well the three contenental superpowers are actually there if you look properly... the middle east bands together as does the western portion of the world... and tbh, I doubt it would take too much to unite asia major as a whole either... it's scary how prophetic that book is. anways small update on this front, i am stripping the first Valk, which will have a diorama of the infantry hopping out/some kind of action with painted interrior. Here it is seeping in a stew, the other valk...half built with super glue, and half plastic. So disassembly is night impossible, had to even break out a dreamel and grind off the 1.5inches thick plastic glue on the front that was holding the forward sensors in place... Sigh.

For the overly glued models, I feel your pain! I've had a rhino come in the post before that looked like it had just be dunked in PVA a few times, people are unbelievable!

Some people indeed, also one valk was painted like the terminator with 1/16inch thick paint. i measured.... SO MUCH SOAKING! normal paint is 1/32 or something around that mark. It is a stupid amount of aircraft, but i traded a stupid amount of leman russes and chimeras around 20-30 of each set to get this stupid amount of planes. Aye jpaint i am also running two threads! i have my orks now too. double modeling half the painting! how did you save that rhino?!

as for the diorama, i was thinking of having 6/7 guys jumping off the plane with jet packs going off over a lovely base.

The diorama sounds promising, will be hard to pull it off but I'm sure you'll manage it just fine! As that is why this blog has been quiet! I will have to hunt down your other one!

As for the jetpacks going off, i was thinking of having the mini's attached in a small manor, like by the toes and such or the flames of their jet packs. However i risk making the streams to large if that happens, but if you have suggestions i am open to them.

so the minis will be attached to the planes then?...hmm...indeed i see complicated long flames then...hmmm...and clear acrylic or plastic rods for support connected to the flyers? would that work? i dunno if the rods would be sturdy enough... the least you want to happen is that the rods are bending under the weight of any minis...would look very akward then...

Well i did the base lighting color, decided it was too much work for a entire bay that no one is going to see. I also have no effective method to leave the rear hatch open without it snapping off 24/7 so i had to close that thus the only way to look into the cave leaves the painting point less. Those photos i had to use a flash to get them to not be pitch black.

remember that I painted my interior too!

I looked, and its nice and good, but 1 my roof doesnt come off, 2 my hatchs are 9/10 closed because thats my fluff, 3 interior is not something i will cry over. I do enjoy your model tho, just wish open hatches didn't go against my fluff have no fear, i will do a diorama, and this was just a training run.
