Thought I might pop something here. Never sure where these things should go. But I've started a project.

The long and short of it is I'm trying my hand at converting once more and I was challenged. My friend is doing a slannesh themed army and I thought why not.

So this is my attempt.

WARNING. This rambling update will contain cleavage so if your offended by my attempts I'm sorry. But I'm trying anyway.

I'm go an start this and add pics and WIP images as I go so thanks for taking a look


Also. Sorry about the quality. Stage two. When I'm closer to completion is to get a nice camera of people think its a good idea.

NEW UPDATE
With the release of skitari and admech. Two forces I have been hoping for since I was tiny. I thought why not. Drag them into the fold and do a dark admech force.
So I have. Haven't got to far yet. But I'll post them as I get them

Woo. Step one. Still sorry for only having a phone. Even though it's only been a day. I swear a camera is on the horizon.

So far I have the right feeling. The mix of using dark elf witch parts and chaos parts is perfect. Though in hindsight i need to greenstuff the feet if the marines. The natural pose of the models has the feet at a funny angle. But I know know so while I'm starting to experiment with greenstuff I can do that. Gas masks. Blind folds and hoods are what thinking.

I want the army to be sensual and follow the perversion of its chaos god. But be tasteful as well

Tiny update. Got my chaos lord all sorted out. What I didn't know is that specialist weapons could be different as long as they are both specialist so yay. That means for her with a power fist and a lightning claw apparently you just pick what your attacking with at the start.

Im liking the chaos lord model alot but it doesn't look like a lord to me as it stands. I think its more in line with being a possessed or champion. maybe think about adding size to the model some how, like with a csm back pack or something akin. Maybe even the possessed back pack with the daemon wings

Absolutely. I like her. But she does not wow like a lord should. In all honestly part of my exscuse is that I am on a time limit. I have some nice ideas for getting a keeper of secrets all done up. And I do want to keep the naga tail theme going for my lords.

I tried to give her bulk by adding terminator arms for size. But I think throwing on a backpack is an excelent idea.

Right. Working on obliterators next. It's tough as I want there to be a theme for these models and I'm going to be using terminator models to make them. What I don't want however is for the two to look so alike that people get confused on the battlefield.

What I have so far is inspired from the space marine centurions

I took a set if terminator legs and hollowed them out so that I could fit a new set of legs inside the first. Then using some green stuff and plasticard shaped some supports and straps to hold her in the armor. Some hollowing of the chest plate to give her a slight curving by adding in the small torso I used and so far I'm happy. I'm trying to ensure my trips have shapely legs or a rump. And the walkers a torso. That's the theme I'm trying for at least.

Obliterators are all done. Not as obvious as I wish as I'm always worried about people mistaking units. But at the same time I do like them. So yay. Didn't realize if gone heavy bolter quite so much till I sat the two down. So have to see what I can do for the third.

You're really on to something there. I especially like the butt-less leg armor, just the right amount of 40k silliness.

And I wouldn't mind a bigger pic of the Dreadnough.

Hello world. Sadly the real world stopped me from modeling for a while, and a combination of being in a funk and real-world issues sadly halted my progress for a while.

But now I am back. I am ready to model. I have been spending far too many hours green stuffing late at night when I should have been abed.

Normally when I model I browse the website here or the Internet to make sure that what I am trying to do has not been done. With this army it's the only time I have broken this exception as with my defiler and now my something.

I say something because of the scale. It might be a keeper of secrets of an Apocalypse slanesh deamon.

Woot. So I'm gonna get a scale picture at some stage but this model is Deffinetly to large to be a keeper of secrets. At 2.3 times the height of a normal one its Deffinetly going to be the 666 points lord of war daemon.

As for that. Added more detail. Some more rings and straps of course and painting is a WIP.

It's a pain. I want white undercoat for the skin but I need to dry brush the hair. This making the white less white. Bahhh

Ok so a minor side track. Got a little distracted playing with some nurgle troops. Though in my defense I'm pondering my slaneshe Jump troops ( which I have decided will be much like a harpy ).

Still painting my super deamon and she is coming along.

Yes and no is the answer. Yes they fit onto their bases as long as I put wires to hang them up slightly or the old battle fleet Gothic ships see through plastic. These guys are about half as tall extra as they should be which is my biggest fault when I modeling. I tends to model to what I think looks awesome rather than taking into account the terrain or tactics.

