My favorite has to be Baal Pred it is probably the most useful piece in my army the opponent sees it move 30 inches first turn with scout and panics giving me atleast two turns to move up and if he ignores it it rips a hole in his infantry plus it's like 115pts

Emperor's Champion, best trolling unit in the game. Nothing like seeing your opponents face when you miss about 80% of your Assault Term attacks only to AAC and reroll to hit 80%.

Baneblade, pesky marines denting your armor, not any more, now their road kill.

At least as far as modeling is concerned I have to give it to Ork warbuggies. You can throw whatever the hell you want to on them, and as long as you paint it red it doesn't matter!

Sternguard Veterans. The sculpts on these guys are awesome. The unit does everything I want them to do, and more. They are a joy to assemble, paint, and field.

I'd say Chaos Terminators. They're fun to build, fun to paint, and good on the tabletop. Plus they can be used as Chaos Lords or Sorcerers with a little bit of converting, which is nice as well.

hmm I would have to say its a tie between the archon and the vindicare. The archon because she is so versatile and the vindicare because whether he does anything or not everyone focus fires on him.

Fluff I have to give it to the Lone Wolf, something just strikes me about a single mourning Bad**s walking up and beating the tar out of some massive gribbly. Otherwise I have to give it to the monolith, its saved my bacon a few times and it draws and generally soaks so much fire.

Striking Scorpions, Other units see 2 hands as a limit to amount of weapons they can hold. Scorpions take one look and attach a pair of LASERS to their HEADS.

fluff wise has to be Dark Eldar Scourges, someone who willingly puts themselves through having their bones hollowed out and wings attached to the back has got to be increadably tough.

Game wise has to be a Grey Knights Brotherhood Champion, they are stupidly hard to kill, 3++ save in CC, try killing them and if you do, you can just wipe out who ever killed you with a psychic power

My favorite unit is the Black templar Emperors Champion

Tau crisis suits- they can be armed for any job and the look on your opponents face when you plasma a unit of terminators then jump behind cover before he can do anything about it.

Scourges and mandrakes, especially because of the new fluff they gained in the current codex.

I've actually had an opponent say "fook you" to me as they contested an objective for 5 turns against two full units of chaos marines and two lords for 5 turns. My opponent kept failing to wipe them out due to their fortuned armor and invul saves bwahaha.

Oh..there is the fact that they punch land raiders in the face too.

Oh, oh, oh! Nine Meganobz with Kombi-Skorcha and with Ghrazkul Thraka in a Battlewagon with Lobba and Missile Launchers. And Deff Rolla. And Wrecking Ball. And Boarding Planks. And Grot Riggers. And all that stuff yu put on a battlewagon when points are not a problem. Except the kilkanon, otherwise it wouldn't count as a dedicated transport. And without the 'Ard case, to make it easier to assault.

The Doombunnies. A Slaaneshi Daemonette unit converted and painted to look like... well... bunnies.

Actually I really like the fluff for possessed chaos marines. How the legions use them to navigate the warp and all that. Funny, considering I've never really used them.

I can only answer fluff-wise, as I haven't really played any proper games, but I love Harlequins. Their looks and fluff just appeal to me for some reason. Actually I like pretty much most Eldar/Dark Eldar, hehe.

Gameplay-wise? I can only answer in theory, but I like the big guns on the Tau Broadsides

Tervigons, why? Nothing says its a "Terror from Space" like a big monster that spawns lots and lots of even more hungry little monsters. As long as you don't roll double one's or two's first movement phase of the game anyway.

Kayvaan Shrike. I like to put him and Lysander in a five man TH/SS Termie squad and then put that in a Land Raider.

Has to be the LRBT, hands down. Front armour 14, BC, and customizable sponosons and can be taken in groups of 3.

Single unit: the new Legion of the Damned Sergeant

Really I love all the LotD stuff. I have about 20 models now. Ten of the older metal/plastic multi-part guys (4th ed?) And about ten of the new guys.

Wolf Guard, best Troops choice in the game.

Favorite model? Death Korps of Krieg Grenadiers.

