-----John and Rose------
Ever since he messed with that glitched window, John had been bouncing around all over the damn place. He never could predict where, or even when he'd appear. Sometimes he just sat there, discorporated into the breeze and watch things unfold as a sapient mass of air. Other times he'd have to blow away the glitches that were popping up all over in the session and have a brief chat with someone before suddenly being teleported out again. But now the boy was teleported before Rose, who stood ready to finally shut Gamzee up once and for all.
"Okay...this looks like kind of a mess. I mean, wow." He said, blinking as he looked over what could very politely be described as a "clusterfeth".
"John? May I inquire as to what you are doing?" She asked as he summoned the breeze to send the breaks and cracks and mistakes in reality away, banishing the glitches in the very fabric of creation for the briefest of times. But then a portal opened up behind the two of them.
"Oh shi-" He managed to state before the portal started with an irresistable sort of suction, one that seemed impossibly selective as it grabbed onto the two of them and only them. Not a single atom of anything that was not them or on their person was even perturbed by the multicoloured bleeding hole in reality.
Before another word could be said, they were drawn away and into the breach, where cold, callous eyes could be felt observing them as they passed along.
-----Samus Aran and the Space Pirates------
Samus casually and effortlessly dodged the clumsy wrist mounted power scythe swing of a space pirate, the hot breath of the Reptillian creature condensing as it met the cool air, the green skinned monster trying to leap at her in a frenzy, avoiding the burning yellow eyed monster by twisting her body around and bringing her elbow down on it's joint to snap off the limb in a single blow before jamming her arm cannon, holding her energy beam in place as she charged up an attack and jammed the weapon into the base of it's hideous Lizardlike skull, firing and watching it's skull bloom into a gory mess as she swept a series of seeker missiles across the rest of them, ripping them apart as she disappeared into a blur, charging through them and slamming into them under the effect of the speedbooster, but as she worked, portals were torn open before her, drawing her in with irresistable force as they sought out the pirates as well, bringing them in wherever possible.
--------Decepticons-------
Prime had destroyed everything, Cybertron, the Decepticons, Megatron himself. His spirit floated in the well of all sparks, bodiless and aimless, resigned to the pit for his crimes with the rest of the decepticons, languishing eternally in the afterlife. But then, something beyond even the power of Primus called to his spirit. Desperate for any chance to escape his eternal damnation, he and his decepticons gladly latched onto this offer, finding their bodies reformed in the maelstrom of power, rebuilt, remade, recreated as they were deposited into a new world, a new city.
-----General Grievous------
Standing amid the ruins of yet another world, the Kaleesh General warily stared down the charred wreck of a planet he had left behind. It was a victory yes, but it felt almost like cheating to resort to such thorough orbital bombardment for the sake of expediency when the ground battle was something of a forgone conclusion. He supposed he could add another mark to his growing tally of conquered worlds, but it was really something of a backwater. He wasn't even particularly sure what Sidious wanted from it.
He turned to give orders to the droids that slavishly followed him, but with a great tearing noise, the gaping maw of reality being pulled apart presented itself to him, a swirling maelstrom of power looking him dead on as it started to draw him in. Not just him though, everything, much of his forces were being pulled towards the portal, and no matter how hard he dug himself in, he couldn't resist the suction. Even if the portal had to literally tear him and the ground he was standing on from the world to draw him in, it would claim it's prize.
As he was brought into this whirlwind cacaphony of colors and shapes with forms he did not understand or comprehend dashing past his eyes, he thought he saw something at least vaguely comprehendible for the briefest of moments, but then it was over, his journey completed.
------Senator Armstrong-------
Facing down the super powered Senator was Raiden, the slippery little bastard who had proven so difficult to deal with, but he thought that if he could teach him a lesson, he may start to make him see things from his way. Go "easy" on him, knock him senseless, but don't kill him. Noticing that Raiden had already drawn his sword into a defensive posture, he immediately put his football career into use and charged him faster than he could react. Unfortunately, a portal opened right behind him and vomited him out somewhere entirely different, the shapes of Desperado Enforcement soldiers flashing by him could be seen as they were dragged through "conduits" in this cosmic netherplane.
------Allied nations------
So many wars across so many dimensions, so many battles fought across different time streams with all sorts of fantastical technologies and incarnations of great figures. But they all shared something in common right now, yawning doors through reality opening above them and irresistably dragging them in to a fate unknown, sweeping up tanks, ships, soldiers, aircraft, buildings, scientists, anything that could be seen was brought in, into a conflict even stranger than the ones they were already taken part in.
-----Prophet, America and the Ceph----
From one wartorn world to another, the portals dragged many of the factions of this earth, discretely swallowing them as they did constant battle. Many of them, caught in the whirlwind of war, didn't even notice as they were transported. But one man knew. One man bonded to an armor system like no other. One man who had been fighting for so long on so many fronts. One man, they called prophet.
------Guardsmen and Tyranids-----
The Imperial fleet and hive fleets were diverted from their courses by the portals, tearing their way open even in the warp to drag the new combatants into the never ending font of violence. With a bleary shake of his head, the Admirals in command of the imperial navy noticed the number of aggressors, several fleets were orbiting the planet, all busily engaging each other in a multifaceted duel, and what's worse was that a tyranid fleet was also here, although it seemed confused...disoriented just as the servants of the Emperor were.
Wasting no time, the Guard and the Tyranids were deployed onto the planet to join the myriad factions already locked in bitter warfare with one another, the Imperial Guard quickly finding that the planet's primary population surprisingly, seemed human.
-----The Scrin-------
The gates were unforseen, but welcome by the harvesters. Entering them willingly, they rode out through the stars before a wave of meteors that heralded their push through the portals, exiting above a new world, yet one that was familiar, for it was another incarnation of one already well known to them, Earth.
Their scans showed that this earth had multiple portals already above it, some matching the signatures of the portals they were going through, and a few actually being something completely different. Coming from some sort of cosmic cubes. Data analysis showed that this wasn't exactly matching the standard description of what those energies should coincide with. This earth seemed different from even the element of human culture it was lifted from.
No matter.
-----Earth-----
In this incarnation, Loki had multiple Tesseracts bringing forth his Chitauri army from multiple portals. A feral grin came from the Asgardian as his armies ravaged many a metropolis, with the greatest efforts to stop his advance being made here in New York where his brother and his "avengers" were working to contain the damage spread by his minions. However, a series of shapes could be seen in the air, like satellites, only much larger, with what looked like explosions blossoming between them.
Then came a series of streaking stars that ran down the atmosphere and smashed into the ground, blossoming into green explosions that showered the areas they hit with green crystal, followed by another wave of impactors bringing a new set of aliens into the fray, one that seemed hostile to both humanity and the Chitauri. But to complicate matters further, other forces emerged from different portals, Robots, Cyborgs, and yet more humans wielding strange weapons.
-----General Grievous------
Already his fleet was engaged with some unknown form of alien nation, his ground forces were emerging to find more of these aliens and armies he'd never seen or heard of, and he himself was standing in a city that was clearly already in the midst of it's own prior war. And worst of all, some gray skinned aliens had the *audacity* to point their guns at him. Very well then, he thought as he grabbed his lightsabers and clicked them on. He would test the mettle of this new foe personally.
------John and Rose------
Being unceremoniously dumped out of their portal, the two teenagers picked themselves off the ground, with John blowing some wind over them to get the dust off of them as they tried to ascertain where they were.
"...What the hell happened?" He asked as he readjusted his glasses, a strange alien craft zooming over head, some sort of flying chariot glider whose occupants shot blue bolts at a pursuing very vaguely saucer shaped and more organic looking craft that retaliated with it's own set of energy bolts.
"As far as I am able to discern we seem to be in another reality, I sense none of the machinations of the game." She said, frowning as a set of battle droids emerged.
"Drop your weapons and surrender! This planet now belongs to the Separatists!" They said, pointing their carbines threateningly.
------Armstrong------
"Well, this is new." The Senator said as he dusted himself off with a few sweeps of his hand.
"New york. Heh, bunch of bleeding hearts." He snorted as he adjusted his glasses and thought of ways to take advantage of this new situation before a series of aliens, quadrepedal creatures with bulbous central bodies roughly the size of a car, teleported before him with the reverberating thunderclap of displaced air.
"Now what have we here." He grinned.

Atropos glided swiftly through the dead woods that surrounded the Dire Ancient, his inky essence trailed through the darkness of the forest. Little light reached him, his fingers curled into a tight grip as he advanced towards the source of energy. While the others battled with crude weapons and magics he sought out the source of the pulsing power within the forests depths. Atropos advanced into the clearing, his head dropped as he sought his prize. After seconds of searching the Elemental came upon it. It like a great tare in the hide of a beasts flesh, light seeping from it as it pulsed and shuddered. Bane's blacked form peered into it, his jagged fingers reaching down to touch the surface of the anomaly. A jolt of power surged through him, his power sapped as he was dragged towards it. Entangled and powerless Bane screeched and hissed as he was torn from one plane and into another. He waned as his form was obliterated in one realm, and recreated in another. “Who will bring the gods nightmares now!?” He screamed.
Atropos croaked and moaned as he awoke among the rubble of New York, clawing his way from the crater he had been dropped into. Dusting himself off he scanned his new environment, searching for traces of the cursed anomaly. Bane felt something, a different pulse and wave that waned through this new reality. He watched as hundreds toiled in fear and ran from alien invaders, he felt the power of their fear resonate through every inch of his form. He felt the purity of this new place. “The gods can have their sleep” he thought as he advanced into this new nightmare, ready to feed and bring new terror to it's inhabitents.

His fingers dug into the ground as Authrix pushed himself up. He had emerged from what he assumed to be the Warp somewhere... different. Distant. Shaking off the sudden jarring transition, he stood, evaluating the situation. It would seem a war raged around him, yet away from him - for the first time in a long time, Authrix was able to look at a war from the outside. Small skyscrapers and buildings, far taller than the Astartes, but nowhere near the great fortifications he was used to, burned and crumbled as xenos and androids fought for control. The streets were cracked and torn by las blasts and high explosive. He reached out with his mind, finding a mix of fear and hatred running through the nearby lifeforms, tinged with the sharp tang of adrenalin and panic.
Just like any other war.
Drawing his pistol and sword, the Librarian marched towards the war, intent on finding his place and the nearest representatives of the Imperium of Man.

Raiden was startled by the sudden disappearance of the deranged senator. He was about to slice the mad man in two when he simply disappeared into thin air. Raiden carefully put away his sword and brought up his codec.
"Doktor, Senator Armstrong has just disappeared."
"I can see that Ja, he showed signs of being enhanced, but from what we can see he is gone off the face of the earth. What an interesting phenomenon."
"What do you mean?" Raiden inquired.
"Well it's quite simply really." The doctor began, Raiden never heard the rest of the old man's words, seconds later a new portal swung open beneath his feet and he was sucked into oblivion. Even his enhanced eyesight couldn't make out what was going on.
He landed with a hard thunk on top of a roof somewhere. All around him was chaos and mayhem as some kind of alien vessel raged around the place. Raiden got his bearings and soon realised exactly where he was, Federal Hall. He was standing in exactly the same place where he had fought his godfather, Solidus Snake. Raiden tried to raise his codex, but all the channels were dead. For whatever reason this New York was not the one he knew. Leaping from the rooftop, Raiden began a search to find out exactly what just happened.

Savior and the Order of Tranquility
Out came Savior and her order of their portal, marching down the streets of New york. The Xenos and Androids, fired at them, but the Tiste Longa just fired back with their weapons, which ranged from Railguns to Hard light weapons, killing with grace. They marched and marched, taking cover when a rounds screamed into them, killing some.
"Tiste Hora" Savior said, Firing her pistol at the Tiste Hora squad firing at them from a building.
Soon all over the city, Tiste Long and Hora where fighting eachother, bringing the war in heaven to the realm of Mortalkind.
Tanks, that looked to be based off the Predator from WH40k, expect armed with a Railgun, fought each other, as APC's brought troops to the fight, either against Hora or Mortals.

Bane flung blasts of energy in all directions as he moved through the streets, his tally having reached an impressive height as more and more of the brutes came upon him. Their weapons sparked off his dread form, with Atropos quickly returning fire to heal his wounds. He danced and laughed among the ruins, trailing black ichor through the streets as he advanced further into the chaos. More aliens had joined the fray, and thus Bane's tally. He skirted off the sides of the main conflict, careful not to go to deep into the fray until it offered a safe victim. He jutted forward, gripping one of the commanders of the groups and rending them apart with his fiends grip. Atropos laughed as his meal was left a broken, drained husk in seconds. He found new prey quickly. Clad in golden armour, a female captain of one of the xenos sides ordered her forces on against her foes. Bane smirked as he advanced forth towards her.....

Just like any other war.
Drawing his pistol and sword, the Librarian marched towards the war, intent on finding his place and the nearest representatives of the Imperium of Man.
A group of guardsmen, having been dropped off their transport, were trying to make sense of their newest deployment zone that their admiral had rushed them into, almost immediately coming fire from the Grey Skinned Xenos and their blue laser blasts. Given their dialect of gothic, and how quickly they had to shed their great coats to deal with the weather, they were almost certainly valhallan.
"+We have made ground contact but the enemy is crawling everywhere! There are kinds of Xenos that I have never seen in any primer, we need reinforcements on our position ASAP!+" He said as many of the growling Chitauri were downed by lasgun shots. Well, at the very least their lasweaponry worked.
But the captain turned to see the approaching space marine, making his jaw drop. "Emperor be praised, a Space Marine!" He said as fire from the saucer shaped Scrin storm riders forced them to duck down while someone brought out a flakk missile to bear on the craft, firing away only to impact some sort of energy barrier.
"The only thing we know is that there are humans here, there's some Tyranids, and a bunch of bloody aliens no one's ever heard of. Auspex reading says there's some kind of radioactive contaminant on the planet that's spreading, and by the throne I haven't the damndest idea what to do!" The guardsmen said somewhat frantically as a large, tripedal walker stalked it's way through the streets, the fifteen meter tall warmech scattering the native policemen with sweeps from it's laser beams mounted on flexible stalks while swarms of tiny, silvery creatures buzzed around it's legs, a shield glowing as tank shells from the native humans slammed into it.
However, it seemed that an explosive charge or otherwise great deal of force against the tripod's legs would knock the thing down and out for the count.
"Who's got the flamers? We've got swarmers!" The Captain shouted as some of the valhallans brought out their specialist weapons.

Needless to say, with several factions of armed forces dumped into the fray with no real idea of what was happening, New York City was in utter chaos. However, some observation revealed that there were elements of Desperado and World marshall amid the madness, with one such example being a group of Gekkos busily fighting some of the aliens spawned from organic drop pods that rained down from on high, sending the dog sized creatures flying with machine gun fire and powerful kicks.
Another odd sight was someone else clearly armored with some form of Carbon nanotube structure, albeit different from his own, using some form of weapon similar to, but more advanced than the small arms that many of the human groups were using, firing out slugs from an underslung gauss attatchment to his weapon while spraying some of the Grey skinned aliens with hypersonic flechettes, moving from cover to cover with superhuman, but certainly not cyborg ninja level grace and power, not afraid to crack the skulls of some of the aliens.
Elsewhere, a silver-white armored figure, seemingly female given the shape of her armor, was being engaged by a large number of aliens who seemed to be masses of gelatin contained in CNT musculature suits, trading blows with the aliens who sent freeze rays, solidified chunks of the air propelled at great speeds after being frozen solid, and plasma her way as she retaliated with a barrage of missiles.
But most worrisome was that one mother of a large portal opened to reveal a stupendously large monster, perhaps smaller than the Metal Gear EXCELSUS, but the black skinned and bone armored monster strode through the city like a colossus as it let loose a defiant roar to the city at large, almost immediately attracting heavy weapons fire from low hanging space ships that bathed it in powerful plasma discs while smaller interceptors launched from carriers blasted it with kinetic beam strikes while orange beams from it's eyes were sent out to retaliate.
This was New York City.
This was a clusterfeth.

Raiden's new suit had one major weakness, its need for energy. Raiden was already superhuman, but in order to fully power up his suit he needed raw energy from cyborgs. He would be able to rip out their spinal column and absorb the energy into himself.
Using his scouting abilities, Raiden could see several factions gunning it out in localised fighting, but it was all a shambles. He could see at least three sides to the conflict, but even that was in doubt. There were at least two kinds of 'alien' one of them was descending from the sky in balls of flesh, the other seemed more mechanically minded. They were covered in glowing blue tubing, Raiden suspected that it was some kind of energy source, it may come in useful.
Before he could think upon his decision, one of the fleshy balls descended from the sky with a wet thud. It crashed a few metres away from Raiden, not knowing what to expect inside Raiden pulled out his new sword, a present from Jetstream Sam. The deadly blade glowed red and cracked with lightning as he waited. A pair of massive claws grabbed their way out of the structure and pulled itself to full height.
Unknown to Raiden, this creature was a deadly Carnifex. Smelling the cyborg below him, the massive creature growled at it attempted to rip the being to shreds beneath his massive claws. But Raiden was exceptionally quick and darted away from the monstrous creature.
This walking tank brought down his massive clawed fist at Raiden who gracefully blocked the beast with his blade. The creatures skin was hard enough to give his newly acquired weapon trouble, but slowly the blade bit into the skin. Seeing his chance, Raiden judo flipped the creature high into the air and launched the Carnifex screaming over the side of the building. Raiden smirked as he heard the crack of its landing and risked a peek over the edge. Amazingly the creature was not dead, but it had appeared to break its leg in the fall. The wounded Carnifex whimpered as it dragged it's body away.
Raiden noticed some familiar colours, Desperado cyborgs were fighting some kind of alien vessel. If there was Desperado then maybe Armstrong was here too, Raiden knew that he couldn't let the brute get away with what he had done, so he set about trying to track the rouge senator down.

Prophet was not having a good day. The Nanosuit wearing soldier gunned down what had to be dozens of these aliens, which his hacking into the Network of something called "SHIELD" was calling the "Chitauri" who were lead by something called "Loki" and no, his delving into the relevant data showed absolutely no signs of it being some kind of fancy code name. Apparently he was the bonafide Norse God of Deception.
Aliens he was used to, his battles with the Ceph having long inured him on that particular front of oddness, but Gods? That was something entirely else. Moving forward, modified SCARAB in hand, he dashed throughout the city, gunning down plenty of the Chitauri on his way forward. "Cyborgs from the looks of it, not quite Ceph grade but I can see why the locals are having trouble." he said, finding that he probably wasn't on his earth after poring over the Shield database.
"Seems like something out of a movie." He said to himself as he noticed the Giant monster slugging it out with space ships.
"Several movies."
However, as he moved, he soon noticed someone else in what his suit determined was made out of CNT, but quite possibly, actually certainly more advanced than his suit in every way something could be better.
Something that with a quick scan of his nanovision, told was being approached by a Ceph stalker, which he quickly shot in the face with the gauss attatchment, bringing the creature out of cloak as he dropped before the Blade wielding Cyborg.
"What outfit are you from? Army, Marines?" Prophet asked Raiden.

"Hold the line Guardsmen! Remember your duty: victory or death! Sergeant" Authrix approached the commander of the unit as the flamers set about their work. "What armaments do your men have? I believe an explosive applied to the walker's leg could cripple it." The crack of lasguns firing at targets behind the unit interrupted the Sergeant's response. Authrix pressed him further. "Speak man, time grows short." He drew his pistol and fired, the bolt shell catching a rushing xenos, whipping its torso back before detonating, sending visceral matter across the street.

FOXHOUND was my unit. Raiden thought to himself. Tricked by the Patriots to believe that he was part of Special Forces Unit FOXHOUND. But that had all be a fallacy. FOXHOUND was disbanded by the time he 'joined'. Currently he was unemployed, having handed in his resignation to Maverick PMC.
He was facing down this other man. He wasn't a cyborg, that much was certain, he seemed to have a suit on instead. Being a full cyborg made you faster, stronger and harder to damage. But this suit was definitely advanced enough to put up a threat. Raiden put his blade away once more and stared this man in the eye.
"I am Lightning, the rain transformed." Raiden replied.
"That didn't answer my question." Prophet replied. "Are you an American soldier?"
"I was, but I'm not anymore. I am simply justice." Raiden looked at the other soldier. "You can call me Raiden."
"And you can call me Prophet.

"What SECOND can get off of the situation is bad, but you can probably see that for yourself." He said, gesturing to the ships, leviathans, soldiers, and aliens busily and gleefully slaughtering each other in droves.
He said even as a giant green monster of a man flew overhead to ram a Scrin stormrider out of the air and into the ground, punching it all the way down to it's fateful reunion with the ground below.
"What I can gather is that the source of at least some of this is from someone called Loki. I thought it was a codename, but intel from the locals states that he's supposed to be the real deal. Like, the actual god. He's on the tower that's projecting the beam, but I think if we take him out we can at least stem some of the trouble." Prophet said as his nanovision zoomed in on CELL troopers shooting it out with, if his knowledge of gaming culture from SECOND was correct, were Space Pirates from Metroid.
"Now this is probably going to sound like some kind of crazy revolutionary idea, but I propose we head to that tower, try to meet up with the "superheroes" the local data feed is calling "The Avengers" and anyone else who might help us, and kill ourselves a god." He said, keeping his rifle close as the Hulk jumped out to get onto a Chitauri leviathan.

Curiously, the stalks couldn't bend far enough to allow for more than two of them to fire at any one point. Weapons that were preoccupied with the local's tanks who were running a fighting retreat.

"Ah, am I going to have fun" She said. She gave the order to fire, in which her men did.
Atropos drew back as the rail blasts tore into his inky essence, but surged forth as he spoke the words of incantation. Almost instantly, several of the troopers were suspend in the air, trapped in their nightmares by Bane's vicious hex. The Elemental laughed as he closed his cast another set of hexes, leaving those not entrapped weakened and barely able to move, knock kneed and blood running cold under his sorcery. He moved towards the Saviour, his laughter deep and his power strong;

"I see... I'll need those guardsmen Sergeant. I'll get them back in one piece, hold until then." Authrix gestured to the men. "With me soldiers. The Emperor has need of your services yet." Striding forwards, the librarian focused his mind into the quickened state of Veil of Time, extending it to the guardsmen under his command. His prescience guided them through the warzone as though the world moved in slow motion.
"Careful men. Though they may be slowed to us, those bullets will still be deadly to your poorly armoured forms. Stay behind me and I'll tank the hits. As long as I'm closest you will survive. To the walker."
Even as the Dark Angel approached with the Valhallans, the walker levelled its weapons, pulses of sickly green energy causing a tank to erupt somewhere further back. Authrix pointed to the leg and nodded. The air screamed as Melta fire tore through, melting away one of the walker's legs in an instant.

