You really should straighten up that staff a lil, it's pretty wonky.

I know, I've been trying to get it straight since I got the model.
It's more straight now, though, thanks for pointing it out!

Immortal will be getting a chaos black spray today, so I can paint him (or should that be it ) up

A couple of things, try to make the lightning a bit thinner, you could also try to 'splinter' the lighting to get that arcing effect.

Your coats seem to be a bit thick in certain areas, such as the cape and chest, try thinning your paints a bit more

The reason the paint looks thick, is because the undercoat didn't go on so well...
It was the first model I ever undercoated (did that back in 09)

I've just had an idea....

...see, lst night I was looking for my booklet of Spearheads...

...I couldn't find it...

...so this morning I printed off the full version, with the new Spearheads...

...and one of them took my fancy...

...the Stronghold Spearhead...

...that got me thinking...

...why don't I make a Necron-Themed Stronghold?...

...and that's my idea!

I'll be using the imperial Stronghold as a visual basis

Heavy Bolters ->Gauss Blassters

Sentry Guns -> Guass Cannon or Tesla Cannon

What do you all think?

I also need help on naming my Dynasty... They are a break-off of the Charnovokh Dynasty... from way before the War in the Heavens...

Monolith=half built
Immortals=started (just)
Warriors=hoping I get some triarch praetorians to make half of them cryptecs. The rest I'm desiding wether to make them a 5-man (or robot ) squad of warriors, or convert them into tomb blades
Sacarbs (from warriors)=done!, well, besides the painting, and the rest of the basing...

And the barge from yesterday=done! except for basing, painting and building the tesla annhilator so I can switch between the 2
Overlord from the kit=done! except for painting and basing. ATM, tho, I think he looks a bit to, I don't know, un fit to be the ruler of a Dynasty

ok, monolith is built, but I need liquid greestuff to fill in all the holes....

I didn't get any triacrh prea's, but it doesn't matter
I'll make 2 night scythes and 5 tomblades instead

I'm stoked, to because today my local GW is in a vehicular mood, from 10-3 there is a masive vehicle only game, and at 3:30 there is a race! this time I'll win, unlike my sectacular crash and burn the almost took out 5 other competitors

another reason I'm stoked is that I got a PS3 yesterday, and with it Warhammer 400000: Space Marine3 (oh,and grand turismo 5, and ratchet and clank tools of destruction )


anyway, with the nightscythes, 1 will carry the 5 robot warrior squad, the other the immortal squad.

I've actually been figuring out a list, and it's playable in my local GW (they only have 1 gaming table where they currently are... the old shop had about 3...)

yeah, you could buy it normally from a shop, but then all you get is a handbook and (apperently) a disk that sends you too the steam download page...

Needs more necron pics, even WIP would be nice...might make it more then a 2 person chatroom XD nice lightning effects though a wash might help.

I've been buisily building cron's the past couple of days, including more scarabs



or tommorow, seeming my goddamn camera is being annoying

funny thing is, I scored more than most, and actually KILLED them without assistance