So yes but they are jumping off ruins or hanging In the air waiting to pounce

Yea I can relate... I had this soulgrinder that was 3 times the hight of a regular soul grinder :S needless to say It got Killed quickly since everyone on the battlefield could see her :S then I cut her legs off XD

Ahh perfect. Just need to name her now but I'm done my lord of war now. Including small sexy sidekick on the base. Though I feel honestly that I could add much more to the base. But ahh well.

Wow, this project is excellent.

That chaos dreadnought looks amazing. And I'm not saying it because tits. It's a very well thought and executed conversion, well matched by a neat paintjob. Congrats on that one.

The keeper of secrets/apocalypse demon looks amazing as well. You really do know how to get the best out of green stuff.

Wouldn't mind having a peek at those painted Oblits.

Any more noise marines started yet? All the conversion work looks great. The Helbrute looks amazing, the conversion work is smooth and fits, not something that was just stamped onto the front of the chassis. I think the Lord though needs some pink on her armour. Maybe on the lower segments of the armour or on the actual fists of the weapons.

Alright combat engineer. I shall listen to your advice and tonight when I am playing around with my guys I shall add pink. The only reason I didn't initially is simply because I felt by making it Deller it would stand out more amongst a sea of bright colors but it has been something I'm looking at.

Truth be told two of the obliterate doors and two full squads of the noise Marines are now complete. I just haven't had a chance to take any pictures because they're at a friends house after a game.

Obliterators are cool. Not overburdened with weapons, which is a rarity on most Obliterator conversions. What are the other planned units for this force?

so many other obliterators are covered in weapons coming from every which orifice. I wanted something almost sleeker. Like they could have anything but its a controlled mutation that forms up and the weapons change on them.

Heh. It's an atlas Titan in the background. From titanfall. Picked up the special edition as that thing is a perfect scale as a 40k Titan. Just needs some work

Alright another actual update. Woooo may as well keep spamming these things out as I work on them. Next up is my harpy themed warp talons. I am using the same process to make their legs work (and to give them barely clad rumps ) as the noise marines. Which I'm not going to lie had me worried.
My biggest concern was that the eye would be drawn to them and you would instantly sit there pointing out how similar they are. But with the wings and the Juno pack less worried now.

My hellharpys have been blessed with flight but their curse means that they can't really set down. With lightning talons where feet should be all of them spend most of their time aloft. Perching on the curves and silken trees in slaneshe a gardens. Singing their terrible songs to lure lesser spirits or daemons of the other dark gods to them before the sweet tones of their voices turn to a reaching. With a howling bloodthirsty cry they alight and chase their victims down. Delighting in tormenting them and letting the prey feel the bliss of fear. The pounding of their heart and the surge of adrenalin before the pounce.

Oh man, that Hellharpy is shaping up really well! Gothic and grotesque; beguiling and utterly lethal. In a word, Slanneshi to her core. Great work so far.

As always first of all I wish to thank you tinfoil. It's always great to get feedback and I appreciate it as always.
The hell harpy looks good thus far. And considering she was a prototype I might have to go ahead and get more dark eldar parts.

Today's random post is my predator tank. Normal vehicles tend to be my weakest modeling as I want things to resemble what they are supposed to be. With things like the land raider and the predator though it means it is very difficult to make them fit into the theme of my army.
So instead of a sexualized model I instead of going for it perfectly build and well-maintained look. I will be using the sound theme as the emperors children utilize sound weapons often.

In this instance I have pushed the turn it forwards and added a second venting system as well as swapped out the twin linked lascannon for sound blasters ( though they are still lascanons ).
The side sponson will be getting similar treatment and I'm going to be heading trimmed and detail.

What I have done but I do not have any photos of yet or made a little moldings from part of a Warhammer dark elf kit. It adds perfect detail. They will be in later photos.

Thanks edreynaline. This far I'm happy with how things are going. Working on the predator still and it's going well. I'm happy with the sponson and the turret but I'm sure the body needs more. My only issue so far is I'm not sure what more needs. I want to continue with my thing but with vehicles it is very difficult, I find that I cannot do what I'd like without going too far and I'm not willing to do that. Give me a monstrous creature and I will give you a piece of art. However give me a vehicle and I do struggle.

