Dear Dakkanauts (I hope that's right)...
It has come time for me to once again rear my ugly head and request, nay, demand, that we all get to know eachother a little bit better. Thus, around this time every year, I start one of these. Sadly, I was not around last year, and so I was not able to make one. Let me make up for it.
First off, please, please do not post images to the DakkaDakka server. They will be deleted, and no-one will be able to see your pretty faces. Second, nothing obscene or related in any way to illegal acts (I.E., don't take photos of you having a rip off your bong (And yes, I am talking to you, KingCracker)).
Anyway, to start, here I am after spending the better part of 12 hours in a cave.

That stuff belongs to the girls I live with! The blue container is my stuff, but that's just your standard shower gel, exfoliating facial scrub, moisturiser, eye cream, night serum, shampoo, moisturiser, hair chutney... Y'know, the basics.

I was making a joke. You are right and I am fully aware of the fact my friend and I have a lot in common (it is why we became such good friends in the first place). We do look very similar on this picture as we are both wearing black shirts and you can't see my friend's face. We are wearing different jeans and shoes however. (though the general design is virtually ubiqitous) I actually happen to like my hairstyle. it is just difficult to be different. There are so many people; there is hundreds of guys running around with the same style. There are people with the same hair and clothing style you have as well. The lack of diversity in the mainstream (affordable) clothing shops doesn't really help either. And if I would choose a different style just for the sake of being different, well, that would probably just make me unhappy, wouldn't it?
And since when did this turn into a 'criticise poor old Ilyusha's appearance' thread? You guys are making me insecure Now please give me a compliment to make it up.

Nice button-up shirts that are solid colors or have subtle, sleek designs to continue emphasizing your figure, really cool sweaters with high collars or a few thick buttons on a v-neck, all of these should be slim fit and tight on your body. Pants can be boot cut jeans that aren't skinny like yours. Get a new pair of classic 'formal' shoes (they can be cheap, just make sure they are durable) to go with these, they should be black. Your hair you can probably keep with this look, it would work nicely and still fit your clique's main scheme and likewise the girls you have your eye on would still like you. In addition to the benefits it would yield in your particular social circle, older folks will probably treat you better. You have the body that a lot of people wish they had, you can wear some seriously nice threads.

Yeah, well I wouldn't pay too close attention to 'maple syrup' over there. Bootcut jeans and black formal shoes? Bro... Come on.
Iron, your look is tight and age appropriate. I'd stick with it. If anything I'd go tighter and darker on the jeans, and maybe go smaller on the shoes, something like this kid's got on:

Yeah, and not the same skin color, and… well, a very long list of differences.
Actually, the lower part of the face would not look quite as scary as the waist, Because Raziel is goddamn skinny just below the ribcage, and Lara is not exactly fat, but she is still human.

actually, the first is some gear taken from my RA gear ("mr.Snippy"), together with a random german army jacket (still need a black/white jacket to fit, and wasn't allowed to take my gun with me).
the second one is just some medieval gear to represent somebody from that era, was a day in school where the grad people dressed up as such, and my buddy had an actual chainmail and other stuff, so yeah...
but i see your point in "from borderlands to icewind dale"

There are plenty of posts on Dakka about why I support the Sens, most of it has to do with choosing not to support the three cities near me (Detroit, Columbus, and Pittsburgh, all "rival" cities for Cleveland for some reason or another) and the rest of it has to do with how I kept going back to their games the first week of the 2012/2013 season when Dish Network gave their subscribers NHL insider, and I consumed like 10 games in a week

I'd wear a Senators hat, but I don't feel like paying shipping on the hat and all of the "Lids" in the area sell hockey hats, but they're only the popular teams. Don't ask.
Utterly painful past few seasons. They used to be a respectable side until the higher ups fired the manager after an unlucky streak; the one they have now is completely under-experienced and out of his league - which won't be an issue for long considering the bookies' odds on their relegation this season.
Now the Wexfield Rams, they're a good side. Solid performances since the start of the season coming off a huge team reshuffle and a good few buys in the last transfer window, as well as a coach who knows what the feth he's doing. They're not as good as the Hollyhead Bulls were in their prime during 2005-2006 and 2006-2007, but I think they have the potential to get there if they try. I have a feeling they'll place high this season.

I'm not much of a football player to be honest, rather a cricketer

Lets see, look good with glasses on, you look like you have a responsible and professional career, you dress well and you are good with technology... The only downside I'm seeing here is you may be a bit too hairy for my taste

Avatar, you are not hairy in the slightest, not even remotely. As a man who is as hairy as a monkey I take offence to you using my picture on a forum, I suppose you wished you owned my dashing blue shirt.

Old but gold.
It was 40 degrees out that day.
Story of the photo was that my boss told us to "Dress for warmth" instead of "Dress Warmly", so my fellow employees and I figured we would turn it into a joke.

I always loved 40 degree days when I was in school, the heat meant that we didn't have to wear our ties in class.

Man, I see 40 degrees and think... why are they taking ties off, thats cold!!! but then I see your Kiwi flag and remember you use that silly Celsius stuff *
* The kiwi flag thing was a joke, I know your flag is actually australian

Luckily for you, I'm not really very hairy at all.
Unfortunately, I don't wear glasses, I don't have a responsible and professional career, I don't dress well, and I'm not good with technology.

If we are doing "action shots"
Second from right, with my older brother next to me during his time as a rookie with the department.
Nothing like being able to hand your old gear to your older brother while telling him "who get's the hand-me-downs now rookie bitch!"

I will have you know that I am holding a highly sophisticated piece of firefighting equipment!
'Tis just a little spray nozzle...
That is the most awkwardly staged "try to look serious and pretend to be watching stuff" photo I could find .
Another department was doing some controlled burns to let their new guys get some practice fighting brush fires, so we were just the backup in case something went wrong. It was just 4 hours of standing around doing exactly what we are doing in that picture

Well since I lurk here every day I figured I would post one (albeit very blurry because my wife used her tab) of me, and Ms. Caroline. This is the only one I have of myself on my laptop.. I appear to be standing awkwardly for some reason but this was about a year ago, before a Mopar cruise to the Lemay Auto Museum.
Hope this works haha!
