Only two games this week, but quiet & calm is a nice campaign night.
Man, I'm old.
Anyway, my game was crazy because I was facing this:
That's right, eight Leman Russ chassis and one hell hound (and a
FW flyer) against my new list:
4 Tauroxes with 5 man squads each, the squads had: pair of meltas in one, pair of flamers in another, pair of volley guns in the third & a
CS with 4 plasmas in the fourth.
2 Leman Russes myself; a demolisher & regular
BC LR.
Chimera with 10 vets, 3 melts
Manticore,
Aegis Defense Line and Culexus assassin just in case a Leman Russ pilot gets out to take a wiz.
But after 4 turns, it looked like this:
And after 5 turns, we had:
The game ended with only his two
FW tanks, a Punisher &
FW flyer alive, but I have everything alive except for my vets & their Chimera that he had killed turn 2. Somehow the Tauroxes stayed in enough cover to survive a crazy scary game.
