Basically the WitchBlade is a force weapon, focussing the Psychic Powers of the one who wields it - and I don't think Merric is a Psyker .

Except the Depot at this point completely stripped from the Ork Looters. But you might run into them.

So, the ork's cramped on the character limit?

Well, now that I think about it, I think that may have been what happened. When I joined in, I simply had three characters, where two of them died. Then I had a new one with a smaller mob with him, there he and a handful died when chasing one group.
But I'm just thinking in a way that an Ork would preferably have a couple of lads backing up most of the time.

There's 4 Iron Warriors, all more than 10.000 years old, coming at you, two of whom with Terminator Armor.

Marines these days don't understand the value of man-man combat. Its a disgrace.

Most don't but there are a few that do. I think the Space Wolves take trophies.

Most chapters dot, but part of the hounds of loken fluff is that they already have a massive skeleton in the closet, so they don't really care about small things like that.

yeah, I get the feeling I'm going to have to use that for Avicus. unless I can get to those orks and take back my armour. meh, unless I run into a powa klaw the orks don't got gak on me.

I really doubt that the Ultras will make it. The Chaos Marines really have it out for them and they aren't well equipped to kill them all. I am rooting for Tross and Li'sai, though.

Of course, Ultramarines do have adamantium grade plot armor so I don't know.

Do you guys have any suggestions for what the Inquisitor's device should do? I am thinking that it blocks synapse for Nids but that is all I got.

Oh, I should explain something. I decided to make up my own weapon type for the guns the Eisenkern Stormtroopers are modeled. Basically Heavy Autogun=Hotshot Lasgun. Heavy Repeating Autogun=Hotshot Volley Gun. The main difference is they use bullets instead of lasers. They work pretty much the same otherwise.

If you want. You don't have to since a lot of the Nids and Orks are dead. The Ultras and the Eldar are going to fight if they survive the fight with the Orks.

I honestly really liked your writing so if you really want to keep it you can, but you took one of the two remaining ships for yourself (which is ok) without encountering any of the three enemies stationed there, Two bio titans and a tyrant (I dont expect you to fight all of them solo, but you drove into the heart of a nid hive woth VERY little effort) So you may wish to make some edits...

Are they on the roof? I did what I did because I figured the Orks killed most of the nids off.

But yeah, I will change the ending to one with more party deaths.

I didn't mean to come off as introducing characters just to be meat shields for ones I wanted to preserve. I just wanted to tell a better story than "The Eldar go up the flight of stairs killing the occasional straggler until they meet the Tyrant. The Tyrant beats the tar out of them, the Exarch dies and they run like hell. The fight against the Bio Titans but find themselves severely, horribly outmatched. FArseer kills himself to buy them enough time to escape. The end.".

I was actually emulating the ending sequence of the level "343 Guilty Spark" where the squad of Marines Master Chief finds holed up in the facility get butchered by the Flood. Serves no other purpose other than to show how badass the flood is. Or what happens when you give the friendly fire happy Marine AI shotguns.

My way involves a dead ork, a lot of melta explosives, and the thing tyranids are best at. Eating.

Alpharius and his buddies have got some speshiul information with them which needs to be delivered.

Yes, you could get in the ship while the orks are distracted fighting the big stuff, or if they live to see the ship take off, they might get "saved" in the epilogue.

we've laughed, we've cried, we've shot, we've died, we've nearly been molested by a possessed space elf.
but all good things have to come to an end, and my friends, that end is nigh. we have to figure out how this is going to happen. I think me and the blood angels get the ship, then the chaos pepes can just warp out. every one cool with that?

My marines will grab the bloodangels, run up the stairs, push the alpha legion guy down the stairs, run, get in the ship and take off. Then the chaos space marines can flee through the portal ashiraya made.
Then I will post an epilogue.

I assume my Plague Marines have left already, leaving the world to the mercy of a rapidly growing Daemon portal, Tyranids, and an incoming Exterminatus...
