I like Vic's miniatures, but I will say the not-Chimaera is a big miss for me. As mentioned by some others above, it's actually too similar to warrant that big of a price tag. Personal opinion, but that's a definite pass.
Lone Cat wrote: Is this ML based on PIAT or Panzerfaust or RPG?
It looks to me to be mostly based on a panzerfaust 150 or 250 (the final models) with a bit of moderness thrown into the launcher. A panzerfaust 500 perhaps?
I would love a PIAT though- as far as I know, nobody makes a PIAT-style weapon for 28mm conversions. I'd probably field it as a meltagun for IG though, PIATs did not have a good range.
PIAT does have quite an unusual projectile movement patterns. not sure if it is a spring loaded AT weapon and how does it works?
It's a shaped charge fired off a big spring. Because of how the charge works it doesn't really matter how fast it goes. Possibly the simplest launching mechanism after the atlatl.
Over this past weekend at Origins Game Fair, the Reaper Miniatures booth not only had the Sledgehammer from their previous Kickstarter, they also had the majority of the Victoria Miniatures line in retail packaging. I ended up picking up the Taurox suspension conversion, but most of the regiments and conversion packs were available.
One of the workers indicated that they were getting spooled up to sell through Reaper's online store, and the prices at the con mostly seemed slightly lower than the normal pricing for US customers. Overall, this seems like a great thing for those of us in the US.

Pardon me for engaging in a spot of rumour control, people, but I think some clarity might be in order:
In spite of what anyone may have heard, Reaper Miniatures does not currently have an arrangement to offer Victoria Miniatures' products through any of their retail outlets. The Victoria Miniatures stock that Reaper were selling was some of our leftover stock from U.S. convention appearances.
(The Sledgehammer is a joint production between Victoria Miniatures and Reaper, and is thus an exception.)
Reaper and Victoria Miniatures have a long and mutually beneficial business relationship, but there are no current plans for that relationship to extend to selling one another's miniatures. We have discussed such possibilities with Reaper, but there are no plans in place at this time. I suspect the Reaper employee Zefig spoke to may have misinterpreted the results of those discussions, but I won't go putting words in anyone's mouth. Mistakes happen!
Thought I'd share with you a WIP shot of this chap that Victoria Miniatures will have in production in a few months from now. But—! He is a hero without a name, and Victoria is looking to the gaming community to rectify that.
Greenstuff manipulation by Victoria, bionic limb and blade by Jake Schneider.

Colonel Caius Mustard. As in the case of: the bodies of multiple heretics were found in the broom closet, slashed to bits and full of pellets: It was Colonel Mustard in the study with the shotgun and combat blade.
In all seriousness I think maybe a Major or Staff /Gunnery/Master/Colour Sergeant (looks a bit too grizzled for a newly commissioned lieutenant unless he was a veteran when he brought it)
Perhaps:
Major Auralian 'Fennec' Timmount, a grizzled battalion commander; famous for promoting greater levels of initiative and tactical thinking among his troops, and his skillful use of forceful reconnaissance with mixed heavy and light forces; has more than a few years and wounds on him. There is more than a few white hairs in this old war hound's coat and he's starting to feel those old injuries again, especially on cold mornings... But that is burnt away by the heat of battle which he throws himself into with a young man's enthusiasm, because who wants to live forever anyway?
He is often seen departing his command vehicle to storm enemy positions alongside his troops.

Awesome looking IFV, I like the turret options as the cast valentine style sporting the (dragon multi-laser?) is more like the Matilda Boss and the crusader (bolter) style looks like it will go well with the Fury to keep a consistent theme.
If you were ever to make somthing comparable to say a Macharus or baneblade, would you consider Churchillian rounded track guards? That would look mint.
Haven't been keeping up hence the post some pages late.

Happy Hobbying, V
Yup... In fact i think this offer has already started! I made an order there about 2 weeks ago in excess of £100 and recieved 2 free female artillery officers... They kept appearing in my basket at the checkout (for zero £££) and i wasn't gonna argue...

