Scourge wings look excellent. Not sure on bloodletter head, looks a wee bit bulky, though hard to tell without the termie's arms.

Thanks Graven, The whole body is going to be built up with a spine on the top, so the idea is the termi body is a daemon body So it might look better then. I then need to do some arms with extra long pointy fingers.

Night Lords have always reminded me of Fantasy Undead.

I have a great old plastic bat, about 30mm, that I'll fling in your bag. Got your goodies, muchas gracias.

Ha, I'm in one of those, finding it hard to get on with stuff moments.

Oh I forgot to say here, that thanks to Gitsplitta and yellowbeards FireHawk comp. I am now a DCM Gits provided it as a special secondary prize

I know I've got many many other things to do, but I really enjoyed doing the Firehawk comp, so could not resist this one.

This evening I spent a couple of hours finding and prepping my take on a Deathwatch marine for Inmygravenimage's comp.

I'm de-chaosing the pads, legs and arms, keeping the skulls inplace for the deathwatch theme.

Cut off the chaos bolt pistol and will replace it with the chaos bolter with a scope, because thats how the Deathwatch chaps like it

Thanks Bio, I've got an ulta pad too, but the U is too weedy. Also I want the skulls on each pad to match so I need to use these chaos ones.

What chapter are you going for?

Either Scythes of the Emperor or Star Phantoms to tie in with the rest of my guys. I havent really decided yet.

Ahh yes the Star Phantoms, if you did a sholder pad with the skulls hourglass symbol protruding that would be cool but scthes would be intresting too

Scythes would be quite fluffy as they sent a lot of marines to the DW. The SP are my main Imperial force at the min though so I think I will go with them for now and build a Scythe later as I have quite a few DW pads. Im looking at how to do the Star Phantoms hourglass at this very minute. Your use of the chaos pads gave me an idea

Yes, I can see how you could use one of those chaos skull pads I'm sure you can puul it off

Got a bow for my assassin today, swopped some stuff with graven to get the DE bitz. I've got to do a hood cloak for him now.



Also got this, for another night lord type thing!! He's got riding legs though, so need to do him, on a horse or bike arms are just to check for size.

You need to drill the barrel of his Bolt Pistol.

Loving the look of the Assassin, can you not maybe use one of the Wood Elf heads? Im sure I saw one that was hooded. You could bore out the original head/face?

Those are looking nice, tipios. I particularly like the posing on the assassin. Are there no other legs you could use on the Night Lord? Maybe from a Warrior of Chaos or Chaos Chosen or something?

I tried adding a skull to the GK body I had, but I really wanted to have wings too. So when I saw the templar torso, it was perfect.

That's really clever using the skull on the BT torso. Nicked!

Cool!! I can't find or remember where I got the skull from. It's on a chain with spikes all around it, the outer circle really helps with the deathwatch theme.

I use silicon tip clay shapers and the GW GS tool.


The helmet was chucked in with an order from ebay, so I also have know idea where it is from

Helmet is from the Space Wolves Upgrade kit for the Space Marine squad.

Thanks for the new link. I'm hoping to work on my DW entry this afternoon when I get up. I think the new helmet is a much better scale than the csm head so looks a lot better.

Primed assassin, but have no plan on colour scheme. Black is obvious for armour but not sure how to go about it.

Great concept for an assassin. This is coming together nicely.
