You should just keep you mouth closed seeing how this thread is about you and its 10 pages of complaints

Sean, I'm tired of your lies and excuses. You were served, court date is being set up, and you'll finally get what's yours. I still have the receipt from my deposit . Off the top of my head I can list 5 people I've been speaking to you who think you're a thief and a criminal, not even guys from this thread, I just think you're a horrible person and business owner.

This is supposed to be to anyone and everyone who has been screwed over by Sean Duncan of Battlegrounds Wargaming. Send me a message and I'll let you know how to go about getting your stuff back. I know how frustrating he can be, and to be honest I can't even believe he's still allowed to post on this site and have a page for his business.
I would love to get as many people as possible in on this, so just shoot me a message.

Interestingly, there's been little to no activity on the Facebook page since beginning of this month and the website domain has expired.

Were his prices super cheap or something, looking at some of his pics, his minatures weren't anything great?

We don't ban people for things they do outside of this site. Even with the Matthew Bonder sagas, he was still allowed to post on Dakka.

Plus, it does give him an avenue of communication with the rest of you.

This is not helpful. This thread is about people getting what is owed to them.

Reminder! Please refrain from posting unless you are one of the involved parties. Thank you.

I sent you a pm, I have a lot of information on this topic that might be useful, I also am a fellow Canadian.

Nearly 2 years, and still no pictures or any proof that any work has been done on my project, despite repeatedly being lied to about my project being 'almost done' or 'shipping out in the next week'

All claims of Sean being unable to take pictures have fallen on deaf ears. Somehow he can take pictures/video of other projects, and unboxings, but can't manage to fulfill outstanding client requests.

I have been, and am currently in correspondence with the local authorities.

Battlegrounds Wargaming wrote:As I said before this is pointless. I've already stated that I've moved on with the BGW thing month ago and getting new projects is the only way to fund staying home and painting to have time to finish up the few outstanding orders.

What I love is he's exactly explaining a ponzi scheme.

Would just like to add here, I successfully sued Sean for exactly what others have mentioned here. 4 months, not a drop of paint. Of course the scam artist is judgement proof (no money in the bank) but I am a creditor so good luck with the piece of gak getting a loan of any kind. The suit was under his personal name.

This was after i showed up at his door enough to get my models safely back first (thankfully). They were left outside in the snow of the house he was being evicted from at the time. So I added in value of the damaged models to the lawsuit.

I also reported him to the better business bureau at the time, you can see the unresolved dispute on their website under his companies name.

From the whole process I can tell you one thing for certain, he was intentionally screwing people over and had no intention of completing mine or others jobs. He is also well known to several local police officers.
