Today I started my facebook fan page of my studio. I'm doing commision work for about 8 years I think. I love to paint miniatures and I'm having a lot of fun from it Within few days my website will start. Your opinion about my minis is very precious for me so feel free to comment any type of my work. Wow, fantastic work man!!! When I first saw the drones on the GW website I wasn't very impressed to say the least. It is amazing how much difference a good paint job AND a proper color scheme can make all the difference in a model's presentation! Again I say fantastic work!

Lol thank you... finally someone with a good taste of colours the GW one is way to cartoony... by it being so green this is exactly how i would imagine them in rl the more yellowy skin.

I'm constantly thinking about tutorial, something usefull and done in "my way". Now I have so much work with minis that it's hard to get some free time. Maby when i will paint my tzeenetch deamon prince I will make some photos and tutorial of making skinn on him. Today I made this model, last for that deamon army, unless my "orderer" want some more At 14.04.2013 I will get whole tzeenetch army for WFB so I won't stop working with deamons.

I am definately digging the Chaos theme! I am currently working on some Bloodletters myself for my first commission. It is cool to see how the Pros do it though... Your level of work is definately inspirational to up and coming artists. Are you using and airbrush for a majority of the paint work? May be a dumb question.... but I was wondering what percentagewise is the paint done, % airbrush/ % brush?

I still need to learn a lot, I'm far from people that I call pro I use as much airbrush as I can , because it saves a lot of time, and can give you smooth shading. In this model firstly I've painted whole skin using airbrush with red+black, then added more , red and more, and then white etc. Then I washed whole model with watered "carroburg crimson" by GW and added some carmine red vallejo ink . After that I used black paint with dose of water to do the black endings of legs and horns and also to make more dark the areas with "dots" like back or shoulders. Next I take normal brush and higlight skin using red, orange and yellow. Metal parts, tongue, nails, dots on back etc were made with normal brush. At the end I made sword using airbrush. First dark blue, then ble and them, more and more white paint, till clear white ( all with airbrush). FInally some edges with brush and white paint, and darker pards of sword with blue wash and brush. Thats all I think. Using airbrush is quite helpfull if you know how to use it.

As far as I remember , this topic has been moved by mods here. If there is more adequate place for topic like this -- small ask for mods please move it I present here not only commision work but also models that I bought to paint ( because I like them) and then sell on ebay or something to get money for more of them. I like when people tell me what they like or dislike in my work, what I should correct etc. Every comment is precious for me. Now I'm working on a pure tzeentch deamons army with bases from micro art with nice scheme so I will present them here. Also You can wisit my website hellfirestudio.com.pl - few days ago I've posted an interview with an interesting person, also I'm working on few tutorials ( they take a loot of time to prepare...).

Thank you guys I make models worldwide. Phoenix is currently on ebay, Allarielle went to Belfast, nurgle drones to France and other 40k deamons to Spain Today I will finsh commision on TT lvl - 5 dark angels terminators with about 20 hands on magnets (even head for medic is removable )

Sure.

Screaming skull GW as a base.
Then watered gryphon sepia wash from GW.
Again screaming skull to higlight larger areas.
Now som white higlights.
Last step is white lining.

That's all

I was truly shocked that you can achieve dact effect by using GW "evil sunz scarlet" Blood red was not my favourite paint, but new wersion has juicy red colour, and is covering very good.

I like your style and good taste for colours!
just something that has come to my mind and you can find of inspiration: you can try to use more shadows in the lower part of your models or where two minis are connected (for example bloodletters and plaugedrones) and on the parts clearly opposed to direct light (like flames)
