The weight distributes pretty well between my shoulders and belt, I wear it for about 11 to 13 hours per day when there's a reenactment event. and I'm slowly adding more and more weight without hindrance.

Maybe we should of named the thread "show yourself and general OT spam thread" That way it could never go OT, I was thinking about that but didn't feel like a banhammer from a street judge Still atleast it would of been upfront =o]
Woops seems like when I switched computers I deleted all my pics on the other HD.....kinda sucks... =o\
Once again : please don't attach non wargaming images to Dakka, continuing to do so will get the thread locked and your account suspended. If you wish to include such images then you need to use off site hosting.
Me on the left looking like I just saw someone I hate. Ah the good old days with my band, how I miss thee.
(This was about 2 years ago and I think we where doing either The Trooper or Enter Sandman)
Newest pic of me (about 3 weeks old)

I'm in yellow, with that grin that makes me look strange that I only seem to get when people take photos of me. Yesterday having a demo game of Warmachine. PS, despite how I young look in the photo I really am 19.

Is that your mom's shirt?
Lol no, I actually like that shirt and cardigan combo

You know what I think? I think you really are Kristen Stewart, your just posting her pics to make us think your not her. Seriously, what are the odds that a famous celebrity were to post on a forum for toy soldiers? I'm on to you, don't think I'm not......
/Tinfoil Hat.
P.S. Kirsten, please call 867-5309 so you and I can hook up. Just please redye your hair blonde. It's much more flattering than the brown they had you switch to for Twilight. And this is coming from someone who LOVES them some brunettes.

Maybe she just looks like her, and for sake of ease, posts her pics? Cmon Mel, if thats the truth, you CAN post a pic, shes a pretty good looking woman. Terrible actress, but nice to look at
I'll post a pic or two of myself in the morning, unless I can find one from a while back. I'm far too tired and naked to take a flattering picture of any part of myself from the waist up, for now.
This is back from September. Yes, that's a full-sized M60, I'm pretty massive for a 17 year old. I don't know how I was looking down the sights in that pic (I remember I was though).

The last Show Yourself! was locked for a variety of wierd and wonderful reasons, a lot of which was to do with page upon page of innuendo (yes, yes, in-your-endo-o etc. etc.) and sexual devieancy; we haven't reached that stage here yet
In any case, i'll get a photo up as soon as I actually get a recent photo taken...

Nah, my hair's far darker and my eyes are more blue and less green in most lights, although they are green in yellow light. I'm also probably far more pale, it's hard to tell given the lighting of that image I think.
Though honestly those three features (brown hair, green eyes, pale skin) are probably obvious given that's the same three features I've had for all my avatars except my most recent one, which is aHomestuck reference which only serves to prove that I'm a horrendous nerd. But they're also not what I'd call personally identifiable information, and I'm sure as hell not posting a picture, then someone might recognize me and bother me IRL, which is the last thing I want... Closest I would get is posting an image of my new kitten.
Course, one could say I am probably more like this avatar given that she comes from a race known as "trolls"

That sounds entirely correct, Kirsten......
Ok seriously, anyone have a link off hand as to how to make a Newspaper Hat? I need to make a TInfoil one.....
If I was her, I'd have money and not have to put up with college. I could stay home and play games all day instead of having to bust my brains over synthesis

Sweet, thanks
Going to have to wait until thursday to pick up the Tinfoil, but then I shalt have me a hat!
Honestly this is par for the course in OT, Well it was back in the day when we had dating 'advice' threads and we learned certain things about immature people and shpadionking...
Also, I don't believe I spelled shpadoinking right. I think only Mel can... as im pretty sure she invented it...

I don't spend too much time perusing these threads, but I have just rocked up to say how much better it makes me feel to know that I am still the most essence man in off topic after gazing upon the mugs of you, my fellow wargamers.
Also, props go out to the beardies, the renaissance fair goers and those in Spiderman shirts. I am a fan of all three.
Oh and guns obviously, but with you lot I never know if they are air soft or the good ones that put big holes in people.
That's just payback. You'll learn about that really soon, young padawan. Your going to get yelled at for things you'll have no idea you even did, and don't even get me started on the baaaaad things.

Wait a sec! I'd rather get dating advice from fething Avatar than you! Go away!
According to UD, it has many meanings, of which I recognise only 2; 1 because i'm a gamer, and 1 because i'm a man, and men are usually interested in this subject (sometimes a little too enthusiasticly)

Yeppers, best thing I found to do is go " yes dear, I know dear, yes it's all my fault" just remember acceptance is the key to life. Just accept the fact that you have no bloody clue what she is talking, you will never know what she is nattering on about and that no matter what ITS ALWAYS ALL YOUR FAULT and things should be fine =o]

Please be careful when posting your pictures, remember that we try for around a PG 13 rating and there are, alas, certain things that aren't really suitable for here. What you do for personal recreation is entirely your business and best left that way. Thanks.
... Gotta admit I was worried about the " sitting on my now girlfriend" label for a small eternity before I clicked, but seems my heart attack is excitement for a future day.
Monster Rain wrote:"Turtling" has another meaning that makes these last few posts hilarious beyond description.
I know...it's probably where I got the word. Although what we are talking about is actually turtle heading, but when you're in the middle of a ruck or a run and it starts, turtleing is all that gets out. We also used to call it a hamster escape.

It's 11 o' Clock in the morning. You have kids. How are you not fully awake!?
Also, the bottom photo is in a pose most commonly done by teenage girls. Sorry I had to admit it.

Kids are off at school, and I had the day off...so I slept in.
...And I'll have you know that I am a teenaged girl...just a rather unatractive one.
I'll try to oblige you Corpses, but after seeing your duck face a few pages back I believe you've topped me in any that area.

...Heh, that could be because I've been much more involved in music in my journey through this fun filled game of life then I have been with tiny plastic men...or it might just be that somewhere in the dark and cobweb covered thing that passes for my brain I have yet to figure out that I didn't "make it" as a musician.

Its easy to update it. Just take a new pic. I mean I am way more different than I was before. I am interested in what mine is. For nomination that is O.o

Well, I know it would be easy to update. I just wasn't sure if it would be a "requirement" so to speak.
As for your nomination, I don't know?
Seriously, I could just pop off something random, but that wouldn't be fair.
I don't know you well enough to know what to nominate you for. I could say

Hi! Cool thread, nice to see the motley crew of Dakka. Here's me with my band, I'm the beardy middle one.
and here's me hunting Cthulhu (hunting, but never finding. NO-ONE finds cthulhu, he finds you). I did this for a recent "Digital makeover" class for school - fake pipe, fake hat, scar, ocean, tentacle, rigging etc etc.
