It is my pleasure to inform all of you that a full CGI short-animation intitled "The Lord Inquisitor" is currently being made! http://www.thelordinquisitor.com
It is a project from the fans for the fans and not a single penny will be made through the animation. The philosophy behind this project is to make a short visual tribute to the world of Warhammer 40.000 created by Games Workshop®.
You should all know that this is an interactive project, meaning that the fans are regularly informed about the progress and they thus have the possibility to contribute by commenting and criticising.
Obviously this project might be met with scepticism because previous projects of this sort have been put to an end. I would like to direct your attention to the fact that GW does not treat movies as it treats animations, see here:
http://www.games-workshop.com/gws/content/article.jsp?catId=&categoryId=§ion=&pIndex=3&aId=3900002&start=4&multiPageMode=true Hence, the question is if The Lord Inquisitor falls into the category "movie" or "animation". According to the definitions you can find on the web, CGI animation is by definition animation. Nevertheless, GW has been contacted in order for them to be aware of this project and in order to find out if they tolerate it or not - no answer up to date has been received.
Alright alright, I know that is flamey, but I think this certainly demonstrates the quality of 'Ultramarines' when contrasted with a DIY job that looks at the very least as good, and IMO, significantly better. Not looking to argue with those that would disagree, nor begrudge their right to feel differently, it's just my opinion!
Automatically Appended Next Post: d'oh double ninja'd!
Is it me or is the web site having issues?
I was able to see some short scenes but the “eye candy” wouldn’t open and I got error messages that the web site wasn’t responding….
I bet gw will restrict this up the backside before they allow it to air. however they might just buy it and continue the production, which is the option im hoping for.
Sadly my money is on them saying no, they will realize this will compete with the disappointing "space Marine" not to mention blow it out of the water quality wise.
Space Marine was wildly horrible when it came to the animation, so now I reserve judgement on this. Sure it looks good, but until I can see some walking animation, then it's not enough.
No doubt some fantastic artwork there. I'll be curious to see how the actual production of the animation is handled though. Stills are one thing, but full animation + sound, etc. is something else. A great start though to be sure.
We have spectacular renders of our favorite universe to look at here people, and promising motion video. The artists have even taken time to adapt the armor to be more intricate and detailed yet still true to the spirit of the source material. I really think there is enough to actually talk about the subject here, no?
The screenshot looks great. If GW has a problem with it - oh well. It would be cool, but I'm also not gonna lose sleep over fan films getting shut down.
By remarkable coincidence, the acolyte-type with the mask and bolt pistol looks astonishingly like a costume I'm tentatively working on for Games Day UK 2011. I think I'll have to use this as reference to develop the costume further.
Oh my golly gosh (for lack of any other words).... That should be made into a major motion picture! Just wow, whoever did that "movie poster" and the pictures in the gallery, that is probably one of the best CGI animations I have ever seen! GW better allow this to happen...because if it doesn't.....it would mean WAR
Film looks good! I can't control what GW does or doesn't do (so why worry about it?!) Instead, I wish the makers the best of luck in getting it approved and released!
My only (slight) complaint is the picture ablove looks too much like the Codex EoT cover. These guys appear to be rathe talented, so why not come up with something different? Other than that, looks good! Looking forward to this coming out!!!
Honestly, the biggest complaint I have right now with their project, and this is something that is seriously lacking in my opinion, is where the heck is the donation box?
Those that serve the Emperor like this definitely deserve more than simple praise...
@Redscare: donating would be a solid nail into their coffin made by GW.
With donations the lawyers could bring forward the argument that they are earning money with GWs IP.
Grobrotz wrote:@Redscare: donating would be a solid nail into their coffin made by GW.

