Fable 2 (I was avoiding it and finally picked it up 2 weeks ago. It was... eh. Oh, and in about an hour, I'll be answering Fallout: New Vegas! )
The Orks would overwhelm everyone and everything. But, since the main character is unkillable (really? no deaths at all? the only challenge is to not got any scars? what were the devs thinking? ), he would eventually kill all the orks.
What if the last game I played I was the Waaaaagh!?
The game I played before that was Singularity. The game character would probably live, seeing as how he can, you know, CONTROL TIME and turn people into TIME ZOMBIES.

well if hes unkillable ide like tosee what a scar looks like after getting blown to bits by Killkannon
The UNSC would either get their asses royally kicked by not one but two alien empires, or would manage to retreat and regroup while the Covenant diverted all resources to fighting off the Orks.
Mr Mystery wrote:God of War 2.
Kratos might not win, but both sides would have a whale of a time!
Then you my Friend need to play God of war 3.
After killing most of the gods and a titan.... Im sure kratos would be able to handle a measly Waaagh
Ya know me and my friends had this debate earlier, considering Kratos dies and comes back from Hades on a regular basis its interesting, but then again hes never been EXPLODED by a Stompa
It's too horrible to think about! Then again, Mario would have all those heads to bounce off of so he would have a practically infinite number of lives...
Hearts of Iron 2.
So it would be panzers versus battlewagons and wehrmacht vs boys.
Maybe Hitler could upgrade to mecha hitler from return to castle wolfenstein and kick some warboss ass.

That made me lol.
For me, I played MW2 last. Humans are going to die.
ChrisWWII wrote:I think the Allies, Soviets, and the Empire of the Rising Sun could put up a good fight. BUt of course, they would be crushed sooner or later.
...I suddenly have the mental image of a Looted Kirov airship. I want one.
A friend of mine just started an Airborne Ork army, zeppelins counts-as wagons. Also scratch built a chinork. Should be on his blog somewhere: http://matt285uk.blogspot.com/ also note: Squigachu
But it was ninja'd by Civ 4 this morning so I just want to say I've crushed the Red Army, the Iron Youth and the Empire of the Rising Sun bring on the Green Tide but make sure they leave room to run away.
I would assume since I played System Shock 2 this morning (yay for old games!) that SHODAN could just confuse the Orks to death with cyberspace mode.
Oh, and the psychic monkeys. Of course, the hacker would be totally screwed.
Just installed borderlands again... I think Brick and his exploding fists and 99.99% damage reduction would put down have the waaaaagh before it ran out.
So I guess we can go back to Medal of Honor. I'd say the first several Orks to show up are pretty well fethed...but a man can only carry so much ammunition. And I'm sure we can all imagine what an Ork would do to an unarmed human.
Fallout New Vegas - Considering the fact that I am kitted out with a plethora of heavy weapons, just got myself some holy hand grenades, and was last at the top of a large tower. Most of those orks are going to be screwed pretty hard
facing armies upon armies of noobs on halo. All by myself. And I have a shotgun and a pistol and a sniping position. And they have over 200,000 of them in total. I think i can do this!
Ahtman wrote:Last I played was Lord of the Rings Online. We killed orcs by the dozens so I think we'd be ok.
Your right, you killed ORCS by the dozens.
These be Orks mate, a whole new breed of violent psychopaths that can fly planes and control building sized robots that shoot bullets the size of Volkswagons
That would be win. A tank rampaging through a horde of orks. Boomer puking up all over the place, calling in thousands of beserking zombies. And then a team of 4 guys killing thousands of both!
Hmm Azeroth thought they had it bad when the burning legion invaded.
Of course if Thrall can somehow convince Orks to side with the Horde, (it's possibly, they might think they are feral Orks) then its going to be real ugly for the Alliance.
Of course its more likely the world would just implode from the two IP's meeting one another. It could only be worse if I'd been playing Starcraft 2.
Well Rednecks can probably replenish their numbers almost as fast as the orks and they have the same ammount of firepower half the time so for me its looking 50/50 "Redneck Rampage Rides Again"
Avatar 720 wrote:New last game: Minecraft... I'll just stay underground 'till they're gone...
MIND CRAFT!
That looks sweet but its not worth the 12$ in my humble opinion
Oh believe me, it is. It's one of the most addicting games i've played, and i've played a good few games. Don't be put off by the graphics (it's a good sandbox game, these things are rare to find as they are), it's still in an Alpha stage and receve regular updates; a top gaming magazine in Finland (think it's called Pelit) gave it 93 out of 100, with the highest rating the magazine has ever given a game being 98. Bearing in mind that what it costs now is less than half of what it'll cost when complete, and that it scored so high in it's Alpha stages, I think it's well worth the pennies you're paying for it now.
Iur_tae_mont wrote:Nethack. The Orkz kill me. No big surprise there.
What level are you?
Alternatively you could just go into wizard mode and give yourself a +500 ring of protection, and then nothing could hurt you.
The best I've gotten is Minetown, because I like to Altar farm too much and always end up someone some sort of Crazy Cthulhu Daemon Lord, who I get the brillant idea of hitting to see what happens every time without fail.
I'm playing every Race/Class/Alignment/Gender combo.
Also, still playing Nethack, but got Magicbane on my Wizard, so I write Elbereth on the ground and I guess starve to death( Assuming the Orkz respect Elbereth)
Halo: Reach. I think the humans are screwed but the Covanent may win, just barely, or lose. Either is possible.
(I think The Orks are the winners. Cuz we all know they're just that Awesome .)
Tetris............. Im kindda lost as to what I should say..... and Im sure the Orks have alot of WTF? over their heads as well. Ill just blame it on bad fungus beer
Command and conquer 3. I wonder what Tiberium would do to orks... The thought is just scary. I bet the scrin could definitely win, And possibly GDA and Nod if they teamed up. (Which I bet they would in those circumstances, seeing as they breifly allied against the scrin) All infantry in that game (with the exception of zone troopers) is total crap, so evryone would be in mammoth tanks and avatars. I love spamming mammoths.
BTW, why does nobody play this game online anymore? It's a frikking awesome RTS, even if the scrin are a bit overpowered.
Was playing League of legends, dunno how it would turn out.
On a side note: They are introducing a troll as the new champion of the week, trolls get along with orcs dont they? Maybe they could work something out.
Was also playing League of Legends. I'd say pretty screwed.
Although I'm playing Minecraft now so that's more of a maybe thing. Big pits + torches are surprisingly decent defences. As for my newer world, the fort is currently sitting on a frozen lake and made out of sand and dirt so that is extremely screwed.
Well given that I was playing World of Tanks, I think it would be utterly hilarious popping trukks and buggies with my Marder 2. Before that it was Global Agenda, and I think Orks would probably screw that up rather nicely. Sure, the Agents are elite, but the world's utterly ravaged by war and completely factionalized. Orks would fit right in. And then finally Black Ops... I think the various force in Black Ops would be screwed.

