The annual poll, what is your total GW purchase amount?
That includes ebay and buys from other players as well, not limited to GW shops only.
And no, sorry shop owners don't count, customers only :3
FW Purchase are fine, but can specify they are FW and NOT GW ( i know lots of people dont consider them the same entity )

Maybe 12 or so total for 3 pots of paint. Everything else (which has been quite a bit) has come from craigslist and swap shop. Edit - Wow read this wrong. I'd say in the 200 ish range.

I did pretty good this year at not buying more until I got stuff painted - so my only actual purchases were a few paint pots. There was a Firebelly purchased on my behalf this Christmas though.

I'm torn between the first two options, as both my GW and non-GW wargaming spending fall roughly into that rather broad range.
This year, I bought 2 pots of GW paint from the LGS, for way more than they're worth (I'll pay the premium for the sake of convenience on minor purchases), so my GW total is somewhere around the $10 mark. I've also spent nearly $100 on Mantic, between Dwarf King's Hold and their holiday grab bag, about $20 more on other hobby supplies, and probably $50-75 on non-wargaming board games. Not sure if that qualifies as "plenty," especially considering the scope of the poll's options, but it's the most I've dropped on the hobby, in its broadest sense, in several years.

This year was limited to a GK codex and NDK model.
Think it cost me about $75-80 all up. Then the embargo hit and I stopped getting GW stuff.
Now it's the other companies that get my monies. I will need to get some more GW washes shortly though.

I put $750 - $1000, but then realized I hadn't spent nearly that much - should have been $300 - $500. I bought 5 Tyranid elites in Finecast - there's $200au right there. I bought about 1000 points of Vampire Counts, but that was from Wayland before the embargo, which amounted to about $150au. Added to that, Tamurkhan and the FW Wight King BSB. Surprised I didn't spend more, but then, I still haven't been playing often enough to warrant buying more.

I have mostly completed Eldar and Tyranid armies. I thought of starting a Thousand Sons force or buying some DE stuff to Craftworld-ize, but that ended up being rather cost-prohibitive so I stuck with Malifaux and Infinity instead.
Voted $0 with money spent on other companies.
On the other hand, I did get a GW-related Christmas present, but that was not spent by me and it was Forge World.
Either way, I've done my part to not really buy GW stuff, and I'm making decisions based on price more than ever. It also helps that GW's main releases of robot marines and silver marines were not of any interest to me.

I spent more on WM and Infinity than I did on GW (individually).
I've also spent more on non-GW terrain makings.

Same situation, had to cancel a WFB Fantasy army (about $400-500 of Orcs) I had planned. Nowadays just the odd pot of paint, but even those I have subbed in Vallejo where possible, on the grounds of getting more paint for less money, and also the new GW paint pot (for standard colours) is bloody awful.
But, thanks to the embargo I decided to take up Infinity, which is an absolutely cracking game and something I probably would never have otherwise tried!

About £250 so that's the $300-500 box I think?
Mostly that's the odd boxset/codex, 4 copies of WD, and two finecast samples, that has taken my fancy, plus dreadfleet (Technically the mrs bought that) plus my on going addiction to FW books.
I'm actually trying to clear my backlog of models and armies so it really wasn't that much, certainly no conscious decision not to buy GW.
I definitely spent more individually on FoW stuff, FFG and the rest of the industry (boardgames, books and random small purchases).

Too much. I spent about $500-750 if I had to guess, building the rest of my Dark Eldar army (like I said I was going to when they came out). The only non-DE thing I bought was Trazyn the Infinite, and I've avoided buying some DE models because they're in Finecast now: no more incubi, no wracks until they come out in plastic, no court models since I've yet to find any at the store I feel confident enough to buy...and no beastmasters or beasts because they're outrageously expensive (and when they inevitably go to Finecast will no doubt be even more expensive than they are).
I've spent just as much (if not more) on other games, though. I bought the introductory boxed set for Battletech and a couple of mechs from IWM, a ton of D&D 4e books (getting used copies on the cheap from the local store) and the Castle Ravenloft board game, I got a couple of used Dark Heresy books (with the Black Industries logo on them still, lol), and I just got into Warmachine, bought the rulebook and a Ret caster and jack. I spent an embarrassing amount of money on MTG also, but I got tired of trying to keep up with standard and spending what felt like $100+ every month updating my decks every time the metagame changed, so I've slowed down a lot on that.

Wow...I am about to feel sad at the money I spent on this hobby in 2011, but it is just money...
-I am in the 5000+ category, if you considering ancillary things like bags and such I am in the 10k range realistically.
So, at the start of the year I did 1500 points of Nids, then, 2000 points of termincide DA, then 2500 pnts of DOA BA, then 2500 points of purifier spam grey knights. I did a brief stint with 2000 points of tzeentch daemons, now my current one, which is all purchased, unless I decided I want more this year is about 15000pnts of death korps of krieg. So 25 chimera, 3 bombards, 6 hydras, 3 warlords titans, 9 medusas, 300+ DKOK guardsmen + weapon sets, 6 hades breaching drills, 10 death riders....and the list goes on.
So...good thing I helped pay GW salaries this year, and glad I have a job that allows me to spend like that. I am sure there is more I purchased, paints and such, but it is a ton to list on here, not to mention projects I started and ended quickly, like converted guard, or a DE force (2500 points worth) I purchased, and then unloaded quickly through trades and such.