I'm not certain it works that way, but it does sound plausible that that is one of the reason why they don't have one.
This is absolutly astounding, I'm very shocked at how good the quality is of this!
My only consern is that while we have a couple of fantastic renders and animations - it's a hell of a long way off being a full motion animation of any significant length.
GW will shut it down. I love what I see and it looks like a much better effort than Ultramarines (how come a bunch of fans doing this for free can make something that looks much better [so far anyway] than a "professional" company being paid for their work?), but GW can't have it's fans doing what fans do and just generally loving the hobby that they've invested so much money and time into now can they?
I cannot see how this will (openly) survive, after losing a lot of face due to their position on Damnatus GW legal made comments along the lines of 'no' and 'never' for fan film projects based on or including their IP.
Inquisitor needs Russian VOICE!. But in all support this should be great! If the owner is going to sell it then GW would intervene but if its a free view then it would promote GW and support its fans And there's no IP loss at all, Do you think all the less rendered/detailed 40k CGI vids on youtube get ripped down by GW IP?
Well I am glad to see that the message has spread onto the DakkaDakka forum, even though I would have liked to post the thread myself. I have been waiting for permission from the admins of the forum, as that is the polite thing to do when wanting do promote something
Anyways, thanks for sepreading the word.
One thing though: this is not a movie but an animation, so it would be nice to rename the thread. Thanks.
Awesome work, I hope they don't get shut down although I think CT Gamer may be right with "IP lawyers are taking up position in high orbit as we speak... " *sigh*
Their speed sculpting video for the Bloodletter makes me want to brush up on my Mudbox, very VERY nicely done!
It's a real shame but unfortunately at some point I am sure GW will have to step in and stop this.
Because Lord Inquisitor is being made in Germany it falls foul of an unusual German Copyright Law which allows the creators of films, animations etc a claim on the film's Intellectual Property content regardless of the original source material.
This would mean that if this film was made and distributed, whether for profit or free the film's maker would have a legitimate legal claim on some of GW's intellectual property.
In this case Inquistor Coteaz, Grey Knights, Space marines, Thunderhawk Gunship and the list goes on.
There is no way GW would be able to let this happen, and GW have stipulated that they are not keen on fans making movies.
If this movie was being made outside of Germany it may not be such a problem, but as their copyright laws stand right now GW will come down hard on this.
And I have to admit I don't really blame them to be honest.
Which is a shame as this project looks stunning, and a lot of work has obviously gone into it, but I doubt we will ever see it unless illegally.
And just because GW haven't yet replied to the film maker doesn't mean they aren't aware of it and doesn't mean they won't stop it.
This is exactly what happened to damnatus, the film was in post production I believe before GW intervened.
Let's hope there is a way around this, but I suspect this project will end the same way.
*IF* this thing ever sees print, and the price isn't too God-awful, I'll buy a few copies... One for myself and a couple to sell online after GW puts their foot down. : )
StraightSilver wrote:It's a real shame but unfortunately at some point I am sure GW will have to step in and stop this.
At which point I will point a finger and speak thuslywise: "Ha-HA!" I mean, really. No way in the Nine Hells will GW decide that just because it's animated it's suddenly okay, no matter what their laundry-list prohibitions page will say. An animated movie will hit the exact same legal snafus Damnatus did, and it's both short-sighted and laughably idealist to think otherwise.
What's sad about it is that it REALLY looks like they're capable of just nailing this thing on the head.
Unfortunately, like Damnatus, GW will not buy it from them for distribution. It will likely suffer an inglorious death.
If GW had any brains about them, they'd find a way to bring these guys into the fold to create a new, sanctioned movie.
@Ag...
Building their own world is definitely one thing they could do. Unfortunately, they would not get the kind of wide-spread notice to it as they would with GW properties.
Not disagreeing, just making a statement.
Let me get this straight.
The total of about 1 minute of animation on the youtube channel, and people are saying its better than the Space Marine movie? The renders and clips they have up are fantastic. There are some skills there, for sure.
But it would be wise to see if the quality can hold up over the entire work.
From what I've seen of the SM movie, that is the tricky part.
The animations I watched were very good, and have potential.
Now we only have to wait a year or two for actual scenes.
There is a reason that studios charge what they do for the 5 minute scenes like Dawn of War.
I wish them best of luck, and hope to see a good final product.
If this project is indeed Germany based, I see no chance of it getting past GW legal. Same problem as with Damnatus that the authors would aquire copyright on 40k content.
I see no way that this could harm GW. It's free publicity on a huge scale. Put your name on it by sanctioning it GW, free animation of incredibly high quality (for now at least). Such a shame really that such talent and time will likely go to waste due to moronic management.
Sucio Sanchez wrote:They shouldn't have said a single thing or released anything about it until it was done. Then put it out there. No one would be able to stop it then.
Unfortunately...
YES... no one would be able to stop it from spreading over the net like wild fire, but...
NO.... GW Legal would make sure that they didn't get a single red cent to compensate them for all the hard work, money, time and other resources they'd invested in it's development.

