I wouyld have just gotten out of the truck, Stood there, pulled out my cell and called the police.
Harrassment charges, coupled with endangering my child.....
I would have distanced her from the kids. Either made her move some distance back to discuss it ( say discuss, all she does it rant) or asked my wife to take the kids for a walk.
Of course, I would then put the loudmouth in a position of having to lay hands on me, hopefully just as the police arrive.... If they witness an assault they are required to make the arrest.

You are putting a lot of hope in them actually responding to the call in the first place and i'm sure there is a way in which that could be used against you.

Actually, it's battery when it becomes physical. Assault is the fear and threat of violence. It's alright, a LOT of people confuse that.

I don't even know how you respond in a situation like that. I think recording her and putting her online was probably the best way to do it. Normally I'm horrified at the internet's inability to forget, but this is one of those situations where she just deserves everything she has coming to her.

Is the Prius really that better in price? It starts around $23k and a low end Honda Civic starts around $15k. That means you'd have to travel 150,000 miles to make up the difference (at $4/gallon).
That's assuming you're only looking for the cheapest transport. I'll admit that low end Honda Civics kinda suck to drive and I'll acknowledge that the Toyota Prius is a nicer ride.
Did you get some sort of discount on the Prius that made it cheaper?

Judging by the video it seems to be about the size of his family. Yeah lol, his farm where he has forestes. In his edit of the video he says he has a office job but uses a truck every weekend. So what he is telling us is he drives around like a big shot a majority of the time with his huge diesel truck and maybe gives it proper use once a week.... Working at a marketing position though, it makes sense that he would have to portray himself as "successful" with his ride.

Don't assume the worst about one person and the best about another. Painting the man behind the camera as a 'douchebag' isn't a good move, especially when we can all see the video.

I'm pretty sure the only people that as a collective group look down on other drivers are: Prius owners. IIRC the southpark episode is called "smug alert" and it's not about truck owners.
If I choose to buy a truck or SUV for my family of two that never leaves the city limits, that's my right. I make the payments, and I pay for the gas. If you choose to question why I need it, then who is trying to feel superior?