Glad you got the Arty Officers, Viking! But just to clarify: The BFG Artillery Officer is not the first Miniature of the Month. We were 'live testing' the Miniature of the Month in the online store when you placed your order, and thus, you scored a couple of Officers! Nice work!
Each month, Victoria Miniatures will release a brand new miniature as a part of this deal. First cab off the rank is actually two miniatures — The Svargan Missile Launcher Team:
Remember, you must place your order during the month of August to qualify for your free Miniature of the Month.
Will the free minis be released as a regularly available item, posibly at a later date, or are they going to be limited editions? Or is it posibly going to be a mix with ones like the missile team being a regular item and something like a special character being limited?

The plan at this stage is to release each Mini of the Month as a part of the regular range, but the exact timing is undetermined. You could see it available to purchase in the following month, or it might be much further into the future. Supply and demand will probably define the timing.

Sounds good! I have to plan way in advance and I’d hate to miss out on something basic like a missile team just because I couldn’t afford it this month.

Awesome, well i certainly don't mind being a guinea pig in this instance so thank you very much! The female officers are lovely sculpts i must add, i shall keep one as she is of course and maybe convert the second into a psyker or something
Greetings once more, everyone. Here's a couple of things we're doing at Victoria Miniatures you might not have known about...
MATILDA BOSS TURRET - NOW AVAILABLE SEPARATELY
We now offer the turret and weapons from the Matilda 'Boss' tank as a stand-alone item. This allows you to switch your Matilda between 'Boss' and 'Fury' versions, or, the turret is compatible with another, more common tank often seen on 40K battlefields.
And now for something a little different; Victoria's let me play with some torsos, legs, and other parts to see what variations of troops we can come up with. Here's my first endeavour — the Kintyre III 27th Imperial Regiment of Foot.
They combine Victorian Pith Helmet Heads, Universal Arms, Pouches and Backpacks with Trenchcoat Torsos and Kilted Legs. (One of these laddies has a Winter Torso, as part of this experiment.) There's also one figure sporting a Balmoral Cap Head, and he looks braw!
They're led by a Law Chieftain (Captain) who combines a Ranger Torso with a pair of arms from the Sword and Las pistol Arms set. I chose the Svargan Rifle purely because I really like the look and 'heft' of this longarm.
So — Now comes the question — would YOU like to see the Kintyre 27th added to the range? Maybe as a limited edition Squad set?
I have received quite a few emails from some of you, advocating the virtues of Scottish-themed figures, so now's the time to let your opinions be known. What do we think?

Those look great! It has been a while, but seems to fit here. I would really love some Glengarry hats.
Anyone know if Victoria's female models would pass as non-heroic? By heroic I mean large arms, legs and heads such as found in GW cadians whereas non-heroic are realistically proportioned. The male arms and legs look slightly smaller than GW cadians but the female one look much smaller. Can anyone make a judgement about if they could pass as non-heroic? I am specifically interested in using the female arms, legs and heads alongside (or potentially even on) Prodos AVP colonial marines. Any comparison pictures would be greatly appreciated!
Victoria Miniatures' Black Friday / Cyber Monday deals are now live!
Also, you can now choose ANY past or current Miniature of the Month as your free miniature per US$50.00 spent.
By the way, you can now choose to have your order sent via EMS express, (4-5 days to anywhere in the world) for US$30.00. Potentially useful as we plunge towards Christmas!
Thank you to everyone who's bought figures and accessories from Victoria Miniatures. Because of you, I get to eat.
Congratulations for making it through another year. Thank you so much for supporting Victoria Miniatures during 2018. Its been a big one, and we are looking to an even bigger 2019.
I am thrilled to announce that we will be continuing with our free Miniature of the Month collection, kicking off with a preview of our January Miniature, Commissar Annaka Sage, sculpted by Patrick Keith.
Watch out for upcoming projects, including new regiments, characters, a new vehicle and perhaps even some cavalry
Come say hello to us in our very own booth at Adepticon 2019 too!
That's not a female Commissar! Her boobs aren't hanging out of a low-cut corset, she's not leering suggestively and/or licking her lips, nor is she posed like a 90's Liefeld comic book cover with her arse shoved out at a 90 degree angle to her spine.

Lovely model, but if you look closely, she seems to be blushing
"I-I-I'm sorry senpai, but YOU HAVE BEEN FOUND WANTING IN THE EYES OF THE EMPEROR!"