If anybody has any suggestions please fire away as I would like to listen. If I don't use them I apologize I'm after something very specific but I don't know what I'm after. An oxymoron if I've ever heard one.

I am planning on adding this little symbol in various shapes all of my vehicles to personalize them.

Thanks fireangel. Honestly I'm very happy with how they are coming along. And what's better I'm building them up pretty fast, which is odd for me as sometimes I can go for ever without progress it seems.

Next up. The three prototypes for noise marines with sonic weapons. I am going to have a couple of squads of these.
The interesting problem is because of the size of the sonic weaponry it makes the agile and sexy pose of the last ones feel off. They look like they should be lumbering slowly forward firing off an exploding cover.

So instead of modifying the legs and lower torso to give them that sleek feeling, instead I have given them gorget and normal armor in an attempt to make them feel heavier even than normal.

This special squad. Nicknamed the blast banshees is comprised entirely out of the musical meetings that made up the space Marine force. More on backgrounds to come. I am coming up with an entire story for my chapter.

hey there world. So, another update, though this time sadly I realized that I didnt do any wip pictures. So sorry, my bad ><
But in other news I have finished my helldrake. Its large, powerful looking and at the same time still has the feeling im after.

Ill post far more about it later, just gonna spam pictures and for now ive decided that my emperors children are a recent chapter that ended up on a planet, turning it into a bastion world against encroaching chaos hordes. A planet of almost amazonian nature with lots of women on it. The sublte corutopn started and then doom... But again, more on all that later when ive more time.

Neat concept, but I'd lose the human head entirely. Would help it fit the 'beautiful but horrific' theme of Slaanesh much better.

Deffinetly good thoughts. She is all done now. But I'm deffinetly thinking of making a wing of helldrakes. One definitely with the dragon's head I think that idea is fantastic and as long as I can keep the theme looking roughly the same and it totally unique for each model I agree.
One of the key things I'm trying to achieve is my own independent look. I know many people go for a scary and sexy look but I'm trying to get more of the humanoid figures in there. The reason for this is honestly it tends to be harder due to the scale and my modeling skills.

an English company that do some nice parts that were perfect for me. Though I do have some "dark ages " minis on order for the awosme plan I have for my warp smith.

Alright. This is the moment a lot if you have been waiting for. I can probably presents to you my soul grinder. In very happy with her.
She fits my theme and at the same Time looks wonderful. Though got to figure out how my next one will be different. Maybe lots of ballet heeled legs instead of the defiler ones.

The soul grinder. A fusion of demon and machine. Normally a prison for the deamon even at the same time that it is granted the gift of a body that won't dissipate into the warp quickly. But this soul grinder took on a far grittier and worse binding process. The machine was built and the warp smiths started their dark rites to summon the demonic host to imbue it with life. But chained around it were 77 slaves, all female of course and all cut and sliced so their wounds invoked the eye of their twisted god. Even as the ritual passes and the machine started to glow with an eerie light the salves chained to it wept out. As the demonic form took its vassal the bound figures vanishes into the metal like it was quicksand. Their forms melding with it, tortured wails ringing out as flesh and metal fused until it awoke.
With the choir like voices of 77 maidens it's works reached out like a silken glove. It's figure forged in the warp smiths twisted image of perfection and beauty stepped forwards with the grave of a ballerina and the deadliness of a siege tank.

Nightingale was born.

The only reason I point that out is because I will hopefully be playing a game. Chaos vs Space marines all painted and pretty.
So far I'm getting there. 8 noise marines with sonic weapons done. And now two squads of the sexy marines as well photos coming soon. ( though I hate those kinda of photos. They never convey the sense of the model )

But I am sure to take pictures of the fight so wish me luck.

Getting things back on track I'm almost on the full squad of noise Marines. There a simple conversion with female heads and Gord gets at the front here some work in progress pictures

Great conversion work, keep it up! Would love to see it on the tabletop actually. Makes me want to make a slaanesh conversion army as well!

I really like the conversion you've done with the Predator, and the DE detail you've added to it and the Rhino look great as well. The Helldrake also looks great, and the hybrid-head has a charm to it. I'd like to see a closer-up image of it as well.

Some more random tinkering. So far I am now playing with Demonetts. Sadly I no longer like the current models. I found they lost the central appeal and the angles and they're posing seems off as though there's simply stood there. Once again I have a lead used dark elf parts in combination with the demons. A simple enough conversion though I like it, I filed off the noses to give them a more demonic appearance and added the claws.

