I was thinking about a game I played recently and decided to find out your best moments mine is either=
killing a squad of dire avengers in combat with only two grey knights
or when a commissar killed more IG then my termimator squad and librarian put together

Killing 10 Grey Knights with a single Bladestorm from a Dire Avenger squad.

In a recent Apocalypse game I wrecked an undamaged Baneblade with a single round of fire from a Thunderbolt fighter. I got my teeth kicked in the rest of the battle but that was pretty sweet.

In an Apoc game, on turn 1 Bjorn Fell-handed faced off against a Stompa - he took off 1 structure point with his assault cannon, and then assaulted it and literally punched it to death. Then next turn he ran over to a Leman Russ and punched it to death and then took out a battlewagon before the game ended. He was invincible that game.

In a team game, one of my friends was borrowing my Space Wolves and used Logan, running him by himself. He took out a ton of Chaos Marines single-handedly and shrugged off 2 turns of enemy shooting (including shots from a Baneblade and Shadowsword), and didn't die.

MY Pimped out Hive Tyrant taking on 5 Striking Scorpians, 4 Warlocks and a Farseer, all Witchblades, 3 Shining Spears including Exarch, and the Avatar, on his own, dealing one attack per combat round to each unit ( I killed the Farseer in Round 1), and not only surviving, but winning.

And then getting his last wound buggered by a D cannon

Or, wiping my friends new Stormtroopers of the facem o9f the board with 2 Pallies.


Or ID his HWS with an Assault Cannon. Apparrently, HW teams can't suffer ID, because there is an unwritten rule that they are 2 models on 1 base.

Squad of 10 Guardians with Scatter Laser and Eldrad wiped a squad of 10 Nobs with FnP.

They have all now been promoted and see regular use in my army!

Well it was not my moment but it was the baddest assery moment I have yet seen in a game...

During a huge 30k per side Apoc game, this Guy....


Ole Ghazghkull Mag Urk Thraka, was stepped on by this thing...



And on the turn when he was trod upon Ghazzy called down his special Waagh, and survived the massive tread of the Reaver Titan

As the Titan's foot lifted from the 2 meter indention it left in the ground, Ghazghkull pulled himself from his Ghazghkull shaped indention, dusted off his armor and said "Oi where do ya think yer going big un..weze got unfinshied buzniss!"

Ghaz then attacked the Titian crawling up his massively armored foot and to its vital leg joint, where upon he ripped out so many vital bits the Titan crashed to the ground and exploded ( several sixes were rolled and chain reactions ensued)

And through the haze, dust and heat distortion of the fallen Titian, the Ork warlord strode forth, cast his baleful eye about and bellowed.."NEXT!"

This great moment brought a cheer from everyone playing, other than the Titan's owner that is, who was very butthurt, and pouted most profoundly

I had a ig sgt who was the last one holding an objective get charged by a th/ss termie. I rolled my 3 dice, got a 2,3,4. So one hit. I picked it up, knowing it was futile, seeing as i needed a 5+, i got a 6. My oppounet was like "so what, i got a 2+ armor save". He then rolled a 1. My sgt, who by all means should have been squished, killed a termir. He got a field promotion to platoon commander.

And then got shot before he performed in his new role I'm guessing?

No. He sat on the objective for another round. And now his model is the one i use for my platoon commander. And he never seems to die. Its weird.

Both my vindicators had their cannons torn off first turn. They then spent the rest of the game rampaging out of control. Ghaz tried to stop one of the them: instead he ripped off the storm bolter and then got ran over.

A group of five scouts, with a combi-melta/powerfist sarg and a land speeder storm outflanked a grey knight gunline. In three turns they destroyed four of six rifle-dreads. Then they died a very horrible death to massed heavy bolters.


As an aside, there are to "unwritten rules" in this game. IG HWT can be instant deathed just like anything else.

It would have to be a Chaos Lord from 2nd Ed taking on 8 genestealers, 3 Tyranid Warriors, 2 Carnifexes and a Hive Tyrant in HtH.....and winning......

