While I really like the kaptin Ivanka model I think this one looks a little more realistic, bustier asside you could almost see a female commisar wearing this.

Any scale shots with other minis?

Came within 2 seconds of buying....but then I realized I suck at skin. This model needs a professional painter to do it justice

Pre-ordered mine, chances are I'll replace the pistol with something a bit more elegant from Zinge.

I feel like they slapped a greatcoat onto a female swashbuckling pirate-girl mini and called it 'good'.

I simply don't see the need for the decolletage, and normally I'm pretty tolerant of that sort of thing in fantasy/scifi minis. She should be a grim, authoritarian figurine.

Chances are she'll find a way into my Rogue Trader collection, where the thrown together uniform does fit the setting.

That is awesome. Actually looks more like some kind of pirate captain to me though. Still cool as hell.

You guys mentioning the cleave, you could technically paint her chest as if she was just wearing a shirt\bustier combo, or an undershirt.

Looks enough like my current female Commissars (that's right I added an S to that) so I ordered two of them. Might run them as Lord Commissars.

A great sculpt! I have to say the paintjob does not completely do it justice (though it is still very good)

I like her. She's actually pretty reminiscent of the old GW female commissar, right down to the apparently standard issue commissarette corset.

Painting a hot undershirt over a hot bustier (or whatever) might de-emphasize the
cleave, but I think it takes the kink factor up a notch.

Shocking as it may sound, the face is the first thing I looked at. Many sculpters fall at the first fence when it comes to female faces (there are some truly dreadful efforts out there, which mar what would be an otherwise sound model) but the face on this lady is fantastic. I disapprove of the corset though, since I can't imagine any commisar thinking the way to inspire fear and awe in your soldiers is with cleavage. But for the face alone I'd still buy this model!

To discuss the miniature, yes, Steve Party made a really amazing job for us. He succeed to put a 54mm level of details on a 28/32mm. The face is particuraly well done!

I like it. Her body shape and the face is good, which is the most important thing, and I've got no problems with the 4+ Carapace corset.

LOVE this mini. If i played gaurd i would have one in my army for sure. Maybe some day i will have enough cash and time to buy all the minis that there are out there that look as awsome as this one does.

That he did. Without the scale being mentioned, I would have assumed it was a 40mm or 54mm mini. Lovely work, and I've ordered one for the proto-guard army that has been amassing for some years now... So she might even make it onto a table one day...

It sounds like most Dakka members are also in fear and awe of the cleavage of a 28mm model which is supposed to be the representation of a woman.

Just a note to say, mine arrived this morning. Lovely fig, had a small air bubble in the cloaks corner, but nothing to worry about, just trimmed it down and filled with superglue.

Other than that she was left sitting on the side waiting for her glue to fully dry before I put her on the base after work.

Can't wait to start painting her, and looking forward to whatever you folks come up with next.

now i cant understand why the hell GW won't make female imperial models like this one? are they gay or something???? because this is selling like hotcakes and I'm sure if they made one it would too.

I'm pretty sure sexual preference has nothing at all to do with GW's business strategy. Making a single model out of the blue for a well-established army is not particularly profitable, especially not when they have an entire new line of models (Necrons) hitting the stores soon and a few more lined up after it.

High-heeled boots and a bustier-esque upper garment? I can't see any Commissar worth her salt wearing those into combat on a muddy, bloody field. Otherwise, this miniature is very well done. I would love to see a version with more sensible footwear and a slightly open miltary style shirt (or fully buttoned with a cravat).

Any converters out there? Pick up the gauntlet and post some pics!

Got mine at the weekend, Scales well with my Krieg guardsmen. Perhaps could have been little better packaged as my blister was crushed. Other than that I’m very pleased with it.

I'm a costumer of these both shops (EB & NMG). I pre-ordered a Viktoria Skivlana as soon as it was available because I wanted to put colors on it.
This model is extremly fine and the details are amazing. I'm not really familiar with resin models, and at first sight I felt like "OMG how will I be able to paint this ?". But it was a real pleasure to paint.

I already showed it in the gallery, but this is the result :



BTW, their resin bases are good stuff too. I re-based all my old terminators on 40mm in a record time thanks to these bases.

Not wishing to overly promote another company in warforge's thread, but Hasslefree have some good examples.

Pardon the necro, but I got my mini today! Excellent casting quality, sturdy resin has been used for the model with no holes or bubbles, just some flash. The model is as good as advertised and both Warforge and Eurobitz receive a pat on the back for their good work.

Another necro, but I got my order from EuroBitz today after seeing this post with the Wizz & Wigg squig. I was suprised to recieve my order in under 4 days from France to the U.S. The cast is perfect with hardly even a mold line. Hope to see more from EuroBitz!

Just to thanks you about you warn return on Warforge and Eurobitz.

In the disorder:
-May be one day there will be a retailer in the US, it will be a very great acknowledgement of our product quality. Until then, just the boring old world can provide you Warforge stuff.
-The Tolosae Canon will be back, it has some production issues that we are currently fixing and it will be available in large quantities soon. (Surely in May)
-The weapon bitz seen on another subject will be available soon as well (May as well). This time was bad luck, the french post has lost the parcel with the original printing...
-Eurobitz has received 50 Viktoria. We will be receiving more soon.

And so, I hope to come back here very soon...