They work perfectly.

It looks exactly like the 4th gen deamonettes I would even say it looks better

Loving the slaaneshi army, very individual, especially the predator. I cannot reasonably offer you advice and expect you to pay any attention, so I won't. Maybe a few suggestions then, as perfection is a journey, not a destination.
With the slaaneshi marines, have you considered heroin? Sort of like canisters plugged into their backpacks or needles - y'kow the rack of three missiles you get with tactical marine missile launchers? If you cut the tips off those and then stick the needle in backpacks often work well. Also, I really love your whole female spess marine thing, it's an odd thought that in the 41st millennium chaos is far better at gender equality than everyone else, have you checked out kromelch, spellcrow or maxmini? They've got some really good slaanesh things: helmets, pauldrons, sonic weapons, you name it.
Always remember: there's more than one aspect that Slaanesh embodies. Don't get too hung up on the whole sex, sex, sex business. Diversity is King (or possibly Queen).
Regardless, enough of my ramblings; your models are fabulous, and your modelling skills are simply sexy. Slaanesh demands more!

Thanks drakeslayer. Your right of course. in fact honestly the excess of drugs is a great idea. MUST remember that, Very literally, no pictures for the moment but at this stage its because I managed a real game today. I haven't played in 8 months after an awful tournament that I attended. So bad was it that I even stopped modeling. :(

But im gonna upload photos and show off aall sorts of neat stuff. nearly done what im doing now and then me thinks experiment with needles and nurses.

alright so it turns out i was telling lies and that Im secretly putting more pictures up now. in fact LOTS, not sure how I should be doing this, if its a giant spam a great mass of images. So..... well lets apam away

Lessions I learned

first off the relic predator that can fire three plasma cannon shots can and WILL kill your mans.

secondly there is a combination that SM can take on an HQ that gives them a 2/3++ save and with it will not die and eternal warrior just wont die

and thirdly it was a blast and im gonna do it again

Sadly I do agree. The lists can be silly, the game is unbalanced and of course all the worst. In the last game i had the space marines lord with a couple of relics whooped a khorn greater deamon and a squad of berserkers without a scratch [ not including my own noise marines who just did well and survived, but still/]

But no matter the balance, no matter the game there is always the modeling to be done. got a rhino to finish, two land raiders to do SOMETHING WITH ????? the warp tallons and then a few more squads of deamonets. one daemon prince and one keeper of secrets.

beyond that im open to suggestions. Litteraly, at worst ill just start using this theme and twisting the other gods.

I'm guessing the first one will be another sonic tank. That's a conversion beamer there, so lots of lazery goodness. The second one looks like a part from a tyranid zoanthrope, but I could be mistaken. Possibly some sort of chaos lord/sorcerer conversion? And the final one is a sarcophagus off a venerable dreadnought. Helbrute? Or something more sinister...

Honestly yes. It's harder to convay in the pictures. But my army has a few tones to it. The troops are the best example right now. I have two squads if noise marines with bolters. They are the faster leaping conversion. They are done up primarily in bright pinks and blues over blacks. Then I have a squad of noise marines with sonic blasters. They have forgets instead of leaping about and they are toned down. Inked over a lilac purple to make them seem more drab.

So some are brighter. Some are less. And when I work out my tox squad I'm thinking a mesh of neon and deep greens for the girls on drugs.

Hello world. Once again I decided to post pictures. I had a 21,000 point game but photos of that will have to come at some other stage. Today I have completed my warp Smith.

I am very happy with her I must say. Floating on a sea of mechanical limbs her own arms are removed and replaced with mechanical sides and tools of the trade. This creature that was once an admech turned to the dark machine gods path.

She had to have some aspect of slanesh under all that armor. Its almost a shame as the modle had barely constrained cleavage now hidden by armor.

BUT techmarines are heavy in armor and I need the model to be as close to WYSIWYG as possible, It has to scream admech some how and red armor and a servo arm are what happened

Ok. Have to link this. A very nice person saw my greater deamon and did his own.

Which I love. The hair is rough and looks dreadlocked. The sword handle in greenstuff is great and of course she capture the looks of the lesser Deamons.