And why exactly should anyone be able to profit off of GW's IP without their permission? Why is it GW's "fans" owe them so much more than other businesses fans do? Can I take, say, the Aliens franchise IP and create my own movies for profit, without permission, just because I like it? No. Can I take an author's work, write my own stories based off of the characters they created, and sell it for profit? No.
I mean, afterall, I could put in alot of hard work, money, time and effort to piggyback already popular works. So why shouldn't I be able to just take an IP I did not create and do whatever I like with it, and while I'm at it, line my pockets with cash? How dare anyone try and stop me doing such a thing.
Sarcasm aside, I think it would be great to see fan made films, if GW gives it the OK. But don't try an make an argument that anyone should be able to create a fan-film, sell it for profit, and GW would be the bad guy for wanting to shut that down.

Hmmm...I think you've read a bit more into my post than I actually wrote.
I don't see my post actually making any arguments "that anyone should be able to create a fan-film, sell it for profit, and GW would be the bad guy for wanting to shut that down", or addressing the "IP issues" argument.
I simply expressed my opinion (in response to Sanchez's brief note) as to what would actually happen if the film-makers actually did "put it out there" after investing a lot of hard work etc.
Maybe next time actually READ the post you're quoting , think for a couple of minutes as to what it actually says and addresses, and take a deep breath before you hit the submit button.
I know the whole "IP thing" strikes deep at some people, but I'm not one of 'em - don't drag me into it.
I applaud the effort, and if it's allowed to go ahead by GW, I'd be interested in seeing what they have done.
However, why must people put their balls on the line like this? By now, everyone knows GW stance and how they like to protect their I.P....hell, I know how tempting it is to see something done by someone else and think "hmm, if only they did XX it would be so much better"....unfortunately, it's not down to us.
I agree with others when they see this as a waste of talent, effort and dedication. GW will most likely feel threatened by this, should it go ahead, and demand that it be censored....and really, who could blame them.
People of the world....for the love of God leave GW I.P. alone....it's not worth the hassle....create new worlds for Sci Fi fans to admire and get involved with.
One last note. Someone mentioned that these guys are targeting WH40K, because it will gather a larger following. In the blurb at the beginning of the website, they announce they are doing this for no profit....so where is the benefit of getting a wide audience coverage? If it's fan made, and only for fun, there's no difference between one person seeing it or 2 billion.

1. Create new worlds? Oh yeah because there aren't enough yet, and because it will be easy to get people on board. And because if those lovely new worlds are actually successful, then they will surely not protect their IP, so there will be no more fan-fiction problems.
2. Yeah I dunno why the creator of the movie wants to spread the word. I guess he must be dumb because he could watch it all by himself in his basement when he's done making it.
/sarcasm
Seriously, stop whining. If you want to see Damnatus, the previous movie banned by GW, then just friggin' download it. It's ou there, even though it has been banned.
As long as this gets finished and released to the internet, it can proliferate and spread and perhaps inspire those folks who made Ultramarines to make a better film next time.

Probably about all the consideration that it deserves.
I would like to inform you that there is currently a poll on our site. Its goal is to get an impression of what Chaos Space Marine legion should appear in the movie. Thanks for sharing your views!
Why would i not be surprised if GW tried to pull the pin on this??
Though I fail to see how GW could stop it being uploaded and going straight underground. It's looking too good to just disappear (not that that is a valid legal reason)
Since i can't swear openly on dakka, i'll just say this...

Because if it's a new world where we don't have to worry about the scary IP lawyers, it will be just another project among dozens/hundreds/thousands that no one will really care about because they have no connection to people aside from "oooh, Sci-fi goodness!" If they go for 40k, then they can get sci-fi junkies and the masses of Warhammer players.

