There at pixbox, I've linked from there to other forums in the past so I don't get it. Yes, with IMG tags an' all.
Edit: Got it, me stupid.

Great stuff, can't wait to see more. The Ork's skin tone in particular is nice, how'd you go about achieving it?

Nice work on all these guys. Excellent conversions on those Ork bikes. I always wanted to do a split color scheme on marines but was too afraid it would be too much work.

Those marines are soo sick, i want to do a half and half scheme like that how do you get your colors to go straight down the middle of your men?

A steady hand, patience and a lot of swearing.

Great stuff, especially like the converted big mek. The bases on your marines are amazing, how did you get the green pool of toxic waste effect on them? (the marines are terrific of course but that goes without saying)

Gitsplitta wrote:Great stuff, especially like the converted big mek. The bases on your marines are amazing, how did you get the green pool of toxic waste effect on them? (the marines are terrific of course but that goes without saying)
The toxic waste effect I discoverd by accident. I prime with brush-on white gesso, now, because the gesso will go on thicker in some places, when you paint it it gets a sort of blotchy effect to it (especially if the paint is watered down). I then painted on some wave lines with a lighter green and gave it a wash of thraka green to give a bit of sheen.
Burna boyz straight out of the box and two of my own.

I really like the orks! Excellent paint job. I am not very familiar with the models, is the kopter/bike a conversion so you can use the core of the model as whatever?

Oh, I didn't paint all of them during the last few days or anything. I'm just trying to get feedback on my models, but just not image dumping them all in one post.

Captain Solon wrote:Liked the freehand on the burn a boyz.

Hmm, using masking tape on marines is probably the same hassle as freehanding it. On vehicles yes, infantry no, too many details to get the tape around. Plus, I think tape would rip my gesso primer straight of.
Anyway, I took some new pictures of my boyz mobs.
Goff sluggas.
Evil suns 'ard boys.

Haha! That's a new one. I actually tried making it look like he was about to pimp slap some heretic, but it turned out to look more like he's cowering, "Please, not the face".

Excellent all around!
Orks paint is very crisp and colorful without being cartoony. The battlewagon with its subtle conversions like the lowered cab roof and extra pod on the back is a nice bit of customization. The paintjob looks clean yet still unmistakably orky.
Marines and others are very nice as well!
Well done

I simply marked around a base, then drilled the corners. After that I worked through the plastic with my knife along the lines.

These spearmen had been sitting in my closet for too long, at last they can join the 10 from before.
Captain Rust had led the Samedi family spearmen through enough hells that the men didn't question that he led from the back...
...and even if they did, they'd feel the wrath of bannerbearer Krüger and his cudgel.

Your vehicles are the epitomy (in my mind) of Ork-ness. I also think the blue you use in contrast to the Orks' skin works very well. Finally, you have a great grasp of how to make human faces look good, particularly on the space marines. Top notch work.

Gah, reminding me I need to paint my Heroquest. They are very nicely done though.
As to the rest, love the Orks, tempting me to up the ante from Death Skull and Moonz, and throw in some more clans like I did back in the Rogue Trader days. The arms dangling from the truck raised a harsh chuckle as well.
E's one of da boyz alrite!
The Empire is also nice, and a nice start on your Chaos and Marines.
Looking forward to seeing more.