When my single Plaguebearer was charged by a DP. A couple of assault phases later, the Plaguebearer stepped over the Daemon Prince's corpse.

lol good storys, I thought of another one me and my friend who controlled of his titan in an apoc game against orks the ork enemy went first and masses all his boyz up (so far he hadn't seen the titan because it was hidden behind me and my friends cases under a table behind our legs (we were trying to make sure he didnt see it)) when we set up our army's the look on his face when we put a titan with a turbo laser destroyer and a plasma blast gun on the table opposite his footslogging 5000 point army of orks then put a wall of guard and grey knights including 4 of my friends leman russes and his bane blade and my dread knight with a heavy phycannon called hammer of heretics


(just so you know we were playing kill points final score 17-8 to us only 15 of my 1500 points worth of knights dead (and yes he did have more points then me I know) I think you can guess who killed the most orks)

When I roll 5x 1s for my termie assault squad

My Knight-Commander got pretty fed up when Warboss OddTeef called him a 'Grey-skinned panzee' across the battlefield and in retaliation killed twenty-four of Ork boyz around him with a Crisis Squad of twin-linked flamers and punched a clean, basket-ball sized hole in the Greenskin's gob from his fusion blaster.

Or, for me, when a Stompa I was cotrolling trampled some Sanguary Guard, and then rammed his Chainfist up Dante's backside.

3vrs3 apoc game.
My allied chaos player brings a war hound from reserve start of turn 3. It promptly blasts a hole through the enemy dreadnought line.
Next turn the enemy chaos player flank marches his tricked out commander with a vortex grenade right beside the war hound. Tosses the grenade....which rebounds off the warhound and lands smack on top of the commander. Too funny.

Same turn, the ork player (allied with Ill fated chaos commander) brings ghaz and 5 mega nobs right up to my revenant.. (via flank march) shooting fails, charge.... Failed when the revenant decided to punt 3 of the nobz then make all of his saves. Next turn ghaz plus crew got a pulsar to the face.

Then there was the flank marching Necron (cryptecs?) jump infantry running into a reaver and introducing it to the existence of entropic strike. Reaver Titan never got a shot off. Showed up, got ganked.....next!

When my 5 purifiers took out Abbaddon with 3 terminators in one shooting phase.

When my Vindicare Assassin was charged by 5 Howling Banshees and killed them all without taking a single wound. To make it that much more epic, my Vindicare is painted up as Deadpool, complete with a pair of swords on his back (just modeled, I don't try to claim them as actual weapons)

Best moment for me was back in 3rd edition with my Sisters of Battle using the Codex: Chapter Approved list. My seraphim were stuck-in with a ridiculously suped-up Ork Warboss with his meganob bodyguard (I seem to recall that an abnormally large % of the army was tied-up in this HQ unit).

The Sister Superior leading the seraphim was "killed" by the warboss, passed her "Spirit of the Martyr" roll, got up, and killed the warboss by rolling lights-out on her attacks (all sixes on the wounds with her power sword).

For me it was squishing a Great Unclean One with a deffrolla. lol

Having a bloodthirster singlehandedly take on an entire 1500pts of eldar. He litterally made 40+ saves. The other guy got desperate and suicided wraithlords, it didn't work. I ended up losing (killpoints) because the rest of my army pretty much killed itself with mishaping and a guided bladestorm isnt nice against bloodletters. Ever since that day I'm no longer allowed to field bloodthirsters with my local group. Why? because thats only above average rolling for that monstrosity.

lol I know a tau player who killed a war hound by charging 5 squads of fire warriors at it and flinging 50 EMP grenades on it the warhound then did and apocalyptic explosion killing the last of his troops in a objective game

Personally one of my favorite moments is when Draigo stepped up with all his Paladin friends to slay the schemeing Changer of Fates, Karios Fateweaver. With Halberds and swords drawn the heroes of the Imperium charged into the twin headed demonic beast.

Nemesis force weapons crackled against the Oracle of Tzeentch's protective wardings. His wizened frame shuddered under the pressure of the might of the Imperium's finest.

And with the flick of a wrist, the Supreme Grand master of the Imperium was reduced to a gibbering, drooling spawn. Centuries built up psychic protection and inscribed runes powerless agaisnt a gift of chaos.

In the last turn of a tournament game that determined who took first place, my wyches and an archon were locked in combat with some orks and a big mek. We were tied for killpoints in the start of the assault phase. The power-claw wielding nob killed the archon, putting the other player ahead by one, but not before my wyches and archon put a hurt on the unit of orks. Despite killing several wyches, the orks lost combat, and failed their leadership even with the reroll from a boss pole and were run down by the remaining wyches, granting me two kill points and winning the tournament.

