Once, and it was a lot less cool than what I expected, so I just gave up. I think the main issue is:
a) Balance - not SoB vs GK issues - even worse!
b) Combat is too complicated, and it feels more at home with an RPG than a wargame

Ours are hunters/huntresses. Well, what can you expect? There's a fething empty lot that stretches for at least a square kilometer behind the house; it's a field rat buffet for the cats. Plus grandfather's love for trees means fine dining, assuming they can catch the birds (which they can and do).

We did get some useful data though. Apparently, the bio-weapon had the additional side-effect of rendering the survivors completely dependent and submissive. Though I personally question this result; as I recall, the 51st was ordered to 'cull' another regiment after that regiment took advantage of the survivors of the same bio-weapon was used on an Eldar warhost. Bad business that; killing fellow Guardsmen is never easy, even if they became greedy and honorless scum.

As I recall, the 51st Mobile Battalion sealed the Korvax 13th along with three other regiments inside Hive City Torax during the Laxar Bio-Weapons Incident by blowing up the viaducts into the Hive Spire to maintain containment.

The Commissariat refers to the official command structure of the Commissars, which includes your regiment's own, my fleet's Commissars, and the Commissar of the 51st Mobile Battalion (who are deep behind enemy lines...maybe I'll write a fanfic about them, maybe I won't, so meh).
