Quite a different story if everybody gets it. But its kind of sad if your family is so large you dont even know the childs of your childs of your childs grandchildren.
Really the outcome depends on the person. You see that as being a bad thing. I see it as being able to fall in love not once in a life time, but many times in a life time. Would it be hard? Yes of course. But it would also be an incredible experience sharing the life of so many people. The best part is, after some time, and the knowledge youve acquired, you would be better able to describe such feelings to later generations.
And who says you HAVE to know your great great great great grand children? I would personally keep tabs on them just cause. And again, if your Immortal (and lets not forget to allow your brain to function perfectly as well, so you dont, you know, run of of memory) you would be able to remember them all, even if you just chronicled them like a historian. I think it would be one of many projects

Agreed. Believe it not, some people still hold doors open for strangers, or help old ladies across the street, or watch neighbors houses when they are on vacation and so on and so on and so on. The world is dark for sure, no arguing that, but it still has a LOT of good in it as well.