Managing to kill off an entire unit of FW in one turn with my DC Dreadnought with Blood Talons. Absolutely Hilarious

Sarg had powersword, other 4 (2 w bolters, 2 with CCW)... so they shoot pistols (got a lucky wound)... and charged out of cover into CC with Dreadknight. He annihilated two or three of them (don't remember), but, as its simultaneous attacks... the 4 power weapon attacks and 10 standard attacks got the other 3 wounds. IIRC, 2 of those were from the Scout Sarg and one other attack got through.

Really not that remarkable when you think about it. I never know why people are so intimidated by dreadknights. I've killed 5 so far, with no really significant loses to speak of (Sternguard laugh at these guys within range 12").

Apoc Battle Crons and BA (yes you may facepalm) vs. Tau and IG

(This is pre newcrons)

Necron Lord who has been affectionately named Commander Douchecock by my opponents VoD'd himself and a squad of 5 Heavy Destroyers (unit sized increased thanks to WBB) behind enemy lines where the heavy destroyers took advantage of a Leman Russ Squadron's rear armor and penned all three of them, wrecked one, immobilized another, and Stunned and Weapon destroyed the third. The Tau came in to support the IG and killed 2 heavy destroyers with devilfish and some firewarriors, unfortunately all too close to my lord. Lord equipped also with Nightmare shroud and a Warscythe went into assault with the firewarrior squad, killed two of them (they didn't even put a single wound on the lord) and then finished them off in a sweeping advance when they failed their morale test. My opponent then diverted the Devilfishes attention from the Heavy Destroyers to the lord slaying him or so they thought.... and he gets back up (BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!). The Lord would go onto wrecking another devilfish and Nightmare shrouding a squad of Kroot who ended up running off the board. And then for his grand finale, what was more fitting then a Hellhammer. He marched up to the Hellhammer striking at it's rear armor, 3 hit, 3 pen, and wouldn't you know it, Apocalyptically explodes the sucker 13". Sure Commander Douchecock died in the blast, but that was epic as the explosion took out a chimera, a couple broadsides, wrecked another Leman Russ, and Castellan Creed. It was pure win.

(And with the newcron codex I couldn't just leave my poor Commander to become part of a Royal Court, so I decked him out and use him as an Overlord)

Basically the entirety of my last game was funny as hell with my Nobz squad. The squad ran about 600 points (entirely pimped out with power klaws, with weapons and banners used to differentiate) and basically walked through:

A full squad of Chaos Space Marines
Their Land Raider
2 Crypteks with a Necron Lord
A full squad of Necron Warriors

What made it so amazing was that they took fire the entire time they were out of assault, and took next to no wounds from combined cover saves and FNP. Funnily enough, the same squad then walked through difficult terrain to assault the CSMs and took 5 dangerous wounds.

Once skimmed with my necron command barge, past an entire blockade of IG forces and shot a Tachyon Arrow (str 10 ap1, infinite range ftw) at the back of the one leman russ type tank that had the biggest gun, leaving him unable to shoot for some time, too bad it didnt explode tho

Another great moment was blowing up a different friend's Chaos Land Raider and his Defiler in the same turn (I love Railguns)

Ork Big Shoota Wrecking a Eldar War Walker in one Turn of Shooting

Old One Eye rampages through an IG platoon so I counter charge with my Heroic Senior Officer (not the latest codexes for IG or 'Nids) I wound him once with HSO's PF, he kills everyone but the HSO. Round Two. HSO take two wounds, tallies up two more on Old One Eye, one of which is recovered. Round Three. To set the scene my battle line is just holding, one more turn of combat/ close range shooting and I will wipe out two 'Nid squads, freeing up troops to take out their warriors (hopefully). But, if Old One Eye kills my HSO in this, my turn, combat, he will be free to flank my two platoons and pair of Basilisks in his turn, wrecking any chance of victory I may have The combat starts with Old One Eye causing 5 wounds. So, five 5+ refractor field invulnerable saves. Odds anyone?

My HSO replies and causes four wounds on Old One Eye with his PF, slamming him to the ground

To sum up the rest of the battle he went on to punch a Zoanthrope by himself and finish off two Warriors with the help of a platoon of IG. Fun times

I have a new one from my battle yesterday.

