran Sargent, last surviving member of a vanilla (missile Launcher and Flamer) Tac squad kills BloodFeeder Chaos Terminator Lord! After the Lord killed his whole squad and a unit of terminators as well!

Last week! Very cool game, close fought!

My crowd control Dreadnought (As. Cannon & CCW/Flamer) surviving an entire battle, killing a Hive Tyrant and nearly 2 squads of Genestealers in the process while the rest of my army got slaughtered. He ending up going 1 on 1 with the last Genestealer, who also happened to be my opponent's last model. The 'stealer killed the dread with ease, but not without dying in the resullting blast. It was a battle to the last man, so we ended up having to call a tie

This isn't exactly overwhelmingly great but it is Tau. I had a three for all game the other day. I was down to 5 FW and my commander crisis suit. The other two armies on the table were a DIY SM and Eldar. The marines brought an assault squad on the board and missed his deep strike. My commander took out 2 of the 5 in my shooting and then survived 3 rounds of combat without taking a wound. The marines made 6 out of 7 armor saves. I was proud of my commander.

I had a chaplain in power armour single handily cut down two five strong squads of Plague Marines. He moved on a third, but didn't survive that one. It was glorious.

My favorite Shas'O survived being assaulted by a horde of Hormagaunts, and proceeded to kill them all in close-combat. Then there was a time he survived against and killed a power klaw wielding Big Mek in 2 rounds of combat. And finally, when shooting at a Monolith with a fusion blaster, I rolled 6-6-6 completely destroying it. Other wards some of my Firewarriors won combat against a horde of Hormagaunts and sweeping advanced them, I can't recall which of them since my Firewarriors don't have much personalization and are painted the same.

Orks:
My shokk attack gun faltered and launched the big mek right into a very irate shas'o (sadly it was built to be a fire-platform not a fighter!)

The big mek rammed a wrench into his face and SURVIVED the following enemey shooting phase, taking a total of 46 hits (some pulse rifle, burst cannon, even a railgun shot!), 13 wounds and made ALL of his cover saves (he consolidated into cover after molesting the shas'o lol!)

The following ork turn I charged the bigmek into a small group of firewarriors who were incharge of objective guarding, killed half of them. took a wound and they ran off the edge of the table.

Mek sat there for another turn before my boyz showed up to find his bullet riddled corpse still clinging to the objective.

I didn't leave a single tau alive.

That big mek is now holstering a shas'o head in his hand.

'Nother ork feat:
My enemy decided he would take many vehicle (rhinos/razorbacks/preds/LR) and i had a few BW's

Well one turn i noticed my one BW was stunned and he moved up pretty close to it with a tonne of his vehicles.. it wasn't stunned anymore and an idea came up..

I declared a ram straight forward with my deffrolla. 13 inches and plowed into the first rhino. blew it up, second vehicle a razor back. blew it up, third a vindicator. blew it up. and then finally the land raider. BLEW IT UP!
My opponent conceded after that.
That BW now has many hatches and doors as trophies.


Chaos funnies:
I had two chaos dreads TWO TURNS IN A ROW rolling crazed and shooting at each otherharmlessly. but when my opponent killed one the other went apeshit and killed 20 tactical marines, two rhinos and a loyalist dread.

'nother chaos funny

out of three defilers. they ran towards a reaver titan one managed to make it to the reaver and make it go nuclear. the defiler scored immobalized and proceded to drop pieplates until some one put it out of its misery lol

Recent game against Blood Angels, Turn 7, tied in kill points. I had two dakka Predators and a Tac Squad in a Rhino, my opponent had Death Company and a Reclusiarch. Reclusiarch, on the previous turn, had flown up a building and punched two Land Speeders to death. In response, the missile launcher fired at near maximum range, having only seen the Reclusiarch's head, hit wounded, and he failed his invlunerable save. Dead. Game over.