Amateur effort, 0/10.
It's like the sculpter had never seen a woman before!
Saw this on the site. Good to see they're back (And this time in resin )and should look awesome mixed with the slouch hats for Aussie themed guard (or burma campaign British empire (or even south african if you wanted to green stuff the hat bands and paint them as fur) theme for that matter):
Spoiler:
African(I think could be from Caribbean or anywhere) soldiers serving in Burma I think.
South Africans, part of Monty's army pursuing the crippled Afrika Korp into Tunisia
Been hearing a lot of people on the forum referring to the slouch hats as them as ANZAC themed guard. Which got me thinking about our mates across the ditch, any chance we'll be seeing the likes of these guys?
And wasn't I just looking at their site to make Imperial Navy duelists (count as Crusaders).
So definitely picking this up, I shall give her a peg leg as well and name her Lt Commander Oliva Jade, whose parents got her a commission by bribing a fencing coach to testify she was a champion. Alas she actually is not very good at fencing as her eye, hook and peg leg can attest.
Now for something special,
For some time I have been working with the talented Jake Schneider to create a new vehicle for Victoria Miniatures. I am thrilled to show the first pics of the 'Kangaroo APC'. This all resin model will be available from Victoria Miniatures in mid 2019.
The model you see here is painted by the amazing James Wappel. If you want a closer look, he will be posting a full painting tutorial on his Blog this week.
I will also have this model on display at the Victoria Miniatures Booth at Adepticon 2019, with a huge collection of painted squads.
Best, V
More tanks is always good news but the effect of the angles makes it look a bit long necked if you get what I mean. The turret would look better flush against the body without the

effect.

I have a few of the figures, and they are along the same line as Forgeworld.
Slightly smaller, but not enough to matter. The females look like females alongside the Cadians, and the males look excellent alongside the ranges of both Vic's and GW's. Alongside a Rogue trader guy, they are bigger, alongside a Cadian, they are slightly smaller. (ON PAR with 2d edition metals, but not as robust.)

That’s ‘cause it’s not a tank but a turreted APC; the turret has to ride high to accommodate the transport compartment.
Think of it as a weight loss program for your wallet?
Need to fatten it up first I guess, these will look great with Vic's Matilda tank. I imagine a similar price point too. I guess middle would mean July, so as long as no new awsome kits come out before then I should be able to triple down on the Roos.
Automatically Appended Next Post: As far as the <> turret shape it's very Cruiser tankesque. I haven't bothered to see if any other country had a similar design but it just screams British Empire to me. I imagine it will have a good range of weapon options. I imagine we will see more of the options in the build blog.
Greetings,
I'm thrilled to announce the 2019 Adepticon Limited Edition Miniature; Svargan Aerospace Pilot Kat Lidyanova. Thanks to the Adepticon organizers, I am able to offer Victoria Miniatures online customers the opportunity to purchase this Limited Edition miniature
Only 200 resin casts exist, 100 for Adepticon attendees and, 100 for Victoria Miniatures online customers. The sale will go live on Saturday April 13 at 8pm (UTC). That translates to the following times. (check your time zone if in doubt.)

London: Saturday, 13 April 2018 at 9:00:00 pm (BST)
Sydney: Sunday, 14 April 2018 at 6:00:00 am (AEST)
She is likely to sell quickly, so get in early. Another notification email will be sent to subscribers of this list when the sale begins.
Cheers, V
Good thing it's my day off then, may have to get one, though I am worried she may look stubby next to the two pilots from Bombshell Games.
Can't say I care for Victoria Lamb's models, but that female commissar by Patrick Keith is quite good; I much prefer it to the one GW released this year.
Preview. April Free Mini of the Month. (no, its not a joke) Roli Runeseeker, scuplted by Jason Wiebe.
A few will be available at #Adepticon2019 and general release online early April.

Hard to believe we are creeping up on mid 2019. Looking forward to news at some point.
If Vic or Jake are taking requests there is a new hover tank that needs a "Slammed" nose downgrade.
how does the guard get suicide bombers? i mean how "ill" do you have to be as a prisoner to get this job done? i mean your average penal legion fighter i get... but since there is no business in blasting yourself off of the face of a planet afterwards...er...hmmm....

Gotta admit suicide bomber caught me unawares, I can see the guard using this quite a bit. Strapping a bomb to yourself can be a great force multiplier in the absence of sufficient ordinance...
On the subject of ordinance that's a nice heavy mortar, which sorta puts a frag in in the works because I just got a battery of 3 Victoria's heavy trench mortars for that role(I'ma make some Griffons). Well as I think Napoleon said: an army can never have too many guns...