My Vindicare took 4 wounds from a squad of Guardian Jetbikes. He saverd 2 of them, and should have died. Then he saved both with his 6+ FNP!

Another is when on turn 2, Draigo ate his whole armie's firepower, and then took 1 wound from the fire prism. I made so many flukey saves.


In the same game, on turn 1 and 2, Eldrad used Fortune on the Pathfinders, and 2 wounds from perils from both.




In a game last summer, my Zoanthrope ate about 12 Bright Lances and 3 Krak Missiles each of the 5 turn he could be shot. He saved them all. He then went to charge the Warwalker, but took a wound from DT. Over 2 turns, he immobilised and removed all itsd weapons, then 10 Genestealers rushed over and it exploded. Both the avatar and the Zopanthrope died.

Had to be when a lone shot shot that landed from a Las Pistol took the final wound off Wazdakka Gutsmek. That Sarge in now in my Command Squad.

oh my gosh, just now, my necron overlord single handedly assaulted a joined squad of 3 IG infantries, with a comissar, took no wounds, did 2, commissar fails the morale check TWICE and they all die :O

What is he armed with?

I think one of the best ones happened just last night at my weekly league game. The mission is "Breakout" from the 3rd Edition rulebook (basically the attacker has to get off the board from the center, defender has to stop them). By the last turn, things weren't looking up for me - he had a Land Raider primed and ready to leave the battlefield on my turn, I had nothing to deal with his one Crusader left on the field (immobilized, and I got points for kills) other than some Kans that were slowly making their way towards it through terrain. I have one Nob left out of a 30-man blob with a single wound left, which his Land Raider has just tried to run over by going Cruising.

My last turn:

Squad of kans fires its rokkits, gets one lucky shot and immobilizes the Land Raider that is going to score major points for him.
Other squad of kans finally rolls a 6 through terrain and gets into assault range of the immobilized Raider.
Nob charges the now-immobilized Raider and gets a 6...followed by another 6.
Kans assault the Crusader and roll 7 pens against it, blowing it up.

I won 1702.5 to 297.5. It was an amazingly lucky final turn that turned the game much more in my favor.

After Inquisitor Karamazov charged my Firewarriors, he finished off all but the squad leader. Prior to this, plasma brought him down to two wounds. You see where this is going. Oh yes. I roled a 5 and a 6, two hits. TWO sixes...two wounds. Anyone care to guess his Armor Saves rolls? Snake Eyes. we both just stared at the dice until i started laughing my butt off

I had a very satisfying moment this Wednesday.

Was playing with a new mates at our LGC in a 2 vs 2 Anihillation mission. My CSM and Tau vs SM and Tau.

I also got the opposing Tau players Crisis Commander too. Anyway combat ensues and My standard marines fail to cause any unsaved wounds, as does the Crisis commander. So it came down to the PF Asp Champ and Captain to finish the fight. I rolled 3 hit, 2 wounds, Termi Captain instant kills.uld get the charge, but I managed to get it, just. I also got the opposing Tau players Crisis Commander too. Anyway combat ensues and My standard marines fail to cause any unsaved wounds, as does the Crisis commander. So it came down to the PF Asp Champ and Captain to finish the fight. I rolled 3 hit, 2 wounds, Termi Captain instant kills 2 of my marines. He rolls for his invulnerable saves. Snake eyes. One dead termi Captain!

Word Bearers not so tough, eh? I think we made our point!

Scout Sgt with Melta Bombs kills Ravager(a Chaos Reaver) Titan in one go.

He infiltrates 12" away, and in his turn he moves, runs (Shrike made him fleet!) and assaults. Hits and Penetrates and rolls continuous 6s!
After 5 Chain Reactions and a Structural Damage, he Apoc Explodes it!

He rolled 29" for range! Sure, my 100pts of scouts, but he lost about 2500 pts of Plague Marines!

watching my death company dread equipped with blood talons rip apart 2 full squads of boys and 2 nobs

My tyranids versus a guard army holding out in a base. We were using the forgeworld electric fields, set up in a box at four points, and this was 4th edition. So I was throwing endless waves of gaunts to try and overload the fields losing dozens of gaunts. They brought up guard to rapid fire and flamer my gaunts. But just at that moment the field collapsed and the beam realigned to the nearest point and scythed through an Imperial guard squad; turning them to ash with their own weapons.