Hadn't checked this thread for a while and it's nice to see you're keeping up your good work. Fantastic and imaginative stuff as always. If only so many people would care a bit less about making powerlists and put on their armies 10% of the customization effort you've done here... the world would be a better place. And with more T&A! I've always been quite a fan of Chaos Undivided rather than any of the four main deities, but this thread has certainly sparkled some interest in Slaanesh.

Woot. So there I was staring at the reaver Titan I've been commissioned to make. Pondering it and such when I decide that I want to build my own reaver Titan. I mean who doesn't want one of those things crushing around.

woot, so one heck of a day, had a malestrom wargame, 1500 points. Got a little hairy at some junctures but thanks to some olbiterators that refused to die to everything but raw spite it turned out well. Got some good objectives, sustained some losses
in the end 8 victory points to 4.

the key thing is that both of us had fun. Though once my helldrake made it on, burnt some people and escaped it was all mine.

The most important thing though is I got it done, Thats right my reaver titan " belladonna " has been finished in my one week deadline. So im happy. She needs some touch ups and some detailing, but who cares its amazing, Once I finish the comisioned titan for my friend then we plan to get into some massive fight .

But i did get to take some pics of belladonna on some great terrain.

Woot. So got the move all done. Set up the modeling area and got everything figured out. So woo.

Now into the models.

At the request of a friend. He wanted me to model a knight Titan or two. He has seven now I think and wants something to fight against. So here is my fluff.

Knights, once so proud and respected as they towered over the battlefield flying their house colours all while raining fire and death to their enemy's. But during the times of chaos and the Horus uprising even these nobles were not spared the touch of chaos.
As the dark times started some nobles and their mighty warmachines fell to chaos, some felt the madness and must of battle. Quenching their growing thirst in blood and slaughter. Others fell faster as plagues and flies corrupted them within the sealed housings of their knights.

Our story centers on those that felt the lust of battle, the roarus cacophonous joy of battle cannons firing. The lights if holoscreens dazzling the pilots face as targeting icons and status displayed flicker across their faces.
Twisted over time the pilots of these mighty metal machines lost their identity. Them and the metal of their titans melding over time unt they are one. After a time thise wild feral machines roam the wilds of chaos planets lost in the warp. Their ancient sirens screaming out battle crys and letting their challenges ring Out over planes. Racing in pacts like wolfs of old times or lone vessels of destruction.


Up until now.
As the times of battle near and the bells of war ring out those chosen of slannesh, heralds and champions of the prince of excess get to fight and compete for the chance to capture a knight Titan. But even as they fight for the honor of being given such a chance to ride a knight into battle. Even that is but the start of their challange.

For once they win the honor of this chance they must go and seak out their new mount. They have to find the knight Titan and then capture it, taking it and taming it like a stallion. Breaking the great metal beast until they can mount it. Sat astride it as they ride to war with a great machine of death thrumming under them.

Also a picture of just the leg. Simply becuse really happy with them and how they came out.

Aside from that.

All right good morning. So far I'm very glad that I'm back modeling. I have missed it and I am miss the creative outpour that I manage. I love working on miniatures where I take two things that were never meant to go together and mash them together.

So I finished my first pro type rust stalker what do you all think. I think she looks very angry that she's half cybernetic pony girl at the same time looks ready to kill

I like the mix of ad mech and female parts. Looks very dark

Thank you a lot. Sorry I'm been quite slow this time unfortunately the real world is busy for me. Not that I mind and it's a concentrate on all sorts of things. I took my orks out to a tournament recently. I didn't do too well. It doesn't surprise me I prefer the modeling however I definitely enjoyed myself and I won best painted. It definitely gave me a moment of satisfaction. I don't have too much ego and I was honestly surprised. There were some very nice looking models there



Now onto the rest. A second prototype and this time using a gas mask head from the rust stalker Although it does mean I'm not sure when I'm going to do with the infiltrators.

Brilliant. The first stalker is especially amazing the female parts work really well.

The blue hair is a nice touch, very striking.

Alas. With Christmas coming up sadly it seems I have a little time To model. But I must put Sean, I must make sure that the mighty powers of chaos are given their due.

so the robots, I have to say I dont like the heads that they come with, I think the funnyest picture I have seen makes them look like baymax from big hero 6.
So trying to continue the theme but wanting something more robotic I mixed some warmachine models in with the poor robots, some green stuff and tada, see how she looks once painted.