Ra stepped out of the shadows to see a planet in ruin, multiple species many of which he had never seen before. He turned to see the remains of a warp portal blink out of existence. Ra walked forward, taking the shadows with him as he stealthily surveyed the land scape. He watched with witch sight a shining entity of divine light battle battle a large dark smog. Ra looked upon them with his own eyes and he was almost surprised to see a glowing, almost human looking angelic fighting with an elemental of darkness.
Narrowing his eyes, he stepped from the darkness to release a fusillade of psy enhanced shots into the back of the creature of chaos, taking it by surprise. He had mastered his fears long ago, and this creature stood between him and the shining apparition. He sensed power in her, maybe enough to help him get home.

Bane screeched in pain, spinning round to face both the Savior and the new comer. With a wicked grin he spat a wicked hex upon the Phoenix Lord, sapping the ancients vital energy to regain his own. Realising that the situation had turned very much against him, Atropos sucked the life from those had previously entrapped within their nightmares. They spasmed in their dreams, with their life flowing to the Elemental. With renewed vigour, Bane drew up a ward to shield himself from further attack as he began to retreat back into the ruins.

Ra was struck by darkness, clouding his mind with visions on unholy terror. He battled his way through swarms of astral enemies, he was almost over come. Then he saw a bright light at the end of the tunnel, a shining figure dispelling the darkness. Ra focussed on the light and the dark began to recede from his mind. The darkness was retreating, Ra harried it with shurikans but dark magicks protected its hide. Ra turned to the angelic, and spoke directly to her mind to get past any translation issues, He asked the single thing that was on his mind since the he arrived here.

"The Avengers? Sounds like something out of a comic book." Raiden said. "Sounds like something my son would watch on morning television." Raiden turned his head towards a noise that was getting loader by the second. All off a sudden, a massive alien that looked like a gigantic metal snake was howling through the air. The flying worm was coated in thick amour plating, and it was heading directly for the pair of enhanced soldiers. It didn't seem to be in an impressed mood, and it looked ready to take out it's anger on the groups below.
"I don't think I've ever killed a God before, but lets see if we can take down this Metal Gear first." Raiden smiled and shut his combat visor. "You head for that tower Prophet, I'm going to buy you some time." He said as he jumped high into the air.

Savior sighed, then turned toward Ra.She looked at him with her blue eyes, the sounds of battle between the Longa and Hora was in the background.
"Either Jrova felt like having some fun with mortal kind, or Hrova is attacking, the Hora here makes me lean towards the latter" She said, a Tiste Hora with a sword ran towards her, a swinged at her head, she blocked it, then grabbed the Hora by the throat and slammed him to the ground, then brought her sword down on him.
She began to walk to her honor guard, and said a prayer. They disappeared.

Ra sighed, and thought ''well that was unhelpful'' before a familiar sound split the air. Bolter fire. Emboldened, Ra began to run at full speed towards the sounds of fighting, 'better the fight he knew'' he thought. Maybe, just maybe, he could coerce the imperials into helping him get home, after all, who says you can't teach an old monkey new tricks.

The Leviathan sensed easy prey, being called from the Chitauri mothership it bore waves of alien soldiers ready to make this accursed planet submit to Thanos. Letting it's jaw hang open as it let loose a gurgling roar, the Leviathan headed downwards, stabilizing it's flight on it's massive fins as it undulated to bring itself downwards, crashing through car after car while it continued to roar, Chitauri on it's back whooping and hollering as they prepared for the impact. Surely, there couldn't be more creatures with the power of the hulk, or heaven forbid, creatures whose might exceeded his.
Prophet moved through the buildings, hitting a series of Ceph grunts with a lethal spray from the MIKE microwave gun, making their gelatinous structures explode into giblets within their armor as their watery bodies exploded. A spray from his SCARAB then put the Chitauri they were fighting and winning against to rest, ripping through their bodies and sending blue blood spurting out as the flechettes from his rifle tore through their armor.
Routing power into his legs, he jumped up onto a fire escape and quickly dashed up the side to get onto higher ground where he noticed a Scrin stormrider flashing by. Timing his leap perfectly, he jumped onto the shielded Scrin craft as it whipped through the city. Doing his best to keep balance on the attenuated shield bubble, Prophet turned to make a dash and leap onto the side of another building, smashing his hands into it to make handholds into the concrete, which he thanked whatever higher powers were listening for being weaker than they made it back home.
Repeatedly smashing his own hand and foot holds into the concrete, he climbed his way onto a window cleaner's lift and noticed the dead body on it, seemingly infested with some sort of green crystal that was rapidly consuming his body after some shards lodged itself in his abdomen and chest. Taking a sample, his suit analyzed the material before flashing a warning.
"Warning, unknown material is a dynamic proton lattice, substance aggressively assimilates other forms of matter by altering their atomic structure to free up more particles to join lattice. Substance displays multiple useful characteristics for power generation, nanofabrication, weaponization, and bioaugmentation. Isolating assimilated structures...isolation complete...analyzing...Substance displays vulnerability to harmonic frequencies. Recommend acquisition of sample in safe storage for further study." His suit said as he went over likely matches.
There wasn't anything real that matched it's properties, but cross referencing fictional substances found an ideal match, Tiberium.
"Maybe later." He said as he activated the lift, only to be met with a silver and white plated warrior with a green arm cannon, which poring over SECOND's database matched to Samus Aran, who was currently standing in a pile of dead Urtraghian Space Pirates, the ugly Fishlike and Reptillian aliens lying in a broken, bleeding mess,.
"...This day gets stranger and stranger." He said.
"Nice suit." She said with a smile beneath her helmet.

Authrix pointed to the leg and nodded. The air screamed as Melta fire tore through, melting away one of the walker's legs in an instant.
The Walker let loose a high pitched screeching wail, seeming to be in actual pain as it's leg was melted through. Dozens of tons of tiberium based biomechanics flailed as they sought to attain a balance that could no longer be reached. The behemoth of a walker stumbled, taking it's last few steps before it began to tip over from overcompensating for it's now missing leg tip. Like a tree that had just been cut down, it leaned over before falling down, crushing many of the Scrin's vile biomechanical tanks as it fell down, a receding Ululating digital note reverberating from it's systems as it began to shut down and rapidly died.
Overhead though, a human sized figure flew by, giving a signal to some man with a hammer to conjure forth lightning from the clouds to strike him, to which his suit, which appeared to be getting increasingly sluggish, seemed to be quite literally recharged by. Giving a nod to the blond haired warrior who spun up his hammer before flying into the distance, the man in the metal suit then fired into some of the Gelatinous aliens contained in powered armor suits made out of what auspex signals deemed to be a heavily manipulated form of Carbon arranged into impossibly tiny tube like structures.
As he cut down the gelatinous aliens by feeding energy into his Microwave radar until they started to burst from literally being boiled alive, he failed to notice one of the "Scrin", the Biomechanical aliens based on some sort of radioactive substance. The twelve foot, spidery creature's single eye then began to glow purple, and the Librarian would immediately have sensed a potent usage of telepathy as it started feeding new thoughts and information into the Iron man's brain. The man, unaware of the dangers of Witchery, was helpless to resist as it took control of his mind in a way Loki's scepter never could.
Now being directed by it's new puppet master, the mind controlled Tony Stark changed it's course to attack the other psyker it sensed in the vicinity, the Librarian, flying at him to get off a repulsor blast from the wrist followed by a punch.

Some Valhallan humans were shouting at two individuals who, judging by their short size and facial features, were almost certainly children. From the contents of their gothic speech, the guardsmen were probably yelling at the kids to get out of the way and let them fight as a Leman Russ squadron laid down heavy fire from their heavy bolters, coaxial gun, pintle mounted heavy stubbers, and fearsome battle cannons into a mass of robotic opponents whose own, flimsier tanks seemed to be withdrawing from the Imperial's big guns.
"I'm not certain if you quite understand what we are capable of." The one in the Dayglo orange said, probably female from the tone of her voice and what of her body shape that her robe revealed.
"Unless you two are saints I've never heard of you better clear this space! This is the Emperor's world now, go find solace in our priests and missionaries!" The Guardsmen shouted at them over the sound of another of the Robotic tanks exploding into a fireball.
"But we can help!" The one in blue, probably a boy from his form and voice said back, trying to shoot over the constant storm of lasguns and automatic fire.
"I won't have "let a child needlessly die" be placed on my record!" The Captain shouted as some red bolts came smacking across the streets from bigger, bulkier robots who kept their rapid fire guns mounted on their right wrists.

Ra could practically taste the tang of psykic energy at the edge of his mind, swapping to witch sight, Ra could see he was on a vast plain that saw straight through material objects, with glowing lights representing each and every soul of the xenos city. Ra made a full 360, taking in the information and looking for his next objective. far to the east he saw the glowing figures of the cryptic angelics, the the west a darkness Ra didn't wish to look to long at, and directly in front of him he saw the a human mind that shined brighter then the rest. A primitive psyker, he mind steaming with execution as he bent time around him. Ra saw the flickering mind of an vast alien walker before the lights went out. He was still in witch sight when the massive walker crashed meters in front of him, shaking him from his stupor.
He saw humans, imperial guardsmen lead by one of the imperium's super human soldiers, the astartes. Ra briefly made eye contact with the super human, who was about to make his orders, before he was knocked off his feat and began to brawl with a human in more advanced, yet somehow more primitive, armour as the astartes. they trades blows, but the man in iron wouldn't give the librarian the space to draw his potent weapon. Ra leaped over the startled guardsmen and followed with a roll that brought him right towards the melee.
Ra swung his massive powered scythe skilfully, driving the armoured one back, but he was fast for a human and evaded swings Ra wouldn't of though possible. Each time the scythe connected with his armour a vast amount of sparks flew between them. Ra turned to the Liberian before reciting a platitude he knew spanned both his race and the Humans.

The Alien controlling Iron Man, Prodigal mastermind 94172, jumped down from it's high perch, impacting the ground with enough force to splinter the concrete as it directed it's new meat puppet to it's side, summoning forth several swarms of buzzers to allow the silvery little insectoids whose bodies were like razor blades in design and significantly sharper to form around it as another set of shielding. It then proceeded to command another set of buzzer swarms to fly around Iron man and provide him additional defense and attack.
It turned it's single, glowing eye to face the Eldar and the Human psyker before it sent forth a telepathic message, it's undersized mandibles chattering as it's mind sought to form a connection with them, speak to them, try to control them and make them one with the Scrin in mind and body.
"We are Scrin. Scrin: Harvesters of the Ichor. This world: to be harvested. Xenomorphic life forms: Assimilated by Ichor, harvested. Resistance: Doomed to failure. Surrender: Demanded." It's message said, not really a searing violation or a cold intrusion, just the implantation of new thoughts, a series of codes and information formed into words and communications in the mind as the Scrin analyzed the two, sensing the presences of two other unique individuals.
"You aren't particularly subtle with your mental manipulations." Said that same girl, obviously in her teens, to the Alien horror as it directed Iron man to take his place by it's side, backing away briefly.
"Arrival: Unanticipated. Request: Reinforcements. Puppets: Additional required." It's broadcast said as it sent out a psychic beacon before directing Iron Man to attack the Space Marine and Eldar as it sought to deal with the Children personally.
"I'll deal with his bugs, you stop his psychic shenanigans." John said as he prepared his multicoloured hammer while Rose twirled her needlewands.
"Your defeat: Inevitable. Defeat by carbon based life: Impossible." It said as it's "head" started to flare with psychic energy.
Ironman said words that didn't seem to come out of his own mind, his enslavement to the horrific alien psyker obvious. "Serve the Overlord, fight for the Overlord. Give in to the Ichor..." He groaned out as he fired his cutting laser at the two, sweeping it across while he prepared a chest fired uni-beam blast, his suit letting out a high pitched whine while it built up the energy needed for the task.
((From here on out, feel free to take control of Iron man while he's being mind controlled))

The Leviathan had moved close to Raiden, its stabilising fins dragging along the floor. The cyborg aliens along it's back cheered in sync, all looking forward to the battle ahead. Raiden had a plan in his head, wait for the Leviathan to take a bite, then head across his back. All of a sudden, he heard a familiar voice from his codec.
"Raiden is that you? It's Doktor."
"Doktor? Where are you? How on earth did you get here?"
"Like I said, it was most peculiar. There seem to be hundreds of portals appearing all over the known universe. In fact, there appear to be portals appearing in fictional universes too."
"Fictional universes? You mean video games?"
"Ja, well if enough people believe it then doesn't it become real?"
"Call you back Doktor." Raiden put away his codec and prepared for battle.
With a massive leap, Raiden leapt up on to the back of the Leviathan. The aliens on board broke free and began to charge him, weapons blaring some kind of plasma. Raiden sliced the first person in half, some kind of plasma energy leaked from the being and Raiden smiled. Energy.
Raiden absorbed the substance and unleashed the Ripper. He began to mercilessly hack apart everyone on the back of the Leviathan with strokes of his sword. Jumping from alien to alien Raiden was an unstoppable machine of death, brutally hacking apart the aliens all the way to the tail. he Leviathan seemed to be unaware of the chaos going on along it's topside. Raiden glanced over to the tower were Prophet was heading before looking back to the creature's head.
Jumping off the creature, Raiden sliced through a power cable on the way down, pulling a length of cable down with it. With a powerful push off his legs, Raiden bolted up the side of the building before jumping back onto the creature. Heading towards the creatures head, cable in tow, Raiden threw his sword into the top of the creature with one end of the cable attached to it. Using the cable as a fixing point, Raiden ran along the belly of the creature, wrapping the cable around in a make shift bridle. Once he was back on top, Raiden used his excessive strength to pull the creature towards the tower. Somehow it responded, and Raiden began to ride the creature towards its destination.

Bane came up from the subway, dusted and beaten from the previous conflict. He shook away the dust and watched as a giant of steel and it's sorcerous master confront more mages. Atropos chose his target and leapt forth upon an inky mass, throwing his arms to his sides and chanting madly as he cast his curse upon Iron Man. Griped in the claws of Atropos, the armoured giant shook and shuddered as the nightmarish visions clawed at his armour. Atropos laughed madly as he watched the repercussions of his assault, before a blast of plasma sent the demon-thing sprawling to the ground as the still shuddering Iron Man rose to face him.

Ra stiffened his mental barriers, he had already been invaded once today! The psykic beast clawed at his minds defences, trying to find entrance way to the mind within. Ra thought about this, then casually let his mental barrier down. The psykic tendrils lanced into his brain, trying to assimilate all the knowledge available, but the creature had not encountered a phoenix lord before. It is never wise to intrude onto such a fragmented soul. Thousands of minds laid within his armour, within himself, and they did not take the intrusion lightly. The joints of Ra's armour leaked soul fire as the invading presence was cast from his mind, it didn't try enter again.
All of that happened in a blink of an eye, and in about the same time the machine man began to speed towards Ra and the Liberian. Ra dodged a plasma burst only thanks to his enhanced eldar reflexes, but was struck by a pulse shot that, while didn't scratch the armour, knocked Ra backwards. The Iron Creature bared down upon them, but then Ra sensed a darkness at the edge of his soul, calling to fears long since conquered. The Darkness had arrived. It lashed out at the Iron creature with hex and curse, shaking the human to his core, his mind would be shredded if it had indeed been his own.
Ra took in his options, hostile creatures surrounded him and he knew not who to ally with, everything was new and strange. Except the Darkness, Ra saw something familiar in the daemons psyche, something dark that needed to be extinguished. So Ra did what anyone would do when surrounded by hostiles when you carry a *very* big gun. He let it rip!

Atropos had been thrown back some feet from the fight by Iron Man's blast of plasma. Bane had drained little mana from the psychic slave, but had at least learned of what was occurring. Some form of elite troop of magically or martially skilled warriors (including the god of thunder and lightning, which surprised Bane since last he'd seen Zeus he'd been fighting Axe in a rocky river embankment) were defending this plain from an onslaught of alien armies and troops that had descended from portals in the sky. Atropos was sure that it would have taken several convents and circles of mages and wizards to bring about such a cataclysm, but that wasn't his problem. What his problem was, was the rampaging psychic slave Tony Stark and the trigger happy Phoenix Lord. He new that while Stark possessed little soul or mana to feed on, Ra seemed to be made up of hundreds of vessels of intelligence. “If only....” His plan was interrupted as the Iron Man struck at Atropos's cover, forcing the inky element to pull back and spit curses and hexes upon the so called 'hero'. Bane snarled as he spoke the words of his favoured curse and drained Stark's vitality, drinking from the ichor and plasma that ran through his veins like some form of vampire.

Ra emptied hundreds of psy-shard shurikans into the battling combatants, many sparked off the hex wards of the Darkness and many stuck off Tony's armour, but some found there way to make contact with the Darkness. They did little visible good though, the smog engulfed each one, they fizzled briefly but went out within the smog. But Iron Man had no such protection, and several shurikans struck deep gouges in his armour and the power to his lift thrusters waned abruptly, bring him crashing down. He was a sorry sight, rent on the outside, rent within, but he was not dead.
The Darkness was leeching off the man like a parasite, obviously enjoying the stolen vitality. Ra threw himself bodily between the leeching tendrils and the Man of Iron. The Human had battled well, and deserves a fighters death, not this, not when he knew not what he did. Powerful protective wards flares up on Ra's armour, straining against the leeching. It made Ra sluggish, as umbral weapons flashed into existence, Ra deflected with desperate skill, but this foe was beyond him. But Ra had no intension of bringing the behemoth down, he instead led the creature towards a new squad of aliens pouring out of a portal. Ra feinted a miss block, over balancing himself to one side, the Darkness flung himself at the annoyance that was Ra. But there is one problem with being a living incarnation of shadow, you don't have any *physical* form. Ra turned his over balance into a dive straight through the Darkness. Ra felt cold, after sharing an existence with that creature for 1 second, it made his own title of the harvester of souls seem hollow. Ra ran, back towards imperial lines, leaving the Darkness to be distracted by its new playthings.

Bane spat in anger as he realised he'd been duped. He'd lost his meal and had been left with what were broken dolls in comparrison. After ripping the welp-beings tiny souls from their beings and feasting on them, Atropos sought his feast once again. He'd have to deal with the eldar being soon though, since it obviously bore distaste or even feared the Elemental. The idea of tormenting a being of a hundred souls and minds was truly fiendish, but it wouldn't be easy, but it would be fun. Atropos snickered as he set off on the trail as he sought out Ra.

Authrix watched as the three creatures battled around him. An Eldar, no doubt. He believed it to be a phoenix lord, based on the armour, but he could not be certain. The creature of darkness had attmepted to assail his mind, but a trained Psyker of the Imperium, the Dark Angel elite no less, refused to cow to such ungodly forces. finally, the Eldar led the thing away. As it did, Stark stood again, taking aim with one of his arms. Authrix barely had time to dodge the repulsor blast as a battered and bruised Iron Man restarted his attack. A psychic presence shone to his left: there.
That small creature is affecting his mind. Without a second thought, Authrix draw forth the power of the warp, blasting the creature with psychic energy.

Bane drifted towards the mortal defensive perimeter, trailing after the ancient one who had fled Atropos after his clever dupe. The creature was in no way frail, but he could feel that such a being possessed a millenniums worth of varied souls and minds, all rife and fertile. All within Bane's grasp. While 'heroically' Ra had denied Atropos Stark, the tinkerer was like tasteless paste compared to what the Phoenix Lord was. A banquet. Atropos would feed and draw strength from hundreds of life times;
“Oh Ra, oh Ra, come champion of the old, are you so frail and old that you deny a weak element like me a simple combat? I can assure you, what fates She Who Thirsts offers is nothing like my own... Come play with us Ra, forever and ever.”

Ra didn't need to see the beast to know it hunted him, he could feel it. A numbing cold creeping in at the edges of perception. It was gaining. Ra had bought them time, he had hoped the used it well as he bounded round the corner. Nothing amazed the phoenix lord anymore, but the sight of a blue clad teenager standing atop twitching brain bug, still bring his multi coloured hammer down on its frail form, did come close. Ra could still taste powerful magicks used to break the creature in the Ozone, no doubt the Librarians work. Tony hadn't moved, but he could see his aura was different, he was no longer under his thrall.
There was no time for words, the Darkness was almost upon thm. Ra imprinted his memories, giving the champions recollection of the event. Ra walked over to Tony, and pointed his Maugetar at his face. He held it there, ''Well get up then''. Tony grabbed the end of the Maugetar and shakily steadied himself and relaying info to the rest of his 'team'.
''Darkness approaches, light wanes before loveless night, but now comes again! And we will bring a bloody dawn! For Ynnead!''
Ra sprinted at the wall corner the creature would pass, before planting his foot firmly against the wall and propelling himself backwards onto a large abandoned delivery truck. Ra set his stance as advanced stabilizers magnetised both his boots and the roof of the truck. Ra trailed the gun down the street, and waited.

