Jokes aside, as some of you will know, my flgs is holding an event to make your own army. I chose SMs as it is easy, cheap and I can re-use some AoBR models.

I will keep some models just the way they are for personal reasons.

Just got the BA codex and Astorth to convert into my chapter master yesterday.

How many points is the army going to be?

Pretty good size!

It was the best size for me as It means I have enough room for the models and weapons I want!

I, brother Orion of the Hunter Eagles Chapter, was flying in a Stormraven over a massive forest to engage an ork warband. I looked out my viewport and watched for the first signs of the ork gun line.
"We'll be at the gun line in about 30 minutes!" came the voice of our techmarine pilot "get ready, guys, looks like hell down there!"
I continued to scan the terrain stretched out in front of us.
Then I saw a fluttering trail of parchment. I followed the trail with my eyes. The trail ended at our Chapter Master, Wedge Talon. A mass of gun fire, at that moment, slowly made its way towards him. Then, in a flash of silver, Wedge cut them all into nothing more but glitter with The Eagles Talons. The sparkles slowly made their way past my view port.
Then I fell over backwards. "We've been hit!" came the voice of our techmarine pilot.

A large BOOM! sounded and everyone on board not strapped properly into their seats tumbled over, including me. Warning lights and sirens sounded around the cabin. "The left engine has been hit!, yelled the piloit "You will all have to disembark now! I'll call the Assault squad over to assist you!"
The front Assualt ramp opened and we all got in a line to get picked up, I was at the end. When my turn to be evacuated came, the ship was blasted yet again. I tumbled from the platform. The last thing I saw was the Stormraven become engulfed in flames...

May I please have some comments on the fluff?
This is my secondish time at making a story so I need all the advice/critisim I can get.

Oh, and does anyone know were I can get some power weapons from/how to make them from scratch?

I was MEANT to complete at least 500pts last month, finished nothing.
I have some catching up to do!
Shouldn't be hard, got school holidays soon so it should be easy to complete alot.

I'll finish troops and Hq then move on to honour guard, stormraven + finish off dread (still need blood talon arms)