AoBR Dread vs a Stompa, fired the multimelta at around 15". First hit, pen, chain reaction, chain reaction, chain reaction, chain reaction, wrecked......I was hoping it would explode too, but still, it was epic.

Not really amazing, since it's Marbo and amazing is just a normal day for him.....

Dropped him into cover in front of tiberius and 10 legion of the damned that had just been "blinked" up the field by tiberius. Threw an demolition charge, wounded them all, all 10 legion failed their 3+ invuln save. :-D

Playing 1500 points, my vulkan led salamanders vs chaos demons. He gets turn 1, and dumps the fateweaver in front of my gunline. I shoot everything at him (a full LRC, a pred, 2 full tac squads, a 10 man scout sniper squad, and a lascannon dread). Nothing gets past the 2+ invuln. My last shooting unit, the rhino, fires the storm bolter. 2 hits, 2 wounds, it goes through his armor. He fails leadership, and promptly leaves the table (special rule of his). My opponent was dumbstruck. We ended up tying for objectives.

GUTTED

This one was for my opponent, but still a great one.

I'm again playing 1500 with my salamanders against dark eldar. Turn one my land raider gets exploded by dark weapons, so vulkan and the 7 termies come piling out. Turn two, wyches assault the termies, I loose combat by like one wound, so morale check on ld 10. 12. Damn. And since they haven't moved at all, I'm extremely close to the board edge. I roll for run distance, 4". So not enough for the auto regroup. Next turn roll for distance and they are off the board. Something like 700 points, dead in 2 turns without them doing anything. Awesome.

A single Ravager taking out four Razorbacks before getting blown up by a bolt pistol

Destroyed two Leman Russes with a single Manticore shot (they were not squadron'ed).

Seeing an Ork trukk full of Nobs as Troops burning towards a winning objective after a long bloody fight... single sniper round blew that thing sky high.

Mine would be when one squad of ten Necron warriors survived 3 rounds of shooting from humaguants -or however you spell that- totaling in 100+ made armor and WBB saves, there was one 'cron that refused to die -this was a 500pnt game and I was using the old 'cron dex..-

2nd Edition. My land speeder gets shot down. For the kiddies, in 2nd Edition, vehicles had specific crews that could survive the destruction of their vehicles in some circumstances and would then become their own infantry units. Typically this was largely irrelevant, but for Space Marines, this suddenly meant a new T4, 3+ Save Space Marine with a bolt pistol on the board.

Surviving the fiery crash by jumping free, this battle brother is all alone and surrounded by the filthy Eldar scum. Undaunted, he runs to take cover from the Eldar Guardians menacing him with their shuriken catapults, back when those were a scary prospect to a Space Marine. Even worse, the battle brother is perilously close to an objective. Steeling himself against the Eldar's ten inch charge range, wondering how they could move that fast, our heroic brother readies his bolt pistol in one hand, and his combat knife in the other. Through two grueling rounds of close combat, the Guardians refuse to break, and our hero refuses to die as he whittles down his waify, pointed eared foes, thus leaving the objective uncaptured.

From that day forward, my land speeder crew members were outfitted with chainswords just in case one day again they might be called upon to bring death to the enemies of the Emperor from the ground. I also converted one of the old two piece Sergeant models from the 2nd edition boxed set to have his right arm raised in a rather untoward gesture. Sadly he has disappeared over the many intervening years. But I still like to think he is out there, somewhere, chainsword a-whirring, grumbling about how the rules of subsequent editions had robbed him of further glory.

Perhaps the second was watching the face of a kid we called "Cheesy" when his Abaddon was pinned down by a small group of Termagants with stranglewebs for almost an entire game.

A large apocalypse game with 5k+ points on both sides.
In the middle of the board was a small hill were a Champion of the Emperor met a Daemon Prince in combat. A huge battle was raging all around them while they were in close combat. Every template scattered off them, it was a battle for the ages. All the players agreed the winner of the cc would win the match, and after a few rounds of of cc, the emperor's champion came out on top barely. Twas' glorious.

I have two. 1st was back in 2nd or 3rd when imperial guard still have paliminary barrages. I kept my guard back and tabled a 1500 pt tyranid army and only lost 2 guardsmen. End of the game I had a carnifex thrown at me... When they were pewter and it hurt. Second was a couple months ago when 3 scout sentianls out flanked on the wrong board edge so I unloaded 3 multilasers into a 5 man terminator sq. I think I made 7 wounds and the guy rolled a yatzee. 5 ones and poof 105 pts of sentinals and a couple hundred pt teminiator squad died

The greatest battle moment?