"Interference: Unanticipated Greater Measures: Required." 94172 Blurted telepathically as it's telekinetic and energy shielding was rocked by another impact of the almight warhammer of vrillyhoo, the dice inside the hammer rolling up a stampede of buffalo from nowhere that ran into the Scrin and pushed it back in a tidal wave of bovines, it's buzzer swarms having been ripped from it some time ago by a spell from the girl. The girl was wielding some form of force it was not familiar with, not psionic in nature, much like the dark one.
As it finally managed to repulse the Bison with a psionic blast, it was met with another impact from psychic energy that confused it...drawing from some form of power it was not familiar with, the twelve foot tall insectoid let loose a screech as it felt it's mind assailed by another, pushed back by the psychic energy as it sought some form of escape or reinforcement. It was used to pain, pain was a familiar sensation, from it's horrid, alien creche from where it was hatched, to the countless battlefields it fought in. But this was getting too much for it to bear.
A series of transports dropped off the reinforcements it requested, Tanks and Walkers who immediately began directing themselves towards the Children as it tried to walk off it's injuries from Maugan Ra's cannon, finding that some of the shards were able to slip past it's layers of defenses and embed itself into the twelve foot tall insectoid's flesh. It needed Tiberium to restore itself, and it needed it quickly. What it didn't count on was a second barrage of hits from the Eldar, making it squeal in an alien voice in pain as it bled radioactive ichor from it's silvery body.
Another thing it didn't count on was the boy dispersing into blue tendrils of wind around the shots of it's reinforcements while the girl intercepted them with her wands and sent them casting off elsewhere before the spectacles wearing boy reformed in front of one of the tanks. The tank attempted to shift the direction of it's repulsion field, attempting to ram the teenager, but he reached out his hands and grabbed onto the Devourer Tank's front side, holding it in place. Desperate, the tank tried to force itself to the ground, make itself dead weight, but the boy then actually lifted the entire seventy ton tank over his head.
"Feat: Impossible. Human body: Incapable of it. Displayed Strength: Baffling." The Scrin said before the boy launched the vehicle at him so fast that it seemed silent before it managed to stop the tank with a telekinetic grab, pushing itself backwards and into the ground as it lowered it's telekinetic barriers to keep the tank in one place. Silent before the sonic boom hit the creature that is, pushing it backwards and opening it to a series of spells impacting it's body from the girl as she transmuted some of the vehicles into harmless objects and outright disintegrated others, while windstorms of unnatural ferocity whipped into blue tornados and chucked it's reinforcements in every which direction.
Sensing that it's mind thrall was weakening, it detected the mental presence of another being, perhaps suitable to it's needs, no...two beings. a mutated abomination which shared some of the same genetics of a powerful green creature called the hulk from which it detected revelry in newly granted freedom, and another hammer wielder. It latched onto the minds of these beings, sending new thoughts and ideas into their minds to coerce their obedience, stopping them dead in their tracks as it turned to the other attackers.
The God it couldn't fully control...his hammer was a connection to some greater power it couldn't overwhelm, but it could make him see others as enemies... but the Abomination, this Emil Blonsky, that was something it could command fully.
The Abomination, with all his mutant strength was directed to fight Ra and Bane, the Thunder God it sent to face the other psyker, while it would deal with the children personally.
"You face the god of thunder human, you had best give me a good fight!" The mentally influenced Thor said as he prepared to strike at the Space Marine.
The Abomination was wordless as it leaped to attack Bane, while the creature created bladed telekinetic tendrils to fend off the children who were relentlessly pursuing it.
"Let them go now!" John said as he batted away several telekinetic swings as Rose moved in to assist with his deflective efforts, creating magical circles that intercepted many of it's other attempted strikes.
"As he has stated, you are to release those you have kept under your thrall or we will demonstrate to you the consequences." She said as the creature fired off a disintegration ray from it's eye, which she intercepted with a white lance of energy from one of her wands.
welshhoppo wrote:The Leviathan had moved close to Raiden, its stabilising fins dragging along the floor.
Loki stood atop his tower, grinning wildly as he watched the world burned. He had hoped to have become the King of the world, but if he could watch his Brother's beloved planet die in the ceaseless chaos, he'd be quite happy with that too. He was so pleased with his own work he didn't even notice that there were several forces converging on the tower, all of them recognizing that he had some important role to play in this catastrophe.

"You face the god of thunder human, you had best give me a good fight!"
"There is only one God, and last time I checked he didn't wear a tacky cape." Authrix retorted, before the hammer flew from the man's hand, ringing violently against the Librarian's pauldron. Staggering back, he drew his own weapons, stepping into a blocking stance as the hammer flew back to the man's hand. There was something in him, his demeanor, his apparent strength, even his posture which reminded him of the wolves of Russ. Narrowing his eyes, Authrix began the Litany of honour.
"Emperor guide my hand, for the foe is unworthy of your worship, that I may best him now for your grace."
The Asgardian laughed. "Mumble more, that I may practice my aim."
Authrix connected to the Warp, as Thor spun his hammer, bolts of ethereal lightning crossing the space in an instant.
It stopped, and both rushed forwards to close the gap. The hammer came down as Authrix's sword came up, revving angrily. The two sparked, Astartes and demi god locked in a struggle of might. Even with Might of the Ancients, the Asgardian was still a match, forcing the Dark Angel from his guard. He ducked swiftly, causing Thor to over extend widely. A backhand swing tore the cape from his shoulders, leaving a large gash in his back. Authrix flicked the blood off casually. The man may be stronger, but he didn't have the skill Authrix had honed. Thor rushed in again, a massive leap Which Authrix attempted to parry, only for his sword to be forced from his grip. The blade bounced across the street, landing by a malfunctioning bot, the same one Authrix had hit earlier. He forced the Asgardian back casting Smite once more, before running to his weapon. He didn't expect the hammer again, this time thrown. The heavy impact forced him to the floor just as he reached the blade. He could feel the bot's psychic presence, and knew he had to destroy it. Thor was rushing to retrieve his weapon, forcing the Astartes to act. He thumbed the activation and sliced, opening the bot from underneath, driving his force blade into the heart of the mahcine. Something inside screamed in xenos language, and he pushed further, certain it was working. With a yell of victory, he pulled the blade free of the xenos walker, now dripping with alien ichor, before facing his opponent again. Thor stood still, Authrix waiting for him to make the first move. The auspex said he was at 85% vitality. Authrix at 90%. He pulled his bolt pistol, aiming directly at Thor's chest.
"I won't miss. Are you loyal to humanity or not?"

Atropos had garbed in inky blackness, as the mutant beast advanced upon him. The elemental raised his wards and then limbs in maddened chant as he focussed upon the abomination sent to slay him, Ra' would have to wait. The mutant was stopped in his tracks, held in Bane's foul grip. Atropos strained himself holding back the enraged giant, his insanity denying the nightmares the ability to take hold. Bane weakly cried out to 'Ra;
"Harvester! Kill the beast so that we both might survive! this"

The Abomination put his unholy might against that of the Nightmares wards, but Bane was weary from all the battles of the day without ample 'food stuff'. Each punch drove him a step back as an umbral shield absorbed the force of each strike. The Darkness looked up at Ra, perched above, watching intently, obviously analysing the new predicament. The Abomination renewed his attack shook Atropos wards to there core. The Darkness looked again to where Ra sat, but he was gone.
Ra had moved with speed thought impossible, clad in such heavy armour and wielding such a large fluted cannon scythe. But Ra was a Phoenix Lord, the epitome of eldar Martial grace and prowess, he moved like quick-silver. Landing lightly behind the Abomination soundlessly.
The Abomination stopped his assault, looking mildly confused. He stared down as thin cuts appeared across the back of his knees and bit slightly into his thigh. Small rivulets of greenish blood escaping from the deceptively deep, but surgically accurate cut. The Abomination cursed as his legs gave way under his massive augmented bulk, tendons masterfully cut. He swung at the figure of death at his shoulder, but Ra effortlessly avoided the sweeps before contemptuously kicking the creature in the back of the head, he hit the floor hard. ''Scarcely better then an Ork. Strength but no Skill.''
Ra turned to Atropos, trying to understand the connection he felt to the Darkness. ''You are an evil thing, inherently and infinitely. But this is as much my realm as it is yours daemon, and this is no place to place judgement. You will meet your reckoning creature, but you will help me understand what is happening here first. Then you will understand death as we Eldar do. Do we have an accord, creature of the Dark?''. Ra sent these thoughts spiralling out, he did not think in words but in intensions. any creature could understand that.

"We have an accord....elder one. This place's current condition, is from what I can tell, the machinations of a powerful mage. How he managed to raise such a series of portals without tearing this plain asunder is beyond me, but his actions seem to have resonated across the material realm. All forms of universal barrier are gone, and soon, I predict that it will end in the universes and plains of reality crashing down into one single, shared reality. If we wish for further answers, then we must go to the source. I believe that the mage has opened such doorways from there." Atropos pointed an arched finger towards the centre of the city, where a single structure was dwarfed by a massive portal, a tear in reality. "If we can confront the mage, we might learn more. He is apparently known to this realm as the god Loki, though dare he oppose us he will learn why I am the one who bring the gods nightmares."

Maugan Ra Laughted Sardonically. ''Your reasoning is sound, we shall head for the eye of the storm. This realm has such petty gods! That one plays with a hammer like a child and this one is a god trying to play god with borrowed power, where I come from gods rip souls asunder and drown worlds in blood, how standards drop. We should teach these 'divine' creatures that immortality is no protection from the doom We, the Harvesters can bring.''
Ra stepped nimbly over the prone form of the Abomination, before walking casually towards the centre tower adorn with the name 'Stark' at the side of his erstwhile enemy. Ra wanted answers, his enmity could wait.

Atropos advanced after 'Ra, the elemental seemed to shine with glee; "Then we are agreed, a quick foray into the lions den will treat us with the answers we desire and deserve. I suggest when then seek out the saviour, dare she attempt to fell us when her delusions of grandeur go wrong! I am not doubtful that once she finds that you and I have decided upon a temporary cease fire in the hope of progress, instead of continuing a war not meant for this plain, she will dispatch her servants to remove us from the equation."

"Defeat: Inevitable. Solution: Withdraw." The Scrin said, the insectoid abomination activating it's teleporters as it realized it was defeated, disappearing in a sudden flash and relinquishing control over it's puppets.
"Whew..." John said as he slung his hammer over his back and Rose placed her needlewands at her sides.
The Abomination lay there, groaning in pain as his body healed. Despite his healing factor however, he was unlikely to be getting up any time soon after the thorough thrashing Maugan Ra had dealt to him. Thor on the other hand, seemed to have a haze lifted from his eyes and an intense headache settling over him.
"Odin's beard...what happened, I remember being so, angry." He said as he staggered to his feet, acknowledging the Space Marine.
"Never have I been bested by a mortal...you fight well armored one." He said, still groggy from the beating he took from the Marine.
The Guardsmen looked over the prone figure of the Abomination and seemed to argue what to do with him, he was obviously some kind of hideous mutant and he should not be suffered to live during the purification of this world, but yet if the Eldar was telling the truth and their auspexes were right, the most severe sort of disruption was coming from that tower.
Thor wiped the blood from his mouth as he spoke. "My brother is on that tower...the Skull faced one speaks the truth, he is the one who opened the first portals, and he must have had something to do with the new ones. He wishes to rule over man as a god again, he wants nothing more than to see humanity suffer to spite me." Thor said as he regained his senses.
"Because Odin always favored you at his expense?" Rose said, the teenaged goddess of light and fortune floating over him.
"Yes, and in my arrogance I drove him to this. But I will see him brought home where he can face Asgardian justice." He said, doing a double take at the fact that this person was just a child really.
"I can get us there quickly!" John offered, gusts of wind seeming to form at his command.
"Hold on and I'll make some gusts to bring us to the tower." He said as he spun up whirlwinds with his thoughts, the rapidly forming pillars of wind attempting to pick up Maugan Ra, Bane, and Authrix to lift them up as he and Rose took off under their own power, with Thor following in their wake to the tower.
-----------Senator Armstrong-------------
After suplexing a Scrin Tripod into oblivion, the Senator was standing for an adhoc press conference, flanked by the winds of destruction.
"My fellow Americans, I know you'll find this hard to believe, but me and my associates from another universe, and we're here to help. We'll help clean these streets of aliens and find ways to support these vigilantes in their efforts to stop superpowered crime. We'll help to clean up this city, find you new homes and jobs once the alien menace to our shores is dealt with. Then we'll ensure the world learns to trust America again when we save them from this terror from the stars. But I'll need your support to do it. We'll need to work as one to fight the aliens. And once that happens, I'll fight to keep war off your shores." He said, with some of the journalists who had flooded the city to get the latest scoop of the action bombarding him with questions, but he picked out one that interested him.
"Mr.Armstrong, how exactly are you so powerful? Some analysts say that you might even be stronger than the Hulk or Abomination." He asked, which prompted him to grin as the winds chuckled among themselves.
"Nanomachines, son."
---------------------Loki--------------------
Laufeyson surveyed the destruction like a King watching his enemies burn. His Chitauri army, bolstered by a stream of powerful Frost Giants he had managed to coax of Jotunheim via learning more of the Tesseract's power from the other entities that opened the portal, were busily razing everything they could come across while fighting against countless new armies and the native population of the world. Some reports of the natives coming to an alliance with some of the other armies may have worried him, but he was too confident in his success.
The Scrin Mastermind, 94172, teleported to his side, obviously injured. "Enemies: Strong. Alliance: Threatened. Require: Regroup." The Insectoid said as it limped along, it's regenerative powers kicking in to help seal some of it's painful wounds from the battle.
"Oh I expect them to be strong. All the better for when this world sees them broken." He said as the Scrin observed him through it's single eye, skepticism apparent in it's mannerism.
"The humans are not to be underestimated." Another, deeper, snarling voice said, prompting Loki to turn to another one of his benefactors; Megatron, who had offered the aid of his Decepticon army in this new war.
"Nor are they to be overestimated. They will fold before our numbers in time." He grinned, he had reclaimed his scepter, both the one he wielded at Asgard and the new one forged by Thanos, and he felt much more ready to confront any comers.

''Let the godling come, but let it be known she has made no enemy of me, yet. Her shining blade and armour remind me of my brothers, her ferocity of my sister. Yet she is as arrogant as only a human can be, fighting her own war where it has no place. She will not stand in our way if she wishes to be in any fine state to continue her own deluded war.''
They approached the building without unnecessary duress, walking through a war zone as only two shadows of death could. Ra silently dispatched Aliens as if it amused him, while Bane indiscriminately murdered, obviously enjoying the startled look on the Chitaries faces before they met there end. Soon they stood in the shadow of the Stark building, beneath a gaping hole in reality that belched forth Alien armies. The Fighting had passed by this place, Ra thought strangely, and he stepped out of the shadows towards the door of smashed glass. Ra stopped, he felt a change in the winds, this was to easy.

Raiden had managed to gain some control over the Leviathan and was able to pull it higher into the sky. Doktor had told him that there was a massive surge of energy at the top of this tower, near this tower happened to be a God. If Raiden could close the energy portal, then it might cause a cascade that could close all of the portals. Raiden whipped his mount to greater speeds, the massive beast flying high over the battlefield below.
There was Prophet, somewhere down there. Raiden knew that Armstrong was nearby, but there also seemed to be a few other Gods running around the battlefield. A heavily armoured soldier that stood eight feet tall was blasting lightning from his fingertips. A hammer welding maniac was also causing mayhem. Raiden had no interest in the on going battle, this wasn't his universe and he wanted to go home.
Raiden wasn't able to stop the creature, so it ploughed through the building sending massive chunks of concrete and glass tumbling to the floor. Raiden jumped off his steed and jammed his sword into the side of the wall. Once he got his grip he launched himself up, and began to run up the side of his tower, lightning burst from his feet. He was still a far distance to the top, but was making good progress.
A few minutes later he had reached the top of this Stark Tower. Surrounded by a forcefield was some kind of device blasting energy into the upper atmosphere. But standing right next to it was Loki himself.

The building shook, giving way to the impact of the leviathan as it embedded itself into stark tower, making Loki stumble as he directed his allies to hide for the upcoming confrontation.
Loki immediately turned to face the new comers, staff in his hands. "So you are the newcomers causing so much trouble in my new domain." Loki said, hiding his newfound allies out of sight with his magic.
"Loki, you must stop this madness, for all our sakes. Come home with me brother." Thor said.
"Home? So that I can be in your shadow again? No, these humans need me to lead them. They need a God to lord over them, to protect them from themselves." Loki smiled, twirling his second staff as he did so.
"Such statements are typically those utilized by Tyrants attempting to justify their deeds." Rose said with a frown.
"Ah, they told me that you had quite the mouth on you, little Goddess. Rose, isn't it? How you've consorted with darker powers to disaster before being forged anew into a mistress of the light" He said with a predatory grin on his face, Rose's face briefly flashing some disconcertation as she was taken aback by his knowledge of them. .
"Who's they?" John said, Prophet and Samus arriving on the building shortly as they converged around Loki.
"The ones who brought you here. Even greater than my old benefactor. They hunger beyond spaces, always looking for the newest feast to continue the cycle." Loki explained, gesturing grandly as if he were putting on a performance.
"What cycle?" The nanosuit clad prophet asked, the posthuman warrior clutching his gun as John prepared his hammer, glowing with a rainbow nimbus of energy.
"So it seems someone has a hammer greater than even Mjolnir. But what are you? A child elevated to godhood over the wind and breath by a cosmic game? An orphan confused by his hormones and power?" Loki snorted, John stepping back in confusion that someone he'd never met would know so much about him before turning to Prophet.
"You call yourself prophet, and yet you seek so many answers." Loki laughed as he turned to the Eldar.
"You may slay me, break me, torment me, But this won't be the end, this is just the beginning of a nightmare that shall span all things." He laughed, perhaps unhinged from what he had been exposed to.
"Your emperors, your ideals, your gods, they will fall before me, before them. You have nothing to frighten me." He cackled.
"Warriors of dying civilizations that don't have the drive to breed like proper cattle, servants of a dessicated corpse on a golden toilet blinded by dogma, nightmares of unknown gods known only to the obsessive, soldiers for a cause they don't believe in, mere children elevated to deityhood and orphaned by a simple game, a fighter for a country that doesn't trust him against forces he can't comprehend, an orphaned girl from a dead world raised by aliens and implanted with their genes only to be orphaned again, a spoiled, coddled brat of a brother. You all have nothing to oppose me with!" He said as his smile widened.

With a silver toothed grin he sung the words to a foul chant, his body twitching and shuddering as an unatrual light seeped from the Elemental, almost as if he was possessed. Bane's chant became a mix of gurgling, screaming and slurping as he threw his arms back and pulled Loki to the ground as he began his fiendish grip. "You won't stop them. Megatron, 94712, I call upon you!" Loki said, prompting the two to appear once again, decloaking out of nowhere.
"Come forward you little insects." Megatron said, bullrushing those he perceived to be warriors primarily reliant on Strength, gunning for John, Prophet, and Thor. The massive detonation of his fusion cannon heralded a blue-white ball of nuclear energy as he swung a fist at them, overpowering and knocking aside Thor and Prophet as John caught a massive pincer swing from above, demonstrating unnatural strength
The Scrin, this time more wise of it's foe, then attacked the primarily cerebral opponents, lashing out at Rose, Authrix, and Bane via it's telekinetic bladed tendrils, forming telekinetic whips and sharpening them like swords while it's disintegration eye fired purple beams, sweeping them across the area as it sought vengeance for it's prior humiliation, it then called forth more buzzer swarms, the living razor shards swarming around it to form extra armor and weaponry.
"Now for the rest of you." Loki said, gunning for Raiden, Ra, Savior, and Samus, sending forth a spinning crescent arc of blue-white tesseract energy from his glowing staff while the other launched forth a fireball of asgardian power, the trickster god then forming a series of mirror images to confuse his opponents as he launched into his attack. Loki was however, beset by nightmares as he pulled back, his mirror images becoming more faded and distorted as he tried to shake off the mental violation from bane.

Raising his own kine shield, Authrix blunted the walker's assault with but a thought.
"This again? We have no time. You there," he spoke to Rose and Bane, all the while fending off the psychic predations of the foe. "I shall hold it back if you can kill it. Then I move for the robed one. I will not suffer such an affront to the Emperor's name."

"I believe we can handle this alien. His psychic offensives are very blunt and unsubtle. Deal with Loki, and remind him to never talk ill of my Mother again." She said as she halted the advances of the creature's telekinetic stabbing implements with a series of iron walls she conjured from thin air before advancing them forward.
"Surrender: Demanded. Injuries: Healed." It reported as Rose smirked after receiving some information from her foresight, that she was about to receive critical information.
"You, Rose, the Scrin are based on Tiberium, a dynamic crystalline proton lattice, highly radioactive, mutagenic, and assimilative. But it's weak to harmonic frequencies which disrupt the lattice." He said as he shot at Megatron's leg, currently stomping down on Thor while John was holding off both of the Decepticon Tyrant's arms.
With a wave of her wand, she opened her mouth and let loose a piercing, magic enhanced sonic shriek that covered the Scrin in a series of concentric sonic waves, causing the already disoriented creature to immediately begin spasming as cracks formed in it, making it wobble around as it stumbled and eventually fell off stark tower.
"He's not dead, but he won't be bothering us any time soon."

The carnage ensuing in this realm has gotten the attention of the Blood God Khorne, and he was pleased. If there's one thing he likes more than anything, it's when large numbers of mortals die in one place at one time.
Thinking that he could make some contribution to this pandemonium himself, he tasks his sacred executioner, Skulltaker, to lead a daemonic warband into the realm to spill blood and claim skulls in his name.
There were many powerful forces to be faced here, but Skulltaker always loves a challenge. Mounting a Blood Throne Chariot, he raises his blade, rallying his regiment of Bloodletters, Bloodcrushers, Flesh Hounds, and Skull Cannoneers to battle before riding in the lead through the portal that Khorne opened for them out of the Realm of Chaos and into this new war-torn world.
The lesser daemons immediately got to work on the basic soldiers, no-name disposable heroes who the warp spawn sliced, decapitated, dismembered, and disemboweled in a blur of red. Skulltaker himself rode forth on his chariot seeking a more worthy opponent for himself, cutting down any lesser mortals who got in his way. He cared not who the opponent was or for what they fought for; he was there for one thing only:
Skulls for the Skullthrone!

Raiden threw a knife at Loki as he made his attack forward. Doktor had warned him to be careful as Gods can be a little bit unpredictable in their actions. But Raiden felt somewhat safe fighting along side an Armoured Grim Reaper, an Angel and a soldier in a power suit. Due to the fact that Raiden only had his blade, he would have to close the distance. But even at that short range, there was a good chance that Raiden had the Edge on Loki in pure speed.
Hacking and slashing, Raiden was able to put Loki on the back foot with his tremendous speed. The Asgardian has no true way to deflect the power of the blows. However, Loki sent out a massive psychic attack which flung Raiden back and sent him skidding along the floor. Shaking his head down, Raiden marched back in again. He had no intention of killing Loki, the man may be psychotic but it seemed to be more to the fact that he was mental unhinged rather than being plain evil.
Raiden forced Loki to block a blow with one of his Staffs, which Raiden then took advantage off. With no actual cutting blade, Raiden forced the staff away and then made a grab for it. After forcibly heaving the staff away from Loki, accompanied by a almighty kick to the groin. Raiden grabbed the staff and held it over his knee.
"Don't do it! Don't break the staff!" Loki shouted as he jumped forward for it, but it was too late and Raiden cracked the staff in two.

Ra could feel the build up of energy released. The Tesseract energy spiralled out of the broken staff, Ra set his stance, stabilizers locking. But Raiden and Samus where not so prepared, and they where knocked violently from there feet. Loki flipped back over the energy, scorching the end of his divine hair. It hit Ra like a tidal wave, but Ra was a stone, and the water bent around him.
''You fool, you ignorant, stupid fool!. You know not what you do, or who's plan you try to foil!'' Loki picked up the fallen bladed end of his broken sceptre, the power fading but still deadly sharp. Loki advanced with murder in his eyes towards the downed Raiden, stunned from the massive output of energy. Loki was standing above Raiden and brought the bladed stave down upon his throat. The Blade was stopped mere centimeters from Raidens throat, for it had been blocked by the long, thin blade of Ra's Maugetar. Loki looked up with rage in his eyes, and turned his attensions to the interfering reaper. Ra blocked frantically, never had he faced such a foe that battered all his defences at once as magical doppelgangers surrounded him. Ra was the eye of the storm, standing in place, turning frantically to block every strike coming his way with desperate skill and every so often lashing out at Loki, only for the shadow double to disappear. Ra needed help.

