Next of the primarchs

It looks brilliantly sculpted, but unfortunately it doesn't scream space marine primarch to me. Unfortunately, it seems a bit wood elfy. But still a brilliant sculpt. Great job.

The chest shape is a bit off mate, to big and wide... and if you put more details above it it will look even bigger... the general proprotions of this sculpt are very uncommon. ALso head doesnt look menacing enough... from the side he looks he's falling down... and sharpeness of armour is inconsistent since in some parts looks like clothing instead of sharp armour and on other parts sharpeness is nice...
Dont get me wrong i like this! But it could be better mate.

Mortarion is nice, and the one you made before this was pretty sharp, but what I really want to see is Leman Russ.

Mmm... I like it. It's either because I have a loyalist Death Guard gene-seed remnant chapter, or a Wood-Elf themed eldar army, but I like it.

Also, it looks awesome. What's he going to be 'armed' with, in the usual sense? Thapic looks sort of like a sword and a pistol in the right...

Im sorry but im my opinion a primarch must be inspiring and stand strong and tall above all of his brothers, a symbol of humanities divinity, im sorryn but he looks like a pilgram wearing some power armour. and the hood looks to much like dark angels

Mortarion's world was something a little different to those where humanity stands proud and strong. Humans were enslaved scum, and Mortarion's story suits this look, I think. Maybe the shoulder pads just don't stick up enough, or he needs a power plant. WIP, people.

Current status

In Eisenstein, Mortarion was said to be very thin, so I think that his head fits in well with his wood-elf like appearance, but I agree that his chest is too wide. I understand that Primarch's are meant to be imposing, but Mortarion was seen as the pale, sickly primarch, so that fits in well with his fate.

Having seen the recent update, its definitely an improvement, however I still think it should be slightly thinner. Looking great however, and I hope that you are planning to create one for Perturabo!

Heh. This dude isn't telling us anything. Update makes upper breastplate look way better, and the leg-leatherwork is tops too. Good work.

Non-Fluff criticisms - Its looking fantastic, and the updated model really shows off your modelling skills. The breastplate isnt too big after seeing the update, although it still goes against my vision of him. I suppose Power Armour doesnt come in any specific sizes though...

Overall however, Good work. I assume that he is going to be armed with his Manreaper?

Not enough ornamentation I think. One would think a primarch would have it dripping off of him.