When El'Valyth'Shirada, or Commander Dark Spear disarmed Chapter Master Edwin Kuutor of the Spectral Tigers of his prized Assault Cannon 'Maul', a Chapter Relic no less, and is currently integrating the behemoth weapon into his suit.

Basically it was the climactic point on a store Campaign where I earned the highest achievement possible; slaying the opposing forces supreme commander. The prize was one of the two 'special' weapons adorned on the Character. When the Character loses both his weapons, his army was out of the campaign. And the maximum 'special weapons' a character could carry was three.

By the end, I had an assault cannon that was heavy 6, a Kustom Mega-Blaster that causes instant death, and a pretty ornate shield that gave him Eternal Warrior.

I have not been playing this game long. However my brother and I were playing a game,(I'm Orks, He's Chaos Space Marines.) he always annoyed me when he brought out his Daemon Prince because he kept killing my Warboss or blows up my battlewagons.. But this time, it was different.

The Daemon Prince scattered his deep strike right in front of my wagon with 20 boyz inside. When his turn was over my boyz all come out and killed the bastard. Needless to say my brother was pissed and I sadistically enjoyed his rage.

Killing a carnifex and 3 genestealers with a castellan (chainsword, bolt pistol, artificer amour, Iron halo and terminator honours).

1.) A squad fo 12 ork boys open fire at a squad of 10 terminators. Kill three and the squad breaks.

2.) My squad of 5 plaguebearers is charged by a herald of Khorne on a Juggernaught. The plaguebearers kill the herald afer 2 rounds of combat.

3.) Using a deffrolla on my opponent's last model ( a hive tyrant) to have him death or glory; both models kill each other.

4.) Having a single deffkopta survive 4 rounds of fire from potential instant death because he was all about the cover saves.

Driving OVER my own wrecked Rhino with my second Rhino (ending up with intact Rhino sitting on top of upside-down wrecked Rhino), passing its difficult/dangerous terrain test, and tank-shocking the Big Mek with Shokk Attack Gun that had fired itself at the first Rhino the turn it got wrecked. Said Big Mek then rolled double-six for his leadership and ran off the board.

That one kill point from my heroic Rhino's last-ditch effort tied me the kill-point game... where my Land Raider exploded and my Vindicator's gun got shot off on the very first turn, before either of them could do anything. XD Emperor's balls, but that was a messy, entertaining fight. Bloody Orks.

When my Vendetta made it through the game without getting shot down!!

When my opponent was gloating how his 10 man terminator squad would wipe out my crusader squad. So he decides to shoot at them. And kills a couple. I make my rightoues zeal test, I pass and run out of assualt range. This meant I could run onto aan unheld objective(it was capture and control) and win the game.

When a normal dred deepstriked next to a stomp a that was on a rampage and untouched then blew it up with a single shot from its multi melt a.

1200 point game, my footslogging iG vs Dark Eldar.

I lost one Guardsman.

Tabled the dark Eldar.

The Hydra is now my best friend. It was also a battle in which I learned that the punisher isn't entirely useless. A standard russ is far better, but a Punisher is great simply because you can say "11 hits, wounding on a 2+." The looks you get from some opponents is priceless

The other day I was playing against my friends hated Blood Angels Storm Raven.It was carrying a Furioso Dread and a Librarian and terminators. We were playing capture and control. I had a razorback with some grey hunters in it cruising up the side of the board on the opposite side of where my main force was. I was hoping to draw fire on it and sacrifice it.
Lo and behold it worked. Storm Raven moved 24" and wrecked it. I always run my Grey Hunters with Plasma Pistols and Melta Guns. I shot at the Storm Raven with the melta gun and plasma pistol. Rolled a 1 with the melta and a 6 with the plasma pistol. Ok sweet at least I hit with the plasma pistol I thought. Ok so i need a 5 or a 6 to do anything. BOOM a 6 for a pen. Cover save? NOPE he rolled a 2. This was the slower dice roll ever. It spun on a corner FOREVER! and it lands on a six MUHAHAHAHAHAH in your face!!!! He was pissed as you could imagine. The rest on the game I had my vindicator wiping out his HQ and termies. His furioso fell victim to me twin linked lascannon and side lascannon predator the same turn. He was quite up set that game. But he usually runs two Storm Ravens and two furiosos (unlike this time). Termies or Death company in one of Mephiston in the other. I feel no pity for him.