Azwraith, having finally worked out which realm he was meant to travel though, stepped out of the reflective waters of his fountain, and gazed up at his Ancient. He had often wondered what the exact purpose of defending and attacking rival Ancients was, although this was seemingly not the time to think those pseudo-philosophical thoughts. The pikeman stepped forward, and lifted his blade, and stepped forward, and out of the rubble that had once been a subway station. Steeling himself, he created a pair of phantoms, exact replicas of the true Phantom Lancer, to scout out the area ahead. Thankfully, they did not have to go far before discovering Atropos, placing Loki into his personal nightmare. The pikeman rushed forward, eager to ambush Bane while he was still engaged.

Authrix dispelled the energy around himself, clearing the swirling entropy to find the Phoenix Lord desperately trying to hold off a veritable swarm of Lokis. Without hesitation, he extended his Veil of Time, diving into combat beside the Eldar.
"Strike fast, that we might end this madness!" He blade whirled around, parrying away another clone as Ra cleaved another in two.
"Why do you assist, human?"
"You're useful. One of us dies, we all do." He fired his pistol into another Loki, which darted out of the bullet's path. "We'll return to our realm together, or not at all. Until then, I guess we're allies of convenience."

Megatron, having managed to keep Prophet pinned down from fire from his fusion shotgun and Thor firmly under his treaded boot, did not quite anticipate that John was able to overpower his pincer arm, actually forcing it back as he pushed against it, motors and actuators squealing as they struggled against divinely powered and rather lean muscles. "What are you?" The Decepticon Despot asked as he arm buckled and the teenaged boy actually forced him down onto a knee, continuing to push forward until Megatron's pincer arm was as far back as it could go.
"I'm the Heir of Breath. I'm John!" He said as he then sent forth massive coils and tendrils of blue wind, spiraling at impossible speeds as they grabbed megatron by his silvery armor and shoved him off the building, actually picking him up and carrying him before launching him as if he was shot out of a cannon.
Turning to Thor, he picked up his hammer and rushed at Loki, swinging Mjolnir in one hand to knock the wind out of Loki and hitting him with Vrillyhoo in the very next moment to bash him into the ground.
Before Loki could get away, the Hammer summoned a guilotine out of nowhere, which Loki was forced to bring his other staff around to protect his neck, throwing off the Guillotine as Samus got back up and cracked her neck.
Circling around him with incredible speed, her body adjusting to Gravity nine hundred times lighter than what she was used to, she fired off freezing rays of cold from her Ice beam as Loki tried to turn to deal with Authrix, sending forth a blue-white bolt at him before Prophet smacked him in the back of his neck, decloaking as he backed away and shot him in the back with a gauss round, the hypersonic bullet knocking him towards Rose to be stabbed in the gut and then rooted in place as a spell was cast to wrap the concrete around his feet.
Coming in from Nowhere was the Hulk and Senator Armstrong, the first grabbed Loki in his massive hands and threw him across the pavement with a mighty heave, sending him in a painful roll before Armstrong came in leaping from the other side to kick him into the middle of the group before he managed to pick himself up and stare down all the people attacking him.
"Enough! You are all of you beneath me! I am a God you dull creatures, and I will not be bullied b-ACK!" he said as the great green hulk just grabbed him and slammed him repeatedly into the ground, swinging him by his feet before tossing him to Armstrong who intercepted him with a fist to the God's face, then an uppercutting gut punch to send Loki upwards into the air before hitting him with a hammerfist to smash him into the ground.
"Puny god." Hulk scoffed as he went to look for a better fight, nodding at Armstrong.
"W...wha?" Loki said as Armstrong pushed up his glasses, News copters having followed him and caught the whole thing on Camera.
"Just saving America. Managed to tell the Hulk where you were and told him you were a good fight. Me? I wanted to see what kinda stuff gods were made of. I ain't impressed." Armstrong said with a feral grin.
Loki just let out a long wheeze as he managed to pick himself up, still groggy from the extreme beat down he received. Now was the time to finish him off.

Bane broke from his channel as Lancer moved towards him, the elemental snarling as he cast Nightmare upon the charging Lancer, before pushing back into the assault on Loki. "You will all burn when they come from beyond the true void. Like a legion of nightmares they shall devour your realities. They are the" He said before some force started to make him choke, as if saying "their" very name was something that could not be allowed. Whatever they were, "they" had no small amount of power to be able to perceive and act upon someone attempting to reveal the full nature of their existence quite quickly.
Given the foaming at the mouth he was doing, it was probably for the best that he be put down as his body began to undergo fatal spasms. Death would be a mercy given the slow, painful shutting down of the body he was undergoing.
"Who are "They"?" Prophet asked, raising a question that many had on their minds.
"Whoever "they" are, they are capable of disguising themselves from the magic I use to pierce through the veil of obscurity, as well as my own divinely granted ability to perceive the golden road to the optimal path. All I can see are images of endless terror, screaming, and the deaths of whole realities." Rose said, briefly closing her eyes.
"That sounds...really heavy." John said with a frown.

Raiden finally awoke from his injury, the force of the blast had ripped him to shreds, but his body was on the mend. Lifting himself to his feet he carefully walked over to the fallen Loki, who had managed to lose his leg and was beginning to lose his life.
Raiden contemplated putting an end to his life then and there, but after looking at the warriors gathered around him like children at a dying grandparent's death bed, Raiden decided that killing him now, would probably cost him his own life.

''We are losing him, Thor. Make your peace with him, kinsmen deserve a finality my race was never granted.'' Ra turned away from the team, knowing there was no more to be gained from such a fractured mind as Loki's. But he had a lead, a trail to follow, that hopefully lead to Home, to Altansar. Ra stepped out of the bubble of distorted time, feeling his insides turn with the usual effects of temporal displacement. Ra saw the faintest flicker of movement, and raised the bladed edge of the Maugetar to deflect a sharp harpoon hurled at his face.
Yet another strange combatant, would this day never cease to throw trouble his way? Several identical creatures prowled towards the Darkness, Ra had had by far enough of doubles for one day. Bane swung curse and hex at the dopplegangers, but when he caught one he would simply step out of himself, creating yet another double to assail the him. Ra sighed heavily before casually pointing his massive fluted cannon towards the melee before announcing.
''Stop this at once. Bane has proven himself useful to me, to me getting home, and you will not endanger that. Lower your weapon and announce yourself, or you will make an enemy that is not wise to make an enemy of.''

Turning to him, Samus noted the damage to his system. "I could send you some Energy from my shielding, give your repair systems a boost." She said as Loki started to foam at the mouth. As his life started to fade, a beam reached down from above, piercing down from Asgard as Odin sought to reclaim his sons and save them from this nightmare world, with Prophet noting the broken scepter and moving to jab it into the portal beam issuing forth from the tesseract.
But as he did so, a piercing shriek went through the world. New portals opened up, showing a vast space station...well, vast by those who weren't from space faring civilizations, to the Imperials and Eldar it would be nothing special, but to it's inhabitants, whether they were aliens, keepers, humans, or the occasional shackled robot it was known only as....
...The Citadel...
However, some forces were then spread out across the mass effect galaxy as the portals dragged them in, though the newly formed group of heroes remained intact. Some of the forces remained on Earth behind them.
The heroes that had brought down Loki were brought to the citadel, while the villains were scattered about. Armstrong had been brought to that universe's Earth, and the Citadel found itself surrounded by Imperial ships now, along with a substantial number of guardsmen, now increased from before, along with U.S armymen, spread across it.
Furthermore, each and every person in this dimensional clash would feel, inexplicably more powerful, more potent than they were before in every way.
The people closest, a bunch of Turians, looked at the group and promptly dropped their drinks before backing away and running while the Guardsmen started to panic with so many xenos, worse yet, Xenos who lived with Humans in peace.
"What sort of heretical madness is this place!?!" One of the Guardsmen shouted as he warily pointed his lasgun at the aliens as Security forces were brought in.

“The nightmare begins, anew!”
Speeding into the crowded bar, Atropos cackled in joy as he shot a jolt of black lightning into the fleeing crowd. None seemed to be armed, or even vaguely aware of what was occurring as Bane sucked the life from some or sapped the strength from others. Alarms blared while the Elemental trailed his inky form outside of the bar, seeking more victims to fuel the nightmare.

Raiden was alone again. He had been transported to some kind of space station. He could see the stars from the small portal beside him that led into the unknown.
"I wonder if anyone else made it." He said, his body was still very weak from Loki's blast. His codec was silent for the moment, apparently Doktor was not so quick in following him this time.
Raiden slowly slugged along the corridors of the vessel for what seemed like an age, he appeared to be in the vast maintenance areas away from the rest of the crew, so for the most part he was entirely alone. Occasionally a small creature would come out of the blood and make themselves busy, but Raiden paid them no heed, as they seemed to be repairing parts of the vessel.
Raiden was oblivious to the mayhem that was occurring on other parts of the vessel until he heard a mysterious, but familiar noise. Raiden turned around, and was more than a little bit shocked.
Hulking behind him, slime drooling from his massive maw, was the same Carnifex that Raiden had defeated earlier. He had somehow managed to mend the damage to his leg, although he still appeared a little limp in the foot. Raiden was in no shape to fight him again, so he began to make a run for it. The rampaging Carnifex trundled after him like a runwaway train. Smashing down walls and buckling doors. Some of the small aliens got in the way of the beast, and the Carnifex crushed them as those they didn't exist. Despite all the speed that Raiden had in him, the Carnifex was blisteringly quick. Eventually though he seemed to outrun him, and Raiden paused for a while to catch his breath in a massive computer room.
But as luck would have it, the beast tore his way though the wall, running at Raiden with all his power. Raiden stood his ground, darting to the side just as the Carnifex was about to catch his prey. The great beast skidded until it ploughed deep into the computer. A massive electrically surge stunned the creature, and for the second time today he was out cold. Just as Raiden was about to breathe a sigh of relief, a noise could be heard over the speaker system.
"Warning, Life Support system disabled, life support is failing."
"Oh, crap." Raiden said as he looked at the wreckage of the life support system.

Having found most of his would be opponents unworthy, Skulltaker finally came across the Hulk lumbering away from the remains of Loki. "He'll do.", he thought to himself having missed most of the carnage already. He stepped down from his chariot and ran at the Hulk, plunging his sword into his back.
The Hulk, having settled down after Loki's defeat before, returned to a state of rage. With the Hulk's body flailing furiously, Skulltaker is thrown off but lands on his feet.
"Now that I've got your attention...", he said officially challenging the green behemoth, "...Let's see who's stronger."
"You won't like me when I'm angry!", replied the Hulk. The stabwound from Skulltaker's sword ignited with a daemonic flame. His face grimaced from the pain, but otherwise he didn't show any sign of weakness.
Skulltaker issued a sinister laugh. "On the contrary!", he said. "I like you so much more when you're angry!"

Atropos's mere presence seemed to have an effect on the citadels inhabitants, their movements and actions were hampered by the sense of the Elemental gnawing at their minds, hungry for their fear. Ra dropped from service shaft above Banes head, leading bodily upon the ground with a distinct thud. Ra looked up at the service hatch and flipped a crystal stone upwards, tiny human hands darted out and caught it, before the duct rat scurried off.
''The depraved can be useful when they have nothing to lose. This place is like my home, yet so different. Aliens live together in peace like under the tyranny of the Tau ethereal caste, it is sickening. Life supports are failing, and I do not understand the technology. There has been no sign of the others and I am at a loss to comprehend these beings who are subservient to other races. So I guess that leaves us little room, but to stall, and enjoy the moment.'' Ra swivelled the Maugetar onto some fleeing aliens, some of them even tried to raise weapons at Ra, but they all fell silently as perfectly place shurikans severed there wind pipe. This may seem wanton and cruel, but there was a reason Ra was the 'Harvester of souls'.

"Oh, crap." Raiden said as he looked at the wreckage of the life support system.
The entire citadel was in panic as every effort was made to get the denizens away from the carnage. However, Raiden managed to receive a line from Samus. "You're not easy to track down, you know that right?" She said over the comms, somewhat playfully teasing him over how easy it was for him to get lost.
"I'm reading some major energy surges in your room...You alright?" Prophet said over the communications, having appeared with Samus and her small fleet of gunships along with John and Rose.
"From what I'm getting from S.E.C.O.N.D, this place is called "The Citadel", but it wasn't built by the people using it. They say it was built by a precursor species called the "Protheans". It's about forty four kilometers from end to end and currently there's a lot of havoc going down. The Imperial Guard is on edge, they're not happy that humans here live in peace with aliens and think that something has to be up." He said, looking over his data read outs.
Samus then entered the station and checked the damaged life support before looking at the Cyborg, a frown under her helmet.
"You know...this system, for something built by a precursor species, is actually quite primitive despite it's appearances. Give me a moment to fix it and keep anything that might also be lurking in here off my back." She said to Raiden as examined the system and had her ships drop off some parts, activating the cutting and welding function of her thermal plasma beam to enact repairs and weld in fresh systems.
Coming in soon afterwards was Prophet, who left the kids to guard the outside areas, apparently they could breathe in space...and talk too...that didn't make much sense to him but oh well.
Checking the armor systems of some of the dead crew members, his suit found some useful technology.
"Analyzing....Useful upgrades detected...designated, "Mass effect" system, "Kinetic barrier" system, "Gravitic weapon propulsion" system, "Omnigel" system, "Medigel" system, assimilating." His suit said as it's nanite systems actually started to eat parts of the armor suit, worming it's way into the useful technology, analyzing it, consuming it, and doing it's best to replicate it and add it into his suit.
"Kinetic barriers, added, new weapon modifications available, new nano-modules available, improved self repair and user health systems available, Omnigel and Medigel compatability, available." His suit droned.
"Samus?" He asked as she started welding.
"Already got what little was useful to me off of them. My suit's way ahead of their tech level." She said as her arm cannon lanced into the damaged systems, putting in new, repaired modules.
"Raiden, I think I could help you incorporate this new tech into your system...most of it's not at your level sure, but the kinetic barriers should be useful at least." He said as he rolled a shoulder.
"Anyway...looks like you need a top-up of energy...have this K-volt battery and their "Omnigel", it should help repair you." He said, throwing a canister of omnigel taken from a dead security chief and then a battery from his electric K-volt gun.
"Hey...did you feel any stronger when you got in here too?" He asked as he checked the perimeter for any unwanted surprises.

Raiden popped the omnigel in his grip and was glad to feel the energy surge through him. Red lightning crackled at his finger tips as his body returned to it's full power level.
"Curse Doktor for giving me a suit that is so reliant on outside energy. It was only supposed to be used for short term missions." Raiden said, he nodded at Prophet for the present.
"As for feeling stronger, well". Raiden braced his left hand and jabbed it into the wall. The wall burst away under his fist, leaving a gaping hole. "Definitely stronger, I feel like I could bench press EXCELSUS."
"But why are we here, is Loki still around?"
"Nobody has seen him." Prophet replied.
"I met some crazy people in my life, but he has to top the cake." Raiden replied.
A klaxon sounded and it was quickly followed by the sounds of footsteps. It looked like trouble had found them and was on the way to greet them now.

"Think he was telling the truth about them? The Ulutraxi?" Prophet said as he kept watch with his nanovision.
"A species that harvests entire realities? It's rather far-fetched but quite possible...I can't see why they'd bring us together though." Samus said
C-sec burst into the room guns blazing, though unfortunately their weapons, while advanced for Modern Earth standards, were rather unsuited for taking on three super soldiers.
Samus didn't even notice as the bullets bounced off her shielding, or at least if she did, she simply ignored them as she continued to try and repair the life support system.
Prophet, with his new kinetic barriers, improved and multiplied from the versions used by the dead C-sec troopers, managed to tank some of the hits before getting into cover and firing away with his K-volt, sending electricity that completely bypassed their barriers into them and causing the Turians to flop to the ground dead.
"From what we can tell, they're supposed to be the good guys...but they're on edge. This mess has them spooked." He said as he got off some more shots.
"Their shields don't block energy attacks, and they all carry plenty of electrical systems and omnigel for you to use. Have at it." Samus said as she started to finish her repairs.

Azwraith stumbled again, the remenants of Bane's Nightmare still gnawing away at his mind. The pikeman was now bearing the brunt of the nightmare, as it ate away at sanity. Grimly, he sat down, and pulled his diffusal blade out of it's sheath. Placing it in his lap, he closed his eyes, and diffused himself with the blades power, purging the nightmare.
His scream was heard for leagues around.

Before he could reach the angel, Skulltaker felt himself vanishing from the realm. Khorne was removing him and his legion from that world. Despite his sour disappointment, he knew better than to question the Blood God's commands.
The flame on the Hulk's back flickered and died leaving only a scar.
Back on the Brass Citadel in the Realm of Chaos, Skulltaker and his force deposited the skulls of those who they did manage to slay. Khorne was not angry at his servants, but he was disappointed at having sent them in at a late stage of the pandemonium that ensued in that realm. However, he sensed carnage developing in a totally new realm and whisked Skulltaker and his force away so that they may cash in on the chaos earlier.
He sent Skulltaker into this realm alone. Landing on an overlook on a supermassive space station of sorts, he noticed a gunfight ensuing below him. Skulltaker was no coward, but he knew that charging directly at massed fire would get him nowhere as the people of this realm seemed to favor guns. Khorne then bestowed a gift on Skulltaker to give him an edge: rapid firing beams shot from the daemon's eyes, no stronger than the small arms fire from the mortals' guns below, but much more accurate due to Skulltaker's sharp sight.
He was soon confronted by some Asari C-sec personnel. Guns trained on him, they commanded he drop his weapon.

Atropos and 'Ra advanced through the citadels hallways, before arriving in the centre of a sprawling mall like area, where it appeared that the structures inhabitants had yet to realise the existence of new arrivals. Bane was first to open fire, cutting down several of the citizens before the blare of the alarms began to echo throughout the chamber. Quickly, C-sec special response units began to pour into the chamber, a varied group of numerous species and xenos armed with basic weaponry.

"Walking vending machines." Raiden said as he walked among those sent to kill him. Bullets couldn't touch him and he was the harbinger of death.
His blade cut through their flesh like it was butter, he sliced the arm clean off the first man, before severing his spine with a brutal second slice. Another tried to make a grab for him, Raiden grabbed him by the throat and broke his neck with a flick of his wrist, he threw the man backwards with enough force to turn his shattered body into pulp.
This was going to be a good battle, Raiden smiled as he hacked a bloody path of destruction.

Skulltaker took the Asari's disarmament demand as a challenge. He stood calmly for a second before shooting his fiery gaze at them. Biotic shields prevented serious damage, but the daemonic flashes did disorient them. Following through, he darted forward slashing the blue skinned aliens with his daemonic blade, their biotic shield being useless against his flaming sword of daemonic rage.
One was left standing. She tried to disorient him with a biotic blast, but Skulltaker felt no effect on him; Khorne's blessing has made his champion resistant to the effects of psykers and the Asari's abilities were weak. In one swing, the tentacled head was severed from the body in a shower of purple blood.
After collecting the skulls, Skulltaker sprinted off into the station, eventually coming across another gunfight in what looked like a shopping mall area.

''This is sport! There is no challenge among chattel.'' Ra laughed as his powered scythe practically cut one of the Citadels security in half, the powered blade cutting through force shield and armour as if it was paper. Viscera was flung everywhere as Ra made another lightning movement, bisecting some newly arrived guards, Ra felt invincible. He was faster, impossibly so, moving before the humans could register the already lightning fast elder, and stronger to, while the Xenos primitive weaponry was useless against Ra's armour. Ra was originally using his Megetar, but swiftly grew tired of entire waves of souls being broken as psy-shard shurikans cut through body and bone with ease. Ra wondered what the shielding was even for, because it offered little protection to Ra and Bane. Ra swung back and forth in tight arcs, a whirl wind of gore. ''While slaughtering lesser breeds has always been a pass time of mine, what purpose brings us here you think Bane? Are there anymore gods to vanquish, cities to flatten? I feel like I could accomplish anything!''

Observing the gun battle, Skulltaker saw the C-sec engaging a pack of ravenous aliens: the vorcha of the Blood Pack gang. Despite their limited intellect evident from their simple running forward and shooting tactics, Skulltaker sensed a savage rage among these aliens and saw an opportunity. Like the Orks, these aliens most likely follow the strongest member of their gang. If he could find and kill this individual, a cult to Khorne in this realm could be established which would further expand the Blood God's influence.
Both C-sec and the Blood Pack packed a lot of heavy fire power though and the Daemon Champion would have to whittle down the C-sec numbers to accurately pick out the leader of the Blood Pack. Though not exactly his style, Skulltaker chose to make a series of hit and run attacks at C-sec. Running forward, he cut down three men before dashing into an abandoned store to evade incoming fire. He made his way to the back of the store, rounds deflecting off his armor and barely dodging a rocket propelled grenade.
Going through the back rooms of the shops, he found his way back to the main hallway of the mall where the gunfight against the vorcha continued. Skulltaker repeated this process several times before C-sec decided to fall back.
The Blood Pack advanced but did not fire upon Skulltaker to his surprise. A lumbering figure, larger and bulkier than the rest of the aliens, clad in much heavier looking armor, and wielding a high caliber machine gun approached the Daemon.
"I am Weyrloc Ventnor and I lead this bloodthirsty pack of parasites.", spoke the krogan warlord.
"Well, that was easy.", Skulltaker thought to himself.
"You've got a quad cutting in on our action, you weird looking alien.", said Ventnor. "What do you want?"
Raising his blade again, the daemon replied "I want your skull and I want your warband."

A siren went throughout the entirety of the citadel to signal that it was under attack, though not by those who were rampaging on it, no, something else. Something that the Citadel was so terrified of it started to make the preparations to close it's petal bloom like structure to stop them from getting in.
To those with access to viewports or the various screens and holoprojectors showing what was going on outside the citadel in the serpent nebula, they would see a massive number of ships suddenly stop from some sort of faster than light system, or more correctly, decelerate out from it, and begin bull rushing towards the Citadel, brushing aside the fleet guarding it as they moved in for the kill.
The largest of these ships, roughly the size of a particularly large escort by the standards of the natives of Ra or Skulltaker's galaxy, came in full throttle, smashing aside virtually everything it encountered like so much chaffe. The vessel, rsembling nothing more than a purple metallic cuttlefish, immediately gunned for the center of the citadel[/url] while the geth ships dropped off their troops and soldiers before engaging in the horribly one sided duel with the citadel guard fleet.
The reaper sovereign then paused as it latched onto the central node of the citadel and worked it's way through the data, detecting the presence of extramultiversal entities, something they had warned it and it's kind about.
"You are here...rudimentary creatures of blood and flesh, weldings of the same, beings of thought and hate. They have warned us about your meddling in our harvest." Sovereign said, it's blood red holographic avatar seeming to focus dead on the nearest extramultiversal interferer, while to the citadel natives, it'd seem to just ignore them even as the robotic Geth started to arrive on the citadel in large numbers in service to their master.