Also recently was playing 3-way as Tau an Ghazzy and his Nob Squad were about to smash my last remaining Fire Warriors off of their objective. In a move of desperation, I tank shocked Ghazzy with the Devilfish, and my opponent DoG'd with him. Penetrate.... Weapon Destroyed. Smooshed. Shooting the rest of the turn proceeded to wipe the Nobs away, and my opponent's then contested themselves away so that I won the game.

I started Necrons recently.

1. I didn't know that the Deceiver wasn't immune to instant death. He charged the Swarmlord, who caused a single wound, removing the C'Tan from play before the C'tan got to swing. *sigh*


2. In a 2,000 point game last night against 2,500 points of Orks (Kan-wall backed by 120 boyz and 45 Lootas), I had 6 wraiths and a destroyer Lord attack a unit of 30 boyz. I killed a bunch, and on the return swings, he killed all but one wraith (phew). That single wraith got 4/5 of the other wraiths back up, who teleported through a monolith, and assaulted another unit of 30 boyz. Again, that single wraith survives (and the destroyer lord), to win combat, allowing them all to WBB. They portal back through the monolith (5 wraiths and the destroyer lord). The destroyer lord breaks off from the wraiths and assaulted one boyz unit while the 5 wraiths assaulted the other boyz unit (now one wraith squad instead of two) and wiped them both.

I killed 60 boyz while losing 1 wraith. All because of a single wraith's unwillingness to fall over dead.

I made a mistake. That second assault, I multi-assaulted into 15 Lootas and a KFF. 6 models vs 55 models.

I killed the Lootas down to 10 (including the KFF) who failed leadership and ran off the board. =p

I finally have one!

During a free game last Sunday at the Silver Sorcerer, one of ArbitorIans Greater Demons while pounding my scout sentinel pentrated and exploded it, then in an impresive feat of rolling by Ian the ensuing S3 explosion took its last wound.

I like to think that the pilot sprung out a delivered the killing blow with his las pistol before fleeing the scene! (There will now be kill markings on that walker! )

My herald of khorne killded 7 plauge marines in 2 turns with one wound left , but was tostdead by a heavy flamer .

My Wolf Scout leader is a BEAR.
During a game against horde orks, his unit was assaulted by around 12 boyz (I had whittled them down) and things were looking grim. He then rolls a six on his wulfen attacks and proceeds to flat-out murder the same number of boyz. I may have yelled a great deal in joy at this stage. The rest of the Scouts mop up. Oh, my. All with 5 scouts.

3rd Ed.

Guard vs Ulthwe Strike Force (2000 Points):

The Eldar army was full of Seer Councils, Black Guardians, Vypers and War Walkers. It doesn't matter what my Guard had, because only one model did anything in this game - my Callidus Assassin.

Somehow, and I'm sure this cannot ever be repeated, this single Callidus Assassin held off and defeated a 2000 point Eldar army by herself. I kept his vehicles shaken, kept myself in HTH to shield myself during his shooting phases, and kept the entire army confined to one tiny quarter with no room to bring on additional models, working my way through Guardian squads, flipping out, re-charging in again, and so on. Lost a wound to a kick from a War Walker, but survived the game.

Rest of my army? Lost a few Guardsmen to long ranged shots, sent a few Autocannon rounds downrange, but it didn't matter. My Guard army spent most of the game not moving or shooting at all because there was no point. The Callidus did all the work.

Both my opponent and I were stunned at the end. Could not believe what we had just witnessed.

My 2 Hive Guards were lucky enough to blow up 2 Basilisk Tanks in 1 round of firing, IMMD

I had a Lone Wolf run across the board against my buddies Chaos, surviving Oblit/melta fire.....

Then a Tzeentch Prince came on from reserves and made him into a spawn. Which then assaulted a Wolf Guard Rhino behind him, immobilizing it...then assaulted the Wolf Guard that got out in a subsequent turn, killing 3 more before he finally died.