Just wait a couple months after it releases, then "A new movie brought to you by the creative team behind Lord Inquisitor..."
They're building up a fanbase who'll watch Inquisitor because it's 40k, and then watch their next project even if it isn't 40k, just because they liked Inquisitor that much.
Hey guys, thanks alot for all your comments! Your input is greatly appreciated.
As you might know there is some great new footage on the site (e.g. WIP video of a Thunderhawk landing). We also have a youtube channel now. Also, check out the new wallpapers!
Thanks for your support and don't hesitate to share your comments, they are important to make the animation as enjoyable as possible!
What you've done is impressive, I mean, amazing. It's worthy of the top CGI animators out there, and it's fan-made. Have you had any contact from GW itself yet?
The one thing that concerned me, was the copyright blurb mentioned 'produced under license' - the thing is, that's entirely what it doesn't have.
On the other I can't really see what makes it any different from the 100's of other fan made things out there, like say Dragon Age's 'Wardens Fall' machinima which has received loads of plaudits from Bioware's staff.
I always thought that to legally retain it's IP, GW had to be shown to be protecting it? Unless the law stipulates that it doesn't have to count if the infringing material is awesome?
The fanbase has yet another chance to contribute and shape the animation!
I’m looking for designs for an old and mysterious artefact. Yes, this can be anything. You don’t have to know what powers lie hidden in the artefact or what it’s all about, but you can help me with the design. I need a design for this object as soon as possible, and I would be very happy if you could post links, ideas as well as your preferred personal drawings of a cool looking artefact. I'm imagining something like an abstract form, or maybe a kind of geometric symmetrical object, a statue, etc. Something like “the marker” of Dead Space, or the “Soulcube” from Doom. Designs like the marker would be awesome - it doesn’t have to be complex, it should just look like an interesting object that makes you wonder what it's about =)
Links of cool looking forms, objects, artefacts and the likes would be helpfull, which I could use for inspiration. The best would be to send me your own scribbled down ideas: I would actually model this in 3D then and you can see your design later on in The Lord Inquisitor. By the way, the teaser will hopefully come out in september and it should make you drool =)
Your help is wanted now! If you have any questions visit the homepage and do not hesitate to ask.
The animation looks incredible so far! The attention to detail far exceeds most other similar companies out there. The short clips look very promising, good luck with the project!
I have no doubt at all that this movie will be shut down, or an attempt will be made in that direction at least. Which would be a terrible shame, as the graphics of this movie is already looking superior to Ultramarines.
Hopefully though, and if the maker is doing it not for profit, it can be release onto the internet - once the cat is out of the bag, it doesn't matter how loud GW cry about it
I don't mean to be horrible, but 'in development' or 'being made'... these phrases crop up so much, it's so rare that anything is actually finished.
Ergo I contribute no enthusiasm until I actually see something, a CGI short is a pretty massive undertaking and I don't think many people see these things through...

What a wonderful piece of fan effort. I will be keeping a close eye on this. It has to be said GW needs to have ambition that matches it's current models in all other areas where its IP is used. There's been way too much crap.
On Friday November 11th 2011, at 11:11, the trailer for the short animation The Lord Inquisitor will finally be released! The Inquisition has chosen a sacred time indeed: II.II.II II:II
Cometh to the website of The Lord Inquisitor and witness the action, the gore, the excitement! The time has finally come! Tell your Warhammer-loving friends and see for yourself what the (approximately 2 minute long) trailer holds in store.
Haven't read all the pages. But I've been following The Lord Inquisitor for about 2 months now, and he has been working on this video for a year and a half. So I doubt he's going to just quit now. Anyhow, apparently the Lord Inquisitor has looked into GW and apparently they allow animations, but not live action videos about their IP. He has gone thru it on his website and whatnot, but of course if they really want to they can do something.
And he also states that GW has known about him for sometime, so I bet if they do make a move on this video. It will be in response to how popular it is, and they want to take it further.
SickSix wrote:Looks 100x better than that smurfmarine 'movie' crap!
I agree that the stills and limited video look quite snazzy and wish the makers the best of luck in getting this film done and out for release! As a side note, the Ultramarine movie stills and very small video snippets also looked pretty good while the final product wasn't.
If a single Danish guy can make this in his spare time, what possible excuse did Ultramarines have?
I think he really needs to work on his script though, the voice over is far too chunky. I shan't fault the voice acting to a massive degree as the two main media efforts by Warhammer of late (Ultramarines 'n' Space Marine) didn't exactly excel in this area themselves.
The English isn't quite right, but that's not shocking. The thing looks incredible, my sole complaint being that Grey Knights don't tend to carry around heavy bolters like that. And that's a nit pick.
really good so far, but as said, the voiceover is a tad too slowly paced and some lines could do with slight re-wording (e.g: "our worst expectations" could be "our worst fears")
The voice over does have a japanese anime dub feel to it in its pacing and vocabulary choices but I'm sure it's a hell of alot better than what I could do in German. The animation looks great though. While I agree that the grey knight with the heavy bolter is off a bit in the fluff, we don't know why he's fielding that. It could just be that he ripped off a heavy bolter from a turret and is manually firing it as a plot device.