Interesting 'head' swap, certainly gives them a different feel.

A belated Merry Christmas everybody. I hope everybody got lots of cool wargaming miniatures. And if you didn't I hope you have enough random junk laying around to build the army you've always wanted. Don't just build the army they give you, build the army that's inside your hearts, Build the force that you imagine every time you see some sort of cool sci-fi battle. I don't play often but every time I play a game of Warhammer it's a cinematic moment inside my head. I don't always play to the best of tactics and I don't know all the rules. However I thoroughly enjoy every single game because it looks awesome in my mind

So one small random went inside my Forge world delivery came in. So I'm very excited to see how that goes and I actually want to game in a 500 point tournament. One out of three that's pretty impressive for me

I really like the subdued color scheme on the Kastelans. Something about that choice makes the conversions seem like that's how the models were intended to look all along.

Loving the admech additions to your army, particularly the infiltrators - very ghoulish, almost blanchitsu...
For the skitarii rangers, you could try and combine them with the legs and derriere of daemonettes to emphasise the smexy. Just a thought. Or perhaps swap the heads with dark elf witches?

So in answer to you first. This one only has an additional part from a Leman Russ tank to write. Everything else is part of the original kit. The problem with Quiplash and something is it depends on if you're factoring in the cost of the models that went into it. What I mean by that is I have an Ork biker and it uses a cold one raptor wrapped in Exo armor.

So this kit bash needs
an ork biker
Dark elve cold ones
X2 kills kans for the legs
And plasticard.
So as a kit bash if they are all spare sure. But if you have an idea often it's more expensive to do a kit bash if you think of the kits involved

Yesssssss - there were a lot of Drycha = Helbrute/Dread comments when that model appeared, happy to see somebody making good on the threat Great start

Call me strange but the model drycha looks to much like a hellbrute. It was too obvious a choice and besides, I have been unhappy with the maulerfiend model in my theme but finally something I could work with came out.

It's like why I have also avoided the grey knight dread knight kit. A lot of the options have been done to death and I try for originality.

All right there World.

Decided that im doing two maulerfiends and they are going to be twin sisters with different styles of armor, one with lots of smooth green stuffed plates, the other with thick armor plates from the hell drake and maulerfiend kit. But this is where the first sister is at.
I need to pick a pose for the lasher tentacles, i want them to be fluid and move with the arms. Im rally happy with how thick they are, how massive they are with the sleeker legs and body.

Nice, the first Sister is looming great.

So let's see. First of all @kernalterror yes and no. So the models legs are kinda tough. It's ment to be wood and mushrooms and such but I filed and sanded off all the wilderness stuff. There are some spots that I'll use as red and joints. I'll attach a photo to show you what I mean.

Borrow away with anything and everything. If something inspires you then all the better for it. Ill be coming back to modeling again soon. I got somewhat distracted with LARP and the fact that my local hobby store flooded. SO i havent done much as Im strange and prefer buying from that store. ITs opening up at the end of may. So once that starts ill get back to working on my army.

A part of the break as well is that Ive got some ideas I really want to do. But im waiting on some specific models. Like the lizard riders from the TTG2 kickstarter and such.

But Im thinking of doing cetaur deamonets as my steeds of slannesh Get some chaos demons going too.

1. Get some models that better fit obliterators. And make them sexy.
2. make some more terminators [ hard to do as hollowing out termy armor is a pain in the butt.

Hmmmmmmmmm Alright Kurnost. You might be onto something there. Obviously Id need to convert them. I Convert pretty much everything as I kinda hate using models "as Is" Its just not in my nature. Rip apart a few of the Mabs. Give them chaos arms and legs. Add some plates here and there and that might just work. BRAVO sir. IDEAS

Thank you very much. Ive a goal to build a complete force of slannesh followers. The chaos space marine side is fairly easy as its the main force. I was going to end up doing a traitor legion of imperial guard as well.
But then admech came out and Ive always loved admech. Even with the Role play books my first character was admech
So I figure that why not. its a dark skitari force with their admech traitors that are following around my force. Who woke the reaver titan from its slumber and anointed its reactor in their twisted and chaotic oils. Who took its machine mind and drove it to madness with carnal pleasures. bwahahahah

