This is just me being curious what everyone thinks about which sayings are the sweetest? Such as "BLOOD FOR THE BLOOD GOD", or "FOR THE EMPORER" or"there is no peace, only war"?
"Your foe is well equipped, well-trained, battle-hardened. He believes his gods are on his side. Let him believe what he will. We have the tanks on ours."
Colonel Joachim Pfeiff, Krieg 14th Armoured Regiment
Your presence does not surprise me, Assassin. I have known of you ever since your craft entered the Eastern Fringes. Why did I not have you killed? Because your mission and the act you are about to commit proves the truth of all I have ever said or done. I merely punished those who had wronged, just as your false Emperor now seeks to punish me. Death is nothing compared to vindication.
Seriously speaking: "Some may question your right to kill billions of people. Then again, you have no right to let them live."
"Burn them all, the God Emperor will know his own."
"The difference between Gods and Daemons depends roughly upon where one is standing at the time."
"Before considering how to acheive victory, first make yourself invulnerable to defeat."
"So tell me this. Do you still believe you aren't being used? Do you still think you'll find some... some reward in death for your loyal service?
Do you still think the hatred of the masses is irrelevant? Do you still think your Emperor loves you?"
And of course, the truly epic:
"My sons, the galaxy is burning. We all bear witness to a final truth - our way is not the way of the Imperium.
You have never stood in the Emperor's light.
You never worn the Imperial eagle.
And you never will.
You shall stand in midnight clad, your claws forever red with the lifeblood of my father's failed empire,
Warring through the centuries as the talons of a murdered god.
Rise, my sons, and take your wrath across the stars,
In my name. In my memory.
Rise my Night Lords"

In great armour shall I clad them and with the mightiest guns shall they be armed. They will be untouched by plague, or disease, no sickness shall blight them. They will have tactics, strategies, and machines such that no foe can best them in battle. They are my bulwark against the Terror. They are the Defenders of Humanity. I have seen all the evil that the galaxy harbors, and I have slain all whose presence defiles the Emperor. I have seen what you will see. I have fought what you must fight, and I have slain what you must slay.
Our enemies number untold billions and they will fight you with tooth and claw, with starships and guns, with vile sorceries and corrupt illusions. They are armed with all the strength that evil can muster. But you, brothers, have something more.
You are armoured by the Emperor himself. Righteousness is your shield, Faith your armour and Hatred your weapon. So fear not and be proud, for we are the sons of Sanguinius, the Protectors of Mankind. Aye, we are indeed the Angels of Death." - Commander Dante. Lord of the Blood Angels.

"We die, standing" actually. Love this one as well.
From the DoW series I like others as well:
"An open mind is like a fortress with its gates unbarred and unguarded"
"Pile this one with the others" combat voice over for the chaos sorcerer.
And some random inquisition quotes:
"I carry with me an Inquisitorial Seal. It is a small, unassuming object contained in a neat box of Pluvian obsidian. It is a modest thing. Relatively plain, adorned with a single motif and a simple motto. Yet with this little object I can sign the death warrant of an entire world and consign a billion souls to Oblivion."

and then
"We've run into scorpions the size of battle tanks. Three men died from Eyerot last week and I've sweated enough to fill a lake. Emperor help me. I love this place-it's just like home"

"So the good Inquisitor senses no chaos here... The Imperium is indeed fortunate that such keen eyed eagles stand vigil over her gates...." Marine Captain looking at an altar with a sacrificed guardsman upon it.
"Learn what? Chaos does not teach, it misleads and it betrays..." Verbal backhand to a Librarian from his Captain.
"I was like you once, exactly like you. I was born with a strong body and a stronger mind. I wanted to be somebody, but the universe is so vast and there is always someone stronger. Was it a stranger, who told you there was something more? Some old book or a half-remembered rumor? Perhaps you sought it out yourself because you were convinced it had to be there.
The Word Bearers found you willing, I would imagine. Maybe you found them. They told you about the power you could gain and they showed you, and you believed them. You're stronger, you're braver, you can face anything. The gods just asked that you forget a few of the things you never believed in anyway. Well I hope that does not mean that this new Tau codex you speak of will make Killkrazy's eyes shoot blood in all directions and have her turn bright red in a murderous rage.
I don't remember the exact quote, and it's not from 40K but it something along the lines of:
We are not failures
We have guns, and we will shoot our enemy.
If our guns don't work, we will stab them
If we cannot stab them, we will attack them with our fists
If our fists are broken, we will bite them
If we cannot bite, we will kick them
If our legs are broken, we will crawl to the enemy
If we cannot crawl, we will wait for death
If we cannot die, only then are we failures.

And what are the achievements of your fragile Imperium? It is a corpse rotting slowly from within while maggots writhe in its belly. It was built with the toil of heroes and giants, and now it is inhabited by frightened weaklings to whom the glories of those times are half-forgotten legends. I have forgotten nothing and my wisdom has expanded far beyond mere mortal frailties.

Eldrad is the greatest among us. He is the sun which eclipses the light of our stars. He is Ulthwé and the fate of our kind rests in his hands. His eyes are the keenest, no detail goes unnoticed. Four thousand runes can he cast, guiding our path through torment and war, death and salvation. He is the pathfinder, the seeker, the true guide. Even your race has trembled before his might, though you may not have known it. It was he who guided us to the Ork known as Ghazghkull, and commanded us to steer his path to your world of Armageddon. Ten thousand Eldar lives would have been lost if he had not done so. What sacrifice is a million humans for such a cause?
He knows your affairs better than you do yourself. He warned that weakling seer you call Emperor of the treachery of Horus and the strife which would engulf us, just as it engulfed the rest of the galaxy, but your arrogance deafened you to his words. Your stupidity almost destroyed the galaxy, yet you never knew how close the forces of light were to our ultimate defeat. He saw the Great Devourer and warned our kin on Iyanden, even before they had neared our galaxy.
To him all futures are laid out, just as your crude implements of torture are laid out on the cold metal of that shelf. You say we are random and capricious, we say you are vulgar and idiotic. Some of you call us your enemies. All races are our enemy in time. Some of you call us your allies. You are not allies, any more than a butcher’s knife is his ally. You are tools, nothing more. To be used and expended to protect our race, that is your fate.
Your kind think you are so magnificent, yet even now, at the nadir of our power, we can manipulate you, turn you to our ends, as easily as you might pull a trigger and fire a gun. Our time will come again, Eldrad has promised us. Once more you upstart Mon-keigh [subject spits] shall kneel before our power! This time we will not be so lenient! We will exterminate you, every world, every vessel, every one of you! Eldrad has seen the stars stained red with your blood, and it pleases him!
You think us weak, but we will be your doom, children of Earth.

Sadly I don't have the book near to quote it right.