A Space Wolf....that seeks to avenge his brothers that were wiped out in a previous battle..by taking an oath to die in glorious combat....becomes a Chaos Spawn which then eats even more of his battle brothers.

GRIMDARK

A 5-man PaGK squad, in 2 turns, took down a Ball pred, which had opened fire in my opponent's previous turn. I assaulted, and destroyed it. Next turn, I was assaulted by 10 Red Rage assault marines. 2 turns later, they had all died, and I had only lost 1 GK. It was awesome.

I had a single nob take out a 5 man tac of marines to win the game and his name is tink tink. what now.

The one that comes to my mind is where me and my mate had a command squad and commander stand off. Basicaly a LR of any type, Kitted to the max command squad and commander. There was a points limit(can't remember).

Long story short, my LR gets wasted and before I make it into CC with his full command squad and commander I lose my command squad. Only guy left was the commander with his thunder maul(hammer) and storm sheild. I poceed to symte his armed to the teeth(for CC) squad and watse em all over 3 rounds, and down to 1 wound. Only to be shot down by 3 heavy bolter rounds from his LR sitting way back.


In WM, I(khador) shot a single motar shot into a players elite exemplar knight squad, all his army buffed up to be pretty hard. I proceeded to make the single most rememorable dice rolling ever. Think it was 7 knights, reduced I think to 1. Rolled 6 double 6's for strength of hit taken, killing all but 1 of them.

BTW, as many claim, my dice are cursed and have the worst luck with rolls. I hit with almost everything and then fail to do anything after that, or just fail to hit.

My assault squad sargeant with a power fist destroyed a six man squad of space marines including a captain with a power sword it was epic

In a spearhead match i had an unpainted battlewagon with deffrolla destroy 4 tanks in a IG tank line from a single Tankshock/Ram maneuvre !!!! The tank is now painted A very dark almost black purple and gold trim. It is now my Warboss' Gold Toof Wagon of Rolly Doom

my squad of 11 genestealers and a broodlord killed 2 full tactical squads, 2 squads of guardsmen, a devastator squad, a 5 man shooty terminator squad, popped a LR, and maimed half an assault squad before the game ended. the broodlord and 2 stealers were left, feasting on the mountain of corpses. it was a good day to be a tyranid! after the game my oppenents reation was this

Not sure which edition you played this in, but Space Marines can't get caught in Sweeping Advances in 5th ed. Nice story though!

As for my own story, I was playing my SM army against a Tyranid player, who fielded 3 Trygon's. I had a squad of Sternguard Veterans, attached with Lysander and Tigurius, teleport (via Gate of Infinity) to within Rapid Fire range of the 3 Trygons. They opened up on one of them with Hellfire Rounds, causing about 16 wounds. Trygon couldn't handle that many wounds, and fails at least 6 saves. One Trygon down. I then have some long range shooters take another Trygon down to a single wound.

On his coming turn, he charges me with the 2 remaining Trygons along with 2 groups of Genestealers. I have Tigurius go toe-to-toe with the unwounded Trygon, and the rest of the squad go up against the Genestealers. His Trygon takes all his attacks on Tigurius, and manages to kill him, but not before Tigurius wounds him twice. I then use the Force Weapons "Instant Death" ability, fail the first test, but make the second one. 2 Trygons down. The last Trygon (with 1 wound), manages to kill 2 Veterans, and the Genestealers manage to kill another 2. Lysander takes down 3 of his own, and the Veterans manage to kill 3 Genestealers of their own. I win combat by 6 wounds, due to the fresh Trygon taking Instant Death, and the last Trygon fails 2 of it's Fearless saves. 3 Trygon's down.

And as for the other groups of Genestealers, one got reduced to 2, and the other down to 9 (Total of 7 failed their Fearless saves between the 2 groups). Next round of CC, Lysander and the Veterans clean house on the other 2 groups of Genestealers and press on. By the end of the game, Lysander was still standing, along with the Veteran Sgt.