Favorite unit? From a concept perspective? Imperial Guard Stormtroopers (though awful in excecution). From a gameplay functionality perspective? That's tough. Too many units in too many armies. Chimeras, Hydras, Chaos Terminators, Vendettas, Falcons, War Walkers, etc.

Bah, so many choices...I think my favorite model right now are my FW Broadsides.

I also love the anything DKoK, Swooping Hawks, Ultramarine Honor Guard...I know there are others, but those are the first three that come to mind

My favorite unit has to be Space Marine bikers, with a Chaplain riding alongside them preaching righteous hatred.

Nob bikerz, favorite single character is Kharn the story of him killing other berserkers in the codex is awesome.

Broadside Battlesuit. Nothing like replacing your hands with smart missiles and attaching a strength 10 solid laser to your shoulder.

Probably a toss-up between Hellions and Incubi. The idea of Hellions is too cool and Incubi look like badass wrapped in pointyness.

Forever and ever and ever and ever... and ever.

I love the forge world chaos ogryns that come in two flavors:

Orgyn bersekers (ogryns on majorly nasty combat drugs who dish out some serious pain, and the drugs eventually burn them out)
Plague Ogryns (ogryns dedicated to nurgle)

Both units have feel no pain and d6 attacks in close combat. No ranged weapons at all, but they are just a lot of fun to see my opponent freak out about. Last game I played I had a unit of 3 plague ogryns and they soaked the fire from about 4 or 5 units for about 3+ turns before finally being destroyed. Silly Tau. Meanwhile my plauge marines and plague terminators were able to crunch into the tau battle line without much of any scratches on their armor. All because of those 3 scary lookikng plague ogryns that never got even remotely close to any unit to attack it in hand to hand. Hahahaha

What's my favorite 40k miniature? I don't tend to have one particular favorite. I don't even have an army that remains favorite all the time.

But if I had to pick one, right now...

Either the Sister of Battle with meltagun and respirator, due to her pose - she's like... well, it's hard to describe, but the best I can do in my sleepy mind and heat-induced mind muddle is, "Come on, bring it, just a little closer before I can melt you, then BAM!"

Or the Retributor with heavy bolter, because of her headgear - nifty stuff! - and also because of the whole, "Woman with machine gun," thing.

Sisters of battle are nice, are they a lot of points?

believe it or not I think my favorite unit fluff wise is Imperial Guard Soldiers (Veterans, Regulers, and Whiteshields). Just imagine being this guy:

And my favorite tabletop unit is Tactical Marines. They got a lot of firepower (disagree? try playing Imperial Guard once in a while, WITHOUT Tanks and those other gubbinz) with their bolters to begin with, and can also become proficient with other combat duties in a pinch, such as the 5 point lascannon and free flamer.

Wolf Lods are my favorite. Give them Warrior Born and send them into infantry. They get more and more attacks as they go!

Sternguard. There is nothing more awesome than that picture in the SM codex... And the whole idea of absolute n00b-pwners. Their effectiveness on the tabletop only helps.

Also, firing a boltgun with one hand is just badass!

I always feel happy taking him. Even if he doesn't kill anything, I still feel more safe with him around. I remember one game his transport got blasted early game and he spent the rest of the game running around the battlefield by himself killing no one. What he did do was dictate where my opponent moved stuff as he was intent on not getting assaulted by Abaddon. Good times.

That's me. And Sam, you don't even know his stats. He was to be considered a primarch but Leman Russ took his olace in the space wolves. So he is the supreme wolf king. His stats are awesome, like 5 W 5 A 2+ Sv and all of his specials. They make the game fair and he's almost 300 points, so he is great. But I like Najal Storm caller because his powers are so much fun.

Definitely the Eldar Wraithlord. Immense strength and toughness, nearly impossible to take down for a regular infantry unit. And they will beat any imperial dreadnought in combat, even a Dreadknight.

Pariahs, they just have a sinister feel and look, and because there not real necrontyr, you can basically go for the dawn of war style as them being half human half machine abominations!

My battle suits have yet to dissapoint me. They always kill things and bust open whatever I ask, I do not know where my tau army would be without my Shas-O. We just need something to make firewarriors either cheaper or worth their points and then they will be my favorite.