Raising his machine gun, Ventnor opened up on Skulltaker who in turn darted to the side, cleaving through a couple of vorcha to take cover in a shop.
Pausing his fire, Ventnor gloated "You are no match for me! Come out and fight!"
Immediately, Skulltaker lept from cover and shot his blinding gaze at the krogan before following through with a quick slash that destroyed his machine gun. He allowed Ventnor to recover for a truly fair fight.
Enraged at this point, the krogan warlord grabbed a large hammer, similar in size and function to the thunder hammers in the 41st millenium, sheathed behind his back. Sweeping forward, he swung his hammer with enough force to flip a logging truck. But Skulltaker was faster, dodging the swing and returning wish a slash that seared his flesh. He swung back around with another blow that the daemon simply leaped over.
The fight continued for several minutes. The krogan was resilient and Skulltaker continued to dodge and parry his blows. Finally, the daemon's blade cleaved through the alien's left arm. Stunned, he was open for another cleave. This time on his left leg. Now on the ground, Skulltaker made short work of his other two appendages before placing his palm over Ventnor's face. Uttering the eight words of sacrifice, the alien's face was consumed with flame that burned furiously for several minutes. The vorcha could only look in awe at this display. Finally, only skull remained which the daemon wrenched off with a few with a few twists.
Standing triumphantly before the vorcha, Skulltaker announced "Here me, savages! Your leader was weak. I can show you how to wield true power, for I am a herald of the Blood God Khorne!" The vorcha looked at him slightly confused. The idea of worship was not something they were familiar with.
Suddenly, the station was wracked with a shockwave. Sensing a greater foe, he commanded the vorcha "Worshiping the Blood God is simple. Follow me and I will show you." He then lead them down the hall toward the insurgent geth.

They arrived in groups, acting in military patterns using cover to there best advantage before firing on the C-Secs with devastating efficiently. Shots pinged off Ra's ornate armour, spurring him to hop into cover, the scorch marks rapidly disappearing from Ra's armour. Shurikans made impossible turns as Ra guided them with witchsight, spinning round and over cover to slice into Geth hide. While they had little flesh to lacerate, several shurikans in the neck will be certain to ruin anyones day...

Arriving before a large geth force, Skulltaker and the vorcha immediately attacked them. "Strike them down! Kill them with rage and vengeance! Spill their blood for the Blood God!", he zealously commanded.
The geth, being inorganic, did not have real blood, but leaked a white liquid when severely damaged which was close enough for the simple minded vorcha to substitute. Several fell to the geth's pulse fire, but many more came to replace them gunning down the geth from a distance or ripping them apart with their claws up close.
Skulltaker himself noticed that he wasn't taking much fire from the geth. In truth, the geth had trouble understanding what he even was. He wasn't an organic creature and in fact didn't even seem to be natural at all. Their confusion gave Skulltaker an opening to slice them in two pieces. The vorcha admired the daemon's skill in combat and continued following him further through the station.

"These are mechanical monstrosities, with no soul or being. Let's deal with them quickly and move onto the populace next" Atropos exclaimed as he felled the remaining C-sec's with dark energy. The elemental sunk back into cover as the new arrivals made their own response, the Geth troopers blasting away at Atropos in an attempt to drive him back, only to have whatever sense of intelligence they possessed snuffed out as Bane cast forth alien energy that caused their forms to wither and falter.

Coming with the fleet of geth was strangely, a fleet of Decepticons who smashed into the citadel like meteors in their protoforms, transforming outwards and scanning the vehicles nearby to assume new alt modes, while those already capable of flight streaked overhead to engage in bombing runs and lethal attacks, and some elected to keep their modern earth or cybertronian modes. Also following them were the Cybernetic chitauri, who had joined this growing army of...
Well, Ulutraxites is what Rose decided to call them as they restarted their attack in earnest, joining the Geth and the terrible menace of the zombie like husks pouring out from transports and Sovereign itself. Most worryingly, those who had been aligned to the Ulutraxi now bore a terrible sigil on them. A central eye on a somewhat tear drop like head that broke into three prongs with a crown of smaller eyes, and maws to devour a universe below it.
They clearly weren't interested in hiding. Only wanton destruction as the Chitauri, Husks, and Decepticons joined the Geth in their wanton destruction, with Sovereign himself being flanked by four reaper destroyers, apparently having been forewarned of the danger these interferers posed to the harvest, all of which bore signs of upgrades and modifications. It seems that the Ulutraxites were starting to share their technology and use it to add onto one another, build onto one another.
And a series of them were outside, threatening to barge into the life support room as husks moved out like a tide of nanite altered flesh, while Geth kept to military tactics, the Chitauri hewing closer to perhaps somewhat older tactics, the scrin showing a deep understanding of their own unique form of warfare, and the Decepticons moving in as more individuals due to their greater power and rarity.

Ra leapt over his cover, ducking and rolling with extraordinary speed having deducted that as creatures that thought in codes, logic would dictate that the Geth would fire at where they calculated him to move to. But Ra was anything but predictable, springing over cover and behind obstructions, into and out sight. Ra ran into the crowd of fleeing citizens, Geth fire scything them down. When the last body fell, Ra was no longer there. Ra dropped silently behind the Geth lines, stalking up until he was just within arms reach. Ra didn't need that far. He layed into them with power scythe cutting in large arcs, dissecting entire groups of Geth with each swing. He moved from group to group like quicksilver, laying into the next group even before the shattered remains of there companions hit the floor. The Geth started a tactical retreat, trying to make range so there weaponary would be effective, Ra was driving them into Banes eager hands.
New enemies where joining the fray, Chitauri where gunning down all they came in contact with and massive meteors where being hurled earthwards, no doubt bring more destruction. Not even the dead stayed dead, hundreds of shambling, circuit inlayed corpses where shambling along, herding the populace into the guns of the metallic hostiles. Ra was beginning to become interested as he turned and shot down an advancing group of Chitauri, forcing them to take cover hard.
''It seems the mechanical machinations of our foe are coming to fruition, and we seem to be at the centre of it. We should re-group with the others, as loath as I am to say it, but we are grazing grox out here while hell rains down among us.'' Ra spoke casually, as if he didn't care if they really followed through with the plan, simply happy to fight here till he ran out of enemies. But Ra knew he wasn't to be that lucky, fate still had plans for them. And yet, Fate wasn't the only one conspiring against them.

Raiden smiled as the last of the C-Sec ran off. Wiping his blade clean of the blood he took note of the new alien force that was beginning to attack the Citadel.
"See you around, I have some killing to do." Raiden told his companions before leaving them alone. They always seemed to bring trouble with them no matter where he went.
The space station seemed to be under heavy attack, the corridors were filled with some kind of UG. They seemed to attack in waves, which made Raiden's job far to easy. Then all of a sudden he heard a massive crash coming from above.
Raiden had broken into one of the massive gardens that made up the more pleasing parts of the Citadel. Descending from the ceiling, roaring with all it's glory, was a Metal Gear REX.
"Metal Gear!" Raiden shouted, but the massive beast had no interest in Raiden. Missiles blaring, machine guns screaming and hull laser moaning, REX was cutting a horrible swathe through the creatures known as the Geth. Someone friendly was obviously piloting the REX, and Raiden had no intention of bring it's attention to him. Even he would have problems against such a machine.
In a strange twist of fate, this REX still had its Rail gun. Last time Raiden saw the creature, it was disabled and the Rail gun had been stolen by Ocelot. Raiden hacked his way through the Geth, enjoying the slaughter with his Metal Gear ally.

The C-Sec ran in behind him, guns blazing. The rounds ricocheting off his shoulder guard. Azwraith smiled, then leapt forward, willing out a pair of phantoms midair. The C-Sec, obviously frightened by this display, turned to flee, and were cut off by the merciless pikeman and his phantoms. The phantom lancer eased into a sprint, and swung his pike, gutting three men as they ran. Another was run through with the shaft, and a further two were kicked down, both with significant cranial damage. On either side of him, his phantoms reaped and cut. A half-dozen soldiers still stood. Azwraith laughed, and sent out a spirit lance. The men were cut down where they stood by the phantom unleashed by the lance. Azwraith stood easy, seeing the carnage unleashed by he and his phantoms. He was getting better. Much better.

Bane had sated himself on the lives of the C-sec sent against him, and thus was prepared for the hard fight ahead against those with no soul or will to sap, to feed upon. The heaviest hitters where mindless machines or emotionless robots, which Atropos loathed to admit he had little to counter with. The elemental moved through the rubble and carnage as the bombing runs of skimmers and fighter craft ended, replaced with swarms of drop-ships and carriers flooding the skies and unleashing an array of deadly troops. He moved alongside 'Ra as they came to another social centre, now covered by rubble and flame as smoke rose into the air. Chitauri and Geth had advanced into it and had seemingly stopped, obviously searching the rubble for survivors or loot. Bane moved ahead, drawing up wards of sorceress energy to protect him from the projectiles of the enemy before creating new magical missiles to fling and cast onto his unaware foes. The unaware xenos bolted to attention as several of their comrades were cast down as Atropos burnt away flesh and melted armour.

Bane was blazing a way forward, forswearing cover, putting trust into daemonic wards to shield him from fire. Bane weathered the assault before launching one of his own, sorcerous bolts melting metal and burning away bodies. 'Ra came in his wake, using the Shadow's Wards as moving cover. Bane lead the frontal assault while 'Ra turned on the spot, surveying all angles and cutting down newly arriving combatants with swift volleys of shurikan fire as and when his super human hearing pinpointed where they would emerge.
Bane broke the back of the resistance, his cackling curses taking hold even on these inorganic forms. And then they had closed and the battle shifted dramatically in their favour, as soon as he hit striking distance Ra sprung over Bane, moving like quicksilver amongst the ranks of metallic monsters, disrupting their ranks and forcing them to run. They where easy targets for Banes ravenous attentions.
Then it his him, a tidal wave of bloodlust and frenzy filled his mind and left the taste of blood in his mouth. Ra wasn't sure what he felt by this, familiar sensation. Glad to of found something he found familiar, or cautious of what he new followed in its wake. A bestial roar uttered from hundreds of inhuman throats that sent psykic shock waves of bloodlust.
Ra could feel it from here, the Blood Tide was here, it was coming, and It planned to drown the citadel in its own blood.

The Decepticons were placed in readiness all over the station, just waiting to spring out and attack, the Ulutraxi had given them new purpose, and they would obey their new masters, just as the newest pawn of the Ulutraxi would. The Reaper destroyers, each being about a hundred and sixty meters tall, each sought out their own landing spots to sow more terror while Husks, Geth, Scrin, Chitauri, and now Decepticons were spread across the station.
Luckily though, it seemed that only the Scrin's shielding was effective against energy weapons of any sort, while the others could only have their shields deflect and resist the impact of purely kinetic weaponry. But the Decepticons seemed to have both kinetic bariers and scrin attenuated shielding, which made them dangerously tough opponents as they sought out to slaughter as much as they can, bringing the corpses back to huge spikes where they would be converted into more husks.
Sovereign itself seemed to be lazily hanging in the center of the station as the geth, scrin, chitauri, and decepticon ships outside seemed to be floating around the citadel like sharks. More of the enemy kept on going into the opening right at the front of the citadel, their vessels streaming through the space with incredible agility and speed to constantly pour out more vile creatures to fight.
John and Rose, both on watch duty, seemed to look on before they were joined by Prophet and Samus. "We're going to need an army to fight them off..." Samus said before Rose thought.
"We have a few on call..." She said as she came to a realization.
"Samus, I need you to initiate contact. Inform them that we must come together and communicate, find a way to stop that vessel from accomplishing whatever it is it seeks." Rose said as Samus immediately started a communique through her hyperwave communicators, speaking to everything not under the mark of the Ulutraxi, though the Daemons were unlikely to hear it.
"May we have your attention? Eldar, Droids, Imperials, Americans, and Citadel natives, we are currently in the midst of a grand crisis against a foe that has already worked out the difficulties in their alliance. If we wish to survive, we must band together and fight them as one. We need to unite in one locaiton and formulate a plan to counter Sovereign and it's helpers." Rose said over the wavelengths.

Bane and Ra had dealt with the vile xenos that had once flooded the area with their numbers, now they lay in peaces and pools of blood and broken bone after a single fire fight with the Phoenix Lord and Elemental, and while his feed was limited to the Chitauri Atropos had still left the Geth molten pools. Azwraith had located them. Having stalked through the trail of destruction and the stench of the Bane Elemental, he had finally located his adversaries.Atropos and another, presumably an elf of some kind (who Atropos refered to as 'Ra') were deep in conversation, the bodies of various solders strewn before them. Seeing that neither the Bane Elemental nor the Space Elf were facing him, Azwraith crept forward, Diffusal Blade drawn. Creeping up behind Ra, he spotted a weak point in his armour. Azwraith smiled, and rammed the diffusal blade into Ra's armour, penetrating the flesh beneath, activating it and purging Ra. He willed out the phantoms he had used to deal with the C-Sec, and sent them after Atropos. The pikeman gritted his teeth, willing out yet more phantoms to surround the phoenix lord. "We Challenge you, Elf", the Phantom Lancer said. With no interference from your dire friend."

'Ra looked down at the primitive spear protruding from his chest, and laughed. ''It will take a lot more then that, kitty, to end me. Much greater beings have failed, but I will indulge your curiosity as to feel my blade.'' Pure, binding soullight was leaking out around the shaft of the spear, enveloping it in burning psykic energy as it crumbled indo dust. The armour had already created a thin sheen of material around the wound to keep the assembled souls within.
Ra paused, letting Asrwraith become amazed at the blinding light show, then twirled his scythe in a large arc, driving the phantoms back a few precious steps. ''Ha, you are allowed allies and I am not? Your chopped logic will end with a chopped body! Bane, help me deal with this kitty litter!'' Geth quickly adapt to new challenges and foes and forced more fire on the anomaly from unreality as he lead the vorcha through the Citadel. Finally, Skulltaker found himself before a Geth Prime. Easily twice the size as he was and armed with a powerful pulse cannon. Firing a single shot, it landed a direct hit on the daemon knocking him backward several meters and landing him on his back. His daemonic resilience kept him from being blasted into several pieces, but Skulltaker knew he had to recover and defeat this powerful foe before the vorcha saw weakness in him. Rising quickly, he dodged the next blast and began his charge at the large robot.

Having received data from the dismantled geth, the Geth Prime viewed the daemon as a muscular two legged humanoid engulfed in a raging fire. As it shot him, the flame flickered and died down; but when he rose again, the flames engulfed him again and seemed to grow larger than before.
The flames represented Skulltaker's rage. With a series of wrathful swings, he cut the Prime apart. He now stood triumphantly atop the machine's dismembered husk in a pool of white liquid. Seeing this, the vorcha gathered around him. One of them began repeatedly saying "Blood for the Blood God!" Several more joined before gradually the whole group was chanting it.
Skulltaker smiled at the work he has done in this realm. With each recitation of "Blood for the Blood God!", reality around the daemon seemed to throb. The Reaper Sovereign immediately felt that something was amiss. He turned to face the corridor that Skulltaker was in. There happened to be a window for them to see each other and they stared each other down before Sovereign at last spoke.

"You are not of flesh and blood, but of hate and thought. You possess abilities not possible by physics, why do you fight against them? Why resist the oncoming storm of burning realities and dying universes? This will be but one of many. You cannot resist us, you cannot hope to stop us. So why fight?" Sovereign asked the Daemon as it noted the systems alliance fleet dropping down from the mass relay, directing the geth to fight them while it and it's reaper destroyer escort continued to lie within the citadel in readiness.
Meanwhile, Prophet was eyeing a complete alchemiter dropped by John.
"So you're telling me this thing can copy something, or even take several things and make a new version that combines them? And that it grants powers that have as much to do with perception as it does reality?" Barnes asked as Rose was looking over the captcha codes of the various destroyed geth, chitauri, decepticons, C-sec, and Scrin items of technology.
"Yep! Pretty nifty huh? Rose thinks we can improve our gear with it!" John said with a beaming overbite bearing smile.
"Count me in, I could use some upgrades." Prophet said while Samus nodded.
"We all could, especially if we're going to beat these "Ulutraxi" if they're as powerful as they say." Samus said as she leaned on a wall.

Azwraith collapsed, his body, phantoms and armour all pitted and scarred from the thousands of shurikens embedded in his flesh. He looked up weakly at the two enemies, and then fell unconscious.

(OOC: Sorry I've been gone a while)
One of the massive decepticons stared down Metal Gear REX, who growled in response. Raiden stood by the massive machine's side, ground literally covered in hundreds of dead bodies. The unstoppable force of the Metal Gear had destroyed everything in it's path. Although Raiden still had no idea who it's pilot was.
The decepticon lunged at the Metal gear, some type of blade spitting from it's arm. REX responded with a massive head butt that cracked directly into the enemy's chest, the blade was unable to damage it's thick armour shell. From it's position, REX launched many small missiles from hidden ports all over it's body, each of these crashed into the beast with tremendous power.
Raiden jumped to help out, grabbing the metal monster by it's leg. It took all of his tremendous strength, but Raiden was able to flip the monster into a section of the structure, leaving the beast jammed within.
REX took a step back and settled into the ground with his stabalisers grabbing the floor, a high pitched whining announced the activation of the massive Rail Gun that was atop his right arm. With his sights locked direction on the decepticon, REX fired it's Rail gun, with deadly force.
A whole appeared in the chest of the machine, this hole punched directly through the hull of the Citadel, letting space enter for a few short moments until some emergency shield sealed the space station. Completely destroyed, the massive beast slumped to the ground, oil dripping like blood.
This left REX and Raiden alone, surrounded by the dead. REX's mouth opened up, allowing Raiden to see the person controlling it. Inside, bandana wrapped around his head, was............ Otacon?
Otacon, of all people, had been using REX as a death machine, looking down upon his old friend Otacon called out.
"Snake sends his regards."
"What is with REX?" Raiden replied.
"I rebuilt it, it's better than ever. I replaced the nuclear launcher with a standard Rail gun, it should cause a lot of damage."
High above them, the form of Sovereign could be seen skulking towards the station. Raiden and Otacon knew that REX was probably their best bet to take the whole thing down. Leaping into REX's cockpit, Raiden buckled down behind the scientist, ready to do some damage.

Sovereign asked the Daemon as it noted the systems alliance fleet dropping down from the mass relay, directing the geth to fight them while it and it's reaper destroyer escort continued to lie within the citadel in readiness.
Provoked by the machine's words, Skulltaker stood firmly and retorted "I am hatred, anger, destruction, bloodshed made manifest. For I am of Khorne, the Blood God. You believe Khorne resists the concept of a burning reality? No, he is its catalyst. Every building demolished fuels Khorne. Every icon burned fuels Khorne. Every inch of blood spilt fuels Khorne. Every life taken in anger and hate belongs to Khorne. When many mortal lives are lost at one place in a short period of time, Khorne's strength grows."
As he continued speaking, his voice grew louder and reality seemed to throb even stronger. "The only time Khorne will stop fighting is when all is wreckage and everything is red with blood! One of many realities to burn? You can bet on it! BLOOD FOR THE BLOOD GOD!"
At that moment, the boundary between this reality and the realm of Chaos finally ruptured allowing the Bloodtide to rush into the Citadel. Daemons materialized out of thin air and began cleaving everything that moved, C-Sec agent or geth drone. Skulltaker's own Juggernaut appeared before him. He mounted it and rode off trampling several vorcha that got in his way. The rest of the vorcha though, now totally committed to Khorne fought alongside the daemons as they spread throughout the station.

"Your Chaos will drown in it's own life's essence once we bring them forth. You cannot stop them. Nothing has stopped them. They are without end or beginning. They are the finality that awaits all universes. They are the Ulutraxi, they are death, they are oblivion, and we fight in service to them." It said as it directed Decepticon, Chitauri, Scrin, and Husk support to fight the daemons spreading across the station in an attempt to keep them contained, the imperator titan sized, though probably not titan strength'd Reaper Destroyers hanging to it's side then splitting off to land on different sections of the citadel to turn their wrath against the invaders as Sovereign started to interface with the citadel and commence the cycle, only for quite unexpectadly, some ghost in the system to work to keep it out.
This ghost was Prophet and his A.I, S.E.C.O.N.D, his suit now enhanced by decepticon plating, geth nanomachines, scrin attenuated energy shields, and Tiberium infusion systems that fed vast amounts of energy into it's very core, covering much of the flayed musculature look of the suit with the self regenerating molecular armor plates of the decepticons and substantially thickening his suit as it bonded with it's new upgrades. In his hand he clutched a mass accelerator-tiberium shard gun with a secondary tiberium conversion beamer that replaced his old SCAR with something substantially more powerful. He hadn't quite acquired enough grist from killing enemies to replicate Samus' suit though.
"I'm working to keep Sovereign out of the system, stop him from calling the rest of the reapers...it's a little harder than it looks, and much more important than you'd think. There's hundreds of thousands, maybe even millions or more of full scale capital ships like him, definitely hundreds of millions of destroyers, and a vast number of Scrin, Chitauri, and Decepticon ships lying in wait to support them. If I let him do it, he's going to call them all to reinforce him and we're going to get swamped." Prophet said as his A.I battled with the sapient starship for control over the station.
"But I've found a weak point." Prophet said before sending out the message to everyone on the citadel.
"Sovereign's planning to use this station to draw in the rest of the ulutraxi aligned armada to this point before spreading across this galaxy to harvest it. I'm doing what I can to keep him locked out but I can't hold on indefinitely. But, he has a weak point. He's heavily invested himself into a Turian, like those C-sec guys, by the name of Saren. He's almost certainly been heavily augmented by the technology of each of the Ulutraxite factions, but if we can kill him, Sovereign will be stunned and drop it's shields long enough for either the natives or us to finish him off and delay the Ulutraxite invasion." He said over the comms as he looked at the ship wrap some of it's tentacles around the central node of the citadel.

