Also I am thinking land sailed vehicles due to the high wind and common storms, as for the largest vehicle would be a tank that would belong to the cities as they have more resources available to them.
cooooool, like the land sail idea!
Yes I like it, I'm thinking along the lines of stripped down cars or even scratch built land crafts

What day is it mate LOL Got you mate got you
I have made a few individual gangers just to get a feel for them, also worked out ideas for others and back stories.
One of the things I wanted to try has worked out perfectly (makes a change) the parts from different manufactures and the look turned out almost spot on as to my image
I will take some pics (really this time) of what I have done once I find the camera and the charger but it is only about 6 minis but you can get an idea of where I am going.
Plus I have been looking through some of the stuff I have ( surprised myself ) found some cool stuff with great potential so might chuck photos of them up as well

OK been a while but just wanted to knock up a quick review of MY WAY Miniatures I have received.
Overall great castings next to no blemishes clean crisp detail and full of character, actually the only blemish I found was on the shoulder pad which they kindly fixed with a small amount of GS
I have taken some pics which are a little blurry but get the point across I hope, the actual design of the Aztec Marine is amazing the detail reflecting Aztec culture is spot on and greta twist to the usual marine format.
Plus the choice of backpacks offer a great alternative look to the model but both inkeeping with the aesthetics of the look, the power fist has the added extra sense of of atmosphere as it is clenching the heart of his most recent foe.
On top of this it has an almost rock like texture to it along with this the other arm holding his weapon of choice based on the Aztec Macuahuitl, this really completes the look nicely only finished of by the Putin looking head wearing the coolest marine headdress.
This really is a cool addition to the marine market and stands out from the rest in an original way, just cant wait to slap some paint on him now.

OK thanks for the piss take lads to explain the pics issues I was actually writing the review when my sister decided a surprised visit with her new feller in tow, who is also an old mate of mine which led to some catching up so I quickly posted the review
Not realising I had not posted the bloody pictures so pictures will now be added also I never reviewed the heads which offer some great opportunities to recreate a certain style of guard or even some great original looking troops.
There are masked and unmasked version which both offer some great details although the masked are my favourites, if you want some great looking troop heads they are worth the investment.
Will back in 2015

OK been a while I know but after Vik's cool Grot tank I got inspired,so after a little time squeezed in between decorating the bathroom, bedroom and a bad case of man flu I started to build something I wanted to do for a while.
As the golden rule states no pics it never happened I have provided the proof hope you like it, o yes bonus points for anyone who can guess what it's based on

I just realised you can't see it all together in its splendor the side armour can be added or removed and still have to build the armour for the other side

Awesome work LDD! great to see a post with actual pictures, the mini tank destroyer isn't too bad either
I built something not too dissimulator in shape some time ago, it's probably knocking around in a box somewhere still.
Very nice, more pics!!!

about bloody well time to finally chuck out a product of your own!!!! blimey!
the tank is truly grot lovley sweet! the tracks look very good...I recently went for thicker PC for such details... but your thinner stuff looks way more fragile and even more convincing that way!...I am wondering if there is a subliminal message hidden there?...looks like grot writing there...
cant really tell if it is based on a Russian or an American tank... but these two are my guesses...hmmm....
how did you do all these washers and nuts?... they look premade? I want them too.....
now... not to have you with too much smugness left due all the praise...how long since we see some lick of paint there?...

Excellent work LDD, seriously cool. Reminds me of a mini Jagdpanther

Post by: lone dirty dog
Thanks for the praise guys
The tracks were an absolute pain to be honest several kinds of tubing, punches, plastic putty and a hell of a lot of stress, I was actually going to use some 1/48 scale tank wheels but thought what the hell make my own.
Noodle you need to dig out the tank me want to see that one I have dug out some of my old ones to take another crack at making them look better.
The pre made rivets and bolts are our very own Zinge Industries resin sprue which I have to say are bloody marvelous, however the small ones although very nicely detailed can easily disappear into the carpet, I have found a technique to help with this using black tac to stick the nut to it while you trim of the stem sprue.
I am disappointed it was based on the Jagdpanzer 38(t) Hetzer back to the drawing board I guess then come on paint I have only just got back on the horse for god sake baby steps mate baby steps Automatically Appended Next Post: Ruglud wrote:Excellent work LDD, seriously cool. funny... a brit making german tanks...I always try to make british looking tanks
after taking a look at google I have to say you nailed the tank type look to a T... no need to change a thing here!... should have been obvious to me due to the gun at least...
thanks for pointing out that it is a zinge product... how diod you glue all these lil ones to the tanks surface then? zinge does resin right?... that means super glue?... what kind of method do you use to get multitudes of tiny parts on the tank then?...glue an area with super glue and then add the part or drop of glue to the part and then on to the tank?...
28415
Post by: lone dirty dog
German armour rocks sorry but it does you guys had the coolest looking vehicles in WW2 Although Maxminis WW2 Yank Orcs look pretty dam cool
I use the dob of superglue on a scrap piece of plastic card and a new very sharp X-ACTO knife to gently stab, dip and place method, same thing with the plastic rod bolts but obviously liquid plastic glue instead.
Just one thing Don't use the cutting mat for blobbing liquid plastic glue on it takes of the markings and turns the glue green hence the spots of green in the pics

OK its that time of year a little update well I have been working on several things of late but nothing finished ( no surprise there ) however I got even more sidetracked with being offered a commission job ( yes surprised me as well ).
Any way Jim from "Models and Minis" http://www.dakkadakka.com/dakkaforum/posts/list/616158.page asked me if I would be interested in making him an Orc driver, so I said I would give it go so here is some of the WIP pics so far.
Check out the Grot plane and tanks if you're a green fan and the IG stuff some nice conversion parts I know I have a few pieces myself
Bottom pic is Spellcrow head with hair added just to show scale

Hello old friend
Still lurking around yes they will be evetually when I get them finished and posted.
It's for Models and Minis he has a thread on here, he makes some scratch built kits which I bought a few of and he asked me if I fancied doing some sculpting for him so I gave it a go
These will be heads and shoulders only as they are for a grot bomb launcher he is making, check them out

Holy cow! I love that feeling when I find a new blog that includes some plasticard mastery; all that white card is somehow really exciting. Great grot tanks, dude, and also some fantastic green stuff work on that driver's legs.
I'm gonna have to have a trawl back through the rest of your blog to see what I've missed!

It's a present for my Nephews 21st as he loved my orks and that bike model, but don't tell him .......
