I'd commission a company to build/paint the entire HH Ultramarine Legion.

I think I would build the entire Order of the Argent Blade, which is the name I've given to the Minor Order Militant of the Adeptus Sororitas I've used in a number of games, and for which my Sisters forces are painted to belong to.

They tend to favor mobility, so that's a hefty number of Dominican-pattern drop pods and Rhinos to field, as well as a thousand Sisters of various classifications.

More space nuns. Specifically, my own custom Minor Order built up to 1000 Sisters. Tactically, they enjoy hitting the enemy as hard and as abruptly as possible, so that could mean Dominions, Seraphim and Rhinos/Immos being quite prominent. And, of course, there would also be plenty of accessories throughout to give a few models here and there some character. Things like purity seals or bionic eyes.

But, if I wanted to be silly, all six Major Orders. Each one can be up to 7000 Sisters strong (I think...), so that's a whole lot of space nuns.

I'd do my idea for an Eldar Titan Clan: 4 Wraithknights, 2 Revenants and a Phantom.

Everything forgeworld makes for the IG, especially the traitor guard.

Imperial Guardsman. Thought of orks for a moment but Guardsman is the way. Think about it! All their titans (which can be for chaos), all those tanks, all those traitor guardsman for chaos, all those loyal regiments. So many possibilities!

Yeah, that's me too. Maybe also a couple of 3D printers to make models for the units made in the 40k Proposed Rules forum.

DKOK is the only sane choice. Maybe the whole 88th Siege Army, all 27 regiments and 14 independent artillery companies.

I'd bulk up my Salamanders demi company into a full fledged chapter. It would be really nice to also have a number of forge world models like a glaive and predator infernuses while still maintaining the feel of a 40k army.

Definitely a 30k army, painted by someone far more skilled than myself.

With infinite funds I'd have to go with an Imperial Guard army and all the Forgeworld extras. A couple Titans would be nice to round it out.

Either an entire Ork WAAGH!!! or a new Tyranid Hive Fleet - literally millions of models for each one. I would personally hire the populations of Brazil and Nigeria to play out the game for me too.

My problem isn't lack of money, it's lack of time, lol. I can already buy models at a far higher rate than I can even assemble them let alone assemble and paint them.

But, assuming unlimited time and money and patience, I'd probably go Imperial Guard. I like a lot of their flyers and big tanks and the infantry looks cool in big numbers.

I'd make a Titan legion.

A 30k Word Bearers legion litteraly. Plus guard/cultists.

Imperial Navy heavy bomber wing. Why have one Marauder Destroyer when you can have an entire table full of them?

I would make an entire Armored regiment, Air assault regiment of IG using custom models and converted tanks, Air support wing of Navy and whole Navy fleet of Segmentum Terra.

And Skitarii...

30k 1ksons, with enough to fill out and possible FOC configuration, painted by someone who has a clue on painting.

I wouldn't suddenly change my taste in army just because I got infinately rich. I would buy Tyranids enough to field any 1999 point army list possible, and hire an artist to magnetize all monsters and base and paint everything to my colour scheme.

A full Dark Eldar Kabal. More importantly, I'd commission a custom game board to represent the decadent-as-hell palace of the Archon. I'm talking inlaid tiles of real jade, solid gold statues to block LOS, a silver cage that contains an actual bird of paradise...

Cast my units in hallmarked solid gold and platinum. Because then its always valuable and weighs so much they never wopbble :-) hmm though moving a gold baneblade may need a strong table!

Of course painted but all you need to strip paint n its bankable, at last a hobby, and a investment in one, and the impiral Aquileia would look well gold as only gold can be.

Well I have the army I would have chosen, but I would choose Sisters of Battle. It really has been a great army for me, Lots of tourney wins.

But if it was to be a NEW army, I'd choose orks, just because I have played my friends orks and enjoyed it whiler it lasted. they're damn fun if you LIKE hordes.

Eldar corsairs. Converted and Master classed so that they are a seemless transition between CWE and DE. With plenty of night wings and vampyres. But have everything look run down and dilapidated, showing they've been in space a long time.

I would create the space marines as my own personal army. I would fund the creation of them, implant thousands of humans who can pass the tests to become a space marine and then conquer the earth.

A full DKoK apoc army complete with handfuls of Baneblades, multiples of all the Baneblade variants, and Imperial Knights. Or I would do an entire HH legion apoc army with all the primarchs and several war hound titans, and several reaver titans. Oh and when I say apoc, I mean 100k points lol

I would buy an eldar army, since they are good in every editions.

AdMech, with Titan Legion auxiliary and ImpKnights.
And I'd buy more for my Marked of Cain CSM warband, with their allied Traitor Titans from the Legio Excruxio.
And then I'd buy AT LEAST 2500pts of everything else, giving me a perfect excuse to buy every rulebook I can think of.
Plus every single possible Lords of War choice.

They're amazing models, and I really like the back story - but they're so pricey! If I had tonnes of cash that's what I'd go for

A forge world Death Guard Loyalist 30k army. (pre-heresy)

Iron hands. With the upgrade kit on ever model. As it is, I'm just making a small detachment.

Assuming I also had the time to do and space to store it, I'd build my Ork force to a similar level as what Titan Legion Ork forces were like on the table - the equivalent of at least 4 Clans (each being a fully stocked FOC), a Mega Gargant, Gargant Big Mob, Mekboy Gargant, Stompa Mobs and all of the various kinds of attendant tank/gunwagon squadrons, superheavies & other extras that'd go with it.

But that'd probably involve doing nothing else for the rest of my life, so it's pipedream city.

I would buy Orks. I don't care how competitive they aren't, I just absolutely love their playstyle. Blatant disregard to the life of their soldiers, rolling for stupidity checks (don't press dat), and firing guns that have unpredicted effects. It's so silly that anything you do ends up being absolutely hilarious and fun, in my opinion. I fully intend on buying orks as soon as I'm done painting my Eldar.

I would build the entire the entire Chaos Legions both pre and post heresy and then I would hire a mercenary army and make GW give CSM good rules.

If I had infinite funds, I would buy the world and all corporations.

But if I was restricted to only WH40K armies, I would build a tyranids Army and build a supermassive hive fleet (something that would make all the other hive fleets combined look tiny)

Something fully converted. Like yeah, I'll buy this whole box just to use the one bit. Because I've got infinite funds. So an Inquisition/Ecclesiarchy force, or a mutated Chaos horde or something.

If I were starting all over, then a metal Guard army, but I've been collecting those since 2nd edition. Or I guess I could wait/hope for the next plastic regiment and do an army of those plus the new Storm Troopers. And if Fantasy's an option too, then an old Empire and/or Dogs of War army would be cool.

Grey Knights, since the only way to collect Grey Knights is if you have an infinite source of funds.
