I know right? Looted devilfish, Looted Landraider redeemer, Looted CARNAFIX, Looted Stormraven.....have not seen pictures of one yet but I am sure ork players have already bought the kit and are looting them as we speak.

Looted Soul Grinders and Defilers and I even seen a looted Crysis suit fashioned into meganob armor.

So my question still stands as I ask. Is there anything Orks Cant loot? Is there a model out there that no one has thought to loot yet?

My buddy Vas just told me that there are primarch models and there might be one for the emperor...

Looted Emperor's been done already, don't have the image on my phone tho'. To answer your question; table-top wise, there's nothing unlootable thanks to the power of counts-as.

Why is is stupid, or crazy, to improve a model to an aesthetic you find pleasing? Assuming that it's not stupid or crazy to spend $1800 on the model in the first place, I don't see why it is any better to just paint it than to convert it and paint it.

given enough time, and enough DAKKA, Bitz, Gubbinz and Wotzits, a Mek (with a "little" help from a Dok) could even Loot Khorne. not a deamon of Khorne, but good 'ol Skull throne sitting, Blood drinking Khorne his own self.

I'll see if I can find the image when I get home, it's a cartoon depicting the Golden Throne attached to a battlewagon. The Emperor's depicted shooting eye lazors at fleeing marines, while the ork driver and gunners are guffawing their lungs out.

Honestly, I thought about scratch-building a Manta and a Thunderhawk so they could be looted. I don't have the cash to buy a real one of either of them, but there are plans out there to scratch build them. The scratch built look, along with ork bitz would look the part.

I would love to see Orks loot the Eye of Terror, not whats in it, the actual Eye itself.

There's one in a display case at a local game shop, next to a looted baneblade and eldar gravtank (can't remember which one). Sadly, they don't seem to have a picture of it on their facebook page, or I'd link to it. I have seen pictures of other ones posted here, though.

It's why I love the Orks over all other 40K armies, you get the most original and amusing models on the tabletop.

Necron Fluff says everything damaged disapears at the end of a battle. But it would still be fun to see an orcstroyer.

And then I had to go and google "Looted Necrons." I found a few pics of the forgeworld tomb stalker with some orcs riding on it and then this. Ohh the horror, gone is the purity of my poor Necrons.

I thought there was something about needing actual Necrons in its presence to work. I don't have the codex with me to check though.


My idea was for orks to dismantle the necrons and turn their legs and arms into ladders to go up and down the monolith. You could then take their heads and paste them everywhere for headlights.

That way the Necrons would still be there. I am not sure if it would work, but after reading some recent fluff from other armies, I am thinking anything is possible.

I just got the idea in my head of "looting" some guardsmen to use as counts-as grot mobs.

There is a 40k comic about a guardsman who is mistaken for a grot and kept around as a good luck charm.

If they tried to loot slaanesh by binding him up and stuff... wouldn't he get a kick out of that?

I just had the idea the other day of a looted Arachnarok Spider that 'counts as' a Trukk or Battlewagon. I'm not exactly sure how they compare in size, but I think it would work. I'd probably pick up some Trukk/Battlewagon bitz to mount on top of the awesome Arachnarok Spider model.

I would do that but that checkard thing in the center would be missing with a Warboss holding that Tyranid Hive Tyrant Whip lashing it out at the storm boys and Grots to "Mush" lol.

Pretty tame compared to some of the pics here, but before I started 40K I already loved to build/paint model planes and tanks. so I took my least favorite (M48 Patton), and added some orky bits (not too much ), and my other is a looted Pinewood Derby car