Authrix spat another curse as he flung yet more bolts at the gathering Xenos. The Warp storm trapping him had thrown the Dark Angel away from those he had apprehended the Xeno Loki with, forcing him to fend for himself. With bolt and chainblade he had scoured his path of xenos, until they finally took notice of the Blue armoured man destroying awve after wave of their troops. Smiting the last few, Authrix paused in his killing.
Where am I? Scanning the environment did nothing to aid him, He couldn't see or feel his allies nearby. Wait... this feeling... Am I being dampened?
His question was answered as a huge shape crashed though the wall, sending debris flying past the Psyker. It turned with a metallic snarl, energised blades flicking from the massive beast's wrists. Authrix placed his weapons on the ground as the Decepticon advanced.
"Easy... I mean no harm."
"I DO." It replied, starting into a sprint, only to stagger as a volley of las arced into its sensors. The beast roared at the sudden interruption, searching for the source. A pin point shot tore through an exposed cable in the exoskeleton, and suddenly Authrix's powers came flooding back to him. He could sense the presence nearby, a lone Guardsman. The Decepticon had found it too, turning to face the human.
"I SHALL SQUASH BOTH OF YOU AS THE BUGS THAT YOU ARE." An energised blade rose and fell as the trooper dived from cover, rolling away from the machine. Authrix offered a hand as the Decepticon pulled its blade free.
"Guardsman."
"Astartes." The man cracked a grim smile. "Seen these before?"
"Not like that. But..." He focussed on the leering machine as it stalked forwards. "Stand back." Feeling the energies of the Warp once again, Authrix felt an involuntary smile as the energy drew into his head. The machine advanced as he projected the energy around it, a shimmering halo of light around the beast's head. With a single motion, he forced it into a singularity, crushing the Decepticon's head under the titanic energies of the Warp, before tearing off the crumpled remains and casting it to one side. He drew a breath, realising he had been entirely focussed on that single task, before turning to the other man.
The dark blue and grey fatigues he wore were familiar, as was the symbol upon his right shoulder. The man carried a lasgun connected to a power pack, while his helm was more advanced than that of a normal trooper. All this Authrix knew, as he recognised the man somewhat.
"Hepps? Ventiran 72nd?"
"You know it. I didn't think I'd have the misfortune of meeting you again Librarian."
"Second Librarian I'll have you know."
"Of course!" Hepps bowed low, laughing as he did. He faced the Dark Angel with the same cocky grin as before. "What brings you to the hell hole then?"
"The Warp, my friend. Doesn't seem to be my friend today." Hepps cast a look at the downed Decepticon.
"I don't know about that..."
"I wouldn't worry. Where's your unit?" Hepps shrugged.
"Probably dead. I lost them... somewhere. Been wondering around for ages looking for something that isn't either a google eyed alien or a massive fething robot."
"You too huh? Well, I'm looking for some friends of mine. You're free to tag along Hepps." He shrugged.
"Better than dying alone."
"Very good then." The two set off, down yet another corridor they didn't recognise, the same grey panels and strip lights greeting them at every turn.

REX stomped along towards a exit hatch large enough for the massive machine to leave the Citadel. Raiden was helping to control the dreaded beast, although Otacon seemed to have everything under control.
"I was able to increase the processing power of REX, it's faster and more powerful than ever before."
"Do you reckon it is large enough to defeat Sovereign?"
"Of course, I might have lied when I said all the nukes are gone. We still have one left, a surface piercing bunker buster with a nuclear warhead."
"Excellent," Raiden paused and tried to call Prophet, "This is Raiden and REX, if you can bring Sovereign's shields down, we can send a nuclear warhead down her throat."
They finally found a hanger to the outside, REX slowly stomped along the outside of the Citadel's hull, going to find the perfect spot to launch a nuke right up Sovereign's backside.

"This one is below us 'Ra, but I will leave him with some final peace before our depart! Sweet dreams Azwraith" Atropos cast nightmare upon the weakling lancer, leaving the lancer in painful spasms as the two departed. The call of Prophet echoed through their com-channels, alerting them to the Sovereign's attack. The two raced through the citadels crumbling halls to find the titanic Sovereign awaiting them, in orbit around the planet below. The gargantuan craft was at the head of a massive fleet, with the Sovereign surrounded by it’s own defensive of fleet made up by dreadnoughts and cruisers. It was obvious to Bane that the defenders had done very little to push the massive fleet back, or their attempts had been made in vain. He suspected the later as he watched the debris of the fleet defending the planet before form a great cloud below, a charnel house of death for their whelp crews. Atropos knew that they could not board the Sovereign on ‘foot’, and they lacked a scroll of town portal to take them to the great ship, but it seemed these natives possessed their own non-magically driven craft capable of flight; “Tell me ‘Ra, do you believe you can pilot one of these craft?”

Ra followed Banes vision, which was set upon what appeared to be a transport ship, transcribed with the wording UT-47A. ''Only one way to find out, my darkest ally''.
He deftly sprang over obstacles to get to the portal of the small troop ship, which was slightly larger then an Eldar Wave Serpent. It was abandoned. Ra swung himself into the drivers seat before thrumming the activation runes, drawing upon past experiences. His mind skimmed through hundreds of souls kept within his armour, assimilating any info that could be useful. One of the souls had been a Mariner, another a Crimson Hunter, before the call of the reaper came. Bane boarded and Ra gently caressed the transport to rise, mostly through guess work, but the controls where familiar to him. They sped off towards the massive ship/beast that was attaching itself to the middle of the world ship. They where gaining on the Sovereign.

Azwraith lifted his head weakly. Painfully, he turned his head towards the leaving troopship. He pulled out a small leaf from his pouch, and unwrapped the small spherical object contained within. Lifting the tango, he crawled towards a pot plant, the only one that had not been shredded or mangled by Ra and Bane. The pikeman hefted himself up... And ate the tree. The mythical energies of the tango being powered by the raw plant matter provided by the pot plant. As the regenerating properties of the tango kicked in, Lancer crawled into a small troopship, much smaller than the one that Ra and Atropos had escaped in. The lancer lifted his head, and saw a radiant creep scramble into the spacecraft. "This world is breaking apart" it said. "We must leave here, lest the dire scum escape!" Creepy scrambled into the cockpit and fired up the engines, just as the prone lancer lost consiousness. The small spacecraft barely escaped the crumbling remains of the citadel as a massive explosion ripped through the the station.

With an entire arm torn off of the citadel, the signal to attack was made. A series of imperial Thunderbolts weaved through the carnage, targeting one of the destroyers with a series of lascannon shots that sailed right through it's kinetic barriers, striking critically important parts of it as it tried to catch the fighters with point defense lasers before shadowsword tanks put in just the right spot finished off the reaper destroyer with a series of volcano lasers, boring right through it's hull and sending the machine crashing down and exploding.
The second reaper destroyer was then targeted and destroyed with extreme prejudice by the battered systems alliance fleet pouring in through the gap made by the explosion, with the dying machine seeming to scream into the serpent nebula as heavy rounds smashed down it's barriers and then it's hull, though not before it could take a few frigates down with it with sweeps of it's powerful cannon, sending red streams of molten metal flying at near light speed. The third was attacked by Samus' series of gunships, which peppered it with kinetic barrier ignoring energy weapons as it swayed left to right trying to get a good bead on it's attackers before a good shot was made into it's "eye" crippling it's barriers and allowing a powerful bomb to be sent smashing through the optic and into the core, where it promptly exploded.
The fourth however, moved to try and intercept Ra and Bane, the one hundred and sixty meter ship detatching from the citadel to fly at them and try to get a bead on them even as it was being reacquired by the alliance fleet, Imperium, and gunships. Outside however, an Imperial fleet had arrived and was quite brutally stamping down on the fleet Sovereign assembled, with the gargantuan battleships being nearly half as long as the citadel itself and far more massive, impressing upon the natives the need to serve the Emperor as it smashed through the remains of Sovereign's guard fleet.
Now was the matter of stopping Sovereign himself.

Ra jinked and weaved around solid walls of fire, missiles and lasers that criss-crossed across the void. Only his enhanced Eldar reflexes kept the ship in one piece, calling upon memories of his Crimson Hunter self, Ra made extreme manoeuvres that put the transport to its limits. The Transport jinked within meters of entire weapon batteries, scorching the armour-plas of the transport. The Transport spun and weaved towards the vast, over-shadowing Sovereign. Ra re-routed power to the pair of forward facing Mass Accelerator Cannon which sent spiralling projectiles across the void with deadly precision, blowing a small hole in the side of the gargantuan ship. Ra flew into this hole with centimetres to spare, before engaging landing thrusters. They landed amid the dusty veins of the great creature, they where inside.

The pikeman shook the creep awake, asking what had happened. The creep replied. Sovereign moved in for the kill but REX stood still against the chaos. Parts of the massive space station were beginning to fall away from the mass, the Citadel wasn't going to last much longer. REX had bolted it's feet to the floor, it wasn't going to be moving anywhere. The nuclear warhead had been loaded into the rail gun, and the massive cannon was spewing lightning as it powered up.
"Come here you big bully." Otacon shouted over the comm, but due to the vastness of space not a single sound could be heard by the beast, still the machine waited.
The Sovereign had noticed this easy prey, and was moving in for the kill, but this was exactly what Otacon wanted.
"Steady, steady now." Otacon said, his finger on the nuclear button. Sovereign had shielding, but if it moved too close then that shield would provide no protection.
"Fire Otacon!" Raiden shouted, Otacon obliged and launched a nuclear missile directly into Sovereign's stomach.
The monster lurched, before wincing in pain as the nuclear missile punched through the hull. The explosion was massive, and the front half of the creature was engulfed in flames and it winced about in agony. Wasting no time for a counter attack, REX bolted back to it's feet and began to run as fast as it's legs could carry it across the hull of the Citadel. Sovereign wasn't dead yet, but it wasn't doing much better than the Citadel was.

Skulltaker decided to finally make another move toward Sovereign. Leaping off a part of the Citadel with his Juggernaut, he flew through empty space and landed within the mechanical monstrosity by flying up its main beam cannon while it was stunned by the external fire. Inside, he was confronted with husks of harvested mortals which he cleaved apart with disappointing ease. He sensed a sort of psychic presence within the dark halls of the Reaper. It was the indoctrination powers of the Reaper. Not a being made out of matter, Skulltaker was immune to the negative affects of this power as he tried to find his way toward Sovereign's core.

Regretfully, the only thing he could teleport to was the Bane Elemental (OOC: I know you can't do this in game, but it seems like the only other plausible thing to TP to.) He activated his boots, and began the teleport.
Landing next to Atropos, the Pikeman lifted his hands. "I propose a truce, at least until we enter the next realm." The creep on his back was unconscious, thankfully, lest it ruin the moment.

Sensing danger within it's internal systems, the Reaper directed as many of it's husks, geth, scrin, and chitauri to get inside and defend it's interiors, directing Saren to fight those who infiltrated it's interior while Samus' gunships swarmed around and deposited their deadly cargo. John and Rose would fight the monstrous ship from it's exterior as it's tentacles swept across the systems alliance fleets, firing out jets of relativistic molten metal and thin laser beams to carve them apart like turkeys while the Imperials busily destroyed the remainder of it's fleet outside the citadel. Prophet and Samus on the other hand, came down inside of it, feeling Sovereign try to direct it's efforts to indoctrinate the intruders, feeling it's anger as Chaos took hold in it's systems.
"Alright, listen up, Sovereign has a core of negative matter, if we destroy that, we kill this thing and stop it from summoning the rest of it's kind. Then we dismantle this thing piece by piece so that it's dimentia inducing systems don't affect anyone anymore. I"m reading that Saren's gotten inside with an army, so prepare for a fight." Prophet said over the comm links, announcing his presence by ziplining in and kicking right through the faces of some husks and landing on the ground, firing mass accelerated Tiberium shards into some Chitauri whose kinetic barriers held for a bit before cracking, the shards tearing off limbs and body parts as they penetrated, then detonated.
Samus came in via screw attack and bowled right through a series of scrin buzzers and ravagers, landing on the ground and sweeping the room she was in with rapid fire from her combi-beam, pushing forward as more and more enemies were being teleported in by the Scrin to fight those attacking Sovereign. "This is Samus, I'm in." She said as she cracked apart the head of a Tiberium mutated Chitauri with a super missile, wincing as parts of the deceased alien splattered on her shielding.
From the outside, Sovereign and the Imperial fleet noticed enormous light blue tendrils of wind forming in the serpent tendril, snaking into the opening citadel and swarming around Sovereign, who fought back with it's Magneto-hydrodynamic cannons and added Scrin and Decepticon technology, telekinetic barriers and attenuated energy shields forming around it as winds that could pierce through miles of solid stone slammed into it's shielding while a build of magical energy could be felt around it as Rose prepared a spell against the ancient machine, forming a shield to block the ruby red rivers of death issuing forth from it's eye.

'Ra turned a corner, making a fighting advance with Bane. Without thought he laid low an entire hall way full of robotic zombies, Shurikans shredding flesh and tearing out implants. Ra bounded over impeding bodies, running along the grotesque fleshy material that made the interior of the creature. Geth and Chitari poured in through corridors, but there was no cover to be found and they where painfully slow compared to 'Ra. 'Ra vaulted over lanes of fire, finding footing upon the fleshy walls and even the ceiling before sweeping each opening with Shurikans. Wild shots ricocheted off Ra's armour, showering sparks off the impact and leaving ragged scars upon the ornate armour. 'Ra could hear it pounding in his ears, drawing him on. A thumping, a distant, yet tantalizingly close thumping of the core of the creature. Ra switched to witch sight to see the Warp bending and contorting around a blob of nothingness, an anti matter core. ''Come Child of Nightmare! Let us Reap the likes of none before, For Ynnead!'' Ra accompanied that last battle cry with a powerful psykic pulse, knocking intervening husks out of the way, only to be met with a new fusillade of fire power landing multiple scores into Ra's armour. Ra scowled, getting there may be a problem.

Bane swept away the last of the opposing sovereign defenders, his black fire melting bone and flesh into puddles of slime. The Lancer reacted with admirable speed, leaping to his feat and multiplying himself several times. More Dark Bolts sizzled around Ra's head as Bane began an offensive. Ra looked as Azwraiths determined expression, then at the ceiling where he fell, then towards the centre of the ship where the heart lay.
''Stop this at once!'' Boomed Ra, accompanied by a psykic wave to solidify the point. Azwraith paused mid step, unused to being 'Willed' and even Bane slowed, throwing his single bolt before turning to look at Ra. ''It is no meer coincidence that we meet the Lancer again, and I will not stand against fate. At least not when the cost is so high, and when the Lancer may be of use. Each and every mechanical monster will be converging on this position, that could be millions, we could use a distraction! Azwraith, you will send your doubles to the far corners of this ship, drawing all the attension they can. You will accompany us to the heart, so I can watch you, and what you will get in return?'' Ra looked Sharply at Bane ''Protection from 'him' until I see fit, and hopefully a way home. Choose your words carefully Lancer, Bane is anxious for some real souls.''

"And this should satisfy my end of the bargain" The Phantom Lancer unsheathed his diffusal blade and handed it to 'Ra handle first. "So, shall we leave?" The pikeman willed out more phantoms. Ra, Azwraith and Bane where unstoppable. They where proceeded by waves of disorientating doppelgangers, the machine logic engines unable to sort fake from real. Bane strode forward with impunity, carelessly swatting the merge life from the machine things while Azwraith was slicing apart Geth before they even noticed his prescience. They arrived at a long, fleshy door. It was tall and strong looking, it would take an army to knock it down. Bane then proceeded to blast the door open with ease and Ra marvelled at the things power. Their was an under current of rage and hatred that crept their way into R'a mind and he tasted blood in his mouth. Ra saw the familiar daemon thing 'Skulltaker' riding intently towards the core of the beast, but Ra didn't care. This creature was a twisted parody of Khain, representing wanton murder for the sheer enjoyment, the same creature that slaughtered 18 exarchs at the battle of blood and tears. Ra let out a cry of challenge before sending a blazing fussiliade of Shurikans into the daemon beast. Shurikans glanced on the creatures rancid cloak of skulls, but they bit deep into the Juggernaut, which toppled under a leg cracked with Shurikan fire. Skulltaker got up scowling, inhuman rage in an inhuman throat.

Critically wounded, Skulltaker's Jugernaut phased out of this realm leaving the daemonic herald to stare down the three other outsiders to this realm. One of them brandished a large cannon trained on him.
He knew a challenger when he saw one, but Skulltaker was already dead set on dealing the death blow to the Reaper. He was already cheated out of a grand trophy in the previous realm, he was not about to let that happen again for Khorne's wrath would be terrible. He didn't care for anyone who chose the coward's missile thrower over the blades of the fearless anyway.
There was still a large drop between the platform and the core, but there was a series of rafters along the top of the chamber that Skulltaker could easily get to. Darting to the side and dodging the incoming fire from the Phoenix Lord. Before he could make his ascent though, he took a shot right in the head.
Reeling from the blow behind cover, Skulltaker knew another hit like that would expel him from the realm. He climbed up to the rafters still under fire. Leaping from beam to beam, there was still a long jump to be made where the rafters ended before he reached the core. With all the fury within him, he lunged forward...
As he soared through the air though, Maugan Ra landed another shot into the back of the daemon's head. Skulltaker could feel his form beginning to dissolve, but attempted to maintain his presence with all his rage. His sword angled forward, he hit his mark. The fiery daemon blade piereced the core's casing. With his final strength, he hung onto the metal surrounding the core and made two more furious jabs. Then, facing his banisher, he simply spoke "I'm sure we'll meet again.", before falling off the core and passing out of the realm.
Unstable mass effect energy began erupting from the damaged core...

This was the end. Sovereign was dead. The giant space vessel lurched towards the Citadel, using the last of it's dwindling power to bring it closer to it's target. It's life force might be draining, but it was going to take out it's target with it.
Everything was sluggish aboard the vessel, Sovereign was reluctant to respond to commands, everything was going dark. But using the last of her energy, Sovereign smashed straight into the crippled arm of the Citadel, ripping apart even more of the space station.
Everything went quiet, everything went dark.
Citadel was dead, Sovereign was dead.

"It seems that this void borne temple is only a few steps away from collapsing in upon itself. We must flee now or we will surely perish!" Atropos quickly led the way out of the destabilising chamber, seeking a way to escape.

"This is the way, an exit is up ahead. With luck, we may be able to hitch a ride onto a passing transport..." As if on cue, the corridor began disintegrating into coloured fireballs, and the trio began to run (or float) towards the exit up ahead. Azwraith levered open the door with his pike, and stepped into the airlock, alongside 'Ra and Atropos. The three of them made it into the escape pod as Sovereign exploded.

The calamitous explosion tossed the small escape pod around in devastating waves of kinetic energy, making much of the pod's inner sanctums walls unbearably super heated. Ra didn't notice, he could worry about burning to death later, the explosion was much more imminent. It took all of Ra's skill to ride the expanding waves of energy out into the void without being hit by cross-waves that would have them spinning off into a slow oblivion in the endlessness of space. Azwraith looked a little green around the ears and Bane obviously didn't enjoy being powerless. Ra was circling through available vox transmissions hoping to get into contact with someone to pick them up, instead he heard a static laced broad-cast. ''This is Samus Aran, requesting pick up from survivor pod K-37. I have The Profit with me, I repeat, I require pick up.''
Ra picked up the transmitter, but it refused to work. Ra waved at Azwraith who obligingly put a sharp kick into the vox's components and the transmitter began emitting static. '' 'Ra to Samus, 'Ra to Samus, We could use a lift as well!''.

Azwraith took a deep drink from the bottle at his hip. The heat in the interior of the pod had decreased significantly following the explosion, but it was in no way a comfortable temperature. Bane appeared to be utterly disinterested in the interior of the pod, and instead was staring out the window intently. Ra was still at the controls, albeit not succesfully controlling the damaged craft. Hopefully, something or someone would come to their aid.

As Sovereign's body fell apart, an exact copy of it rematerialized in Khorne's dominion in the Realm of Chaos. Despite being a machine, the countless number of souls harvested by the Reaper gave it its own soul and personality. Immobile in the Realm of Chaos, the Reaper could still observe this landscape of unreality with its main ocular sensor. Khorne stepped down from his throne on the brass citadel with his blade, dislodged the ocular sensor from the hulk of the Reaper, cast the remainder of the body to the Forge of Souls, and mounted the mechanical eye on top of the brass citadel so that it may truly take in the Realm of Chaos and witness the sum of everything its kind tried to avoid. Though no longer technically "alive", Sovereign experienced the concept of fear for the first time. Skulltaker was left to recover from the blow he received from that realm. Swearing an oath of vengeance on the Phoenix Lord, he waited for his next command from the Blood god to breach the multiverse.

Not long after the demise of Sovereign, the portals were once again torn open, with every single member of the budding alliance of the slaves of the Ulutraxi following them into the portals as those who fought against the Ulutraxi were brought along with them. Once again the swirls of color and death could be seen, like a sort of methodical madness. The journey had just begun, and there would be many, many, many more battles to face before reality could be declared safe. But another one would be fought here and now.
John and Rose were unceremoniously dumped onto a sandy valley, first the boy, then the girl landing right on top of the boy, eliciting a pained groan from him as she hit him in the back. "Ow." John weakly complained as he tried to get back up, looking for his glasses and affixing them to his face as he looked around. Then he saw...He saw...oh my god, what could he have seen? What sort of horror is this? OH I CAN'T BEAR TO WA-
"Welcome to Gerudo Valley stranger!"
"Wait, wait, wait...we're in Zelda land?" John said, dusting himself off as Rose got off of him and rubbed her backside, hissing a bit from the soreness of the impact.
"Well...this isn't Hyrule if that's what you mean. That would be some distance away. But I'm sure that you'll be able to find it quite easily. Ganon's up to his old tricks again." The Gerudo sighed as she looked warily into the distance.
"I take it this means abducting princess Zelda, attempting to steal her piece of the triforce, and once again plunging the land into endless darkness and woe?" Rose said, quite familiar with how these plots always went.
"Well, yes...how did you know?" The Gerudo asked.
"We just know." She said as she put her hood over her head.

Having fully recovered, Skulltaker received a series of new tasks from the Blood God. He showed him a vision of a dopey looking boy with dirty blonde hair, olive eyes, and tights. The boy said "Gee. It sure is boring around here." A drunken looking man in a golden robe replied "My boy, this peace is what all true warriors strive for." The vision paused on this man as he said that, and it's here that Khorne gave Skulltaker the first of his tasks in this new dimension: kill this man for blaspheming against the Blood God. The vision continued. A wizard soon arrived and explained an incursion on an island by the name of Koridai. The wizard and the boy went above Koridai where the wizard presented the "Faces of Evil", a bunch of giant stone heads, to him and that he must conquer each. Here, the vision stopped and Khorne gave Skulltaker his second task: conquer each of the Faces of Evil before this boy does to establish the Blood God's presence in the realm. Skulltaker could not reach the drunken man as he was protected by some arcane artifact known as the Triforce of Courage. So he decided to destroy the Faces of Evil first instead. Going in solo once more, Skulltaker passed through a portal and cleaved his way through a Gohma as he came out in the other side. He then cut down three more faster than you can say "Squadellah!" (OOC: It is good to be back in the saddle, yee-ha!)
Raiden, REX and Otacon fell through space before coming to an abrupt halt on a sandy beach. REX powered down and began automatic repair, the supercomputer quickly calibrating everything that was needed to repair it. The damage was mostly superficial, but the rather harsh landing had caused shock damage to several on-board systems. REX was immobile for the time being.
"Raiden, you may as well have a look around." Otacon said as he undid his safety harness. "The map says that we happen to be in the middle of a massive ocean. There appear to be 49 islands I believe."
"Got it, I'll see if any of these islands holds anything important."
"I'll contact you by codec when REX is repaired, it can't swim so it won't be going anywhere for a while."
Raiden left the silent giant on the beach and began to walk along the shoreline, the world was very crisp and vivid in colour. Before long he came across another human, a small boy wearing green. He was busy attaching the sail on a small boat.
"Hey kid, mind if you give me a lift?"
The young book looked back at Raiden, looking him up and down before nodding in agreement.
Raiden and the green boy sailed off into the sunset together.