When my BA Furioso dread Blasted 5 termies in the face with his frag cannon and my opponent rolled all ones which was then lead by my Furioso libi Exploding a land raider its just gets worse for my opponent after that lol

My one space marine with a rocket launcher surviving 10 consecutive attacks by 2 land raider redeemers.

My one scout sargeant surviving shooting and cc from a 20 man gaurdian squad (and yes he killed a few before he finally died lol)

when my Archon wich i named Abhus Rekinarth (Hence my name on here)
was fighting a Dark Angel Space Marine Commander(or whatever it is called)
with a roll of 4 sixes (in my opinion tearing him open with his sword(forgot the name of the sword))

BT Marshal annihilating 30 Necron warriors,3 destroyers and a deathmark before biting the dust

Battle Brother Nexis (Librarian with Terminator Armor and Storm Shield) Fighting a Power fist equipped Sky claw, a Lone with with Frost blade and Storm Shield, and a Wolf Lord on a Thunderwolf, with Frost blade and Storm Shield.

He was by himself, locked endlessly in combat with the three of them until the game ended! He tried to kill that wolf lord, but could not get one wound past the Storm Shield. Luckily neither could any of the opponents.

It was a multi combat but that was all that was left after turn 3, and it was still going at the bottom of turn 5 when the game ended.

This happened to me in a 3 man free for all match against Space Marines and tyranids, the Space Marines put scouts in reserve, turn 3 I march my IG forward with Leman Russ' giving fail support alongside some Manticores that are actually killing stuff, anyhow the scouts arrive, and kill 2 hellhounds, 3 leman russ', and 2 manticores. Then the nid player runs some genestealers up and slaughter my guardsmen, I was livid, but I know that Space marine player was having a hoot

My friend asked.me to post this. He ays IG designed to be PDF. They ended a game with 6, yes, 6! Men remaining.

My unit of three Obliterators scored a hit on their deep strike dice. They proceeded to shoot apart a Hammerhead and a Devilfish with the multimeltas, Powerfisted a Fire Warrior squad to death, and flamered a kroot squad into nothingness. I think they passed something in the region of 25 armour saves before any of them lost a single wound. Even plasma fire couldn't touch them, they passed all of their invulns.

However, this was the same game that my Daemon Prince lost 3 of his 4 wounds in one round of shooting from Ork sluggas. He rolled three 2's on his armour saves. He them proceeded to Lash another Fire Warrior squad off the top of a building, and half of them died from the fall.

In another game, my Lightning Claw BT Marshal and command squad was charged by Genestealers. It was bloody and brutal, and the Marshal got knocked down to 1 wound after around 3 rounds of combat. It looks like he was going to lose combat, then he proceeded to wipe out the remaining 5 Genestealers BY HIMSELF, passing all of his saves, as if he simply refused to be beaten by these nameless, unpainted abominations. He survived the game, as did the Apothecary and one other marine in his Command Squad.

Every time my Deathstrike fires (usually turn 4 or 5).

Currently, it was when I wounded a Dredknights with a single boltgun.

I took Bjorn not for the fire power but for its special abilities which unfortunately for me it hardly ever happens.

I was playing against a Vulkan Army. Since it was an objective type of a game I decided to just run that dread right towards the God hammer that carried Vulkan and his Hammernators . Mind you this is directly at the majority of my opponent's army as I am trying to get the Dread killed so it can become another objective counter so I can claim it and try to win or make it more difficult for my opponent to win.

This does not happen. Not only he survived without being taking damage, when the Vulcan and his hammerator squad got into assault, Bjorn killed Vulkan, did not get damaged by the hammerators. They rolled 11 on their leadership for morale and then rolled a 1 on initiative. The Dread caught them in a sweeping advance and 4, 1's were for their armor saves from their ATKNF. Bjorn consolidated and on his turn moved and got into assault on the God hammer, destroying that as well. My opponent (and myself) could not believe that almost 1/3 of his points were gone in 1 1/2 turns.

A Vindicator blew off its TL-LC as it was approaching the tank( and an (Objective counter) and on the next turn assaulted that as well destroying it in the process.