Nowhere near as much as what it does to humans. Orks are seriously that tough, quite literally "too 'ard to die".
Orks WAAAGH all over newgrounds. Every peen waving flash game full of slowed memes gets owned. then i mourn their passing and go back to playing old snes roms. Those get owned too, sorry mario

If there's no obvious second in command, they'd fight for a day or so then get a new warboss and continue. If there was already an ork big enough to dominate everyone, they'd just easily transfer command to that Ork.
Space Empires V was the last game I played. How screwed they'd be would really depend on the stage of the game they arrive in. At low tech levels, you'd be totally screwed as you've still got nothing but small slow ships with conventional projectile weapons.
At mid tech levels, it'd be a fairly tough fight. While you'd have superior weaponry, you'd still lack the level of responses needed to totally annihilate them before they multiply and spread. It'd be a slow, uphill battle to contain the threat and keep from being overrun.
At high tech levels, the Orks hardly constitute a threat. Since at they'd be very easy to contain, and you could simply reduce any planets they get on to a molten pile of rubble. If you're slow to react and they wind up taking control of a system or two, it's just a matter of detonating a couple a stars and wiping them out with the novas.
Well... I dunno how proton packs would fare against orks, but earth would be at a 1991 timeline, would the ghosts help scare the orks away? We'd be doomed.
Ratchet and Clank : A Crack in Time
Considering that the most powerful weapon in the game was banned in 9 galaxies, I think that he could just stand next to a weapon vendor and destroy the entire Waaaagh single handedly
Everyone is going to die. Violently. Especially since I just lost both Krille and Galuf. Although, if I can get the Warboss into a desert, Faris might be able to Quicksand 'im.
The Orks are SO dead. Matter fabrication capacity>non-matter fabrication capacity, not to mention a humanity that actually controlls large portions of the Galaxy, albeit in different factions.
Also assuming that the Orks enter the Galaxy and proceed through it relatively unscathed, and assuming that the Roks don't get destroyed or diverted (i'm not sure about Sup Com space tech, but I imagine it's all pretty advanced, so I wouldn't take a way of eliminating errant space rocks completely out of the running here).
There'd be a lot of assumptions (albeit based largely off the lack of Sup Com background) so i'd say the outcome is fairly hard to calculate.
Jak III. Hmm..... Seeing as Haven city is almost screwed anyway, I don't think anyone would last too long. The guys in sargus city with the vehichles might put up a good(ish) fight though. The Haven city guards would epic fail all over the place.

