Turn 5 Opponents Turn
Im afraid I don't have any photos of turn 5, wrapped up in the moment as we were i forgot to take photos but needless to say the marines pressed forward and inflicted another string of casualties, a full militia squad, the malefic lord and ogryn on the left flank my whole cultists unit in combat on the central objective, and a few others here and there, things were not looking good for the renegades.
Turn 5 My Turn
I implored the Dark Gods to grant me their favour l, I was rewarded, almost immediately I managed to kill the final eliminator, removing a deadly thorn that had been picking at units for the majority of the game, I managed to inflict a single casualty on the marines in the central objective, I did the same to the squad on the left side, and managed to kill a hellblaster or two.
Turn 6 Opponents Turn
The marines moved forward, the Librarian moved to support the hellblasters who moved to support the central objective, the marine squad moved forward and fired at the militia squads, inflicted a few casualties, and the primaris captain moved towards the punisher, set on destroying the tank and treating the left side.
Turn 6 My Turn
I set about denying the marines their gains, my maraduers acted as executioners for the apothecary cowering behind the central objective, my militia squads within range targeted the squad holding the objective until it was just the sergeant left, and my command squad along with a depleted militia squad shot at the anicent, wounding him but failing to kill him.
Turn 7 Opponents Turn
The marines were down to bare bones now, but they were determined, the marine squad on the left Dove into combat, joined by the librarian with a militia squad and managed to inflict some casualties, the hellblasters fired and killed a single militia man and the Librarian suffered perils of the warp and took 2 wounds, the Primaris captain took 2 wounds off the leman russ, the anicent and single primaris sergeant only killed a single model.
Turn 7 My Turn
I began this turn by moving squads into position, such as moving the militia squad in combat out of combat my cultists with autoguns fired into the hellblasters and killed one, they were joined by a militia squad and a disciple squad that wiped them out, my punisher tank reversed and turned the primaris captain into red mist with its gatling cannon, the heavy bolters fired into the marine squad and killed another 2, the marauders used their meltas to cook the remaining marine from that squad, the anicent was killed by the command squad, and the final marine on the central objective was torn apart by a storm of las and auto fire.
Turn 8
With only the librarian left my opponent charged him into combat and deal a number of casualties, when it was my turn I used my marauders to finish off the last marine, wiping out the corpse Emperor's finest
Note On The Game
Hey everyone sorry for the long battle report and breaking it into smaller chunks, I also apologise for this were update that has 3 turns instead of 1, and for the lack of photos, I was very engrossed and simply forgot to take photos until after the final turn.
I wanted to do a little bit about the renegades to finish off, I was impressed with how the army stood up in battle, my heretics of the match had to be the marauders as they simply cut through anything with those melta guns, I honestly look forward to playing my renegades again soon as they were a ton of fun to play, so hopefully their will be some more battle reports in the not so distant future.