I love your warpsmith Almost entirely mechanical, with the jarring femininity of her legs beneath the armoured torso. Excellent

The mashup of Witch Elf and Ruststalker bits is just inspired too I hope you don't mind but I'm absolutely stealing that idea I've been wanting to do some Amazonians for my techno-Greeks and they're perfect for that

The Warmachine walker with the pilot plumbed into the head area is brilliant too gives me some ideas to un-derp the Kastelan robots if ever I feel like getting one

Love the Maulerfiend too. The little touch of the upper thighs that look like they were once clothing is particularly excellent

Cheers sir. Do it by all means. I hope people take inspiration from anything I do. I just try and make something original so I often end up searching dakkadakka first. If i see my idea done then I'll re think it. I'm a night after some sort of award or title for being first. But I could not lie if I don't get a sense of pride in trying to come up with original and creative ideas that I haven't seen before If I inspire someone all the better

Don't apologize. Steal these ideas and spread chaos. I will always say that I'm happy for people to take my ideas. Of all things the only thing that I ask is if you create something awesome feel free to share it here. I'd love to see what kind of ideas other people could have based around my ideas. The community here is astounding and I think that working together people could create some truly unique items

Wooo alright. Finaly some new pictures at long last. As after all thats why people come here. The pictures......

So we have my maulerfiends that are both still WIP. Twin sisters fused with flesh and metal and demonic essence to create massive and powerful killing machines.
But both sisters are not alike. One has more armor, more plates and metal and of all things had more grace. Pointed scythe feet that most mortals would struggle to send dancing into combat. But she manages it. Though she has more dexterity and armor than her sister her twin has the cunning and directs her brutal sibling into the fires of death and back.
Of course had to model them together and whats more heart warming than two siblings holding hands as they wander about \

You and me both! Sometimes you come across something that's too cool to pass up though

alrighty. First sister is finally done after far far to long. Waiting on a secret delivery of illicit black primer before I can start the final details of the other.

First of all, this is a maulerfiend The key question is do I do the same kind of thing for my forgefiends ? make a coupole of them in the same stile, maybe even more armor or some such or do Igo compley different for the forgefiends ?

advice, thoughts ?

Love the Maulerfiend. Considering how creative the maulerfiend is in reckon you make an awesome forgefiend but in a different direction. Got any ideas bubbling away?

Nope. No plans, I don't actually plan anything out sadly. I just get a bunch of an idea in my mind and start mangling parts together.
Even the maulerfiend was more a strange coincidence. The base model came out and I couldn't say no to doing something slannesh to it. Hence the maulerfiend.

I honestly didn't plan on ever actually building either of the friend models.

Even now part of my problem is that my local hobby shop doesn't open up until the end of the month and I'm unsure without staring at a bunch of models.

Coupled with my personal Motoo of not building anything I've seen before

So if you have any ideas mr cheese then do suggest away

Call me a little nooblet, but how did you have both a right and left Knight-sized Power Fist? I thought the kit only lame with a left handed one.

hey there tacticalspam. Your right, the kit sadly only comes with a single, left handed fist which is a massive shame in my mind. Green stuff and some love. I cut apart the plate that goes over the hand and shaved away the ball socked for the thumb on the left side. Then honestly I glued it to the right hand side and greenstuffed it in place. Smoothing it out. Then i did much the same to the plate, smoothing out somegreen stuff and adding the curve needed to mimic the opposite hand

Really happy with how it turned out so far honestly.

in the pictures I tired to make sure you might be able to see what I did. Even just closing the first on the left hand side and letting it stand there gorilla style was tough. Especially as I was not patient where i was modeling and didn't have any plasticard on me. SO I mangled some spru from some other range

Sure fooled me

Hello world. Me again, a small update. I have started painting the second sister, I have decided for her because she is more armoured to go with a very dark colour scheme. I will add some colours however for this model I'm feeling lots of steel colours

So I started off black, and then dry brushed silver, from there I added in some copper for contrast and inked it black. Next up I'm highlighting the armor with a much lighter silver. I wouldn't normally do this given the theme of army I have however I feel it suits the dichotomy of the two sisters very well

As always feedback, questions, or just wild accusations are always welcome

I gushed over the first chick when we first saw her, but I really do love the design on these gals ... and may be acquiring for some Khornate mecha action in the nearish future

In the meantime, progress is looking good!