The roks are shielded, with the best shields in 40k. Shielded, guided, and when they land lots of boyz come out ready to cannibalize any machines they come across, and steal your ACU tech.
A mekboy would have an Orkgasm if he could steal an ACU and ork-ify it.
“I have no shield, my health bar in the red, and I only have 3 bullets left in my pistol... the odds are heavily in my favor.”
But you have to remember!
Elites never die, they only reanimate and nibble on your flesh!
Oh yes, and creating a horde of Antlions and having a small amount of rebels hold out in a small building is OH mode activate...(Garry's Mod)
Orks never die, and I can just keep spawning combine troops. And Players will re spawn. AND I can mod the game for some tanks and aircraft NPCs. Also, remover gun for ork fungus. This is going to be fun.
Lets see, 2 and a half million Russians with their blood up and somewhere around 6000 tanks outside of Berlin vs. a similar number of orks........
Armageddon ensues, both sides beaten to a bloody pulp, the Germans come out of their hiding places just to find the carnage over and look around extremely confused.
Doesn't Isaac have enough problems as it is? He was completely screwed from the outset, anyway.
Though I'd like to see what the Necromorph plague does to Orks. This might be like pitting Tyranids against Orks, with a new Ork-o-morph for every dead body.
Either way, every human involved in the game is completely SOL. This can't possibly end well.
Think the Orks may be a lil screwed as surely both Alliance and Horde would team up with each other to defeat the Orks, not to mention Deathwing and all the other big bad bosses wanting to make sure there is a world to destroy lol.
Dragon's Age. They probably can take care of some orks. They are not too much different than the Darkspawn and besides if they want to they can use blood magic and summon deamons for help.
Lord Scythican wrote:Dragon's Age. They probably can take care of some orks. They are not too much different than the Darkspawn and besides if they want to they can use blood magic and summon deamons for help.
Except darkspawn don't have guns or tanks, or chainaxes, or power claws, nor do they get stronger after each fight, nor are they anywhere near as durable (no more durable than the average human really)...

Unless they loot the Mass Effect technology, which they only need to kill a few bandits to do (something they definitely can do, given that shields don't block explosions or melee attacks very well).
In which case, ME's universe is screwed, as is everything else.

BATMAN: Arkham aslyum ...batmans got this...cue BAT-antiork spray. also that stompa actually houses a secret batcave he built years ago...just in incase.
Armored Core: For Answer. Aside from a couple you gents that were playing video games involving nuclear weapons or playing strategy games, I think I'm really the only one who has posted so far that has a realistic chance of beating an Ork Waaagh. No, I'm sorry, Solid Snake, the dudes from Borderlands, the dude from Fallout, the dude from Darksiders, Kratos, Master Chief, Dante, etc. etc. etc. are not going to have a chance in hell against a multi-million greenskin army supported by all sorts of insane weapons. At least in Armored Core mankind has adopted 30 ft tall bipedal/quadrupedal mechs as the primary method of wafighting. If that can't kill em all, at least they'll go out looking good (Itano Circus FTW).

I second this, a few Ravens(sorry oldtime fan of the series)... I mean Next's could just do a few strafing runs over an ork horde and they would be royally screwed.
Next's are way to fast, have extremely powerful shields (that can even used offensively by overcharging them) Have Laser blades (and a few pneumatic ones too) the size of a small house and are carrying their own weight in firepower. Grenade cannon's anyone? :3
I'd like to see Noblesse Oblige going balls out on some stompa's/gargants...
So if all the big factions in that universe would unite (including all the mercs) Orks would get fethed, untill they loot one and everyone else gets owned..
But yeah, your looking at supersonic titans here.
That said, I think the Vanquish would be a fun match up too, they would lose it, but it would be quite a scrap :3
Best one I can think of... How about.... Unreal Tournament? :3 I mean, if those are the arena fighters... What the hell would their armies be like? O_O