The Emperor Protects
Or
You can have a lasting and maybe singe your opponent before you are taken as a hostage and tortured for eternity, or you can wear this vest and take a few with you and have no pain .

A certain proportion of the bombs are duds; if your bomb's a dud, then lucky you, you're pardoned!
One of the very first games of Rogue Trader I played (maybe THE first) was an Ork vs. Imperial guard battle put on by a group in Omaha, around 1989.
I remember some human bombs heading to the Ork line and being shot down; an Imperial Ogryn ran up and tossed one of the bodies into to the Orks the next turn, and somehow it got set off. That was such a fun game and a great intro into 40K. I can't recall if there was a GM or if the players just got along well enough to work out a narrative game like that.
I like that model quite a bit - if I do a penal legion, he's in. I like the random salvation. On the other hand, yeah, hits home a bit more than it did 20 years ago, though they've been around since explosives first appeared.
That''s awesome Dr Mathias
Human bomb to human handgrenade.
And yeah, if I had to fight the dark eldar, or slaaneshi cultists! better a blaze of glory than risk capture!
'I the perspective of the universe I can see them being commonly employed even outside of penal units. Then again I can see the guard using nerve agents and other really nasty stuff to achieve victory. And of course kill the hated traitor, mutant and xeno.
The only pickle I have with 40k is the Imperium does seem so zealous and that using such extreme means wouldn't even be considered before being employed.
You could probably draft volunteers.
Looking forward to adding some of these to the armor pile. Like the driver hatch. Always thought they should have updated the Chimera drivers front view hatch when they redid the kit.
https://i.imgur.com/F01mjFN.jpg You can get the smart gun and body from madrobot miniatures to make your Vasquez from Aliens; the female Marbo stand in is superb, will pick her up even though I have 4 Marbos already.
Can I just say, while girl!Marbo is great and I appreciate the recursive nature of a parody of a parody, I do also want to know why no-one has done a not-Sarah Connor yet?
New sisters are coming, I haven't yet painted my Victoria IG units, but this new free mini is making is hard to resist. I mean, I haven't got any Svargan yet. And a mixed-gender 10 guard strong Svargan unit is just expensive enough to get me a free miniature... Damnit! Why am I collecting an IG army of only infantry without special weapons and tons of characters, no tanks? It look like the most (money) expensive, most time-consuming to paint, most time-consuming to play, and certainly not the most efficient army possible!
But at least I'll get cool models, even if I never actually play them.
Black Friday / Cyber Monday is only one day away! This year we offer our biggest sale yet. 10% off everything store wide, plus double free Miniatures of the Month. That's right, for every $50 you spend, you get to choose not just one, but two free Miniatures of the Month. The sale will go for all four days, starting 11pm Thursday 28th and finishing Midnight Monday 2nd PDT. Only while stocks last.
An email will be sent out when the sale goes live.
Free Shipping. Don't forget that Victoria Miniatures offers Free Shipping Worldwide, on any order over $100 USD.
I tried ordering a bunch of stuff, but I only get 1 free mini for every 50$ and I'm not sure I got the discount. Is the promotion already active?
(I'm buying some Mini of the month to unlock more Mini of the month for free lol)
Ordered me some tank turrets to fuel my unquenchable appetite for armour conversion, some torsos etc, and got a few miniatures of the month, at this point I'm getting quite imaginative for miniature of the month conversions as you may guess.
I can also just recommend Victoria Miniatures. I got two orders over the last year and currently I'm working on some female arcadians. The quality is just great and the price very reasonable. I will definitly get the Kangaroo somewhere in the future.
Most of you will be aware of the tragic bush fire crisis ongoing in Australia. I thank those of you who have checked in to see if we are ok at Victoria Miniatures. We are located in the southern metropolitan suburbs of Adelaide, so aside from smoke, we are not directly affected.
However, my home state of South Australia has been impacted. At the time of writing, the worst of it is on Kangaroo Island. In addition to the tragic loss of homes and human life, the devastation of pristine wilderness, unique native animals, farm and livestock is utterly overwhelming.
Therefore, I am seeking to do what I can to raise funds for the South Australian RSPCA (Royal Society for the Protection of Animals).
For every Kangaroo APC kit sold during January, Victoria Miniatures, in conjunction with our resin caster's at Trench Worx will donate $50.00 USD (around $73.00 AUD) to the RSPCA.
Each Kangaroo APC sold during this period will also include a free pre-release Hedgerow Cutter. A kangaroo purchase will also qualify for a free miniature of the month of your choice.
OMG! I could not believe it when I checked our sales this morning. At the time or writing, we have sold 86 Bushfire Kangaroo APC’s. In less than 24 hours, you amazing people have raised an incredible $4,300 USD (over $6000 AUD).
I am absolutely blown away with the generosity and good will of the wonderful Miniature Hobby community. I can only say ‘Thank you, thank you, thank you’ with all my heart, to everyone who has purchased, donated, shared or told their friends about our ‘little’ fundraiser.
I started this yesterday with 150 Kangaroo APC’s on hand, thinking it would be more than enough to easily get us through to the end of the month. I am delighted to have been completely wrong.
Looking at how to keep going forward with this, I have just had a talk with our brilliant casting experts at Trench Worx in Utah. Creating hand cast resin kits is a time-consuming process. Yet, these lovely folks, have committed to doing everything they can to keep the fundraiser going. I can’t thank our US friends enough, for the passion, skills, extra time and resources they are happily contributing. It would not be possible without them.
So, please everyone, keep sharing, keep supporting. We are deeply moved by what you have achieved. We also are a little overwhelmed, but bear with us, we are doing all we can to get orders shipped and inquiries answered asap.
I will look at getting the initial collected funds transferred to the RSPCA early next week. I will keep everyone informed as we go.
Well that definitely put me over the line for ordering - not sure what I'll do with a tank, but it looks awesome, and I can fill out the rest of the order with the bits I've had my eye on.
I had my eye on one of those and ordered it ( and as usual a lot of other stuff *cough*).
So far I ordered twice from Victorias and was really satisfied with their great work. Now all I have to do is finish my unpainted stuff before it arrives... So take your time ;-)

