Alternative Armies is running their "Winter Mega Event," 20% off every order until Monday 5th of December. They have great sci-fi and fantasy stuff with an oldhammer vibe, mostly metal, with a small amount of resins thrown in here and there; I particularly love their Bob Olley Ion Age space knight sculpts.

Thanks to Kid Kyoto for the tip on Bronze Age Minis; I've had my eye on their metal space werewolves (best space beastmen I've ever seen) and modern not-Turok for awhile.

What I love about Bronze Age is they have a huge line of Not John Carter of Not Mars, but the subterfuge is so unnecessary since JC is in the public domain.

Apparently the Burroughs estate claims that the copyright still applies in some countries, so it's possibly just covering themselves - there were various shenanigans called when the Disney movie was released. I do like their range of green martians, though.

Bronze Age miniatures are some of my favorite sculpts. I find the sculptor one of the few that can put a real soul into a sculpt.
They are not always the best technically, and can be a bit rough in some areas, but you cannot beat the soul/character/life of the sculpts. He has some of my favorite poses ever.

Same feeling here, And I am local to them and game at their Brick and Mortar shops every week. It's like they planned these sales 6 months in advance and forgot to order up merchandise for them.

Yes, but yesterday's single item on sale for $3 for a game that probably isn't going to sell blockbusters, was probably something they have been stuck with. Free shipping over $75 last week, they just seem like real stinkers. The sales that have been decent have been on items/lines that they were out of stock on, good deals, but nothing to buy.

NK has another sale. Spotted some bundles for the Amertrashers who haven't kept up with the cult of the new and don't mind used. To reach the $149 free shipping, I look in the Clearance (then Discount) and sort starting from the highest price, about seven (then three) pages. I would suspect it means you pay for it same time your pay for the merchandise. Rather than them not charging any tax, then having to pay for it when the goods arrive. Thus avoiding whatever fee the delivery service charges for acting as an intermediary.

That’s nice to know. I’m up there (Manchester) Saturdays for ASOIAF. They were marking slow movers in the store down on Tuesday when I stopped in to pick up an order. They definitely carry different selections at the two locations.

Basically the designs. Neoprene mats are a mature product and everyone is going to be more or less the same in terms of print resolution/color brightness and mat quality themselves. So I look at the graphics as a decider. I've got mats from them, Tablewar and one from the EU that I cannot remember the name of. All have some good stuff. FAT Mats from FLG have a section that are a bit more realistic and for some games I really prefer that.
Their Badlands is my favorite desert design. Realistic enough but doesn't stand out. https://store.frontlinegaming.org/collections/gaming-mats/products/6174442225829-flg-mats-badlands-2

Thanks for the reply, Monkeysloth. As it happens, that was the main one I was interested in.
{As of 2012, when starting a Necron army, I decided that moving forward that new terrain and further basing would be desert themed. Previously I'd purchased two factions for In Her Majesties Name which called for desert basing, and the bulk of my Malifaux figures did too. Even if I could afford every different biome that I want, there's no place to store it. So desert it is, and basing with sand is easy as well. This is why my Frostgrave collection is Sandgrave.}

I have made three purchases from them, and find them reliable. Their selection is small. They seem to have the best prices and selection of Battlesystems printed cardboard terrain, and their game Core Space. I've started buying from them for my Core Space needs. The original Core Space can be played co- op or H2H, and has a campaign with character development and ship upgrading (the ship is important, but just support). Core Space: First Born is newish, and is pure solo, also with a campaign.

Black Week: All products up to 60% off. [They did not put an end date in the e-mail or the product page, so I don't know how long "black week" runs.]
https://shop.hint-thegame.com/12-products
These are cyberpunk figures. The figures are pretty good; the game ... massive fail in my opinion. When I backed their KS, I did so as I did not own a cyberpunk game, and we'd been playing a lot of co- op (this was pre-COVID). So we played three co- op scenarios. The Solo/Co- op mode feels like an afterthought, and is too easy. The cyberspace phase is a waste; it looks meaningful at first, but halfway through game #2 we'd seen most of the deck, and it had all been irrelevant, so our Hacker had been drawing cards for nothing. And the game AI is too easy to exploit: it was like a video game where if a mook walked into a wall, they'd stay there until you killed them. It was that easy. So while I'm mining it for figures, the game as a whole has not seen the table again.
Now, I have not tried it H2H. The cyberspace phase should be relevant there, as each side would draw cards and then play them offensively and defensively. Similarly each side would get [N] number of points and would build and equip their team instead of pre-set loadouts. And of course it's H2H, so the poorly designed AI is not in play.
It's 24 Euros right now, and you do get 37 plastic figures. They are Zombicide level in quality so that's another consideration. The company obviously wants you to pimp the game with their resins.

They may have fixed it, I've not had any problems. But for me, it's not really a sale. Anything I want is still at the standard discount. Loaded the cart, but won't pull the trigger yet. Maybe they'll sweeten things closer to Xmas, double points or something.

I've seen some Battle Systems in person recently, it's good stuff, very vibrant.