--------------------Prophet.------------
Prophet hated portal travel. But being violently flung from dimension to dimension was never meant to be fun, and he was with Delta Force, and they didn't pay Deltas to be sissies. Clutching his weapon, he observed his surroundings. There was of course, the matter of the Bokoblins charging at him with spears, swords, and shields, forcing him to turn around and open fire with his gun, the dakka dakka of his weapon going out and scything down enemies by the bushel load.
Switching magazines, he checked the bodies of the creatures. Ugly, piglike...wielding primitive weapons...The Legend of Zelda he guessed. He saw that one still had life and promptly shot it again, braining the damn thing as he looked around...he was on some Island, that he guessed, but he didn't see much way to get off of it besides swimming. Well, that is until a handy dandy covenant banshee came screaming at him, firing away with it's weapons that plonked off his maximum armor nanosuit.
Carefully aiming his shots, he ricohetted his bullets to hit the Sangheili pilot repeatedly, killing the creature and sending the covenant craft to a gentle halt, at which point he commandeered the aircraft. Better get to the bottom of this nonsense before it got any weirder, he reasoned as he noted that some reapers could be seen hanging from orbit, bearing the symbols of the Ulutraxi. Well, if the bad guys here obeyed the Ulutraxi, then he may as well start killing them all.
------------Ganon------------------
"I pledge myself and all my forces to the Ulutraxi" The pig demon said, bowing to an effigy of the mysterious destroyers of realities.
"Arise then." Megatron said, having effectively taken command of the Ulutraxi forces, functioning as their general, their prophet, their speaker.
"There is much to do Ganon. And there is much to be acquainted with, now that you have joined us. We will have need of your powerful magic to bring about the will of the harvesters of realities." He said, clenching his fist as he spoke.
"Of course...what must we do?" Ganon said, his army of darkness following behind the tusked demon-king as Megatron looked over the landscape of the world and narrowed his optics, accessing the databases on this world.
"We will need this tri-force of yours, it will help our masters tremendously, so that we may purify all realities." The decepticon lord grinned.

Skulltaker had just finished killing this morbidly obese cyclops named Glutko, a creature more interested in eating than anything else. Such Slaaneshi decadence disgusted the daemon as he now stood atop the stone face he was guarding. He then slid down the front of the face, dragging his blade against the stone all the way down leaving a giant fissure through the center of the face by the time he reached the bottom.
For some strange reason, he could sense more indulgent phenomenon on the island. He set off in that direction.

'Ra awoke, he would be blinking stars from his eyes if he ha any physical ones to see with. Sigh, more portal travel, when will someone ask nicely before he is whisked through dimensions? 'Ra took in his surroundings, it was dark, but the dark help no power over Ra. He could smell rotting wood and taste salt and hear a curious lapping and roaring all around him. Ra got to his feat, and tried the door. The rot wood door fell away beneath his hand and clanged to the floor. Movement, a daemonic eye buzzing on wings moved to see him and let out a piercing wail. Ra put a shuirkan through it, but previously inanimate primitive armour began to rise and reform of their own will. They where shaky, uncertain of what to do with he intruder, Ra wasn't. His reaper blade cleaved one from toe to head, splitting the armour with a ghostly wail. The others moved to attack, but they where clumsy compared to the phoenix lord and their primitive armour held no protection against a weapon of the fortieth millennium.
Ra kicked the last phantom through the rot wood wall, and was surprised to see it plummet into the raging sea below, Ra was on a ship wreck. hearing the dragging metal of more phantoms, Ra leapt out of the whole, using his scythe as leverage to swing him to stand precariously atop the wreck. Ra turned just in time to see an alien attack craft flying not far above his head. He leapt, swing the Maugetar in a long arc so that it connected and stuck onto the craft, still moving at great speed it carried him away from the hulk to its destination. He hoped he didn't fall, and that he could meet up with Bane again and find out what was happening this time!

-------Godzilla-----------
Blasting his way through a clumsy trap set up by the British army in London that is blocking your route to the Bradwell Nuclear power plant, Godzilla lets loose a massive orange ray of atomic energy and incinerate yet another one of their rather expensive armored companies
Why would Godzilla be going through London when the nuclear plant is in Essex? Monsters always went out of their way to make sure that your route to your food source; Nuclear Fission, Anti-matter, Radiological, Plasma, and Nuclear Fusion produced power, will go through a major city, monsters always needed to teach mankind a lesson.
Between Godzilla, the other giant monsters, aliens, time travelers, evil robots, sea/mole people, and the natural disasters that are drawn to East Asia, North America, and Western Europe like moths to a flame, the developed world had to become ludicrously militarized to stand against you all.
But they never seem to get it in their heads that Godzilla is the king of monsters, he is unstoppable, he is a monument to the nuclear sins of man, a monument that can take and dish out more firepower than all the world's conventional weapons put together.
Infantry garrisoned in a skyscraper next to the supreme creature fire off RPGs at his right flank, but they harmlessly explode against the king of monster's impenetrable hide and he swings the back of his right hand into the building, gouging out a huge hole in it and causing the structure to collapse and kill everyone in it.
Artillery rounds fired from a hundred M110 self propelled artillery cannons slam into his chest, creating a hundred massive blooms of fire, but Godzilla moves forth unharmed and notes the trajectory of the artillery rounds and changes his course towards them. No one harms Godzilla and gets away with it.
An armored company of Challenger 2 tanks fires at him before making a mad dash to cover behind some skyscrapers. In response Godzilla merely lets forth an massive atomic fireball, fifty feet wide; forth from the king of all reptile's maw. The Fireball lands in the four way intersection and then explodes into a bloom of nuclear flame that vaporizes the challenger 2 tanks with ease.
An entire heavy infantry battalion garrisoned in a skyscraper to his left begins to fire at him, but yhe ignore their fire and smash your tail into the ground level of the building they were taking cover in, causing it to immediately begin to collapse and wipe out the entire British battalion. But as he advanced, virtually every other building begins to flare up as yet another ambush reveals itself.
Virtually every building is filled with heavy infantry equipped with all the weapons they could carry while armored fighting vehicles and mechanized infantry fire at you on the streets. Meanwhile, more artillery (towed, self propelled, rocket, missile, naval, all of it) strike-fighters, fighter-bombers, ground-attack craft, and bombers begins to fire at him.
At this point he's had quite enough. You smash your foot into the ground and let loose a mighty roar that heralds a nuclear detonation that creates a fiery mushroom cloud which obliterates the British Mechanized infantry division that tried to strike at you. The blast was the equivalent of one hundred kilotons of TNT and leaves much of London in ruins.
He takes a quick detour to Parliament building and give it a snarl before obliterating it with one of your famous atomic breath rays, creating an orange glow in his massive violet spines that signals that he is charging up a massive beam of orange nuclear power, resulting in fiery death.
His beam is briefly stopped by a force-field, but the power of the atom soon overpowers it, when they try to repel it with hyper maser cannons, his beam overpowers those and cause the Hyper Maser beam cannon trucks to explode in the resulting overload, and with one fell swoop; he kills half of parliament, the other half not being fool enough to stay in the city. But they were merely politicians, who would weep for their loss?
Looking at the Ben with contempt, he destroys it with an atomic fireball that shatters the beloved monument into millions of pieces of stone and molten slag. Finally he destroys London bridge by simply walking through it before heading back for Essex again, carving another path of destruction through London. Overall, Godzilla has left two quarters of London a flaming ruin, killed half of London's population, and sent a tenth of the British Armed forces to their graves.
It doesn't seem that mankind shall soon forget this lesson, but Britain; when compared with America and Japan, got off pretty lightly. As he towards Bradwell you spot a convoy of armored fighting vehicles rolling off to London in expectations of fighting you, they did not anticipate that you would move so quickly. They paid for that mistake with their lives.
One release of your atomic breath sent forth an orange ray of nuclear power that destroyed over five hundred, including one hundred and thirty hundred tanks. He deals with the infantry by spewing forth four atomic fireballs that incinerate the remainder of the infantry and burn the fields around them to ash.
Thirty more miles, and a wing of thirty eurofighter typhoons becomes visible to the king of monsters from the horizon as they try to hug the terrain to avoid your notice. That measure obviously fails and he destroys that air force wing with a single sweep of his atomic breath.
This proved to be just a decoy force, as hundreds of missiles launched from a fighter group of some one hundred Typhoons and Tornados prove. He turns towards the fighter group that launched the missiles and let loose his atomic breath, destroying many of their missiles midflight and causing 10% casualties in the air group before they could take evasive action.
Even as the remaining missiles impact your hide, you begin to turn your body to redirect your atomic ray to catch more of the air group, and soon you destroy up to 40% of them before they can pull out. But the RAF is still not finished and has a hextet of Victor bombers and another group of a hundred tornados and typhoons fly far overhead above you and pummel you with bombs while a massive artillery barrage from the royal army and a huge combined missile and air strike from the royal navy hits you all at once.
"Did we get the bloody thing?" one bomber pilot asks before his atomic breath causes his strategic bomber to disappear into a bloom of fire while his beam begins to cut through his air group and wipe out a full 30% of them before they too are able to retreat.
He then lets loose a volley of forty atomic fire balls in rapid succession, four at a time, at the carrier launched air craft to catch and destroy them and he watches with a sense of satisfaction as he destroys a quarter of their air craft. And now for the source of the artillery; judging from their trajectory; they were at the Nuclear power plant...perfect.
He continues to advance, destroying any British military formations that get in his way until he finally reaches the power plant. Immediately his atomic breath lances across the artillery battery that gave him so much fuss and wipes them all out in one go. Then he turns his attention to the Royal Navy. He wades into the water as the famous "wooden wall" (however much that term is an anachronism these days) begins to open fire at you.
But their rounds prove summarily ineffective against you, while your natural weapons prove hideously effective against them. With one swoop of his Atomic breath he eradicates a frigate and two corvettes. The Royal Navy, having the least replaceable assets out of the british armed forces, begins to withdraw,
Now content, he turns to the Nuclear Power plant and begin to smash apart it's reactor dome to get at the real prize, the reactor and fuel rods. He the energy of the nuclear fuel and reactor and leave only useless nonradioactive isotopes before he turns to leave, but he then sees a shimmering portal in front of him.
Stepping through, the King of Monsters announced his presence to the world by emerging into the land of Hyrule, where Tyranid bio-titans, turning to face him, gazed upon the form of the King of Monsters, and knew that they could not stand against such a creature and fled. Imperial armored formations, seeing this new king of all monsters, began to retreat as he opened his mouth and starts his atomic breath into the ground and dragging the orange death ray to eradicate thousands of monsters trying to challenge their one true king.
Seeing a reaper destroyer that stood somewhat taller than even he, Godzilla closed it's maw as the Reaper let loose a tremendous ping, preparing it's thanix cannon. But Godzilla never let it have that chance. The moment it saw it's eye open up to fire it's own death ray, Godzilla retaliated with his, smashing into it's kinetic barriers and overpowering them, the sheer force overwhelming the reaper's defenses and slamming into it's eye, destroying it's core, and then blasting a hole out of it's back. When the massive machine fell to the ground lifelessly, Godzilla roared into the sky, announcing that it had come, and that no sinner shall be spared the wrath of nature.

On his way out of Glutko's territory, Skulltaker found a mysterious book. He had a strange feeling that it would be important later, so he took it with him.
Following the stench of excess, he arrived at Harlequin Bazaar. It is here that Skulltaker witnessed many people spending copious amounts of money on things that they didn't need. He saw people who ran out of money turned into the rat-like Goriya people and put into chains and turned into slaves for the Bazaar's master Harlequin.
Thoroughly disgusted by this excessive spending, Skulltaker resolved to have the bazaar destroyed. He went to one vendor who had just the materials he needed to accomplish this task. The vendor smiled and greeted the Daemon.
"I'm going to need those bombs, some lamp oil, and a lot of rope." requested Skulltaker.
The shopkeep replied " Lamp oil, rope, bombs? You want it? It's yours my friend...as long as you have enough rupies."
The Blood God though does not care for capitalism, so Skulltaker had no patience for this shopkeep. Ignoring his request for money up front, he decided instead to take his supplies by force. Cleaving the shop keep in two, he commandeered the store grabbing bombs and setting them up all over the bazaar. He then tied rope up to the fuses of the bombs and coated them in lamp oil. Skulltaker then stood at the entrance of the bazaar with the end of the oiled rope at his feet. Using only the burning hatred on his blade, he lit the improvised fuse and took cover. A second later, the bazaar erupted killing countless numbers of capitalists and consumers and totally destroying all the stores including J.C.Penny, Old Navy, Gamestop, and Orange Julius. The local stone face was fractured by the explosion, so Skulltaker moved on.

Maugan Ra shook, not from the Banshee for it was being driven sublimely and not from the gale force winds whipping around him. No, Ra shook as a colossal wave of psychic anger invaded his senses, filling him mind with thoughts of bestial fury and anger. Their was also a subtler taste, a faint taste of blood that lingered on the Edge of his mind, Skulltaker had resurfaced. The Banshee was flying calmly, the driver had yet to notice Ra hitch hiking, the powerful anti-grav thrusters masking his weight, finally they were above solid ground. It would of been a beautiful land scape reminiscent of a craftworld pleasure dome if it weren't for the potch-marks of war...or something very big. The Civilians weren't putting up much of a defence, it was almost like they where waiting to ask for a certain hero to come and answer their pleas for help, but he never came.
Neither would 'Ra, they where not his concern, what was his concern was a trail of bleeding fissure in warp space being created as someone, of which Ra had a good guess who, was slaughtering his way through the small villages of the area. Where ever blood was shed, the veil ran thinner and already daemons of Khorne ran rampant through the small villages doing battle with Alien Invades and Local Defenders alike. When the Banshee was flying low, 'Ra dropped to the ground with a metallic thud. He raised the Maugatar which chattered as it cut down a pack of Flesh Hound who where feasting on the remains of a stall...and its owner. The last one howled as it fell, he was in U'Zhuls territory now, and he had lost the element of surprise.

Skulltaker had at this point conquered the rest of the heads. Along his way, he saw the dopey looking boy he saw in the vision goofing around and doing a sort of "duck walk". The daemon shook his head in disappointment before moving on. This boy was clearly not worth his time and was no challenge or threat to him.
Instead, he followed the sense of excess deep into a dark lair, but his wrathful energy light the darkness like he was a sentient torch. The foes he fought in this realm had not been very powerful, but he wished to solve the mystery behind this aura of excess that he detected. Suddenly, a grotesque dog-goblin thing appeared before him. He said, "Join me, Skulltaker, and I will make your face the greatest in Koridai. Or else you will die.".
Skulltaker, caring not for vanity, lunged at this being only to be deflected by a magic force field. Immediately enraged by this trickery, he picked up the book he recovered from Glutko's lair and hurled it at the being. This being was immediately pulled into the pit while screaming "No! Not into the pit! IT BURNS!!!!!"
The aura of excess had not dissipated as this being was not its source. Skulltaker progressed deeper into the lair looking for the source.

Skulltaker went up a flight of stairs and forced open a locked door. As he moved inside, he noticed a blonde girl lying down on a bed asleep. He could sense the aura emanating from this girl, she was the source. The daemon knew what he had to do.
Ringing a gone placed above her intending to wake her up, the daemon stood imposingly above her intending to strike her down, but would give her the chance to die on her feet.
She rose with a beguiling smile on her face. Skulltaker backed up as she got on her feet with his hand clenched on the handle of his blade.
She strode toward him as she spoke. "My my. You don't know how it feels to be rescued by a stud like you." Skulltaker could only grimace in disgust.
With Skulltaker's back against the wall, the girl leaned in toward his face and continued. "Of course, you literally don't know that feeling. All you've ever felt is anger and animosity. Isn't that right, you huntsman of Khorne?"
Skulltaker was bewildered at this point. There was no way anyone in this realm knew what he or Khorne was because he didn't disclose that information to a single being....unless...
The girl moved closer and began to caress his face. "There's so much more for you. You know so little and I could teach you so much. So much that Slaanesh could teach you. All you have to-"
At that moment, Skulltaker backhanded the girl so hard she flew back to the bed. Still grinning, she looked up and boldly spoke "So that's how it will be? So be it." Her form began to change. She grew slightly taller, her clothes changed, and two crooked horns pointed backwards grew from her head. In a burst of dark purple flame, a cat o' nine tails appeared in her hand. A daemon of Slaanesh. On her feet again, one quick wave of her hand holding the cat o' nine tails made the tips wrap around Skulltaker's blade. Another motion sent the sword flying into the corner of the room. The tips then consolidated into a single sharp blade like a rapier and she held it pointed toward the Khornate daemon. "My name is Esmeralda, and though I may not be able to kill you I will adore this chance to humiliate you."

Ra summersaulted over a charging juggernaut of Khorne, swinging the scythed bayonet to decapitate the hollering blood letter atop the metal behemoth. The Juggernaut cared little as it's rider dissipated into the warp and charged again at Ra, blood spattered horns laid low to impale the phoenix lord.
Suddenly, what Ra though was a metallic meteor smashed through a wooden cottage and crushed the charging daemon beneath it's bulk with a deafening metallic clang. Flames sprang from the mountain of metal and it glowed red hot from radioactive flame. A colossal roar came from beyond the village where Ra was astonished to see a monstrous Lizard doing battle with shifting swarms of metal figures in the distance. Then it clicked and Ra stepped away from the meteor slowly as it began to shudder and rise from the cracked earth.
intelligence flared in evil red through broken eye lenses as the decepticon rose to tower above the town square, attention fixed on the Phoenix Lord. ''Target acquired'' the robot boomed as it raised it's still super heated arm-cannon to aim at Ra. He felt the air ionise and dived to the side as the cannon powered up. But it never fired, the crash must of damaged something and the cannon spluttered, it's energy dissipating into the air. The decepticon tried to fire again and again the gun failed to fire. Ra stood up, inviting to robot to try again. So he did, powering up his cannon until it blazed with power now it's engines where warmed up, but it was now that Ra sent a dozen perfectly placed Shurikans into it's Mekanisms and the plasma bolt exploded inwards.
The decepticon fell, smoke bellowing from every orifice as it tried to escape from the robots melted insides. Ra approached and slammed his scythe into the things neck, severing it. The head rolled away, but a static hissing could be heared emanating from the ear piece. They sounded like orders from the clipped tones and the authority in the voice.
''This is Maugan Ra of Altansar, and I demand you tell me who you are to think to take me from my home and what your intent is with this farce'' Ra was bring the ball back to his court.

With a shuddering, snarling crackle. A sense of dread was cast over the whole world as the Ulutraxi decided to reveal their face to all beings. Speaking to each and everyone of the travelers, the devourers of reality showed one of the least of their number as a sort of psychic hologram.
It was a weak Ulutraxi, as signified by it's lack of any additions to it's torso or head, just being a floating creature of pure, primordial malevolence but still a being of power comparable to the C'tan,
"You seek to speak to us...fumbling in ignorance you attempt to comprehend what is beyond your understanding. We are the Ulutraxi. We are extinction." It said as the soldiers, including an Eldar host ripped from it's home, Nazis, the Imperial Japanese, and yet more vile Xenos, all looked upon the face of the beings that brought them here.
"...What are you?" Rose asked as Dave and Jade finished patting each other off before turning to the depiction of the Ulutraxi that appeared before them.
"We are the devourers of universes. We are a swarm without number, the eaters of all things. The consumers of flesh, of stone, of metal, of energy, of souls, of thought, of space and time and the very fabric of reality itself." The Ulutraxi said in a deep, reverberating voice that sent chills into the very souls of those who heard it.
"Then why haven't we heard of you?" Prophet asked, miles away, but his question was relayed for all to hear.
"Because none who have ever laid witness upon our host have ever survived to warn anyone else." The Ulutraxi said as it showed countless universes, including parallel versions of the home universes the travelers originated from, being devoured by the Ulutraxi, pouring forth from bleeds in reality like an endless swarm of locusts with the powers of gods at their weakest, and beyond human comprehension at their strongest.
Realities withered and died like fruit on the vine, eaten entirely by the hungry swarm, their people, their matter devoured, the stars themselves being devoured, souls being fed to an unending swarm of lovecraftian horrors, and even the very fabric of reality itself breaking down as the Ulutraxi feasted upon it.
"That you have come here indicates that something believes that you can stop our expansion, our feast. But that will not be so. No reality, no matter how strong or powerful, has ever resisted our advances." The Ulutraxi said as it awaited further questions, continuing to display images of horror around it's psychic projection, of entire realities being consumed to the last higgs boson.
"So, here's what I don't get...why go through all this trouble just to eat?" Senator Armstrong said, stepping forth to question the Ulutraxi representative, his own question being made loud and clear for everyone to hear.
"We are the apex of evolution. The Ultimate Life form. You exist only to feed us. We are predator, you are prey. You live because we allow it, you will die because we demand it. Struggle all you wish. It will not even prolong the inevitable." It said, listening in for any others who sought to question the chosen herald of the eaters of realities.

''Dieing holds no sway with me creature. You think you are the Ultamate life form? My Race has created Gods!'' Ra's lenses began to glow as he looked upon the creature with Witchsight. It was far bigger then it's physical form, pulsing energy as if it was simply a node in a greater power network. Ra's many soulstones glowed bright and soulfire jumped between them as every image the Ultraxi shown of an entire universe being destroyed was met with a grisly death of Maugan Ra.
''You say 'we' are the Apex predator, but that is a lie isn't it? You are a grunt, a goon, a messenger, that it all. Your masters pull your strings just like that 'something' is pulling ours. But that is my question alien, who ever brought us here already knows about you and intends to stop you with us. I don't like having my strings pulled, who is this 'something' that is presuming to challenge and try to stop you?'' Ra finished, standing back into the obscuring light cast by his own luminescent soul. He tried to hold the things gaze, but he found it all but impossible to read it, it was implacable and ancient but he did see something. Pride. If he played his cards right, he could have the thing blabbing its 'superiority' before his eyes.

