Where does it say ANYWHERE that you receive a +2 bonus for party?

Wahey! +2 bonus for party! Bring out the ale and the tankards!

.... What? You don't get the +2 bonus for party after all? Damn...

Blood lance you're the one looking foolish right now. You were wrong, and you were trying to correct someone how was right. I'd just walk away from this one as FlingitNow has every right to be testy with someone who can't be bothered to read the rules properly before they try to correct someone else.

And once again, I made a simple mistake, I read the rules, and made a mistake. Believing he has the right to be an arsehole towards someone who made a mistake as simple as 4++ =/= 5++ in my eyes is weird. It seems this thread has been dipping in and out of being purely that.

How about we return to the topic and lay off insulting each other over minor errors.

Thank you.

All the commenters online seem to be raving about marching Gyrocopters up the flanks of enemy hordes and spraying them with steam.

Are we sure gyrocopters can march and fire? If they're skirmishers, fast cav or flying cav, they can. If they're just Flying, they can't.

If gyrocopter can be purchased in units of at least 2 they gain skirmisher rule reguardless.

No copters are 1 model units.

It seems you are correct. The Steam Gun is not a Breath Weapon so you can't march and shoot with it. Good catch!

Same would be true of the brimstone guns or clatterguns or whatever they are, since Quick to Fire still doesnt get rid of the March = Cant Fire thing.

And then tried to make it out like he was being unjustly treated and everyone else were overreacting.

I think you are reading things that aren't there, Blood. All you had to say was "yeah, you're right. My bad." Instead of the whole "woah woah woah"-victimisation thing, and no one would have pressed it any further.

Has anyone gotten any games in with the new bomber? I'd love to hear how it performs.

Something I found which is a great boon to Flame Cannons, if a little beardy - the template is placed after the distance is resolved if you supercharge and the only restriction on it is the narrow end needs to be closest to the cannon. This basically makes it work like a 40k torrent flamer with some scatter, so you can really maximise hits on units by placing the template almost sideways against hordes, or mostly straight against deep rank anvils. This is potentially very brutal, as you can reliably get huge amounts of hits on hordes and it causes panic if even one dies. Due to D3 wounds, it's also brutal VS almost any unit. IMO, this is the new Organ Gun in terms of 1+ because it's so strong.

That's what I thought about the flame cannon too, I spoke with my opponents and let them read it before telling them my conclusion and they came to the same one, flame cannon is back to where it was before 8th messed it up, if not slightly better

Where are you getting that the small end has to be nearer to the cannon than the fat end?

The rule which says " this is where the teardrop-shaped template is placed (the narrow end closest to the Flame Canon)"? You can't cheese it so much that it fires backwards...
