And I would be that friend. Sadly I'm working out color schemes for the Relegators.
Though I have one decided upon I do not have it completed but I'll post when I do.
Sadly, it will just be on a regular tac marine, nothing fancy yet XD.

The symbol for the relegators is a melting sun as their name roughly means the Banishers
so I thought it was the closest idea a symbol could be to represent that theme.

This is the test scheme for the Relegators Space Marine Chapter. The colors are final but I do have to refine the painting XD. Alas I have a few months to do so.
My camera set up is lackluster to say the least so that's the first thing I'm going to improve.
Also since the army is mostly mounted on bikes and in tanks, I'm not sure how it'll be applied to them.
Then there is the matter of how it'll be applied to the intense conversions Aidobmac is doing.
However I am happy to finally have a foot in the door so ALL GOOD!

I really love this idea and here's why:

1) This caught my attention because I thought it was "Regulator." I'm a Fallout fan so I looked into it.

2) The kit bashing (hope I'm using the right term)!

3) The idea of these guys is super cool.

4) The models themselves are flawless.

5) EVERYTHING!!!

Definitely exalted.

I like the paint scheme you've done with these. My only issue is that the robotic limbs seem to spindly. Maybe if you beefed them out a bit more then it would correct the scale issue

Hello all, just so i don't crowd you guys with my bad blue marines, I'm gonna show you some tactical marines from my favorite army I have completed thus far in this hobby of ours.
This was actually the second Iron hand tactical squad i made, but I feel like my first unit looked better, which Ill probably lost at a later date.
Iron Hand Tac

I am assuming you used necron warrior legs and then cut off their feet and used guitar string to meld into the SM boot? I have been working with Necron warror legs myself, but I tend to only replace 1 leg so 1. they look less uniform and 2. I get 2+ sets of bionic legs for each set of necron legs I buy.
How did you go about making their back packs and is it something you did for an entire army. They look really cool.

This is the second marine to bare the Relegator paint scheme. The lighting in my room (I'm in a dorm room) is hugely dominated by natural lighting from outside.
I have a really big window but a small lamp with a blown bulb and its not just a regular bulb so its not a regular fix XD. For those wondering Aidobmac and I attend separate universities
with a distance of over 800 km between them. We play 40k together and have evolved in the hobby considerably under each others guidance. Last year we decided we wanted to
really be involved in tournaments during the summer since during school months, we had no time to regularly play 40k, plus the clubs in our towns are lackluster. So we started working
on projects for the summer involving singles but mainly doubles tournaments. Last year we brought out our Iron Hands and Dark Eldar, Our respective personal armies. This year we are starting a new
project from scratch and so we bare witness to the creation of the Relegators.

Sadly, you probably won't be able to see any actually painted Relegators till Christmas but I'll continue to practice on regular marines and Aidobmac will pump out the converted Relegators.

Love it. Almost wish I had gone with something like this for my iron hand legs. The necron legs worked well, but were a lot of individual work as each marine had to be posed and modeled as each set of legs is different. Took a long time.

Interesting(heretical) idea to use that railgun as a sheath for his sword. Looks pretty good though. The painting will probably sell it. I also think the idea of vents on his sheath is pretty neat to help cool it down, but you may want to GS some of the linear gaps to make it look less xenos(the long line and the one that cuts through the orb at the bottom).

Well that was a long summer of relaxing and generally being unproductive when it comes to my own specific hobbies. Over the summer me and PFI hosted a warhammer tournament for the first time in our area, which meant that we put a hiatus on The Relegators project to focus on making tables for the tournament. We made about 200 pieces of terrain for 20 tables under the themes of Factory, Warzone, Alien, and Demon. If you are interested in taking a look at the terrain we made you can see them here:
http://warhammerascension.wordpress.com/terrain/

On a different subject, this May, right before my exams, I assembly lined all of my unpainted space marines into the blue marine team color scheme that I had been posting. I just felt inspired and painted about 130~ space marines over the course of a week.

In the background, you can see my Tau Army, which was my first army when I started 40k. Currently I am in the process of touching up a 1850pts segment of the army in preparation for The Warmasters Challenge tournament in a week and a few days. This will be the topic for the next while, and then It will switch to ANOTHER space marine force I am planing on creating, as I have an unhealthy obsession with space marines. I will also dive head first into airbrushing for this new marine army.