Yes, I'm pleased with the Battlesystems sets I've bought. A cyberpunk core set, the Frontier Worlds Core set, and some "boosters": a med-lab, a docking bay, and detention cells.
I've also purchased the Core Space game from Battlesystems, which gave me a 2nd cyberpunk core set. I'm glad I played Core Space before buying Into the Dark. Each scenario in the campaign has a different map, so set-up and tear down of the map is at least 30 minutes (usually about 45m for me). Battlesystems terrain is easy to assemble and disassemble, whereas from what review videos I've watched, the Into the Dark plastics are difficult, and require filing. So I dodged that bullet, and saved money.
My Battlesystems Gallery, with Stargrave Crew for size comparisons.

Knightmare Miniatures, purveyors of excellent new oldhammer-style metal miniatures and Cthulhu resin miniatures, have free shipping (including internationally!) until November 27th.
www.knightmareminiatures.com
If you're after new, hand-sculpted metal Oldhammer or Rogue Trader style miniatures, Knightmare Miniatures is among the best out there. And if you're interested in getting anything "5th-Chaos-God" Malal / Malice related besides Kaleb Daark himself, they're essential:
If you're after the digitally sculpted Cthulhu resin stuff, look under "The Ancient Evil" category for things like this kick-ass Byakhee:
As a U.S. customer with the Euro historically lower than usual against the dollar, free shipping from Europe is a good deal.
Apologies for my enthusiasm: I am a big fan of their stuff. But on my honor as a Dakka-ite, I have no association with Knightmare outside of being a happy customer.

I'm currently going through the Core Space: First Born solo campaign. Instead of tearing down a setup after a mission, I'll look at the next mission's objective and play another game with that objective in my current setup (eg. use the setup from Mission 1, and the objective from Mission 2). Then, after that game, I'll "rotate" the objective and entry way to the next side of the map. This introduces different tactics because of the map layout. To keep the campaign intact, these "practice" missions don't count, so I don't search for stuff. So that's five games I play per setup, which would be 50 games over the 10-mission campaign.
Anyway, posting Amazon's BF sale for WotC products, namely D&D and Magic. Found a two-deck Magic starter set for $7 so I could reach free shipping on my order. https://www.amazon.com/deal/ce27576c?showVariations=true&ref=dlx_black_gd_dcl_img_31_ce27576c_dt_sl7_b0

My gaming group has played the entirety of both of those sets and it is a really tough call. Looking at those bundles though, the Ancients comes with the Frontier town set which is the one thing from the original kickstarter that I got that there was little or no interest in playing and it sits on the shelf. It is mostly "adventures in town" - this just didn't appeal as much vs. going to the other worlds. Given that I would lean towards the Swamps bundle as it comes with the Serpentmen set. I would add the XL enemy pack Swamp Raptor also.

People generally seem to really love the Frontier Town expansion, but as the above comment mentions, it's basically taking the town phase of Warhammer Quest and expanding on it severely. You get a Western Town board to play missions, a bunch of in-town locations with random tables to roll on when you visit and new stuff to buy, which really is awesome assuming you want to do that in the first place. I practically lived for the settlement phase when I played Warhammer Quest, so I think it's a fantastic idea, but it isn't the core game, it is a side thing. If it were me, I'd get the Swamps bundle and buy the Frontier Town expansion since it's on sale too. Both core sets provide the core experience in a very similar way though so you can't really pick incorrectly. And check out the Hexcrawl campaign for free if you haven't already on BGG.
Edit: Oh, I should also mention the Swamp Slugs of Jargono are on sale too. I know it's yet more stuff to pay for, but for $15 you get another enemy pack with Jargono encounter cards to meet in the swamps.

Nice french site, tons of boardgames and minis games, good shipping rates in Europe.

I spent 500€ on Wargamer.pl Luckily my card is at its limit so I physically can't spend more Fair warning, fantasywelt is one of those shady stores that never prunes old listings, they will happily take money for unavailable items they will never deliver and hope you forget about it. And every time I tried asking them before ordering when something will be restocked I got a "dunno lol"

True, fantasywelt has a lot of stuff that is not in stock that can still be ordered - I ordered some Bushido minis from them, and a month later they were still not in stock. BUT - I asked them, and they refunded back all my money, and I was able to order something else from them. The communication was also very good.
So, overall, I wouldn't say they are shady. I'm just ordering things that are in stock. They still have one ofthe most comprehensive product offerings in Europe.

Fantasywelt refunded one of my orders after a year where I ordered no longer available stock (i believe it was a Cobi tank). Communication is good. But yeah, I would recommend only ordering stock that is currently available.

I have better luck with Miniaturicum. de when it comes to preorders but both sometimes are a bit lacking when it comes to communication. I tend to now avoid ordering anything not shown “in stock” currently.

I don't know if Miniatures Market does this for everyone, but I'll share my experience. I filled up my cart about five days ago, and hoped some of the items might see price drops or become doorbusters. They did not. However, this morning I found a e-coupon from MM in my Inbox for 5% off. So I used it. The wait was also beneficial in that two minis that were OoS were back in stock. So it may be worth trying, especially at leaner times of year for retail.
BTW, no GW products. I might not be able to stick with this resolution, but GW does not offer enough value for me currently.

You're welcome. And thanks for the reference; I had not heard of Black Canary before. The picture used in the wikipedia article on Black Canary is identical in pose to Bombshell's Kestrel, so I'm sure you are right.
I'd meant to have three of my Bombshell minis finished by now, but while I finished Officer Chase {A Yeoman Rand expy. Grace Lee Whitney was born Mary Ann Chase}, I have been distracted first by a new computer game, and now by trying to write again.