I wouldn't count on it. I've had orders arrive in the UK with five days before.
FYI, for US based buyers, their resin caster is based in Utah, so I received my order in a matter of days. I ordered 2 of the Kangaroo APCs which gets you free shipping, and 2 free models...so definitely a win/win for everyone.
It looks like they've raised more than $15,000.00 USD for the bushfire fundraiser, which is amazing. They're accepting orders through the end of January, so if you can pitch in, it definitely helps.
BTW, it was my first time ordering Victoria Miniatures, and the casts are great with sharp details and no noticeable mistakes.
1. Arcadian Heavy Infantry. Arcadian men and women with leg armor and helmets with goggles. ( stand in for Stormtroopers/Kasrkin/Scions).
2. Non AK-47 style lasguns/auto rifles. I like the Svargan rifles, but I'd love some Arcadian M4's, or FN FAL etc.
3. Paratroopers! I know the Elysians are probably going away at the end of the year, but some Para type troops would still be cool.
Did I mention Arcadian Heavy Infantry??????
Just a warning, I'll probably repost this wish list multiple times!

Victoria does sell crotch and thigh armour, white metal goggles and gasmasks(currently not in stock ), so any regiment can be made pretty grenadiery/stormtroopery, I'll post one blue-tacked together and post a photo.
More variety of guns, yeah who wouldn't want that? More to play with and modify.
I'd like to see smocks, for ww2 German/British paras, big bulgy pockets really would be cool, and I guess a more suitable para helmet/beret would also help to cover the OOP britsh para/SAS style stormies of old, I mean it would be in line with her Victorians,Tannenburg Fusilieers, Svargans and Arcadians. I can also see them going very well alongside the VanDieman's world Guard (also I could use the berets on my tankers!)
Personally What I'd like to see is:
1. Female version of the heavy weapons team arms, I may have said this already but those arms are very, very versatile, not having that ease of conversion for the female soldiers makes the variety limited. Also many of those arms can be used on infantry soldiers/officers/tank crew/artillery crew to add some more variety.