Probably around $1500, all from before April. Which is a major drop from the usual $3000-$4000 I used to spend annually on them. So far, it's looking to drop even faster, down to probably around $150-200(vehicles be expensive) for 2012, depending on what I get to finish the BA I need for DD2. 2011 has been a bit of an epiphany year for me. I stopped buying GW product in 2010 after yet another price rise when I finally had had enough of GW reaching into my pocket and squeezing my balls every time I walked into a store, but 2011 has been the year when my wings have spread in regard to other games, namely Brushfire, Blackwater Gulch, Carnevale and Warmachine. These games have gotten my gaming interest and budget and will continue to do so.
So my answer is £0 - the only GW items purchased have been second hand from Ebay and have only been codexes.
For 2012, I aim to not buy anything at all, Ebay/second hand or otherwise - my entire hobby budget will be for other games/systems.

Part of it was waiting for the new Sistesr codex, then afterwards it was boycotting the half-assed and lame white dwarf codex we got instead of getting the full and proper codex we deserve. I estimated about 1-200 bucks, though since most of my wargame acquisistion involves buying and then trading or selling figs, my actual end of year balance of funds spent on GW is a very small fraction of that.
The Breakdown.
20% figs from the FLGS used bin or FLGS auction
20% Figs from local Friends
10% 2nd edition codicies from TMP just for the fluff
50% Used buys or trades from Dakka, TMP and Bartertown.
Almost all this stuff was RT and 2nd edition figs for an expansion to my Blood Angels that I'll get around to someday, though I did get a few vintage fantasy figs and some necromunda stuff.
I probably "spent" a few times as much in non-GW gaming.

Whole bunch of paints, a new hobby drill, two sets of new brushes, and about 8 boxes of guard and marines combined....about 150-250 I think...

About 140$, since I can't buy models that often.

Are parents now days that rich or are the children just that spoiled?
I saw parent dropped down $400+ for their son that never played warhammer.

Too much. That Necron codex was ill-timed for me.
I've bought about $600 US of product, bit I've only paid about $300 for it. (buying from GW is never a fiscally responsible decision).

Nothing new this year. I picked up a couple of old used minis on ebay but these were like 2nd ed miniatures so that shouldn't count.

I bought some undead wolves, some blood letters, a five-pack of imperial guard riflemen(the snap together) and some orcs for LOTR and that's about it. So...about 90 bucks?

About 1500 points of IG, 3500 points of marines, a bunch of FW stuff, a DE megaforce, an Imperial Sector (my 3rd!), some codexes and IA books.
I've been distracted with buying airsoft kit so the wargaming has been a bit neglected.

First half 2011, through end of June: $2100
Second half, July 1 - Dec 31: $1475
These amounts are GW purchases. I bought other stuff from other online vendors, but can't parse that money out to GW vs. non- GW.
Looking back, I started Orcs and Goblins this year, and also supplemented my Orks, finally buying many random things for fun. Things like monsters, plastic characters for fantasy, garden of morr, etc.
That 2nd half decline is due to not buying because of poor quality of finecast... won't buy any more of those. Also, looking at stuff and saying, huh, just not worth the price after the June increase.
Will be a lot less this year, I expect. None of my armies are getting any love so it will be all random purchases.
Edit: At least, according to current rumors, none of my armies are getting any love.

I vote spoiled. I've seen quite a few parents buy the starter set + one or two other kits + paints/glue all at once for their 8yo who can't possibly be capable of putting it all together or painting it OR playing the game.
That doesn't even count the kids that get dropped off at the GW babysitter's club...seriously, there's this one kid that's been in almost every day I've been there lately...(and I'm there kind of a lot...more than I should be, anyways)

I bought much, much less GW this year then in years previous. I know for sure around $550 at the warstore on GW product, but that was split among only 2 purchases: a $230 ROBB on 1/7/11 and $280 on the Necron release. Other than those, that was virtually it from gee dubs.
I spent more on other things, though which are definitely in support of my GW purchases - some vallejo paints, a new compressor, some W&N Series 7 brushes - a lot of stuff like that. I also got a bunch of Warmachine stuff (which I still have never played, and it's mostly boxed), the Battletech starter and some Ironwind minis, things like that.

Hrmm.
Few codices and army books.
Very few minis in total (DE Black Dragon, Sorceress, Hydra, Saurus Oldblood and a BA Battleforce for some Fleshtearers).
Some bits.
Still shy of the $500 mark.

non on GW in 2011. same for 2010. maybe 6th edition will lure me back, but i doubt it. the ominous GW powerhouse that was is no more. It seems now it is more of little kids with mommy's money and older players not willing to let go.

Lets see a GW Realm of Battle board, $200 + in paints, $600+ in necrons, dreadfleet, a few hundred on my other armies.... It adds up really quickly.

It would count.
It doesnt matter where, with who, or for how much. Aslong as you purchased something, received something,
that makes you part of the "demand" for GW product. Which helps sustain their value's worth ( which is especially important for
setting the price for items not 100% new )

I'm pretty sure it's £0. I can't remember the last GW thing I bought.
I cleared out a good few miniatures through Ebay though so I'm well into the minus figures. Probably to the tune of about £150.
Plastic Soldier and Privateer Press got most of my money.