I technically only tied the game b/c we were playing "Capture and Control", but we house ruled in that if it was a tie we'd go by Kill Points. So by our house rules, I won 11 - 6.

My greatest feat with my guardsman was when I played my friend. He played Tau and I had Imperial Guard. I had five spare guardsmen and we agreed i could field them as an extra unit.
I footslogged them into close combat with ten tau firewarriors. 3 of them died on the way there. but two survived and killed off 10 tau firewarriors and 2 kroot.
I nicknamed those two guardsmen Chucky and Marbo jr.

My dreadnought from the Black reach boxed set, assaulted Fugan the fire dragon pheonix lord. survived 2! penning hits and then proceeded to take the last 2 wounds off the phoenix lord which promptly failed his 3+ inv saves for both and dies horribly.

Cue basing kit eldar helm painted red on the dreads base....

Yesterday I played in a friendly tournament with my frined playing tau allied with my nids.

In 2 of the 3 games we played, my Doom of Malan'tai finished the game with 10 wounds. Against a Space Wolves/ Chaos marine army, he deepstriked in spore between two troops squads, one chaos and a wolf squad with the wolf lord in it. 7 wounds later, the wolf lord is standing with one wound left wondering where all his warriors went, and the chaos player lost 3 more guys.

Later that game Cataclysm wiped out the squad with the chaos lord in it heading for our objective with a S10 blast. Fortunately he the lord passed his 5+ invul.

The following game, the Doom scared the entire Salamander force away from their one objective (Capture and Control game) for fear of having their essence leeched. He literally hovered after them and forced them into the path of the waiting Tyrant that then began feasting.

Don't know if I've contributed already but back in 5th edition I bough a unit of 10 skavenslaves for 50 points just to fill out the army. They were charged by a chaos general and his knights, a unit worth 800 point or something daft when you add up the knights, general and all the various magic items. Well they stood their ground for two turns before breaking but outran the pursuing knights. The following turn they rallied following a roll of snake-eyes against their leadership and instantly overcame the fear test and threw themselves back against the knights and tied them up for the remainder of the game. Ok they were wiped out eventually, but when 50 points of troops tie up 800 points for a whole game it makes you proud of the little fellas.

Killed my

I have a Chaos Havoc who has destroyed two land raiders, both times on the first turn. Also have a Skull Champion w/ Powerfist who brought down a Baneblade, ran down 30 or so orks and fisted Zagstruck in an apocalypse game, after all his Brother-Slaughterers had been fragged by a basilisk squadron.

I know this is a bit ot, but the biggest fail has to be Abaddon hacking his way through 2 Wraithlords, a squad of wraithguard, and countless howling banshees and Striking scorpions (he lost all his termy guard on the way). He then (with 4 wounds remaining) charged a squad of guardians hunkering in cover. They struck first as they were in cover, (hitting on 5s, wounding on 6s iirc) and wounded him 4 times. All 4 saves were failed -.-

Really more of a failure for me but

3 Deffkoptas firing at a mob of 'zerkers. 4 hits 2+ to wound. Cue 3

Majority of my battleforce survived a devastating apocalypse missile strike. Also 3 stormtroopers manage to brig down a Trigon prime (probably not that impressive but oh well)

My tau firewarriors winning vs hormagaunts in melee.. we drew 4 times until I killed the last one...

I had a game also where the broadside took out dante and the emperors champion (vs allied blood angels and black templars)

Today a lone Khorne Berzerker with plasma pistol killed marbo in CC, shot a twin linked lascannon vrom a vendetta, killed a chimera, and died after going to ground being shot by to las cannons , rolled a 5 and a 6

I'll post for my friend since he doesn't have an account, then post my own story. I ran a squad of blood angels terminators, half TH/SS, half lightning claws with a librarian in termie armor w/ a SS and a sanguine priest in termie armor. He was playing tau and shot EVERYTHING he had at the unit. Eventually it was down to a single termie with lightning claws and the librarian. They split up to charge 2 separate units and killed both units. The lightning claw termie then ran into a unit of broadsides with shield drones, dealt a single wound (bad termie) and the broadsides all wiffed. A single shield drone flew into my terminator's face and killed him. Damn frisbee of death.