Pauldrons are from anvil industry, but they you can imagine Victoria's (they are about the same size)
The Victoria Miniatures Bushfire Fundraiser has officially finished. For every Kangaroo APC we sold during Jan 2020, We donated $50 USD to the RSPCA South Australia. I am thrilled to report, we sold exactly 400 units. Together with a couple of private donations that makes an incredible total of:
$20,050 USD ($29,112 AUD) raised. (Based on the average exchange rate for January of 0.687 AUD)
So far, $25,000 AUD has been transferred to the RSPCA SA, the remaining $4,112 AUD will be transferred Monday. You can visit their Facebook Page to see some of the the Bushfire Recovery work they are doing.
I can never express my immense gratitude to the Hobby Community for this amazing achievement. When I started this project, I never imagined how successful it would be. I have been deeply moved by the immense outpouring of support from you all. What you have achieved will really make a difference.
Together with our USA friends at Trenchworx, we are continuing to work to fulfill Kangaroo APC orders, as quickly as possible. Please bear with us. We always make sure our customers get their miniatures.

Actually kinda doing the same thing.
Also please remove that quote from me from your sig. Thanks.
Desert Scorpions Long Range Group appears among the Regiments available.
Nothing really new available yet, but the portrait is there so you'll know what to expect.
Includes a shemagh +goggles head, flowing tunic style uniform and leg wrappes.
There's getting to be quite the selection available. And well, you can always request to mix and match bits to make your own feel.
Greetings. As things are gearing up for AdeptiCon I am thrilled to reveal this years Limited Edition AdeptiCon Mini, Inquisitor Sister Joan. Sculpted by Patrick Keith.
As usual 200 resins will be made, 100 for the show and 100 for Vic Mini online customers. I'll post release date details soon.
I'm impressed, they look really good. When the females und HWS arrive I will definitly order some.
It's funny because I recently thought I will leave my Tallarn detachment a batallion due to lack of variance of my dudes. Guess they will become a brigade after all... Damn I need a bigger vitrine...
@ Jadenim: regiments are recruited from a whole planet, no wonder the squads look a bit diverse. At least that's always my explanation for mixing different models and conversions
@Jadenim+Pyroarchi Alternatively gear could be replaced as required and through access to multiple manufacturing plants during a campaign. Therefore making a larger variation of kit that is all essentially the same.
Automatically Appended Next Post: Alternatively, and this is my favorite idea so far: You're basically the early Russian Federation in space and your idea of uniform is wide very widely encompassing.
Vic mentioned on Facebook that she needs to talk to the Adepticon guys about what will happen to the LE miniature. It may just get held back for next year.
Here's hoping for an online sale instead, because I wants it, precious.
Hi Folks,
Thanks to the AdeptiCon organizers, I am able to offer Victoria Miniatures online customers the opportunity to purchase this Limited Edition Collectors miniature, Inquisitor Sister Joan. Sculpted by Patrick Keith.
Only 200 resin casts exist. This year, due to the extraordinary circumstances of AdeptiCon being cancelled, all 200 will be available exclusively from Victoria Miniatures online store.
The sale will go live at the following times:
Chicago: Friday March 27 at 4.00 pm (CDT)
London: Friday March 27 at 9.00 pm (GMT)
Sydney: Saturday March 28 at 8.00 am (AEST)
She is likely to sell quickly, so get in early. Another notification email will be sent to subscribers of this list when the sale begins.
Take care everyone,
V
she posted on facebook last night that adepticon were allowing her to sell the LE mini for this year (200 I think) so it may be that (the image with it was faulty so I didn't see what it was)
I would like to get one of the 2020 Inquisitors when they go on sale in an hour and a half but I will still get a few other minis that I have been coveting even if I can't get the inquisitor.
Not sure if that Inquisitor Judge from 2016 is a mistake but I don't really want him anyway.
Bummer, that's a splendid miniature. As always she'll show up on eBay so there's still hope...
If you're of the patient sort, you may want to wait until Adepticon 2021, when the mini will in all likeliness see it's general freebie release. I know waiting for a year is not ideal, but it beats feeding a good for nothing scalper.
I love the Fury turrets, nice cast churchill MK 1 really screams heavy armour, waiting for the chassis to arrive(mortian), but modifications are clear to see. Built up the armour around the turret rig on fronts from 11'oclock to 4'oclock and the open loader's hatch on the front turret. All tanks will be stowaged up like the middle one.
Let's see if this one is missed / ignored as well.
Covid-19 Update. April 27th
We are still in business and shipping world-wide. We greatly appreciate the support of our customers at this difficult time.
Due to the current COVID-19 crisis, Postal services all over the world are under unprecedented pressure. Some packages arrive as normal, others take longer than expected.
For this reason, I have temporarily suspended our Express Courier option, as I cannot grantee that these packages will be delivered quickly.
However, you can still order from us with confidence. We are working hard to get our Miniatures to you, and minimise any unexpected delays.
If you have any concerns about an order you have placed don’t hesitate to contact us admin@victoriaminiatures.com. It’s also a good idea to be aware of the postal circumstances in your own region.
We are still shipping US and Canada orders from Utah US, all other orders ship from Adelaide, Australia.
Thank you for your patience.
Take care, and Hobby on.
V
Delays are sadly inevitable, as the Australian postal services have announced there's at least a two week delay on anything going out of the country. From my own experience, my parcel has been stuck in processing for three weeks now, but c'est la vie, it'll get here when it gets here.
More Desert Scorpions are made ready for casting in the meantime:

Its not just Oz. The Russians are having the same problems since their postal system closed entirely, apparently.
Speaking of postal delays, my first ever Vic order didn't arrive for 9 months! When it finally showed up, battered and bruised, the shipping date was exactly as listed. No idea where it had been or what had happened, but it had take some journey.
Every time I see more potential Guard stuff I really have to quickly close tab before I bankrupt myself again.

Scrapper's Reject Bits Bag returns April 30th.
Hi Folks,
Hope you are all doing ok. We are going to mark the end of this long month by making our super popular Scrapper's Reject Bits Bag available again.
The sale will go live at the following times:
Chicago: Thursday April 30 at 4.00 pm (CDT)
London: Thursday April 30 at 10.00 pm (GMT)
Sydney: Friday May 1 at 7.00 am (AEST)
Each bag contains over 100 Grams of resin product that didn't meet our quality standard. This could mean an air bubble, a detail that did not fill or a little mold slippage, and it goes into the bin.
The bags contain a random assortment of product, and may include weapons, war gear, artillery, guard conversion parts or even complete character miniatures. Each bag is random and unique.
As our cast-off product obviously these items are not subject to our usual quality guarantee, specifically because these are the products that didn't meet our standard in the first place.
Image shown is sample only, actual contents will vary, every bag is unique.
These likely to sell quickly, so get in early. Another notification email will be sent to subscribers of this list when the sale begins.
Take care everyone,

I'd happily pay either price for a good bag of reject bits.
I don't remember what Anvil Industries charged for their bag o' seconds last year, but that was well worth it in the end. Can only imagine that Vics bag would be the same.
Got my Scrapper pack, along with a few extra goodies I ordered alongside it... Last time around the scrap pack was predominantly weapons, with enough body parts to scrape together a few assorted models. This time around there's a lot more torsos and heads in there, a full Arcadian standard bearer, a second Sylvia Brando, and also for some reason a full squad pack of Tannenburg Fusiliers.
So well worth the money!
Sylvia was going to be added to my OldMunda Orlock gang - so now I'm thinking I can build a close combat version and a sniper version. Woo!
Finally painting my Kangaroos, now that i have modeled them an excessively sufficent amount of weapons and weapons options. Very near enough dakka. also female HW arms available separate now.
I think they're a bit on the big side, but I'll find a use for them in due time for sure, maybe as nice Primaris sized power sabres.
Overall quality of the models is amazing, feels like a massive step up from the already nice quality of my orders ages ago. Will do some minor converting on the Inquisitor in due time, pistol is a bit silly and she'll be getting a spare Sororitas power plant as well.

It is funny you should say that, I had the same intial thought of them being oversized!
Having compared them to the other hand weapons on my 40k stuff though, I think the sabres will look just right on models:

Also picked up some of the sabres at the same time, these are lovely and will be great for my Navy officers.
I'd love to see them, I've though of doing a squad of navy cadets (count as crusaders).
I'd love to see them too! So far, I've only made a squad of Ratings armed from the equipment lockers (the pic above is of the senior Rating leading the squad). I have also made some Armsmen, but I'm really not happy with how they turned out, so I'm gonna make some new ones using the Enforcer minis, which are damn near perfect base models for that. I want to have a very clear divide between the trained Armsmen and the general purpose crew members who only get weapons during boarding actions and landing parties.
I have a variety of ideas for Navy officers, but I've not actioned any of them yet.
(wonder if Vic will tell us how many whining emails she gets comlaining that it's no fair as they don't want the missile team but why can't they take 2 of the other minis instead)