Just playing devil's advocate here, but...
They had a budget to work within, actors to pay, animators to pay---all for a full length feature.
Trailers are fine and dandy. So are a few renders here and there.
But I can almost guarantee you that if this project were done by an individual who had a budget to work within, that trailer would have blown the whole budget simply in animating costs and paying a single voice actor.
Visually, it's amazing, outside of some awkward weapon firing recoil (waaaaaaaaaay too much recoil, at least as I perceive it. It's practically in humour territory! )
The script, however, is cringe-worthy xD
Or, rather, it sounds rather amateurish - though it's possible it's also a result of cross-language shenanigans.
It doesn't bother me as much as I thought it might, though - this is still an amazing achievement, and I'm really looking forward to it!
Can we just lay off the comments about the voices? The guy is producing this by himself and the CGI is amazing. To read comments on the voice overs makes me think, "what the hell do you want from this guy?!" If it was a studio effort then fair enough, but guys, give the bloke a break.

I don't expect an improvement in the voice acting itself, but I think a native English speaker should help him out with the script.. there are a few instances of err... questionable dialogue.
Im one of the artists helping out Erasmus with this project, I started a new thread to hopefully help answer some of these questions but it got locked (since this one is already rolling). I can assure you we will be doing some voice changes and in the final short film, the voice quality will not take away from the visuals but will be just as fitting and impactful as the cg itself. We appreciate all the support the community has given us, spread the word!

And maybe a writer to help with the flow and storyline!
If he never changes a word I will still mark the day on my calender this thing is complete. That said, all this guy has to do is ask and I'm sure their are dozens of talented and qualified people who could just help some of the grammar issues.
The bit with the Thunderhawk flying past the Grey Knight riding a Landraider had got to be just about the single greatest concentration of 40K awesome I have ever scene.
Well the english language did undergo 38.000 years of evolution, I think some weird sounding dialogue is to be expected if you read things that were written not 200 years ago .
Seriously though, my main worry is with the animation. When I look at his team all I see is modellers, which explains the high quality of stuff we've seen up until now. Animators, however, are nowhere to be seen, which shows in the animated scenes. The static stuff and stuff that requires only simple sliding animation (the shot of the artifact in the rain, the burning ship from a moving vehicle) look awesome, the actually animated parts (walking inquisitor, Grey Knights firing stuff) not so much. It's all very, very stiff.
Now I don't want to jump to conclusions, it's very much possible that the site only displays part of the team and certain the stiff animation will get brushed up, but I think the main guy might be taking on too much by himself.
The 'sound quality' issue is something we can better provide a solution for than a wall of complaint. Have you/we considered asking Dakka for voice sound samples.
I am willing to lend a voice to the project if needs be and don't think I am alone in this. We are not actors sure, but we could provide background voices if nothing else.
If the dev gives us an idea of what accent types he wants he might get the voice samples he is needing.
It looks like the exact opposite of Ultramarine--stunning CGI visuals with horrible voice acting .
Seriously, tremendous kudos to the team--the lighting and CGI look pretty damn impressive. I'm not too concerned about the voice acting/audio--as that can easily be improved upon and refined. I'll be looking forward to the release fellas.
I'm sorry, but what?!? All of that Awesomeness was made by just a couple of people? Ludicrously incredible work sirs! I am assuming that you are all on the lookout for jobs in animation if you somehow don't have one already. Keep going and good luck with the rest!