My epic feat was this same unit that ran through a horde of 30 ork boyz, got shot 108 times in a turn by orcs and lost ONE terminator, assaulted the two closest units and started smearing the table with them. I lost 3 terminators in a grand total of 168 ork shots (including missile launchers) and about 75 close combat attacks. Regardless of a 2+ armor and feel no pain, I'm pretty sure this unit should have died 2-3 times over. Of course, my librarian giving the unit preferred enemy and a single model +D3 attacks (cough cough lightning claw termie) per turn due to his epistolary status...yea, it was a good day

I had Thraka and a nob squad charge at my tactical squad and managed to wipe the entire unit with the tacs. Marine Kalidus punched Thraka in the face and killed him. Really the one spectacular thing Ive done.

lolwhut? 10 Tactical Marines don't have enough attacks to kill Ghazkull alone, not to mention even a minimum sized squad of Nobs. Not even over 7 turns... Someone could Mathhammer it if they wanted.

Anyway, my Vulkan last night went on a rampage, killing a depleted Assault Terminator squad that included another Vulkan, chasing the other guy's Vulkan off the board while taking a charge from a Space Marine Bike squad on the next turn and winning and chasing them off as well.

Last week ORK+ daemons with scarbrand vs my blood angels and Tau DC, dread charges a blob of 30 orks, I was hoping the DC would of gotten there too, crappy DT test = no charge. DC dread manages to kill 29 orks and puts one wound on the nob with the blood talons and the Nob manages to immobilize the dread before running off.

Also during the course of the game my Shas'o Took out a truck on turn one, another on turn two, A soul grinder on turn 3, two killer kans on turn 4 Before scarbrand charged from 18 inches through cover to ruin his day

I had three mechanithralls box out my opponents thunderhead after it energy pulsed the others to death.

My termie Reclusiarch with DC taking on Jain Zar and her 5 banshee pals.

Needless to say, the DC got their faces pwned, and Zar put a on 3(?) wounds on my Reclusiarch. Made all his saves and he then proceeded to ever so slowly take out all 4 of her wounds. By slowly I mean 4 turns. All the while not losing one wound.

Same game, my dev sergeant with his bolt pistol took out 4 bikers.

A single Lascannon Team of mine took down a a full strength bane blade a land raider one wound off of abbadon and they did it with one shot

In true Lone Wolf fluff fashion;

A unit of my Grey Hunters had their Rhino popped by a melta killing one in the subsequent explosion. A nearby plasma cannon and dreadnought with assault cannon knocked the pack down to three remaining members. Said dreadnought then assaulted the remaining three (Mark of Wulfen GH, melta gunner GH, and powerfist GH). After losing two packmates, powerfist GH scores the necessary hit to wreck the dreadnought.

I am now modeling a Lone Wolf in TDA with a chainfist and storm shield to represent his desire to kill as many dreadnoughts as he can in revenge for his fallen brethren.

I got a good one my DP with one wound left turnded the Night bringer into a blob of spawn!

One of my freshly painted wolf guard termies survived a drop from the bookshelf and being savaged by a mad cat.

Other than this it is a great feat for any of my minis to be alive on the table at the end of a game.

Empire army. My general is leading a unit of spearmen.

Caradryan, (HE who inflicts d6 wounds on the model that kills him) gets into combat with a unit of HEs and challenges. I can't retire my general, 'cos I'll get my ass kicked. I can't fight because I'll lose my general. I decide to buy a turn and send my champion to his death...

... and he kills Ceradryan. Dies for his efforts, but what a hero.

Not the greatest feat, but even my opponent had to laugh at his bad luck.