"We have consumed alternates of your home universe. Your Necrons, your Tyranids, your Chaos, your kind, your God Emperors and Greater Goods. They were incorporated into the great feast. What makes you so different from your alternates?" The creature said as it's neckless head floated to turn to the speaker, it's cold, reverberating voice sounding almost mechanically cold as one could see glimpses into the Nullar, a primordial soup of energy and stray chunks of matter, an multicoloured gulf where the Ulutraxi lurked between meals, and where creatures that shared many features with the speaker, but were identifiably very different, could be seen floating through this null space.
"The identity of that or those which presumes to halt our feast is unknown to us. But it is irrelevant to us. The feasts continue. Realities are eaten alive, and their inhabitants die screaming. We cannot be stopped. All your struggles will do is provide us with means to access your homes so that we may devour them as well. We are legion, and we expand and grow in number constantly." It said with a cold sort of mechanical confidence, devoid of most emotion as it floated up and down while wretched things swam behind it in the projection.

((We're in Hyrule, yeah? If so...))
"Be forever banished into the hell from which you crawled out of, sorceror!", a metallic voice said. "All talk. How typical for a slave of the False Emperor", a hoarse voice replied.
Two men stood across from each other on top was a hab black. Dead Astartes, both current and former, littered the ground around them. The skies raged with empyrean energies as the warp storm consumed the world they found themselves on. One man was resplendent in crimson armor with golden accents to denote his high office. His other was a black clad man wearing a hood covering his gnarled, wicked face. The Crimson man slung his boltgun and drew his blade. The sword glowed with a blue sheen that glowed brighter than ever as if the energy itself was battling the unholy aura of the world. It is was more likely to be the lighting, though, but it certainly inspired it's wielder to some degree.
The other grinned a toothy smile. He instead simply raised his staff, a wooden pole that had several skulls impaled through it. "I know you will defeat me, Blood Raven. With one stroke of your blade I will be slain. My god has shown it to me", he said. Cortez quickly drew his Bolt Pistol and fired it. The bolt thundered from the muzzle of the handgun and rocketed into the chest cavity of the Sorceror. It exploded inside of him rupturing nearly every internal organ that it could. However, this man was equal parts flesh and warp stuff so he did not immediately die. He fell to his knees and clutched his gut. His magic stick fell to the ground.
"Look around you, Blood Raven. This world belongs to Chaos. Your Imperium has abandoned you. Even if you kill me it will mean nothing. The only way you will leave this world is as a true follower of Chaos", the Sorceror said in his death throes. "Perhaps. But that still won't save you", he said leveling his bolt pistol at the Sorceror's head. The Sorceror looked up and immediately cast a spell. A portal opened up underneath the Blood Raven's feet. He fell through the fabric of reality and into a tumbling fall in a dark place that is both somewhere and nowhere. The portal snapped shut almost immediately.
The Sorceror laughed loudly. "If only the False Emperor's slaves would shut up for once perhaps they would gather more victories", he said. He got up and started walking away, still clutching his bleeding gut.
Captain Ferdinand Cortez of the Blood Ravens 5th Company continued to fall through many realities. Eventually he fell face first into a pile of hay. The rest of the world materialized around him. It was a sunny and pleasant day. Large puffy white clouds lazily floated over the rolling green hills of the flat plains that the village was built on. Several villagers had gathered around the oddly armored stranger. He got up rather quickly which caused panic amongst the villagers. Cortez looked around and took in the peoples of this new place. He slowly picked up his bolt pistol and sheathed it.
He said, "Hail". This caused some in the now larger crowd to jump. The elder in this village hesitantly stepped forward. The Elder bowed before the newly arrival. "Greetings, stranger. Before we become chummy, may I ask your intentions?", she asked. Cortez paused to think about her question. Really, what were his intentions now? He didn't know where he was or, for that matter, when he was. Perhaps he was on a world that had yet found the Imperium's enlightenment. Perhaps he had been banished to a time immemorial. For now survival was the key. "My intentions are to destroy the enemies of man. Tell me, villager, have you heard of the God Emperor of Mankind?", Cortez asked. "God Emperor of... Mankind, you said? No, we never heard of such a person", she said.
Wait. How was he able to converse with these people if they had yet to find the Emperor's guiding light? Perhaps their language was similar enough to low gothic. Perhaps there was some sorcery going on. "Well... you people are human, correct?", Cortez asked. He had looked more closely at these people and they bore a striking resemblance to Eldar. "Humans? Yes, that is something you could call us. We prefer the term Hylians though", she said. Ab-humans most likely.
"So where am I exactly?", the Astartes asked. "Why, the kingdom of Hyrule", the Elder said. "A Kingdom, you say? And where is the king? I wish to speak to him", Cortez asked. "The King lives in the Castle which is... very far in that direction", the Eldar replied pointing in a seemingly random direction. "Ah, good, then I shall be off", the Space Marine said. He started walking off almost immediately.
As soon he was out of ear shot one villager asked, "Did was just witness the newest threat to the kingdom arrive?". "Only time will tell", another replied.

"Valhallans! Stand your ground damn you!" A Commissar shouted as shards of ice launched at incredible velocities blew through their sand bags, with the Ceph standing on the other side. The gelatinous creatures stood in suits of carbon based armor that allowed a bit of their jelly structures to stick out, contained by their suits as they continued to lay down withering fire.
"Sir we need heavy guns!" The Valhallan sergeant said as a Ceph Devastator (also known as a heavy or "fatty" by the Imperials) strode on through, casually stomping on a human husk created by the reapers in service to the Ulutraxi. Waving around a huge gun with barrels you could shove your head down.
The Ceph chattered in some digital, almost mechanical sort of language...but the Tech-priests didn't believe they were sapient, as they detected a sort of direct energy transfer into the Xenos, a sort of technological hive mind. Then the Commissar saw some of the Ceph sprinting and wall-jumping off of the trees, bouncing around to prevent good shots from being taken as the Stalkers tried to get into position.
"Heavy bolters! We need heavy bolters!" The Commissar shouted as some Teal plated and red trimmed Ice Dragon Space Marines laid down bolter fire.
"Comrade Commissar, this position is not tenable, we must call in for artillery support." The lead devastator said as he swapped magazines for his heavy bolter while a Ceph shadow blasted one of the Valhallan's heads apart with a bolt rifle, sending a massive electrical charge across a long distance and sending his charred, torsoless body to the ground.
"Madam Commissar, call in the artillery!" The marine said as his devastator squad reloaded, with heavy weapon teams in the company trying to pick up some slack.
"This is Commissar Yelena of the 35th heavy infantry regiment, 5th army, we are pinned down by unknown Xenos, designated "Squiddies", we need support now!" She shouted into her radio before a MOAC's ice shard smashed through some rapid-fab cover her troops set up, hit her in the carapace armored chest, carried her at least ten feet, and knocked her flat on her back, making her cough as the wind was kicked out of her.

"Lord Ra, we have arrived." They said simply and calmly, from the voice, it was likely a female, fairly young by Eldar standards, probably wearing Autarch armor...from the dialect...yes, Alaitoc, definitely Alaitoc

Captain Cortez had traveled quite some distance by the time he had heard the transmission. He was quite surprised that the Imperial Guard was here. He responded over the vox, "This is Captain Cortez of the Blood Ravens Space Marine chapter". He looked around for any indication of where the battle was going on. "I am on my way to assist. Where are you, soldier?". How he was going to find the Imperial Guard would be the first matter. How he was going to help would be the second.

"Tech-priests are triangulating...we're due hundred meters north-east of your position, you should be able to h-" she said before she was cut off by a massive deep "PING" that seemed to travel through the air as a massive sonic wave that tore apart everything it hit.
The sound of flesh rupturing could be heard while the sound of three powerful legs stomping on the ground was also audible, while the roar of energy chain-guns could be heard as Guardsmen frantically called for medics, and the unmistakable sight of exploded people was clearly visible while the Ceph Pinger moved forward, being followed by more of the gelatinous armored xenos. Flying Ceph troopers and scouts bombarded the area with fire from their ice firing MOACs or freeze ray MOARs or super-hot plasma or charged particle beam weaponry, while the more humanoid Grunts, Stalkers, and Heavies followed the Pingers as they made a general advance, the Pingers in turn letting the massive Hunters follow up behind them.
A series of predator and Leman Russ tanks were ready to receive their advance, as was a secondary line of defenses, but retreating guardsmen and falling back space marines and sisters of battle could be seen as the highly advanced aliens made their move forward. A sister of battle had them set up some rapid-fabrication cover to hold the line, but the enemy had air superiority, and the unmistakable shriek of more Ceph could be heard.
Nearby cortez was a squad of the vile xenos, and he could now get a close look at them.
Seven or so feet tall, it seemed that shooting them in their armor plates was going to be an ammo waster, and while they certainly seemed super-humanly strong and fast, and given the Tyranids that the Guardsmen frantically describe the Ceph mulching through, it seems they can handle themselves close up quite well. But the gelatin looked vulnerable, and only three grunts and two stalkers were near Cortez.

Cortez looks around to make sure he is alone. His raises suspicions prove to be correct as he spots more foul Xenos. He appraises them carefully and notes their protected plating. He looks around and the only meaningful cover was a large boulder. He removes a fragmentation grenade and tosses it in hope that it lands behind them. He then runs for the boulder. When he gets there he unslings his boltgun. He checks the fuel reserve for the built in meltagun. Unfortunately it was empty so Cortez would have to rely on his remaining 3 magazines to carry the day.

A cool sense of relief and familiarisation rushed over Ra as the voice contacted him through mindspeak. This was the first he'd heard of his race since this hell happened, but Ra also felt powerful. The Eldar where a powerful race and maybe with them as his allies as well as those he could collect, they could beat back this thing.
''Well met Sister, Altansar hails the StarStriders of the Galactic rim. Our universe is in peril and we are required to work together for the sake of our race. What are your numbers and disposition? No matter, bring your most able seers with you and triangulate my position. I feel our enemy is of a kinship to a C'tan, a being of pure energy, if we could bind it's energies into a wraithbone shell it would be at our disposal for interrogation!'' Ra spoke fast in the mother tongue of Aliatoc using one of hi past lives experiences, reliving the war in the heavens and how the Necrons defeated their colloasal star gods.
Ra pushed these thoughts, almost forcefully into his fellow companions minds, giving them all his insights and his plan hoping they would go along with it. The god's power may be pivotal in stopping the creature escaping. The Air began to ionize in what Ra believed was a teleport field, here goes nothing.

Skulltaker was disarmed, but Esmeralda did not mistake that for weakness; being crafted for martial combat, Skulltaker was equally capable with fists and feet. She made quick jabs with her rapier that Skulltaker deftly parried. He tried returning with punches, kicks and sweeps but Esmeralda danced around them like they were choreographed.
"You may hate me, Skulltaker, but I hope you know that I don't hate you." said the Slaaneshi Daemoness followed by a giggle. "In fact, I like you a lot. One way or another, I will make you mine." She made one more jab, but Skulltaker countered by grabbing her wrist and pulling her forward into his fist. She quickly recovered, but he was able to capitalize on those few seconds by recovering his own blade.
The wall in the room was suddenly torn off, revealing the mayhem ensuing outside. Both daemons paused their duel to gaze upon what was being wrought. "Beautiful, isn't it? Transcend a mere multiverse, and you can create art by simply inviting in some beings that don't belong in the realm." spoke Esmeralda. Skulltaker then took another swing at her, but she ducked before leaping out the opening and into the wilds below. At the bottom, she exclaimed "By the way, love what you did to those stone faces! How about you and I have a little contest? There's a powerful being known as Ganondorf elsewhere in this realm. The dog faced being you fought in the palace here was created by extracting a bit of his essence. He was simple to beat, but that was just a very minuscule fraction of his power. Let's see how you and I fare against the real thing. First one to fell him surrenders to the other." She then ran off.
"I'll have your head yet you wench!" yelled Skulltaker as he himself leaped out of the palace. He summoned forth his Juggernaut steed, landed on it, and rode off. Skulltaker knew this was a challenge that he could not back down from. Esmeralda's challenge goes beyond simple threats and taunts. By the unwritten rules of The Great Game, challenges between the gods were always serious affairs. If Skulltaker lost, his existence would be over. He was not about to let that happen.

((If I wasn't supposed to do this then I shall delete this post!))
The grenade bounces down the gentle slope until it rests just behind the xenos. It explodes in a loud fury of concussive force, metal fragmentation and heat. All these elements don't seem to have any meaningful effects on the creatures but they seem a little confused. At first. Internal calculations give a probable estimate of where the grenade was thrown from. The Cephs start heading towards Cortez's rock. The Captain peeks around the corner to see their disposition. In return he receives gun fire that turns the boulder into so much gravel. The Astartes ducks back into cover. He prepares another Fragmentation grenade. He grasps it for several seconds to allow it's internal countdown to expire somewhat. "None shall find us wanting!", the Blood Raven exclaims as he tosses the grenade. This time the grenade meets just the right mark and sends a few fragments into their backs. They spread out to prevent such another hit from affecting him.
Cortez in return fires his bolter at one of the grunts. The first bolt round exits the muzzle of the massive gyrojet with a loud bang. It's rockets then activate which propels it to great speeds. Then, finally, it meets it's mark and explodes harmlessly on the alien's armor. "Blast...", he says as his follow up shots meet similiar fates. Return fire mostly patters off his artificer armor. However, one shot wedges between his plates and shocks him. He nearly doubles over as the electricity takes over his nerves and uses them for heretical purposes. But, he comes out of the pain just in time to meet the butt of a grunt's rifle to the head. Cortez is knocked to the ground and his boltgun falls to the alien's feet. The Ceph kicks it away and stomps repeatedly on his chest. His armor's warning systems sound in his ears.
Cortez grabs the alien's foot with one hand. With the other he draws his relic sword. The blade of this ancient weapon shines with an unusual sheen as befitting such a sword. Before the Ceph can kick it out of his hand he slices at the alien's leg knocking it to the ground. The other Ceph start to pour fire at Cortez which prompts him to take cover once more. Unfortunately for the Blood Raven his Boltgun is nowhere to be seen. Unfortunately for the xenos, his bolt pistol is sufficient for this task. He draws his handgun. A Ceph grunt rounds the corner just in time to receive a bolt round to the head. The alien, though unarmed, flinches in reaction. Cortez charges at it while shouting at the top of his lungs. The alien, having recovered itself, attempts to punch the marine. Cortez in turn brings his relic blade down onto the Ceph's shoulder which causes it to lean forward. Just enough to expose it's weak back. For the Ceph's troubles it receives a blade deep into it's innards. The Relic Blade's field damages the internal organs causing a quick and painful death. It falls to the ground in a gory heap. The other two grunts back away while firing at the marine. Once more he ducks behind the boulder in a sick game of chase.
Nearby Cortez spots a blinking light. He ducks to the ground before the Stalker could hit him. He in turn swings his Relic Blade at the stalker but it manages to evade him. In return the Stalker stabs back into the soft part of his armor which causes him significant pain. The other one fires at him with it's SMGs but the weapon does little. Cortez parries another blow made by the Stalker. At this point the two combatants are locked in blades. The Stalker tries with all of it's might to break the Relic blade. The blade's whine is a testament to the amount of pressure it is taking. However, like most officers in the Imperium, Cortez prefers to fight clutching both his pistol and his blade. Rather than dropping the pistol and attempting to win the lock instead he reaches around with his bolt pistol and fires three times. One round misses, the second one only grazes but the third makes it's mark. The Stalker's innards explode violently causing it to collapse lifelessly. It bursts messily shortly after.
At the very same moment that the Stalker died the other stabs Cortez in the back which causes him to stumble forward. The Stalker then kicks him square in the back landing him onto the ground. He turns around and, rather than get up, simply lies there with one bolt round still in his pistol. The alien charges at him with it's blades at the ready. At the right moment Cortez rolls behind the Ceph. The Ceph, possessing excellent reflexes, wheels around to try and stab him again. However, an Astartes also possesses superior reflexes. A bolt round meets the Stalker's right back which kills it as well.
The other two grunts start pouring shots once more. Cortez takes several before he can take cover yet again. He quickly reloads his bolt pistol. The two grunts close in on him. One was sufficient to cause the Space Marine harm. Two working in tandem would be near lethal... he begins to think. The Ceph's gelatinous exposed area could still be hit from a well placed shot from the front. He took careful aim at the grunt. It was nearly on top of him by the time he fired the pistol. Once more, a pistol round leaves it's chamber, rockets out and meest the alien's flesh in kind.
It bursst inside killing the grunt. The other slams it's fist into the Marine's body. He is sent onto the ground. Pain wracks his body but he knows how to will it away. Cortez looks around. The Ceph is quickly approaching. He spies a shining glint in the tall grass: The golden case of his bolter. He kicks the alien away some and dashes for it. Cortez grabs his bolter and starts firing on the alien. 5 rounds hit it's armor harmlessly but the explosions caused makes it flinch. This moment of respite allows a careful shot to be taken. Two rounds exit the bolter.
One narrowly misses.
The other, not wishing to repeat the mistake of it's brother, bites into the Ceph. His innards explode in a violent display of the might of Terra. Cortez sighs. He swaps the magazine out, slings the rifle, collects his fallen belongings and once more attempts to communicate with the Imperial Guard. "This is Captain Cortez. I have made contact with the xenos but they were defeated. What is your status?", he calls out over the comms.

A blue hole in reality opens suddenly. Swirling like a whirlpool, for a split second another entire world is seen in its center- and then it abruptly closes, disgorging a small shape that crashes down to the ground with a low curse.
Ashiraya rose to her feet, brushing off dust from her rune-covered armour. 'I'm going to kill that mage. Clumsiest portal I've ever seen...'
She looked at her surroundings and saw the utter havoc of various unnameable creatures battling one another.
'...What in the name of %#@*?'

After a considerable amount of time, and no small amount of daemonic hijinks, a Warp portal finally formed in this new world, spitting out two figures. The first stood to dust himself off, while the second struggled to release the contents of his stomach,
'Let it go Hepps. It's almost like you've never travelled by Warp before.'
'Not without the - ' Authrix grimaced as yellow bile poured from the man's mouth. 'Are you finished?' He asked as Hepps pulled himself upright. The latter nodded. 'Good. Now...' He took a sweeping view; an almost utterly barren desert. 'Where are we?'
'Wouldn't know sir.'
'Of course.' Authrix shrugged. 'It matters naught. We shall head west, until we find something of import.'
'"Of import", sir?'
'Something to...' He paused, realising he wasn't sure himself. 'Something. we'll know when we find it.'

Ashiraya blinks. Another portal? She wasn't going to pretend that she understood what was happening in the slightest, but maybe others had ended up here mistakenly. Maybe, just maybe, it was not entirely that useless mage's fault. She watched two shapes emerge from the portal. She shrugged. If nothing else, they might know what exactly is going on.
As she approached, she carefully studied their appearance. They looked like nothing she had ever seen. At least they seemed humanoid, which sufficed for her to try communication.
'You there. Greetings. Do you know what is going on here?'

Using information provided by Khorne, Skulltaker learned that his own blade would not be able to strike Ganondorf down as he was protected with the same sort of aura that the phoney Ganondorf had. He needed to recover an artifact of this world named the Master Sword which is located in a temple known as the Temple of Time.
However, Slaanesh also knows of this and has fed the same information to Esmeralda. The two gods send their legions of lesser daemons against each other outside the temple hoping to create an opening for their respective champion.

Arden was the first to react, swinging his lasgun up level to the woman's head. Authrix shrugged.
'Settle down, nothing we've not dealt with before.' He faced the woman, hands behind his back. 'Haven't the foggiest.' He turned, walking away. 'Feel free to join us if you wish. As long as you are loyal to humanity, I have no quarrel.'
'Sir, are you sure-'
'Did I stutter, Arden?'
'No sir.'
Authrix nodded at the stormtrooper as he began pacing away. 'Don't fall behind.'

Ashiraya nodded quickly. 'Certainly.' She decided not to tell them just how many humans she had actually killed in her days, or that she did not actually know what 'humanity' meant in this world. But getting enemies this early was not a good idea and it wasn't like they could ever find out. So she rested her axe on her shoulder and decided to follow them, hoping that her long Blood Elf ears were not too suspicious to the humans.

He looked down towards the distant battle between mongrels from high up in the air.
"What a disgraceful sight..." he muttered.
The King of Heroes rode upon a shining bright ‘ark’ made of gold and emerald, 500 meters above the ground.
Gate of Babylon – the treasury of Gilgamesh, the primeval hero who once owned all of the treasures in the world, stored within it the original forms of many treasures that were praised by the legends and myths of latter men. The golden ark that he is using to float in the air is also one of those 'divine secret treasures'. Indeed, this is the flying contraption that was passed from Babylon to India and recorded in the two epic sagas Ramayana and Mahabharata as the "Vimana".
"Although they’re mongrels, they should be worrying about common enemies at the very least... I wouldn’t have thought that they’ve fallen as low as fighting each other despite the danger to this world. There should be a limit to deplorability." he shrugged, looking from the sky and then to the battle far below him. Guidance was not something he'd offer to these fools, though perhaps a quick display to let them know their place would be in order. This battle was going nowhere and he at least needed to ease his boredom.
The Vimana moved like a shooting star, directly above the centre of the conflict with the most numbers battling each other. What would happen if there was an attack that forcibly separated the combatants from each other?
"Lashing dreams together and aspiring for tyranny... I will praise your enthusiasm. But brave soldiers, have any of you discerned it? This pointless charade of a battle. Allow me to show you the truth." he muttered silently, rising up from his sitting position from the Vimana and stared down at the battlefield below. A golden ripple in space appeared in front of him as Gilgamesh appeared to pull out a sword from mid-air.
Could it really be called something as specialized as a 'sword'? It was a weapon of far too abnormal a shape. There was a grip and a hand guard, and its length was about that of a longsword. But the crucial section where the 'blade' should have been assigned deviated far too much from the form of an edged weapon. It was a dull blade with a pillar made of three sections lined up, and a tip which spun in a spiral shape. The three pillar sections were like querns, slowly continuing to rotate in alternation.
Gilgamesh held his hand high above his head, and the sword of the beginning gradually increased the speed of its revolutions. Faster with each rotation, ever faster... The three quern-like cylinders, acting in concert with the movement of the Heavens, revolved as each creaked with a weight and power equivalent to a tectonic movement. The enormous amount of seething and overflowing energy was beyond measurement. Even those below should be able to detect this new source of energy, coming from right above them. Though 500 meters above them, the light from the sword would be dazzling to behold even if one could not see it properly. To those below, it was a new star in the sky being blocked by a strange, golden flying machine.