Mind you I was also taking a beating from the dice rolls as well. Example I lost 3, un-squaded land speeders to separate bolter fire attacks in that game.

Bjorn was a freaking beast for me that day because the rest of my army had the curse of rolling a majority of 2's for shooting and 1's for getting my Bolter Backs immobilized. I used the rest of my army to tar pit my opponent models via assault and was able to hold and/or contest objectives. I even had to use my long fangs and get them into assault because on that game they could not hit the broadside of a barn. At least in assault I could hold my own.

So here I was with one damaged dread fighting against my opponents key elements of his army.

I could still lose this game as my opponent was not going down without a fight and it did not help that the rest of my army was firing like Grots either.

Bjorn contested that objective counter for 4 turns (7 turn game) as my opponent threw his last effective squad into the Dread which almost won the game for him as his dice got hot at the right time.


But this was Bjorn Fell Hand and he was not going to be denied!

At it the end of turn 7, though armless, the dread contested the objective and thus winning the game for me. Not the way I planned it and the dice gods were incredibly fickle to the both of us playing

But in the end it came down to one model and that was...

Sounds like Bjorn wasd having a "Wolf Time" moment while the dogs lay dying.

My epic moments? I have at one point or another turnt every SM special character into a spawn!

Although in one game of Apoc, I played my combined Chaos Space Marine and Chaos Daemons army, and made sure to deploy on the flank of a IG infantry based army.

4 turns and 23 spawns later I had wrecked havock on the Imperial lines.

Admittedly with the Witch Hunters Codex, and as such, copious use of Divine Guidance or other Faith powers...

A Canoness and her Celestian bodyguard, up against a Space Marine commander and a Tactical Squad.

The Sisters and the Marines slowly whittle each other down, until only the Canoness and Celestian Superior remain against the survivors of the Tactical Squad and their commander. Celestian Superior, during the fighting, was killed, came back thanks to bionics, killed a Marine or two, as did the Canoness, was killed again, came back again thanks to bionics, and she and the Canoness finished off the remaining Marines AND their commander.

Sorry for the lack of specifics, it's probably been a year and a half or more since that battle happened, so the memories are a little vague. What I do remember is that a Canoness and her Celestian bodyguard went up in melee against a Space Marine Commander of some sort and a Tactical Squad, and came out on top despite heavy casualties, with the Celestian Superior's bionics saving her twice. I also remember that there were many Acts of Faith used.

Sure, it's not the greatest ever, or anywhere near even thinking about maybe being in the running, but my Sisters of Battle beating even Tactical Squads of Space Marines in melee combat was rare up until the new Sisters dex, and even then, it's usually only Celestine + a large group of Seraphim or a Battle Conclave that beats the Marines, and the former usually only works against units with a lack of choppy and small numbers.

My Space Wolves vs. my friends Eldar Footdar army. I had a pack of five Wolf Scouts (1 with Meltagun) with a Wolf Guard pack leader (Power Fist & Combi-Melta) that I kept in reserve.

When they came on I was able to place them along his board edge, right behind his three War Walkers. I popped two with the Meltas, assaulted, popped the third with a Power Fist. Next turn they charged a Wraithlord and took it down.

Watching 10 Kabalite Warriors tear through Mephiston, the Sanguinor and like 5 or 6 Sanguinary Guard in assault. It took four whole turns to do it, but it was awesome to see.

When the enemy players vortex grenade formation scattered back onto his own squads....DOH

Ole Ghazghkull Mag Urk Thraka, was stepped on by this thing...



And on the turn when he was trod upon Ghazzy called down his special Waagh, and survived the massive tread of the Reaver Titan

As the Titan's foot lifted from the 2 meter indention it left in the ground, Ghazghkull pulled himself from his Ghazghkull shaped indention, dusted off his armor and said "Oi where do ya think yer going big un..weze got unfinshied buzniss!"

Ghaz then attacked the Titian crawling up his massively armored foot and to its vital leg joint, where upon he ripped out so many vital bits the Titan crashed to the ground and exploded ( several sixes were rolled and chain reactions ensued)

And through the haze, dust and heat distortion of the fallen Titian, the Ork warlord strode forth, cast his baleful eye about and bellowed.."NEXT!"

This great moment brought a cheer from everyone playing, other than the Titan's owner that is, who was very butthurt, and pouted most profoundly

Thats the Day I decided Ghaz was da man!