The Slouch Hats x10 are our first piece that we are selling in the form of a 3D print. The 3D printing process allows us to make a product that would otherwise be too thin and fiddly if cast in resin. With super high quality printing we can bring you this product in tough resin, with very minimal sprue points, no mold lines and no cleaning required.
LOL I skimmed through that like 3 times and still didn't see that, that's just damn lazy reading.
Now that I'm finished my astro-witch I think I might get the priestess to compliment her in the merry little band of cultists I am starting.
Spoiler:
yeah I scarecrow style carved that big scar in her face, then gave her a fur cloak, becasue why not?
https://victoriaminiatures.com/collections/abhumans Super Special Offer! For August only, New release, Ogre Vereran Grog Ard'Nogg will join our Free Miniature of the Month collection. This means that if you buy the Ogre Mud Crunchers, you can add Grog for free!
I would like to repeat my earlier question: so you plan on introducing female Van Diemens World Devils and Desert Troopers?

They've been out of stock for months now. My airwing yearns to bring the fight to the skies, but they're grounded till I get oxygen masks...
I've not seen Vic or one of her employees/contactors post on here for ages so questions are probably best tried on her facebook page which they are active on https://www.facebook.com/VictoriaMiniatures/ (and report back here if you do)

I couldn't fething believe it. I only spent $100 bucks and have made purchases with Vic before. But I spent the day unlocking my credit cards and they were actuality asking me 'If they have you hostage, just cough.'

Hopefully the casting quality of these will be better, my large order of previous stuff had quite the amount of issues with mis-aligned molds, making cleaning up and assembly an utter arse of a task.

Much like with Forge World, if the mold slippage is really bad I'd ask for a replacement product. You're paying for some pretty nice bespoke sculpts, after all.
The female Desert Scorpions are looking really nice. Can't wait to see the full squad.
I'm kinda annoyed about the female Tallarn. I've already started a Praetorian army (using their Victorian Guard models) mainly because they didn't yet have female Tallarn models. NOW I have to spend more on their Tallarn/Desert Scorpions after I've already gotten my Victorian Guard army. My bank account with never recover from this.
All (semi) joking aside, I and very excited for these and they also have a special character for them
Greetings.
I'm really thrilled today to be releasing the Female Heads with Slouch Hats. Thes heads are super high resolution plastic 3D prints. They come ahead of a full 10 woman Van Diemen's World Devils squad coming in June. I am super excited about this upcoming squad, I have really worked to take it to another level.
In the meantime, enjoy these new heads.
Watch this space....
Now that is a regiment worth building...
An ANZAC Jungle fighter column coming to the relief as the Praetorians are holding out in a bastion against Nids, Chaos and Orks.
I'm just tired of everything getting upscaled. GW does it, everyone else does it too to match them. I certainly understand why everyone else does it. It just gives me the irites is all.
Guardsmen are a fine size. They don't need to be any bigger then what they already are. If the upscaling of miniatures continue, they'll one day cease to be miniatures.
I'm completely happy with my Arcadians being much less chunky than the cadians(but still completely compatable(hell it makes the cadiqn arms and legs a natural choice for guys in winter/NBC gear)). Scale creep is a blight. Sure make the marines bigger, they are meant to be, but guard? Hell no.
Tiny little guardsmen facing down the horrors of the universe is to me the appeal.
Automatically Appended Next Post: They're just ladies with slouch hats. Some look like the Victorian guard female heads. Which i grafted to slouch hats.
Hi Folks,
I've been quiet for a while, but I'm back and very excited to be racing into the home stretch of 2021. Lots of fun projects in the works, and new releases coming up.
I thought I would kick off by launching another batch of Scrapper's Reject Bits Bag this weekend. These always sell out fast, so be quick.
I'm also thrilled to announce that we will have our newest squad coming out this month. The Van Diemen's World Devils 10 Woman Squad. I am really chuffed with this kit, I've put a lot on TLC into it. Watch this space

Catch you soon,
V.
Budget permitting I'll give a five-woman squad a go when they pop up, hopefully Trenchworx has upped the quality and the stuff will no longer be plagued by these horrible mold / slip lines on the right side of every model and part.
