I like. I'm trying to put together cultists for Kill team that are loyal denizens of the Imperium, and a sister hospitaler who's grabbed a rifle would be quite fun to add in.
IGG is even less accountable than KS, AND they take your money immediately. I've been in two campaigns and neither were good experiences so I won't personally go near IGG with a barge pole.
I don't have a *need* to crowdfund things. Certainly these days, and I'm much more risk-averse.
I like this, but I would have liked the proper grimdark version, with boots, and ammo belts, and gear, more. These are just a little too silly for me, but the work is really nice. Good luck!

I've added a stretch goal of ammo pouch / wargear accessories accessories sprues, so you can add on extra gear. Hope that helps. :-)

Are we paying extra for shipping? Only thing holding me from pledging
Other useful Nun variants are planned - depending on how well the funder goes(!). I have had a few requests for semi-armoured Nuns, which might suit your desire there.
I guess the normal nuns would make some nice female Frateris Militia for 40k (with rules for IG allies). Some battle-hardened nuns with worn-out clothes, wounds/scars and some simple bionics would be an interesting addition (not only for 40k).

Heck just use them in combination with other sci fi stuff like the maelstroms edge civilians and boom, easy conscript squads

Posted a message on Kickstarter, but if other variants are pre rendered, would it make sense to put them up as add ons?
Each model matter printed & moulded costs quite a lot of money, so it's best for us to unlock extra model types in stages, so that we know there's enough money in the pot to cover the various costs.
Otherwise for example, we might unlock a bunch of kit types, and if they don't sell, we'd make a two grand loss on the campaign!

I can see that. It might be an incrntive then to post pics about further goals
Pledged for the laser squad and the mother. I hope the accessories will avalable as an add-on if the stretch-goal is not reached as I find they lack a bit of details (especially a belt).

Thankyou Samko!
I'll ensure they get added to our range in any case, and right now with the speed at which we're taking pledges I'm very confident we'll get them as a freebie.

It's also at times like these where I wish I was a billionaire so I could fully fund a project in 3 clicks

The right arm is glue-on, so weapons choices can vary there yes. Set contents yet to be announced...

I'll actually need to pop into my FLGS and buy a well-known model or something, as I don't have anything particularly mainstream in my collection right now (!) to scale against.

Can you give us some ideas as to alternative weapons then? Might be incentive for people to pledge for them
Awesome. Is the nun mobile going to only be an APC, or are variants planned?
The initial vehicle will be an open-topped armoured vehicle, with a driver, and a gunner with a heavy machinegun.
It would also have passenger capacity for ~5 Sisters.
Other variants are definitely on my agenda, assuming funding goes high enough.

Sounds fun; I was just going to put them in a bucket, throw them in the air, and shout BANG.
Using them for tabletop wargames sounds more sensible.

Woke up and found we had passed the funding goal for the donkey Riders
On that note, the Nunmobile has now been Unlocked for purchasing, just a touch early (I was getting bored of waiting for the exact stretch goal target to be hit)...!
Dr. Mills wrote: I'm seriously tempted by this, because the sheer hilarity a full army of these pious, God fearing warriors is too good an opportunity to pass!
They are going to have organ (the musical instrument) artillery soon, just gotta pledge to get those numbers up.
Samko wrote: What would you use the nunmobile as ? chimera ?
I think the closest Warhammer equivalents would be Chimera or Centaur?
Or maybe even a Sentinel proxy? (Though maybe it'd be a touch large?)

Thanks for the interest Sir Doctor.
Every pledge helps on a project of this size, as most of the funds raised are going to be plowed straight back into making more unit types available.
We've now passed £2250, which has unlocked the free ammunition pouches / wargear accessories sprues for existing Nuns sets!
That means that, since we've already Unlocked the Nunmobile for pledging, we're now chasing, the Pipe Organ Artillery piece & Nun gun-crew!
A fearsome multi-barrelled artillery piece that fires rocket-assisted projectiles, the Pipe Organ also makes a fun toot toot noise whenever it's triggered.

I love the idea of a warhammer 40k convent full of old ladies worshipping the Emperor faithfully - passing out pamphlets in the slums, writing letters to the imperial guard - then breaking out the rocket launcher for some practice down on the range. It is exactly the kind of lunacy that makes the setting great.

Exactly man. Sisters of battle past thier prime but still combat capable.
Nun Command Squad!
NOTE: This squad is still a work-in-progress: It will be finished to the same standard as the other squads shortly after the campaign ends.
(Metal)
This set will contain five Nuns:
- 1x Nun with Petard Launcher.
- 1x Nun with Holy Icon
- 1x Nun Army Commander, pointing at something for her underlings to mercifully attack.
- 2x Rifle Nuns (Random poses)
If we reach £4500 the Nun Command Squad Set will be upgraded so that the two Rifle-armed Nuns will be replaced with two new sculpts: One medic Nun, and one radio operator Nun.
The next Stretch Goal after that will be at £5000: A Free New Special Character Nun Model for every Campaign Backer who pledged over £30 - Nun with Boomstick Shotgun & Chainsaw hand - "Sister Wednesday".
This set contains one Psychic Nun in a dramatic "summoning" pose, and one Ghost with eye-holes and a big smiley mouth cut out. A "holey ghost", as it were...
...and two plastic bases.
It's available for £7 either as a stand-alone pledge, or as a top-up.
Here we go, with one final squad to unlock: The Shotnuns!
NOTE: This squad is still a work-in-progress: It will be finished to the same standard as the other squads shortly after the campaign ends.
The Nun Shotgun Teams are composed of elite squads of the most battle-hardened veteran Nuns. Whisper their names quietly and with respect, lest their choleric spirits rise in ire.
This set contains 3x Shotnuns, and 3x Plastic Bases, and is available for £8 either as a stand-alone pledge, or as a top-up.
