I basically have to play support all the time. If I want to play without my group of mates, I just have to deal with a team of 3+ carries with me as Venomancer/Ancient Apparition/Earthshaker, etc.
With the bracket switchup, I was moved down to Mariana Trench bracket for a reason I cannot fathom.
On my way back up to High/Very High. I love playing games with the pros.

What's your I.D.? I'd like to see some of your Very High games.
I always play support, except for the very rare games where some people on my team manage to random supports. Pity the only carry I really know how to play is OD.

I'm not HIgh/Very high yet. I'm in Normal(AKA Mariana Trench) bracket along with 90% of the playerbase it seems.
When I get there, I'll be more than happy to show you my 5 stacked games.

Well, you mentioned that you loved playing with pros, it seemed to imply that you were High/Very high.
So who all will I have to watch out for when Lord of Avernus comes out? I only played Accursed twice and fell in love with him, so I'm not sure who to watch out for....
Ancient Apparition seemed to be a top one, until I remembered that my sheild will get rid of the No Heal Debuff.
Well, this week brings us Lanaya, the Templar Assassain.
Here is the Dota Cinema vid
I've honestly never played her, so I'm going to read up a few guides, and play a few bot rounds, before hitting her up. She seems like a pretty good Solo mid.

She's a royal pain in the arse.
Extreme range slow traps, invisible with critical hits and damage buff and armor reduction.... ugh...
in a word ,dota 1 is better than dota 2,You know evony? perfect, the evony team is now developing a new game tynon featuring city building, farm managing and quest doing, and this game is quite similiar to the browser mmo odin quest by youjoy. Well, these two games are great. just check my review or video and screenshots for these browser mmo games.
And things like attack animations are design choices. Giving all heroes zero cast wouldn't suddenly make the game better.
Well, looks like you haven't played Dota 1.
Production values mean nothing.
This has nothing to do with instant cast. Dota 2 has a tiny delay on every single action you take. For someone who's never played dota 1 this is a non issue. For everyone who has it's a giant pain in the arse. The game simply isn't as fluid.

And obviously the lack of imperative heroes is there as well.
DotA is just better. Once the delay is fixed and all the heroes are ported, then it will be superior.

You complained about attack animations which have everything to do with cast delay and are design choices. It's like complaining about reload times or scope in being longer in one FPS over another.

There is an artificial 25 ms delay, but I don't see how that could influence anyone's perception of the game, unless you're somehow used to playing with sub 30 ping.
I like getting Dagon on Visage. It's a hilarious dual nuke system. Blast with Dagon, get lots of soul charges for Soul Assumption, blast with Soul Assumption.
Swordwind wrote:Triple release in the test patch. Visage, Ezalor and Nyx are out now.
Two of the heroes I've been waiting for are out. As a frequent Pugna and OD player, though, Nyx scares the crap out of me.
It also looks like we may be looking at the final pool for TI2, since according to Cyborgmatts blog, there were no new particle updates, or texture stuff. The only thing we got, were Minimap Icons for Meepo, and maybe Magnataur.
You know, KotL doesn't make sense to me. He deals more with mana than Light with his main spells, they should have put the skillset on something more like Outworld Destroyer.
Swordwind wrote:They wouldn't really synergise all that well with OD's skillset. He already has a pseudo-mana drain and a skill that provides mana to allies.
I meant another "Outworlder". Kinda like how Visage and Razor are linked.

My avarage ping in most MP games is below 20.
And that makes all the difference. The point is, it's not the same as the original dota and thus theres still A LOT of players who aren't even bothering to switch over.