I hope you had a nice christmas and a cool beginning for this year You all know the project is currently on “hold” and so I had a lot of time to think about Lordi from time to time and develop new ideas and things like that Of course I also already thought that Lordi is doomed because of the rules of Games Workshop, but it seems that the wheel has changed
Shortly before Christmas I finally got an answer and it was more than positive To be honest I think I had the biggest smile in my face in the year 2011 I will not post any mails in my blog as this is a private conversation between GW and me, but what I can tell you is that GW loves Lordi and everything what me and my team created. So GW really wants to see this project finished and they want me to have a kind of license that allows me to make non commercial Warhammer 40.000 movies. I mean, how cool is that? I never thought that GW would be so cool to this project and this is beyond my expectations – now I don’t have to hide anymore with this project, but can look in a proper future for Lordi.
However GW told me that this is a promise for now only and they can not guarantee me that this really becomes true. They have to see for themselfes if that is possible legally with their IP. But they want to get this through and Im optimisitc that this will work So we still need to cross our fingers, but it looks really really good for The Lord Inquisitor
This of course raised my motivation to a new level haha With the official approval by GW I can hopefully gain a much bigger team to make a much better movie in the same amount of time. As I said I need Technical Directors and animators and such. I got new plans in my mind and definetely need a good story/plot writer who works closely with me together. If I find enough people who want to support my vision and to make the first non profit and 100% passionate Warhammer 40k movie I want to make this film longer to tell a much bigger story If I dont have to animate all the characters, facial animation and so this could be easily done as rendering times seems to be no big problem – I rendered the whole trailer on one workstation with approx. 15min per frame. That is all possible as I almost used no global illumination and other fancy time consuming effects.
So what’s next? Of course I still got to wait for the next reply of GW, and if this will turn out as expected I will post a more detailed list of people I need, a job description so to say I try to put that online permanently on this site, so that everyone can see if I still need some help in specific areas. This can turn out really great and the whole community can see this film grow and prosper and also have influence of the production. So regarding the usual workflow here of me posting images and you writing comments and me again changing all the mistakes I made nothing will change
Yeah that’s it so far, I think this can’t be a better start for 2012 and the future of Torquemada Coteaz and his Grey Knights
Without seeing all of the emails that have passed between the production team and GW it's difficult to predict what will be the outcome.
I'm sure the production team are intelligent enough to hold off any personal investment of time and money until they have a written agreement that there will be no hindrance to them distributing their film. I think it's important to maintain a positive, but cautious, outlook.
I wish the team the best of luck for the projects future!!
I posted on their website that this is cool news, but I think GW will shaft them. As already mentioned by someone. If they let the person invest time and money in it and then pull the plug at the end, it has more of an impact. They are that nasty.

It has nothing to do with nastiness. It has everything to do with the fact that the people requesting permission always go ahead as though GW said yes, despite them not saying yes.
As I understand it, Damnatus did get consent. It was only after two years of work that concerns grew, and after another year of silence on GW's part and a year of negotiations (including an announcement from GW that all was A-OK and it could be finished) that the film was finished...and THEN banned.

Yeah, originally they said it would be ok as long as it wasn't commercial--even ran an advert for it in a German white dwarf if memory serves.
H.B.M.C. wrote:That's because of the German 'If you make it you own it' odd copyright laws. Yeah, it was gakky, but you can't really blame GW for that.
Blame ze Germanz.
Yeah their IP law seems a bit strange in that you seemingly cannot sign your copyright away.
Had to be a bitter pill to swallow though, after 2-3ish years of approval, thousands of Euros and a WD endorsement. Hope this film fares better.
This has a pope's chance in hell of ever coming out.
Although, with file sharing these days being that much more prominent, as well as it being English language, it would be impossible for GW to completely bottle it up (the movie could just be 'accidentally' released onto the web) so as long it is not a profit making enterprise.
as you might already know (visiting the website and Facebook page), the project has been approved by Games Workshop, despite all the scepticism on this forum and elsewhere!
More and more people are becoming aware of The Lord Inquisitor, including some Warhammer big shots who are willing to help out. That is why it is so important for there to be a lot of enthusiasm for this project. Thank you for your continuing support, and don't forget to like the Facebook page where information regarding the development of the animation is posted regularly. The more people encourage The Lord Inquisitor, the better it will get - and that is a fact my friends =)

The problem isn't that the voice was too deep, it was that the guy was trying to sound badass, but it just came off as unnatural and crappy.
The animation though is excellent, I'll give him that.
Wow, that's tremendous news! ADB is in my top two BL authors (DA being the other naturally)--and this really puts some authority behind the GW green light. Can't wait!

Well, I had high hopes when Dan Abnett wrote the script for the "Ultramarine" movie and it turned out to be a 1:1 copy of the Aliens movie script.
Hope ADB does a better job.
Wouldn't it be funny if GW still wasn't really paying attention, even with the BL's brightest star involved now? I can totally see this getting shut down 8 months from now.
God I hope not, I desperately want this to be awesome, but I still feel like GW legal are a bunch of down-tuned banjos.
The Son Of Russ wrote:well if this is made into a film, ill be annoyed if it was american voice acted. Too good a film to be tacky :/
Yeah, John Cleese speaking the Lord Inquisitor would give the movie a special character
yeah hehe. what other voice actors could we have? brian blessed playing something of course... alot of the lord of the rings actors could input for maximum awesomeness. but how much is games workshop willing to invest? i mean, they have the money, and if it looks like the trailer, and written by aaron, its well on its way to being a favourite amongst many gaming groups of friends
The author Erasmus has an account here and started a thread on it, but he didn't post this video, so I missed it until yesterday, when posted by natfka.
