Not being online the last few weeks is because of the weather, excuse me for not letting anything know gentleman.

I've not been up to much painting the last weeks, what i did is clean some stuff up and (re)base my older SW marines, doing some commisioned work now, a traitor marine and some other stuff pic's will be up later today, until then:

Chaos Lord on Juggernaut of Khorne!
Been waiting for this for a while now.
Since i started on my WoC army i've wanted a lord/hero on Juggernaut,
The models for this character by GW are so monotone(everyone is using them) and so boring,
And since GW released the Bloodcrushers of Khorne box, the conversion of a similiar model is at hand...

But,
There's a catch, the lord itself is a simple Chaos Knight,
Not hard to get on a bitz site but the Juggernaut itself was a pain to get since a box o' em are 43,00 euro and i just needed one of the juggz i searched for someone who wanted 2 of the juggz so we could make a deal heh?

Well that didn't work so after searching for months i found a (local) website that just opened up that is selling the damn bastards,
So i've ordered one and i started on the lord itself and not to make the cool awesome story any longer let's settle that with a WIP shot!

The horns on that Lord are awesome...... You need to tell me how to do that for future reference! Nice silver on the Necron Lord! You also have a neat new twist on paint red into the details.... very unique and refreshing!

About the horns: just a simple basecoat of Pale Sand, if you are using only Citadel the color's name is Bleached Bone+ a simple yet effective wash of Devlan Mud thats all bud!

Thats it on the horns?! Looks like you spent a long time on them.

Well that and a Vallejo air Steel coat on the metal parts and there he is again: Devlan Mud!

......Ah... the beauty of washes.......cant get enough of them....I really like your SW Wolf, the mosr recent one is my favoret! I hope that mine will look somewhat of that quality when their done.

Hey loks pretty good Wolf.... I really like the look of those Warriors. Very nice red on them. The fur on those pups is very well done. Whats that on the termies bases..... cat litter!?

Thnx man and no that ain't kitty litter, it's colored sand used for decoration( for in glass bottles and stuff). but 500gr of the stuff is only $0,80 so with 2 bags i am basing mini's since i started basing

Well just got an airbrush.... and am now doing pretty much the same thing as Eggroll is for his BA. Very simple nice tabletop quality. Only going to spend time on HQ pieces anymore. I dont need to get max detail on each marine as that will just make me hate painting. I know I can do pretty well on a marine if I wanted to and that is good enough for me. So here they are. All are WIP.







Here is my Libby done up...... This was all done with a brush as I did not have an airbrush at the time.

Dang good job on them.

The only thing I'd say is the dred. It's too flat.

I think they are a good start, and you're saying they are WIP (you always do) but to me the red looks weird. In some places it's light where it should be dark and dark where it should be light.

What do you mean....on the dread?

A lot of places. Shin pads, shoulder pads, and especially the dread. Did you spray a wash or do some zenithal?

I really dont see what you are talking about...... They have black in pretty much the same places as eggrolls. I like them the way they are.

Not been up to much painting/modelling the last days but what i did is started a new army!

Ta-dada-daaaa:

My new army for 40k is Crimson Fists!

Didn't buy any models but made a tactical squad and an assault squad + a 5 man terminator squad from bitz!

Nice stuff there Wolf! I have never seen Termis with regular Spcae Marine helmets on. That is a good idea as the regular termi helmets look not unlike cows.

Excellent job on the painting. I did however notice that the banner in the above picture has a silvered decal. Always glass coat your models before decals. My general rule is, if I think its shiny enought, give it one more coat to be sure. Then the decals will sniggled right down and you wont even know it was there. But excellent job thus far

I think I should dry brush a bit around the hard lines on the skin to soften the look. Where was I this past year? Why did I not get Orks in the first place?

Hey all, didn't made much progress the last few days but what i did was wash the metallic parts of the Whirlwind and under+basecoated the skytalon and painted the basecoated the metallic parts, see pics!!!!!

The blue from the stormtalon is a new blue i made mixing Vallejo Prussian Blue and the new Citadel Macragge Blue, i noticed the blue stands out more when highlighting with Magic blue(Vallejo).
